What will the story of the au be about? What would the relationship between Solar and Moon be like? and how will Sun react to this game of passion??

Lol. It's not really a story I'm making. You can't read it anywhere yet. Who knows, I don't know if I'll make a fic based on this concept or not... but never say never.

I talked about it a bit more detail in here along with other links

It's just more of an RP scenario I'm playing with my friends. So there's no real story outside of just imagining Pining and smooching. There's no concrete Au but one might develop later.

I just give it the title of "AU" cause I don't want people coming in my inbox like "but are they cousins????" Cause, lol to me they're not, and I've talked about the loosely defined relationships of the robots before many a time.

To clarify, when I ship Solar and Moon I did before the 'cousin' relationship was clearly defined, and I don't see them as cousins. Okay? Okay???? We cool? We Cool.

But basically,

Solar has developed feelings for Moon. He probably has when back he first met him, and they've just been growing more since his memories have wiped and Moon has become chiller, and kinder.

Has very "as you wish" Princess Bride feels with Moon you know what I'm saying?

Not many people would rebuild an entire daycare in a Day.... how much can he pay back for this Moon. He gave him a place to stay, and saved him from his own Moon. (me and my friends call Solar Dimension's Moon "Asshole Moon" for simplicity's sake)

Solar was willing to sacrifice his life for everything. To Stop Eclipse once and for all. The Eclipse that hurt Lunar.... but he did this.... Not just for Lunar, but for this Moon in another dimension he doesn't even know and his whole family.

Solar hates his Moon. He even admits to hating Moons, and the worst sides of Moon, like Bloodmoon for example, remind him of his Moon, and he even calls Moon out when he's acting like Asshole Moon. .........Solar's attempted Sacrifice to let Moon kill Eclipse is a pretty big deal.

And Moon refused to let that happen. Even if it was of no consequence to him. Moon tries to justify it in that, he just can't see another person get hurt... But think.

Think for a few seconds, and think about how I thought of it at the time, and still do.

Reframe that.

He couldn't see SOLAR get hurt.

Couldn't see Solar sacrifice himself for him. He pushed him into that dimension as the only way to save him. Solar was justifiably mad, and even angrier when Moon told him after the fact Lunar might possibly be alive. He understands why Moon did it...

And a few weeks later, once he realizes all hope for his dimension, and having the love and warmth and family he gets from Lunar and Moon will be something he will never have here... and Sun will never be the same again...

He left.

Showed up at Moon's dimension like a sobbing wet cat, like "I have nowhere else to go"

Solar is also one of the firsts to Accept NewMoon as he is as a new person, he listens to Moon complain about Sun missing his old brother, and gives him perspective.

As far as the AU goes.... Solar is pining hard... and he doesn't want to break the friendship he has with this Moon. It's something special to him.... And he knows Moon, well, Old Moon was aroace and he doesn't know if that still applies. He doesn't want to test his boundaries. He would hate to see Moon mad or worse, reject him.

He is content (he's not) for now, building Moon things, making him things, building for him and caring about him. As long as he can stay here.

It's only others taking notice of his pining heartbreak, which he keeps under wraps until it becomes way more noticeable... that others give him a push. Because Solar was ready to take this to the grave with no one ever possibly knowing.

Moon also realizes he likes spending time with Solar, and he likes his snarky sense of humor, and is more surprised about the feelings, but is willing to test the waters on this, if it just means spending more time with him..

As far as how Sun reacts to Solar and Moon's budding relationship..... Eclipse has been his willing sex slave locked in his room secretely for a month at that point so he hadn't noticed.

As far as when this all takes place?

I'm guessing somewhere around the time Eclipse 'died'

But in this au, he survived broken and destroyed and crawled out of the portal like a banshee out of rage and spite and was ready to murder every single celestial animatronic he saw, but had no star power and was too weak to do anything.

Sun just kept him in his room because he didn't know what to do with him, was hesitant to tell Moon the plan didn't work, because now Sun was seeing how pathetic Eclipse actually is, and he doesn't think he wants to kill another person again. So broken Eclipse just kinda stays in Sun's room for a good while.... until Sun slowly starts to repair him (with limited functionality due to lack of resources, he doesn't trust him, and isn't as skilled as Moon, especially without access to parts and service.)

Cue the banter of hateful teasing transformed into flirting and... there you go.

Eclipse won't talk about the past with Sun. He won't. That will take years for him to explain this whole deal. So it's more of a mutually beneficial relationship for them....as they say

ok may be a bit of rant? tho im mad just a bit annoyed- im also happy! in the last video, as we know, NewMoon had a small chat with Monty, they try to make some time, in those moments they mention shippers, BUT only those that want Moon to Date Monty AND EARTH - is mess up- they call it out (good) but seeying this and how they jumped to BloodMoon, I just felt they CAN indeed mention and call out people, but since they didnt touch the bigger ship, I felt it , personally, as a win! (they could have said "oh like me and Solar" like come on, they mention him around Moon is used to say his name ) but when I did, as a comment , among others, just a idiot feeding the algorithm - someone had to come AT me, to say me "they are sibblings" and look, sure ok, kids will be kids, but I REALLY wish they would not do this, is not wrong really! but let people enjoy a fictional ship that does not hurt anyone! (in a sense that, is not wrong to ship robots, it wont trigger you) and before I could do it.. someone had my back ,someone that CLEARLY doesnt ship it

As it turned out, Boat Guy did not, in fact, wake up when they arrived at Newmoon Island. Not even with all the yelling Moss was doing as they tried to turn off the autopilot to slow the boat down.

Despite a very loud, very frightened, and very angry conversation (chock-full of swears, might I add), neither the boat nor the boat's Guy would pay any heed to Moss, Basil, or any of their pokemon.

Moss closed their eyes, bracing for impact, preparing to use their soft squishy body as a cushion for any of their more mortal friends, as the ship raced towards the island at full speed. They tensed their body, feet planted firmly in a wide stance, and....

....Opened their eyes, confused.

The boat. Had stopped. The rain had too, if the lack of pitter-pattering on the roof was to be believed. The windows were still streaked with rain, as if it had been raining only seconds before, and the boat was still rocking, but very gently, as if the sea was trying to lull them to sleep.

Looking out the window confirmed the boat's lack of movement. There they were, parked perfectly at the dock, waves lapping mildly against the shore. The boat was even tied up.

Moss looked at Basil, eyes wide and bewildered, clearly struggling to relax.

"....are you ok?"

The obedience code Ruin added to Bloodmoon is present on a great deal of my aus, that having been an interesting detail I liked, it is ironically absent from Bloody Brotherhood (Ruin having deactivated it alongside the other failsafes), and horrifyingly present in Quiet Throes (I’m trying to squeeze in little hints it’s there, but I’ll likely have to elaborate after the story)

I am trying to give the Bloodmoons as many different family arrangements as possible. Swap is directly in the Celestial family, Retired has a strong attachment to Solar and lives with KC, Separated are part of the Crescents and in turn the Celestials, YT are all family, Lone has Jack, Amnesiac is only with KC and Eclipse, Magic only has Ruin, Fantasy is by themselves, Ocean is with Foxy, GoD are friendly with Jack and Monty, the Monster Twins have the same relationships their roles have, Musical Duo has the rest of the choir, Horror has a weird family circle courtesy of the weird chain swap in that au, Keeper has Ruin and Stitchwraith, Overlord goes pester other star holders whenever bored, Rotting has Ruin, the Fate twins have their parent and destiny defying friends, and Spring has the Celestials too!

20 - ‘As we huddle together, the storm raging outside’ (Newmoon)

This is a bit of a mess I’m sorry but I’m so tired I can’t even process if what I’m writing is grammatically correct. also rey is my maze runner insert - rey is my Real Name eugh i guess she'd be named after audrey hepburn

Rain splattered on the rooftops, on the walls. Rey watched in a kind of morbid wonder as the skies emptied themselves on the Glade. It was strange, that such a mundane thing as rain would have such an enthralling effect on the boys.

Silence blanketed the Glade as they waited for the rain to stop. This was the first time it had ever rained in the Glade and the Gladers sure as hell hadn’t prepared for it. As a timid drizzle turned on the Gladers in an angry torrent, Newt took Rey by the arm and led her further into the shack to avoid the brunt of the storm, paying no heed to the wolf-whistles or catcalls – the mockery was just a shield for terror anyway, everyone was well aware of that. Newt sat himself down on the windowsill and pulled Rey into his lap. She nestled her head in his neck and closed her eyes.

‘Rain on the night we go out for the Grievers. Spooky or what?’ Rey scoffed, the bitterness in her voice all too obvious. Newt mimicked the noise and nodded slowly.

‘They’re toyin’ with us, alright.’ he responded. ‘Talk about pathetic fallacy.’

Rey laughed, more of a sullen bark than anything close to humorous. ‘Didn’t think you were one to know about pathetic fallacy.’ She was joking, but her voice was devoid of any joy. Just the strain of trying to hide her fear.

‘They wiped my memory, not basic general knowledge.’ Newt deadpanned. ‘I was probably quite the bookworm.’

Instead of carrying on the emotionless banter, Rey sat up to face Newt. ‘Are you scared?’

Newt pulled her head back to lean on his chest and sighed. She could hear his heartbeat in her ear; it drowned out the pounding of the rain on the window and calmed her.

‘Of course I’m scared, dumbass.’ he replied, half light-hearted, half cynical. ‘I reckon we all are. Anyone who ain’t is halfway to insanity.’

‘Part of me almost doesn’t want to leave. It’s been our home for 2 years, aren’t ya sad to see it go?’

‘Not really.’ Newt scanned the Glade, drowned miserably in grey. ‘Been a pretty shitty home if you ask me. What with bein’ trapped in a monster-filled maze and all.’

Rey lowered her head. He was right, of course he was. There was just a tiny, nagging coward inside her telling her to stay put with Gally and the rest of his goons. You’re dispensable, it said. Stay here, it’s safer. You won’t die here.

When she made no response, Newt jiggled her in his lap slightly. She wasn’t one to stay silent; the two could converse all day, given the chance. Rey was one of the most vocal people he’d ever met. ‘Somethin’ on your mind, sweetheart?’

Rey shook her head, a scornful chuckle escaping the back of her throat. Is there ever.’

‘Come on then, spit it out.’

Newt allowed for a small pause before holding her hands in his, in gentle reassurance. This gave Rey the courage needed to speak, though she did so rather hesitantly.

‘It’s just, ya know – you’re goin’ out there to fight these monsters we’ve been shuck terrified of for 2 years all of a sudden, it’s like goin’ to die. At least I feel like that’s what we’re doin’.’

Newt didn’t look like he intended to respond so soon; he just sat and listened passively.

‘And there’s this tiny… manifestation, almost, sayin’ to me to not go. Just sitting inside me, pointin’ out all the flaws I already knew I had.’ She sat up, somewhat agitated.

‘And it’s like, I know I’m gonna die out there, ya know? What do I have to offer – I’m just a Med-Jack, I don’t have much in the way of combat at all. Fighting alongside all you boys later… I can’t help but think about how expendable I am.’

‘Alright, time to stop there.’ Newt squeezed Rey’s hands as he spoke, deliberately and softly. ‘Heck if any of us think we have a chance out there, and it’s not exactly gonna be puppies and happy times after we get out, if we get out. But tonight we’re makin’ a stand, and what kind of a stand would it be if we didn’t have the strongest girl I know fightin’ alongside us, eh?’ He looked down at Rey, eyes twinkling, and she looked away with embarrassment, chewing her lips that had unconsciously curled into a smile.

‘And ya wanna know why you ain’t expendable?’ Newt continued, resting his chin on her head and following her gaze to the aggressive storm raging. ‘Because I love you. And I don’t know what I would do without ya, I honestly don’t.’

Rey clutched his hands so tightly her knuckles turned white. ‘I love you too. So much.’ Her voice was barely a croak, all cynicism and sarcasm dissolved in the pitter-patter of the rain.

‘Well then, let’s fight those horrors together. Really give it your all. And I swear to you, I’ll cover your ass till we get out of here. Any place is better than this hellhole, and I’ll be damned if I ain’t walkin’ outta that maze without you at my side.’

Rey leaned back on his shoulder and gazed at him through heavy-lidded eyes. He locked his eyes on hers and smiled tenderly.

‘That’s a promise, you shank.’

Together, they indulged in each other’s silence and enjoyed the thundering uproar outside, which suddenly didn’t seem so ominous after all.

For me, I'd always wanted to be in a film where it's not so much driven with CG, but I could be something bigger than life, I could have some kind of superpower. So for me to be able to transform into a wolf and have a fight and all that, I was like a kid in a candy store. I couldn't ask for anything more."

Did the wolves all suit you?

Everybody: "Oh, yeah!"

Alex Meraz: "There were mannerisms that Phil Tippett and his team actually did to make them all stand as individuals. You can tell the difference between one wolf and the other, and also suited it to what our characters were and what we brought to the table."

Bronson Pelletier: "Our real eyes are actually on our wolves, so it's pretty cool."

Taylor is not Native American, so can you talk about teaching what Native American means to you?

Chaske Spencer: "He was very open about that. He understands. We did the best we could with him, and he's the right guy for the part. He's the right guy for the part, and I'm very protective of him."

Kiowa Gordon: "He's like our brother."

Chaske Spencer: "He's like our brother. Nothing but mad love for him."

What did you talk about teaching him?

Chaske Spencer: "We asked a lot of stuff about the tribes and stuff like that, and we would talk to him and tell him. There are certain things that I do in my culture that I told him about, and he was really open to it."

Alex Meraz: "That's the thing. We're not even Quileute. The tribes we are is not Quileute. So for us to represent that tribe, it's as if we weren't even Native. It wouldn't really matter, because they have different customs than all of us do. It wasn't like we had to teach him how to be a Quileute Native, because we don't know how to be that either. All we had was our culture to bring into the filmmaking. We just knew how to respect the mythology of the tribe, and Taylor definitely is receptive to it."

Chaske Spencer: "He has his own culture, and he could draw from that."

How did you learn about the Quileutes and what do you know now about them?

Alex Meraz: "During the process of auditioning, I did as much research as I could about the Quileutes, knowing that they're whalers. They inspired the shape of their canoes to be pretty much clipper ships. They were really fast, and they were able to go from the Washington area all the way down to San Diego hunting whales. I learned about the mythology, really, the creation story. The Quileute came from wolves and transformed into people, but they don't go back. That's the thing, they don't go back. That's the aspect that Stephenie changed and took some things and put it in this fantasy realm."

Chaske Spencer: "I was amazed by the storytelling, which you were talking about. I was really attracted to that."

Was it awkward to spend so much time with your shirt off in the movie, or did you get comfortable with it?

Chaske Spencer: [Laughing] "Whatever puts the ladies in seats for the tickets!"

Alex Meraz: "That's what we've been telling guys. 'Guys, watch the film, because your girlfriends will be watching it.'"

Chaske Spencer: "The thing is though, there's action in New Moon. So bring the boyfriends, I think they'll really like it."

Alex Meraz: "They don't have a choice. Their girlfriends are going to be there."

Chaske Spencer: "They don't have a choice."

Alex Meraz: "But it wasn't awkward. By the time we got to start filming, we had already been working out shirtless. You know, it's like a costume. It really is. You wear it, you don it and you own it. You can't be intimidated about your body. That's not the time to be doing that, when that little red light's blinking and you're being filmed."

Chaske Spencer: "It also helps us get into character as well."

Bronson Pelletier: "Exactly. As soon as I got out there with my shorts and no shirt on, I felt the part, you know?"

Alex Meraz: "As soon as I got the bronzing on, I felt it."

Bronson Pelletier: "Good old bronzing. That always ended up on my socks."

Chaske Spencer: "That stuff is hard to wash off, too."

Alex Meraz: "I think they put motor oil on us."

Have any of you had any offers to be in magazine or on a cover shirtless?

Chaske Spencer: "Yeah. You know, this franchise, you're going to see us with our shirts off a lot. No more taking the shirts off. It's going to be up there, immortal, on film."

Alex Meraz: "It was in the contract. 'Beware, you're going to be objectified.'"

Chaske Spencer: "Oh yeah. We are the pieces of meat."

Alex Meraz: "But I did something for People magazine shirtless. But at this point, it's all in respect to the film. So it's fine for this particular franchise. If I was doing something else and I had a suit on, I'm sure they'd want me in a suit for publicity or for other things. So, it's for a project."

How cold did it get?

Alex Meraz: "About 30 degrees, raining. Pretty cold. Very cold."

Chaske Spencer: "Like he said, we could cut glass with our nipples."

Alex Meraz: "We had a glass-cutting company: Wolfpack & Friends."

I'm just gonna throw it out there cuz idk how many people have given you crap about this:

1). Solar labeled himself a "cousin" at EARTHS INSISTENCE. He straight up says that thinking about it in a "familial relationship" way doesnt work and is confusing see KC Eclipse Lunar Bloodmoon etc and hes only told that to Earth. Frankly, I think he, Moon and Sun think of Solar as "member of this family". Also, robots.

2). Moon can still develop feelings for someone, even if he's still aro/ace. I cant see Moon as EVER being the romantic type, and pretty much everyone in THIS show finds any sort of "physical" relationship weird and/or gross. Frankly, I read Solar as aro/ace too, cuz while the dude is CLEARLY capable of pining he really doesn't seem like the romantic type. So shipping Moon and Solar doesnt invalidate anyone's identity, especially since falling in love doesn't have to be romantic or physical *glares judgingly at society*

Also, imagine Solar and Moon going on non-romantic dates. Like they go to an anime convention or something and Moons completely needing out and Solars just like "you're a loser *heart eyes*"

WAIT NO BETTER IDEA!

Sun, who IS a romantic type, is like "I want my brother to have the best so I'm gonna help you guys get together" and Solars just like "pls no" and Sun tries to help make the perfect date, but both members are AGGRESSIVELY romantic and by the end Solar and Moon ditch Sun and like go play God of War or something X3

Surprisingly, no one has been giving me crap about much. I'm actually surprised with how chill everyone has been and how much on board they are with my silly little ship train idea. I'm actually happy everyone has been really cool and accepting so far.

And yes, this is true, and I went into a few posts about it. One post I went into specifics on the flexibility and "subject to change" nature about relationships in Robots. But agreed.

2. And yeah! Exactly. Back in the Early days of the show, Sun tried to pair Moon up on dates all the time, so it could have been a possibility that the old Moon was Romantic, or he wasn't, and Sun was just misreading the situation.... Also I never got his goal in trying to ship his brother with Roxanne other then to just be a voyeur because he's the one who liked her

And the only reason in my shipping Scenarios why Solar doesn't test his boundaries isn't cause he's acephobic in a majority of my scenarios. but moreso he doesn't want to violate Moon's trust or test his limits. Moon has given him so much, he doesn't want to ruin his friendship or the only home he's ever known.

Also NewMoon said he's "Questioning" right now, and that's also fine. And most likely i'll just draw from my own demi/ace experiences in a lot of ships I like/portray. Because I only know how to write my own experiences. It's not to invalidate others. I'm not every ace person in existence and it's such a wide spectrum so I can't account for everyone. I just write and brainstorm what feels right to me.

aphobic thinking of the day ahreee hahaha no no ok, but im just thinking- after anon mentioned NewMoon's new arc.. had me thinking of Moon as a whole..er- mostly his aro ace -since we are in pride !!

I got thinking on what he said last year, if he meets someone he may like , sure he may date em- but Moon never seems like the "romantic" nor the "flity" type , also his many gags at anything romantic was so clear to all .. he wasnt into romance not typical love stuffs - and he is believed to be sex repulsed

but then you have his other halves , KC and Eclipse- despite what most fan think, those are Moon's code- Eclipse more specially , is literally a "left over that became aware of itself" , so you see Eclipse with that more joyfull maliced, villain like act , sass that he most likely gaved to Lunar when he made him and Eclipse only keep the "smartness" so to say..but he had those when he show himself to us- he had trails of Moon still in him before he made Lunar- and after that we got the more calm- cold- paranoid version of Moon-Eclipse

then you have KC- yes tinder haha fuuny but-- yall know tinder is not to make friends! so.. yet another part of Moon- sure the homicidal code left there by Creator, yet another thing that became aware of itself - is showing desire for company..

so all of this to say.. is Moon fully sex reulsed? because Ace he is for sure! that no one will take away from him , but is the sex repulsed part that im wondering.. and no this is not because im aphobe - dont pull that on me, im only asking because too many parts of Moon have showed to want or have this likely to company .. maybe im looking too deep into jokes eh! puede ser!

but many solarmoon haters will pull the "he's sex repulsed" yet there's no much evidence- the gameplay is almost always not fully canon so we cant trusth it fully..

I think Old Moon was only a Demi Ace , who never found someone to spend time with, who never had interest in someone else, not like his other parts- Eclipse only showed interest in Sun and im saying this mostly without direction since he saw Sun as enemy - and KC mostly likely wanted to use his need of flesh in others ways , more to make and not to end lives..

and then we have New Moon. one would think that after he lost so many codes , he will be complete different- and he was.. for a short time, see someting I think when I ship em is that.. his system had to fill the holes left of ripping both KC and Eclipse out.. what ever that fill was had to be something related to it.

so say- killing coded? wshat about caring code? , now, anger and lust? what about calmness and self love?

is why he connected so well with Solar, not only is the only person he bonded in the most natural way, someone who didnt had that "you used to be" comment to give- but also someone who just connected so well- (because guess what! Solar is motly likely also a left over who needs other half to feel complete too!) so they like each other - not the romantic way- not the lust way (despite how I would love it)

is demi - ace love for the Win !! I see Moon as Demi, specially New Moon- and Solar too is someone who feels so Demi to me..
