I'll be honest, I don't totally get why some blogs are out here saying they need their followers to put their exact age in their bio? Like c'mon, I'm over 18, I'm over 21, and I'm not comfortable publicly posting my exact age. Someone says "I'm over 18" and you're like "well that's obviously a lie" but someone says "I'm 25" and you're like "well how could that possibly be a lie, nobody lies that specifically" lmao
BUT if you really want to be sure I'm not a minor, I'll tell you this: I grew up blowing on N64 cartridges even though the manual said not to do that. I caught up on Lost between seasons 2 and 3 through netflix by getting the rented DVDs mailed to me, and my mind was blown when they rolled out "instant queue" which let you watch shows on your laptop. I saw Mean Girls in theaters. I saw Zac Efron become a teenage heartthrob with Bieber hair before anyone had even heard of Bieber. Does that answer your question??
EDIT: Due to recent feedback I feel I need to clarify, I'm completely fine with telling you my exact age privately if that's a boundary for you! Just shoot me a quick message and I'll let you know. What I'm not cool with is publicly posting my age, because that's a boundary for me. If that doesn't work for you, welp, I'm afraid our boundaries are at odds. A bummer to be sure, but block if you've gotta block

Imelda Staunton Variety Interview
Tumblr media
Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II in The Crown Season 5. Photo: Keith Bernstein/Netflix
How were you cast? Did you audition or did the producers approach you?
I was asked to go and meet Peter, and met him. And he said, “Well, I want you to do this.” “Oh,” I said. “Are you sure?” And then that was that. That was back in June 2019.
Imelda, was it an instant yes for you, or was there any hesitation?
Of course it’s daunting, but you’re not going to say, “Oh, can you give me some time, I’m not sure.” Don’t mess around, of course I’m gonna do it! And then you go home and then you get frightened, and all that stuff happens in your own time.
How did you prepare for the role?
You [look at] footage, you do research, you read, you watch, you do all those things that are absolutely necessary and just steep yourself in that. I started working on her voice back in 2019, all those things that just slowly start cooking quietly. So it’s a long process. It would have been much more frightening if [the producers] had said, “Will you do it, and we start on Monday?” I think. So I had a lot of time.
Imelda, when you put on the costume, particularly if you were wearing a crown, did you find people reacting to you differently?
No, I didn’t notice that. But, again, I don’t imagine the Queen or the royal family notice it. I didn’t get to the front of the lunch queue, if that’s what you’re asking.
Were there any real-life royal episodes you were hoping Peter might write into the series for you to enact?
No. Because one knows that they can’t do everything because this is a sort of stock cube, if you like, of the last — whether it’s a decade or shorter than that, or slightly longer than that — so they can’t tick every single box. Also, Peter Morgan has obviously got a huge affection for this family having done the film “The Queen,” then “The Audience,” then “The Crown.” I don’t think he would have bothered to keep going if he wasn’t quite emotionally, I think, involved with it.
*The cast interview was published by Variety on Oct 27, 2022. Read the article here. The Crown season 5 premiere Nov 9! ♚

throwing letters at you for the tv show moments! BTVS and JATP please 💖
i love letters! i particularly love combinations of letters that signify my favorite shows!
btvs - the spuffy scene in the church in 'beneath you' for how much POETRY is going on there. the way the scene makes me dizzy, while i try to reckon with the full brilliance of one line i am punched in the face less than a second later by an even more brilliant line. i should be so lucky to ever write something so breathtaking and Heady.
jatp - the entirety of the 'bright' performance!! it's been the show's preview on netflix for a bit now (the way the 'watch again' queue is always one of the first categories netflix offers me; it has learned my patterns too well aNYWAY) and i stop and watch every single time because there's so much joy packed into the number. none of the bitter-sweetness of 'stand tall,' none of the juicy relationship drama of 'edge of great' - just pure, unbridled FATED BANDMATES feels. them discovering how much fun it is to perform together, the instant clickage. julie finding her love of performing again, luke realizing he doesn't have to give that up in this weird half-life in which he finds himself. the energy of it is unmatched for me, instant serotonin.
Send me a show, and I will tell you a specific moment from that show that I love with all my heart.

You're jealous?
I suck with titles, someone please help 🤦🏽‍♀️
hiii, can I request an imagine were Dick and reader are in a relationship and he’s jealous and doesn’t wanna talk to her and she keeps asking him wats wrong, kinda suggestive if you feel comfortable (sorry for my english) in the Netflix show world please, love your writing
This have been on the queue for ages!! Sorry for the wait, hope you like it @wintercapilson 💕
Note: Okay so I made Hank a little bit ooc to made him annoy Dick so yeah that
Warning: light smut 🤙🏽
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There was no doubt that the tension filled the room and it was making you annoyed. Far as you knew, Dick just wanted to start the day early and finish some undone paper work that has been accumulating, he wasn't fond of the idea, but your promise of keeping him company cheered him up a little bit.
"You're so clingy!" You teased him as you looked around the fridge for some food. " I can't believe it sometimes, you act so tough and bossy around others, but you're just a clingy boy..."
You smiled when you felt Dick's arms wrapping themselves in your waist, he rested his head in your shoulder and gave you a wet kiss on the cheek.
"Ew! You're gross, boy wonder." You cleaned your cheek with the back of your hand, Dick laughs just made you punching him jokingly in his bicep.
"I like that nickname..." he chuckled, leaning in the counter as he took his cup of coffee.
"Morning everyone" that husky voice was the one who changed the light atmosphere of the morning. Hank was half asleep, his bed hair proved that.
He walked up to you and grabbed a cup from the upper cabinet, as he took one of the cups he looked at you from an instant." You look good today, (y/n)" he blurted out casually, totally oblivious to his Dick's sly gaze.
"Thank you Hank, that's so nice of you!" You shrugged off his compliment, offering him a smile while Dick was frowning.
This scene was stupid and he just didn't liked it. Was he exaggerating? Maybe, but living this kind of thing every day was starting to get on his nerves. You see, you both had this type of relationship were you flirted with each other shamelessly.
It started with small touches, then it become compliments and then suggestive jokes. It didn't matter to him if Hank was just trying to be funny or if you really didn't pay attention to it, he was about to throw hands with the king of comedy if he didn't stop.
Dick watched carefully the way Hank looked at you with a stupid grin on his face."You know, " Hank sipped from his cup, gazing at Dick from a brief moment, knowing what he will say would cause him to lose it.
"We would make a great couple; I mean you're a gorgeous girl and I'm pretty handsome, we would be a power couple without doubt." That sentence just made Dick roll his eyes so hard that his eyes almost got stuck in his skull. It was too much, everything about this was making him mad and to make it worse you laugh! What the fuck was that?
He was about to walk up to him, you noticed to quick change on your boyfriend behavior. The way he looked at Hank like he was about to stab him, his stiff posture, too different from what he was like a few minutes ago.
Dick clenched his jaw, about to tell his friend to shut up and stay on his lane, but you were quicker." I'm sorry to tell you, but Dick and I are the ultimate power couple." you put your arm around his waist.
But not even that got him to calm down his nerves; Dick needed to step aside and cool down. This fiasco was causing him a headache. So he leaned into you and whispered in your ear he was going to finish the paperwork in your shared bedroom and with that he left.
Dick didn't liked to label himself as the "jealous type", it wasn't like he didn't let you have guy friends or be nice to other men, no. But that scene was too much and even after a couple of hours spent working on pile of files of resolved cases Dick could still feel the little rage that bubble inside of him.
He rubbed his tired eyes, maybe it was time to take a rest and set his mind on another thing.
He turned around at the sound of the door opening." You good, Dick?" He sighed, looking away as you entered the room with a concerned expression.
"Yeah, I'm fine." He spoke nonchalantly. You bited your lips for a few seconds, doubting if it was a good moment to confront him.
"Really? Cuz it didn't seem like that when we were in the kitchen..." you bought up the theme cautiously making Dick huff.
He sat on the and passed a band through his hair, already annoyed by this. "Well, maybe it's because Hank was flirting with you."
"We're just friends, Dick. It's no a big deal-"
"Don't come up with that." He interrupted you." I'm not comfortable seeing Hank touching you and talking to you like he was your boyfriend, okay? I don't like. And I'm totally fine if you two are friends, but that kind of shit just get on my nerves."
"So you're jealous?" You walked up to him, Dick gaze was serious. There were a few things that could trigger this man, but you never really believed that a thing like this could put him in such a bad mood." Hank just does that to mess with you, he told me himself."
Dick didn't even answer, for him that was still awful. "Don't get mad, you know you're the only one for me." He hummed, putting his hands at both side of your hips as you straddle him.
"Dick, you're the guy I really love, alright?" You put your arms around his neck, getting a bit closer." I like you with flaws and all." Dick smiled a little at your confession.
"Yeah?" He asked in a soft tone, breaking down slightly his serious posture. You nodded, before pecking his lips.
"Of course I do!" You said happily.
Dick broke the distance you had with a heated kiss, his grip on your hips got firmer. Maybe it was because the intensity of your make out that caused you to grind on him.
Dick got away from your lips to leave a trail of kisses that went from your neck to your shoulder, sucking and kissing the spot that connected them. "We should fuck." He suggested in a groan." The youngers aren't here so it won't be a problem."
"You want some revenge, don't you?" You giggled; whimpering slightly at the feeling his boner brushing against your pussy." I can't tell you no, babe...."

Great Advice from the Great Writers of The Great Courses
Tumblr media
Every year, we’re lucky to have great sponsors for our nonprofit events. Today, The Great Courses Plus—a video-on-demand service for lifelong learning—shares some advice from great writers they’ve partnered with. The Great Courses Plus is a NaNoWriMo 2020 sponsor.
The past few months have probably shown you a different world than the one you’re used to: outside your door, there’s less commuter traffic, fewer crowds waiting to be seated at the local eatery or queueing up for the opening of the latest movie, no kids chasing each other with sticks and screaming as they wait for school buses.
Inside your door, however, it’s a whole new world. That’s because your job, your school, your favorite restaurant, your movie theater… all of your outside worlds are now contained within the four walls you call home. And all that chaos is stuck inside with you. (We know. We live there, too.)
Even if you don’t have children, pets, or additional adults going stir crazy around you, 2020 has provided enough chaos on a daily basis that it’s almost impossible to focus on a five-word tweet, let alone commit to a 50,000-word novel. The positive side is that these distractions could turn into some pretty fantastic book fodder. But of course, sitting down and writing about this hectic time while still in the midst of it? Well, that’s a completely different story.
To help out, we turned to some of our favorite writing professors to see what they are doing to get themselves through these trying times:
Jennifer Cognard-Black
Becoming a Great Essayist;  Great American Short Stories: A Guide for Readers and Writers
Remember when your biggest frustration was carving out some time to write? And yet now, when so many of our usual commitments and pleasures have been stripped away, the one thing many of us have is time. But how to harness this extra time—that is the question. It's just so seductive to try out yet another sourdough bread recipe or to binge yet another show on Netflix. My advice? Engage in slowthink. Don't ask yourself, "Why am I not writing?" Instead, ask yourself, "What might I want to learn, to know, or to create?" During the Great Pause, I've been reading all of the millennial novels and memoirs about women and food that I can get my hands on, and I'm slowthinking my way through them. There's something there—I'm not sure what—that I want to write about myself, but since I don't yet know what that is, I'm just underlining striking phrases and making the occasional note in my writing journal. And that's okay; I'm relaxing my creative mind to see what bubbles up.
James Scott Bell
How to Write Best-Selling Fiction
Write tight. Don't think about the entire project, or how the world will receive your book once it's finished. Concentrate on the scene in front of you, beat by beat, emotion by emotion. Get lost in the action. Then your writing will become a respite as well as a passion. As Ray Bradbury once said, "You must stay drunk on writing so reality cannot destroy you."
James Hynes
Writing Great Fiction: Storytelling Tips and Techniques
During the pandemic, writing fiction has become my chief solace from the stress of quarantine (and everything else). I've found that active engagement with my current project—the creation of characters and scenes, or just tinkering with the prose—has calmed me much more than bingeing another series on HBO or eating too much (though I do those, too). And it's not just an escape: It's the place where I can take whatever I'm feeling at the moment and turn it into narrative.
Angus Fletcher
Screenwriting 101: Mastering the Art of Story
I have a little insight into this because my next book is about how literature of all kinds—novels, poems, films—can help improve our mental health and well-being.
And a tip that comes from literature, and that’s backed by neuroscience, is gratitude. Gratitude shifts our focus away from ourselves, and it also shifts our negative emotions, which interfere with writerly flow, into positive emotions, which boost it. Gratitude isn’t always easy to conjure in times like these, of course. But one useful method for accessing it is what psychologists’ term “reframing.”
So, for example, when your lovely children are interrupting you, causing you to lose your train of thought, and possibly your mind, take a moment to think: How wonderful it is that I’m a parent. How lucky I am to have these kids. Recall a specific moment—as precisely as you can—when your kids popped your life with joy or wonder. And in that instant, your stress will drop, your calm will increase, you’ll be more effective at figuring out an effective way to give the kids a way to amuse themselves, and you’ll be more ready to write when you return to your keyboard.
Or, when you’re suffering from writer’s block, think: How lucky it is that I don’t need to write this novel, because I have so many wonderful novels already on my bookshelf. Then, go read one of those novels, immersing yourself in its flow. And as you get deep into that flow, you’ll often feel your block dissolve, allowing you to return to your own writing with a fresh energy and perspective.
Not every negative emotion can be converted like this, of course. When we suffer grief, it can’t be reframed away. Our brains need time to process sorrow and heal. But a great many self-doubts and daily frictions can be softened with gratitude. And no matter what happens to you in your life, you can always feel grateful for being a writer. For whatever the happening is, no matter how hard or painful it may be, you have been gifted a pen to take that happening and make some good of it.
Advice from professional writers who are facing the same distractions and roadblocks you are can be helpful. And to make things better, The Great Courses Plus provides you with a wealth of resources to help you get through these weird times. Clear your mind with meditation, focus your thoughts with mindfulness, jumpstart your creativity with a “brain hack,” research the worlds and periods you’re writing about, learn to create a single great sentence—whatever you need, we have a course that will help.
Stay well and keep writing.

The magic that mobile apps like Uber and Zomato created in a few years was just the beginning of the humongous on-demand economy. This concept of serving the customers instantly on-demand, at the location they desire, has made both- consumers and the business world go crazy. The on-demand economy is the talk of the town and there is a lot to say about it.
So, what exactly is the on-demand economy? What are the advantages of on-demand apps? How to go about on-demand app development? Are there any challenges too? All such questions will be answered here. So, keep reading ahead.
What is On-demand Economy and an On-demand App?
As the name suggests, the on-demand economy is the trend or the working model, in which the designed apps or services cater to the requirements of the target consumers, either instantly or as soon as possible, at their doorsteps or any other desired location. The goal of this trend is to offer instant products/services to the end-users.
The apps designed for this purpose have the necessary features like location tracking, profile creation, sending notifications, wish-listing the items, seamless search options, flexible payment options, etc., and they are referred to as on-demand applications.
Today, there are a plethora of on-demand apps available in the market which serve a diverse variety of end-users. To name a few popular on-demand applications- Netflix app in the entertainment industry, Airbnb in the hotel booking domain, TaskRabbit when it comes to carrying out household chores, Phlex65 for caregivers to provide day-to-day care services to older people, BloomThat to gift your loved ones with flowers, etc. Hundreds of such apps have been fabricated already, belonging to sectors like food and restaurant, grocery, travel and transportation, health and fitness, salon and beauty, home care services, and much more.
Why On-demand Apps are so Popular?
“I have to complete this critical work today and so, won’t be able to cook. Can we order the dinner?”
“I need to reach there ASAP and public transport will take a lot of time for sure. Let me immediately book a cab.”
“There is no grocery at home and I have a tight work schedule this week. I will better order the grocery online.”
“Today is my nephew’s birthday and it completely went out of my mind to buy a gift for him. I will order a cake and a pizza for him in the evening.”
We all may have gone through such instances owing to our fast-moving busy lives. Thanks to the on-demand apps that we can rely on them for our daily needs and don’t need to spend several hours on them. This trend is commonly observed in the urban areas, however, they are gradually spreading to the rural areas too.
So what are the top reasons behind the popularity of on-demand services?
Tumblr media
Convenience of getting the services at home
On-the-go services
Advanced technology that millennials love
Order tracking with real-time updates
Easy ordering, re-ordering, cancellation of orders
Saving of time and efforts
Branded products at reasonable prices
Ease of accessing the apps
Availability of offers and discounts
Wide range of products and services as compared to live stores
No need to carry cash or stand in long queues
Why Businesses Prefer Services of On-demand App Development?
We now know why the consumers are so much into leveraging the on-demand app services. But why business entities are picking this on-demand business model? First, let’s look at some statistics.
Well, as per a survey report by Burson-Marsteller, 51% of on-demand service providers said that after entering into this business trend, their financial condition has comparatively strengthened.
Another estimation by Burson-Marsteller forecasts that almost 64% of the companies providing on-demand services say that they are expecting their financial profitability to improve sooner or later.
Besides, here are the key reasons why a large number of start-ups, small and large business entities, and even giants are choosing to build top-notch on-demand mobile applications.
Countless business opportunities
Suitable for diverse industry verticals
One-time investment for a long-term solution
Competitive benefit
Cost-effective solution
Improved online presence and brand awareness
There are a few other reasons why so many firms prefer this business model and why there is a rise in the number of on-demand companies worldwide. Please click here and read the post for a deeper insight into this.
How to go About On-demand App Development?
There isn’t any hidden formula to architect an out-of-the-box on-demand service app, however, you need to keep some vital tips in mind; they are given below:
Your app idea or concept must be unique and different from those already existing in the market.
You must ensure that you take the right guidance from expert professionals for making your project a success.
Your team or your on-demand app development partner must possess appropriate in-depth industry knowledge and experience.
You must design a practical and smart marketing strategy for improving the overall outcome.
Besides these tips, here is an extensive write-up on “How to Develop a Next-gen On-demand App?” for you. Do have a look.
Notable Challenges Affecting the On-demand Business Sector
The on-demand business model has a huge potential. But there are certain challenges that this industry is already facing and may face in the future.
Firstly, the overall revenue generation has been impacted owing to high consumer demand and related operational costs, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Besides, a high rate of delivery agent turnover is one of the prime factors affecting this domain. The pay of the delivery agents is much higher.
Also, some other challenges that impact the on-demand business sector are product incompetence, high competition, inefficient resources, under/over-valuing of supply and demand, etc.
However, with an exceptional concept for your app, robust technological strategies and enhancements, a proper development plan, and apt guidance, these challenges can be overcome to a great extent.
Final Thoughts
If you are a startup and want to begin your app development journey with an on-demand app, then without any doubt, you must go with this idea. This is so because the on-demand economy is booming at a fast pace and there is a huge scope for on-demand app-based services altogether. Such apps and services have a large user-base and they can be designed at a budget-friendly price. So, it is high time to leverage this opportunity and see how your innovative on-demand app will take the world by storm.

L’île de l’amour.
Chapitre 3
Marshall repartit tous sourire.
-Quoi? Tu as baiser Marshall Syverson et tu ne me l’as pas dit? Comment tu as pu me faire ça?
Tu y vas ! Tu te mets sexy pis tu y vas! Va manger sa grosse queue!
Rosie rougit.
-Bon dieu Rosie… La jeune femme se releva toute rose. Marshall passa la main dans ses cheveux. Elle but une gorgée d’eau.
-Viens ici belle coquine.
-Vraiment? Tu veux me revoir?
-Fantastique, gourmand, cochon? Tu as mon numéro.
-Tu veux me présenter à ta famille?
-Oui, pourquoi pas? On est bien ensemble non?
Rosie cligna des yeux plusieurs fois.
-D’accord.
« D’accord. Ralentissons un peu. »

Note
1) What's your name? 2) What's your favourite non She-Ra show? 3) Is it just you behind this blog or are there others?
1) Any variation of my full forename will do. I’ve gone by Alex, Lex, Lexa, Alexa, and even Xan a few times. I don’t really mind. Call me whatever you want. A cool nickname, “bitch”, I’ll respond.
2) Four In A Bed Probably B99 for currently airing shows, Buffy for previously aired shows. I’ll be honest I mostly watch youtube over actual TV. Only watch horror movies on Prime, and I’ve only got Netflix for screenshots for the blog and occasional Black Mirror episodes now TGP is over.
3) It’s just me :) I send a few of my friends the posts over discord before I queue them here so I can get some Fresh Instant Validation, and I’ve got a few submissions, but it’s just me and my Photoshop behind the screen. Which is why I’ve missed some days.

The most effective iPad Apps - Netflix TV Show plus Movie Streaming App
The Netflix iPad app is one of the best iPad apps available today and was among the iPad's very first killer apps released last April. Netflix subscribers can instantly watch television shows and movies that are streamed from Netflix for the Apple iPad using the free Netflix app. It performs as magically as it appears. The Netflix app has always provided the capacity to start watching precisely where you left off on your Computer or TV using the iPad as the Netflix cloud-based streaming solution inherently provides that ability. The iPad app additionally comes with a pop-up window with a thorough description and picture on the DVD jacket for pictures and TV shows subscribers are interested in and wish to read more about also the opportunity to rate TV shows and movies you watched. You are able to look for articles, browse by category, check your bank account and viewpoint and handle your queues. The interface appears identical to the Netflix internet site. Besides the essential characteristics, the Netflix iPad app has upgraded features since initially being released last April. When the iPad was first released, just Apple apps provided help for an external monitor hookup but shortly after launch, the Netflix app put in this operation giving subscribers the potential to use the iPod Dock Connector to VGA Adapter to view Netflix on a television, monitor, projector or maybe LCD display that can consume a VGA cable. Recommended--> : a lire ici Streaming TV shows and movies to a handheld tablet? Can that probable work? This seemingly Star Trek ish technology does work and is beneficial. Once you enter the Netflix account information of yours into the Netflix app, you have full access to your Netflix account. When you click "Play" on a television show or perhaps movie, the real magic begins as within mere seconds the video content kicks off playing. The video generally comes across surprisingly well. You can do faster scrubs, pause and change aspect while observing the film. Also, in case you require screenshots of TV shows or perhaps movies, you are able to make use of the normal iOS screenshot method (holding on the Power button while clicking the "iPad button". The Netflix app does encounter issues when the network back link is slow leading to the audio and video to freeze or audio to disappear. Much more recently there are actually difficulties with the Netflix streaming servers as you can find a lot more adopters of the instant streaming service. Even with these small issues that arise infrequently, the Netflix instant streaming service plus the Netflix app combined with the iPad create a killer iPad app and is the main reason the Netflix iPad app is among the most effective iPad apps out there.

TobiDei for the ask please ^_^
Congratulations on being the first one to submit TobiDei! You get a gift! I don’t know what it is, but I guess you can ask for anything (writing-related)?
Who’s more dominant: Deidara in the streets, Obito in the sheets.
Who’s the cuddler: Tobi, definitely. Deidara pretends to hate it, but you know loves it.
Who’s the big spoon/little spoon: Obito is the big spoon and Deidara is the little one.
What’s their favorite non-sexual activity: Lighting sparklers and setting off fireworks! Tobi didn’t find the appeal at first but Deidara’s passion for it and made Tobi fall in love with it.
Who uses all the hot water: Deidara. I don’t think Obito likes to shower long.
Most trivial thing they fight over: Where they are going to eat for lunch/dinner. Obito doesn’t necessarily need to eat and Deidara has no desire to say what he really wants.
Who does most of the cleaning: Deidara. Tobi doesn’t care.
What has a season pass on their DVR/Who controls the Netflix queue: They don’t watch any of this.
Who calls up the super/landlord when the heat’s not working: Deidara. Tobi doesn’t feel cold so he wouldn’t even notice.
Who leaves their stuff around: Actually, Deidara, because Obito doesn’t own a lot. Deidara cleans the most because he makes the most mess.
Who remembers to buy the milk: Tobi! Deidara always says he will buy it but ends up forgetting.
Who remembers anniversaries: Both of them. Obito because he’s never liked someone that much before. Deidara because life’s short and he wants to make the most of it.
Who cooks normally: Neither of them. Let’s face it, the last time Obito ate was when he was a teenager and he lived with his grandmother. Who do you think did the cooking around that house? And Deidara, he’ll probably say he doesn’t have the time to cook so he’ll fry an egg on top of his instant ramen and call it gourmet. Overall, though, Deidara is a better cook.
How often do they fight: They’d banter a lot, but full-blown fights are not a thing for them. The only two things they’d fight about for real are Deidara’s suicide wet-dream and Obito’s insane world domination plan.
What do they do when they’re away from each other: Tobi would probably count the days until he gets to see Deidara again, but Deidara would definitely enjoy his alone time. As much as he appreciates Tobi being there for him, sometimes he just can’t stop being there for him. Mans needs some me-time.
Nicknames for each other: Dei-chan, baby, senpai, Tobi, and stupid (which is only okay when Deidara says it).
Who is more likely to pay for dinner: Obito. Deidara is not used to paying for anything.
Who steals the covers at night: Deidara. That guy’s been sleeping alone most of his life, so his body is just used to rolling all of the blankets to wrap himself up like a burrito. Obito is a blanket-kicker, his natural body heat probably makes him hate being wrapped up. It all evens out. Deidara does get concerned, though, and if he wakes up in the middle of the night to find the blanket all around him, he’ll cuddle close and cover Obito.
What would they get each other for gifts: Obito’d get flowers, they look nice and they don’t last long (like Deidara, har-har), or helpful knick-knacks that Deidara always needed but never bothered to get himself. Deidara will just buy food (dango), it’s the easiest way to a man’s heart. Sometimes, he’ll even bake some of his sculptures for Tobi to keep, but those are reserved for extra-special occasions.
Who kissed who first: Deidara kissed Tobi first, only because it was to “shut him up.”
Who made the first move: Tobi did. Deidara has no real experience when it comes to this stuff.
Who remembers things: Mostly Obito, but both of them remember things, especially if it has consequence.
Who started the relationship: Deidara. He’s impulsive. He definitely started it by off-handedly making a comment about their weird flirty banter with the original intent of insulting Tobi but ended up having to have a heart-to-heart instead.
Who cusses more: Deidara. Obito finds no need to cuss.
What would they do if the other one was hurt: Obito would apply immediate first-aid and then transport Deidara to the nearest professional and well-equipped medic. Deidara would hover, worried, and try to help. He’d make things a little worse and then Obito would fix himself up and reassure Deidara repeatedly the very same night that he is alright.
Who is the dirty talker: Obito. Deidara might be mouthy but he’s not word-savvy.
A headcanon: Uh, Deidara’s the one making mature decisions for the pair. Obito might not be completely immature but that doesn’t mean he’s responsible.

Movie Monday - July 20th, 2020
"First Netflix Streaming Movie"
Cashback (2006):
Tumblr media
In 2020 in the midst of COVID-19 it's funny to imagine quarantine without the ability to stream films and TV shows - almost unfathomable.
I easily take Netflix for granted as I spend hours skipping through catalogs of titles thinking there is absolutely nothing to watch.
Tumblr media
In 2008 it was a different story as I sat in my college living room on a janky 1970's flower printed polyester chair in front of 32" tube TV with a Dell laptop loaded with my sister's Netflix login credentials eager to begin my relationship.
Once connected I spent hours building a Instant Viewing Queue - I was cultivating a watchlist but at the same time choosing my "First" movie to stream. I wanted something I hadn't seen - some captivating, and upon digging I was met with two titles which piqued my interest:
Cashback and the documentary, Jesus Camp (2006)
Tumblr media
One is a British flick about a Love-Sick Insomniac that can Freeze Time and the other is about the Youth of America Speaking Tounges in North Dakota...
Tough Decision for a Saturday Afternoon.
I am extremly happy Cashback was my first - It was great sleeper of a film - I went in blind with no expectations and was fully satisfied by the credits roll. I still, to this day, recommend Cashback as a "check-it-out" movie.
After Cashback I then soon grabbed some refreshments and went back to my laptop for a viewing of Jesus Camp - which scared me a bit but did also open my eyes to more docs.
And that's how my streaming journey began with Netflix.
I definitely had a honeymoon phase and it gradually transitioned into the hills and valleys of love and hate. Not going to lie - I've looked at other streaming services but Netflix always finds a way to lure me back in (my current infatuation... The Last Dance).
Tumblr media
You only get one first - My Netflix Streaming First just so happened to feature a semi nude lady in the thumbnail and I will have to live with that for the rest of my life.

Dog Days of Summer- Ch 4
Tumblr media
Dog Days of Summer- Chris Evans X plus sized reader. Dog days of summer are usually defined as the hottest of the year, some define it as lazy days. This year ‘hottest’ has nothing to do with the outside temp. You meet Chris and Dodger Evans while taking your own dog to the park.
Previous Chapter / Master List
Warnings: Cursing, and fluff
Chapter 4
You woke up the next morning to a text from Chris, telling you he’s going to be a little late for your date today. He actually used the word ‘date’ and you knew he didn’t mean it like a ‘date’ date, but it still made you excited and happy. The fact that yesterday he had implied that this would be a daily activity, at least for the next little chunk of time, was mind boggling.
The morning was lazily spent around the house, working on your Netflix queue. He said he would be at your place around 1:30 and you made sure that you had your grocery list ready. There were only 4 items on the list of essentials, the rest you needed to pick up were for meals for yourself, and you would decide that as you walk around.
Popcorn had already been walked and you were sitting on the couch ready to go when a knock came from your door. Looking out the peephole you see Chris standing on the other side.
“How exactly did you get into the building?” You ask when you’ve got the door open. Leaving him at the doorway to get your wallet and list.
“A nice little old lady let me in. She said she liked the blue spandex.”
“Stellar security we have here.” You deadpan. “Also another use you found for fame, sneaking into my building.”
“What can I say? Old ladies love me.” He flashes a cocky smirk your way as the two of you step into the elevator. “Yourself included.”
“Hardy har har. Just remember that you will always be older than me.” Giving him back your own cocky smirk. “Even if you are prettier.”
He snorts, sliding up to you again, getting too close in the small space. “I would have to completely disagree with that.”
You give him a steady look, studying him for any hint of a joke or insincerity, but you found none. “I think you need a new mirror there buddy.” You scoff.
“Sorry crazy lady, you’re the one that needs to look again.” He walks out of the elevator backwards with this hands held out to the side, a shrug in his shoulders.
You just shook your head and followed him outside and down the sidewalk. Chris had brought his car this time, stating he didn’t want to have to carry grocery bags for blocks, which you agreed was a smart idea. You really needed to get a car for yourself, but with you not working, public transportation and walking wasn’t a problem.
Surprisingly, it wasn’t anything too fancy just a mid-range car that looked fairly newish. Once you were seated and buckled, Chris took off. The two of you had a nice little sandwich at a place right beside the grocery, before grabbing a cart and going in. Chris wasn’t dressed for discretion at all, just sunglasses like normal, but insisted when he got the cart in his hands to ride it down the aisles on the back. Narrowly missing one of the displays. You would have reprimanded him if you could stop laughing at his antics for even a minute.
“So what did you need?” You asked him, putting one of the items from your list in the cart.
He shrugs. “Snacks?”
“Snacks? That’s all you need?” He nods. “Why did you come all the way out here with me if you didn’t actually need anything?”
“It seemed fun.” He grinned at you. “Plus, your directionally challenged self would be lost without me. Literally.”
Rolling your eyes, you threw a bag of chips in the cart along with Chris. “I can use google maps you know. I just don’t have a good internal compass. Although I do like the car action, I might have to start using you for that. Grocery bags on the bus, not as fun as it looks.”
“And here I thought I was just a pretty decoration.” He chuckles. “Guess you want me for more than my spectacular face.”
“Of course. I already told you I’m here for your dog.” You bump Chris in the shoulder making the cart go a little off course.
“Hey watch it now. That was almost a big mess on our hands.” He scolds playfully.
“I wasn’t the one riding the cart up and down the aisles like I’m twelve.” You scoff at him.
He just shrugs, getting back on the cart and riding it the rest of the way.
The two of you were loaded down with bags as you made your way from the car to the apartment. Both of you were too stubborn and determined to make only one trip. Chris was laden down with double the amount that you carried and you couldn’t help but stare at his biceps bulging on the elevator ride up.
“Take a picture it will last longer.”
You groan at his lameness. “Really? Am I supposed to dignify that cheesiness with a response?”
“I’m not the one who was caught staring.” He tells you, taking another bag from you so you can get the key in the lock.
“You make it impossible not to, so again, not my fault.” Opening the door, Popcorn comes running up, jumping on your leg and yipping happily.
“Wow, look who has energy today.” Chris comments, moving to the kitchen.
“Hey buddy, give me a sec ok?” You tell your dog before responding to Chris. “It’s the one time he’s not a lazy little shit. When I come home he goes crazy for about ten minutes then calms down and sleeps.” You go to the kitchen, the dog carefully avoiding your steps in a practiced routine. Heaving your bags on the counter, you start to go through them, your dog prancing impatiently for you to get done and give him attention. Chris helps out putting the cold and frozen things in the refrigerator. “Ok fine.” You tell Popcorn and sit on the couch. He immediately leaps into your lap, completely disregarding the steps, and is making happy whining noises and licking your face. You pet him and give him attention until he finally calms down and lays beside you. Looking up, you see Chris with his phone out, having filmed the whole thing. “This better not end up on Twitter.”
“Why not? Besides I needed video evidence that he does move that fast.” He stops the recording and puts the phone away.
Getting back up to finish putting away the groceries, “I don’t want to go viral is why.”
The smile on his face falls. “Then you shouldn’t hang out with me.”
“Chris that wasn’t what I meant. I don’t actually care, I knew what I was getting into.” You place the cereal in the cabinet while talking. “I would be more worried about your reputation. If you get seen with the same woman over and over again, they’ll think we’re dating.” You laugh putting away more items, actively not looking at him.
“That would be a shame.” He sighs out, settling his hands on his hips. “Especially since I hadn’t officially asked you out yet.”
The box of instant mac and cheese, that had been in your hand, clatters loudly to the countertop, as you freeze in place. You let out a nervous giggle after a moment, turning to face him. “Ya got me, shocked me silly, but don’t do it again. What if I had something breakable in my hand.” Your eyes not meeting his as you grab another item from the grocery bags.
He stops you with a hand on yours. “I’m not joking.” The seriousness of his voice makes you look up to his baby blues, catching his eye and drowning. You feel numb, like everything is running in slow motion and the air has turned thick like molasses, not being able to hear clearly what Chris is saying.
“What?” You ask dumbly.
“I said I wanted to date you. I know it’s a little soon, and I wasn’t going to bring it up right away, especially with you just gotten out of a serious relationship. I didn’t want to be rebound guy.” He takes your hand in his, rubbing your fingers soothingly. “Realized I was attracted to you yesterday, didn’t know how or when to bring it up. This seemed like a good opportunity.” He shrugged. “You don’t have to give me an answer now, figured we could still get use to each other. I know there is a lot to consider with my job and all, but I do want to get to know you better and hopefully we can be more than just friends.”
You blink at him slowly, taking it all in. Once, twice, the third time the world comes rushing back and all the ambient noise of the city seems way too loud. You try to swallow but nothing goes down as your mouth is too dry. Panic sets in as you try to think what to say. The options that run through it at high speed are, ‘Hell yes!’, ‘WTF are you crazy?!’, ‘I think I’m gonna die from shock.’, ‘Seriously are you crazy?’, ‘I’m totally not ready for this, this soon.’, ‘You can tell me if you’re crazy.’, but what ends up coming out is. “Do you want to stay for dinner?”
He could see your brain working overtime as you try to wrap your head around what just happened. He didn’t think he had been very subtle about his intentions, his sister picking it up before even he did. It made him smile that the thing you landed on was that you wanted more time with him. No screaming, no outright rejection, just a calm question that showed him how you would think it over carefully. He did wish you would act a little more excited though, you had never been hard to read before. “I’d love to.” He answers. You just nod and pull away to finish up clearing the counter of bags.
Opening the fridge you let the cool air clear your head a bit, on the pretense you are looking for dinner options. You know you bought several days worth of meals, but right now you can’t think of any.
“You saw everything I bought.” You pull a bottle of water from the fridge and take a sip. “Anything of that you could eat?”
He looks around and see the package of seasoning mix that is still on the counter. “I could go for this? If you bought enough stuff.” Holding up the fajita mix packet.
“Yeah, chicken is what I got for it.”
“Sounds good.”
“It won’t take long to fix so we have a couple hours to kill.” Holding a hand out to the couch. “Wanna watch something?”
Chris looks at his watch. “It’s actually time for Dodger’s walk, I wasn’t expecting to stay out most of the night. Do you mind if I get him and bring him here? When I’m home I don’t like leaving him alone a lot.”
“Yeah, no that’s fine.”
“I’ll be back in a bit.” He tells you walking out the door.
“Ok, see ya later.” Calling out as he walks to the elevator. When you close your door, the squeal that comes out seems unnatural and Popcorn, who’s been lounging on the couch, pops his head up startled. You jump when the door behind you opens again, Chris standing on the other side. “Did..uh..did you forget something?” You pray he didn’t hear the high pitched noise.
“I did.” He smirks, leaning down and placing a quick kiss to your cheek. “Bye.” He waves as he closes the door behind him and leaving you standing in the living room with your own hand pressed over the spot.
Next Chapter
So this is the last chapter I have finished of this. Hopefully I’ll be able to write again soon. Next week will be I’m not her, so look forward to that getting more interesting.

#2. “at my worst, i worry you’ll realize you deserve better. at my best, i worry you won’t. (i’ve never been better.)”
Johnny is flipping through his Netflix queue when the doorbell rings, trying to decide between starting a movie or watching all of Parks & Rec again. He jumps off Peter’s lumpy couch and hurries across the living room, grabbing his wallet off the coffee table as he goes. “Finally,” he mutters, as he undoes the latches on the door. “You know, technically this pizza should be free since it took you way longer than thirty minutes to–”
He freezes. Mary Jane Watson is standing in the hall, worrying at the ends of her scarf. They blink at each other for a moment. Johnny opens his mouth, then closes it again. “You’re…not Domino’s.”
Mary Jane’s lips twitch. “No. Sorry.” She coughs. “Is Peter home?”
Johnny’s throat goes dry. Of course she’s here for Peter, at Peter’s apartment. “No, sorry, he went out to pick up beer.”
“Oh,” Mary Jane says.
Johnny abruptly remembers his manners and hastily steps aside. “Shit, sorry, you can come in and wait for him until–”
“No, no.” Mary Jane’s eyes flick from the dimmed living room lights to the chocolate lava cakes Johnny just pulled out of the oven, cooling on the countertop. “I don’t want to bother you guys. I just…” Her fingers twist together. “Can you tell him I stopped by?”
Something condenses in Johnny’s stomach, cold and hard. “Of course,” he says. His mouth feels numb.
“Thanks.” Mary Jane flashes him a smile. Even as small as it is, it’s radiant. It’s so easy to see why Peter loved her so much. “Have a good night, Johnny.”
Johnny lifts a hand. “Bye, MJ.”
“Get on your feet…get up and make it happen…”
Peter laughs so hard he doubles over. One of his hands lands on Johnny’s thigh, rough and warm through the thin fabric of Johnny’s sweatpants. “Oh god,” he wheezes, swiping at his eyes with his other hand. “Am I still a badass if I just peed myself a little?”
Johnny scoffs and kicks at him. “You implying you were ever a badass is laughable at best.”
Peter grins at him, big brown eyes crinkling in the light of the television. Johnny’s heart leaps and twists in his chest, the traitor. The smile fades a little from Peter’s mouth. “What’s up?” he asks. His voice is soft, the way it gets whenever he thinks Johnny is upset. Johnny hates and loves him for it at the same time. “You usually roll on the floor for this episode.”
Johnny swallows, eyes fixed on the screen. He knots his fingers in the bottom of his sweatshirt. It’s Peter’s, from his ESU days; he always wears it whenever he spends the night at Peter’s apartment. It’s worn and soft, a little broad across the shoulders, and carries the comfortingly chalky smell of web fluid. Just like Peter. “Have youhave you told your friends about us?”
The “us” is still new—not the two of them together, because that’s been going strong for thirteen years, but…the two of them, together. Sometimes it feels like nothing’s changed, and Peter is still Johnny’s best friend, who drives him up the wall, and is the bravest person he knows. Other times, it feels like nothing will ever be the same, and if Johnny breathes wrong, it’ll all shatter at his feet.
Peter frowns, sitting up. His hand leaves Johnny’s thigh; Johnny misses the warmth. “I—I haven’t, no,” he says; then, quickly, “Not that I don’t want to. It’s just…I mean, this, us, it’s so new, right? And MJ and Flash know about me, but Harry still thinks it’s weird we even know each other, so I…” He trails off, brow furrowing. His mouth twists in that kind of half-concerned, half-confused way that always makes Johnny want to kiss him. “Do you—I mean, do you want me to? Tell them?”
Johnny looks at him: Hair tousled, creases under his eyes, sprawled half on the couch and half on Johnny’s lap because he’s never been able to keep his limbs to himself. Johnny loves him so much his insides ache with it. “No,” he says. It comes out almost in a whisper. “No, I—it’s okay.” He turns back to the TV. “Oh, I love this episode. It’s got Paul Rudd in it.”
Johnny watches the episode, and Peter watches Johnny, the frown lingering on his face.
—-
Johnny has always known that Peter was touchy—having Peter pressed up against him so often during their teenage years made puberty very interesting—but Peter in bed is another thing altogether. It’s four in the morning, half of the sheets have been kicked to the floor, and Peter is sprawled over Johnny like an octopus with boundary issues, one arm thrown over Johnny’s waist, his knees knocking into Peter’s legs. Normally Johnny loves it—there’ll never be any part of him that doesn’t like being touched by Peter Parker—but right now, combined with the weight that’s been sitting on his chest all evening, he feels like he can’t breathe.
Peter stirs and groans, nosing forward blindly in the dark until his lips meet Johnny’s neck. “Hey,” he mumbles, raspy and muffled. Johnny’s chest swells with so much affection it’s a little embarrassing. He can just imagine Ben now, sniping at him for being whipped. “Y’re thinking too loud. Iss keeping me up.”
“Sorry,” Johnny whispers.
Peter sits up. His hair is sticking up about ten different directions, and his eyes are heavy with sleep. He touches his fingers to Johnny’s cheek. “Babe,” he says. “What is it? What’s wrong?”
Johnny swallows. He sits up, too, curling his knees to his chest. “Mary Jane stopped by today.”
Peter blinks, rapidly, awake in an instant. “What? When?”
“When you were out getting beer,” Johnny said. “She asked me to tell you she’d come to see you.”
“Shit,” Peter says. He fumbles for his phone where it’s plugged in on his nightstand. “Why did you wait so long to say something? Fuck, I hope nothing’s wrong—the last time MJ asked for my help, some creep was stalking her and sending her all these really explicit Photoshops…”
Peter trails off. Johnny stares at his knees, shoulders up around his ears. “Johnny,” Peter says. “Why did you wait so long to say something?”
Johnny swallows around the knot in his throat. God, he’s such a piece of shit. What if something really is wrong, and Mary Jane does need Peter’s help? And he just let her walk away without so much as a No, really, come inside, Peter will be back any minute. He opens his mouth, ready to blurt out some subpar excuse that will only make him seem like even more of an asshole—only what comes out instead, because he is actually the biggest dipshit on earth, is, “What if she wants to get back together with you?”
Johnny freezes. Peter freezes. An excruciating moment of silence stretches between them. Christ almighty, says the Ben inside Johnny’s head. Ya really know howta stick yer foot in it, don’t you, Storm?
“I—” Peter’s mouth is open, eyes wide. “Is that what she said?”
The words go through Johnny like a bullet. He wrenches himself away from Peter’s side and fumbles for his discarded jeans on the floor, eyes burning. “Wait!” Peter groans, loud, even as he dives forward and latches onto Johnny’s wrist. “Torch. Stop. That’s not what I meant—”
“It’s fine,” Johnny snaps back, thick. He tries to yank his hand out of Peter’s grip, but Peter’s strength makes it so that unless he’s actively thinking about letting Johnny go, Johnny doesn’t stand a chance. Right now giving Johnny the leeway to run for his life doesn’t seem to be top among Peter’s priorities, so Johnny stays put, anchored to Peter’s bed. “I just—I should go—”
“Johnny. Don’t be an idiot.” Peter tugs, guiding Johnny back onto the bed. He hooks his hands around Johnny’s thighs and hauls him closer, then looks Johnny in the eyes, all fierce earnestness. “I only asked because I could never imagine that actually happening, okay? Because MJ would never. And even if she wanted to, it’s not a conversation we would be having, because, well.” He lifts a hand and curls it around the back of Johnny’s neck, gaze dropping to Johnny’s lips. “I’m kind of taken with someone else at the moment, unfortunately.”
The tight line of Johnny’s mouth cracks, just a little. “‘Unfortunately’?”
Peter rolls his eyes. “Yeah, well, he’s kind of an idiot, but he’s crazy hot, so. Worth it.”
Johnny grins, then, and lets Peter guide their foreheads together. He breathes out, shaky and low. “Sorry.”
“Hey, don’t.” Peter’s thumb rubs circles in the nape of his neck. “Can I pick your brain, though? Why did you ask me that? I thought we were—I mean, I thought this was going well.”
Johnny closes his eyes. “It is,” he says. “It’s just…” He sucks in a breath. Here goes. “Sometimes, I—I worry you’ll realize you deserve better than me.”
This time, the silence stretches on for so long that Johnny cracks an eye open. Peter is staring at him with something akin to horror. Johnny’s stomach plummets. “Sorry,” he groans. “I know it’s stupid—”
Peter’s grip on him tightens, suddenly enough to make Johnny yelp a little. “Johnny, listen to me,” he says, so much more serious than Johnny is used to hearing him. “I don’t deserve better than you, because that doesn’t exist, okay? You’re as good as it gets, baby. I don’t even know how I got here. Maybe god or whoever is rewarding me for getting thrown through like, ten million buildings since I was fifteen, and I’ll take it, you know? The CTE I’ll eventually have to look forward to is definitely worth having the hottest, bravest, stupidest hero in New York as my—”
“Okay, stop,” Johnny laughs. Peter’s eyes crinkle, victorious. “You’re so bad at this. How have you dated like, five supermodels?”
“Charming good looks and pure dumb luck, baby,” Peter coos. He wraps his arms around Johnny until they’re pretty much just hugging on top of the covers, and Johnny’s sure they look like a pair of complete morons, but he’s never felt lighter in his life. “You know that I really, really, really like you, right, Sparky?”
Johnny smiles into Peter’s neck. “You’re alright, I guess.”
Peter laughs. “Are you going to freak out again if I call MJ back?”
Johnny pushes at Peter’s chest. Peter lets him, falling back against the pillows with a huff, and Johnny swings his legs over to straddle Peter’s hips. “I can think of a few ways you can make it up to me.”
Peter waggles his eyebrows as he slides his palms around Johnny’s waist. “I think I can live with that.”

Netflix Movie Rental Review - Online Movies
Netflix has been around for many years. It is possible that you have tried it and that you have loved the unlimited rentals sent to your mailbox. I have been a part for three years, and I like it. However, I am more excited about the new service they are offering. Netflix has listened to its customers and currently offers a program that allows you to download unlimited movies to your TV for only $ 9.99 per month. This is a new technology, and Netflix may be the only business that provides this service. Imagine being in a position to watch almost any movie at any time, as long as you are part of Netflix. You will not have to wait for your movie by mail. There is a converter box that you can buy called Roku. It costs approximately ninety-nine dollars.
Tumblr media
Or maybe you can buy an LG BD300 Network Blu-ray player that also allows Netflix members to stream more than 12,000 TV and standard definition movies through the unit without any additional increase for their monthly paid subscriptions. Members will use the Netflix site to add TV or movies for their specific instant queues. Movies will begin to play in just thirty seconds when selected on the TV, where consumers can browse, rate movies, read the synopsis, make selections and advance/rewind video channels with the BD300's remote control.
Also, you will have the option to use your XBOX 360 to stream Netflix movies. This requires an Xbox LIVE Gold program and any unlimited Netflix plan. All this for only $ 9.99 a month. The Roku can be obtained to work with today. The Blu Ray program and the XBOX participants will be available in September.
You will be ready to broadcast movies immediately and request movies by mail, all for the same rate every month. In case you compare Netflix with Blockbuster or maybe some additional movie rental service, you will see that Netflix stays in touch with the technology and, at the same time, has the lowest price in memberships.
