Round 1: Match 13

Onto the final quarter and we've got a couple of blue Balls to choose between!

The Jet Ball is the final Hisuian Ball in the contest, and it's a good one! It has one of the most intricate designs of any Ball, and the wings it are very fitting indeed for how far this Ball flies when it's thrown! Used for catching those Pokémon in Hisui that fly far out of reach for normal Balls, and when it does it has a very respectable 2.75x catch modifier- tied for the highest catch modifier available in Legends Arceus. Otherwise, it still has a 2x modifier, the third highest modifier in Hisui for regular Balls. A unique Ball in design and function, will it fly to Round 2?

The Net Ball used to be a specialty of Mossdeep City, and it makes sense for an island city to make a Ball so well suited to the water! As you'd expect, the Net Ball is designed for Water and Bug Types, and it's very good at what it does. It has a 3.5x catch multiplier on any Pokémon of those types, buffed from 3x in Generations 3 to 6- and this accounts for a little under 25% of all Pokémon! For the remaining 3/4, it has the standard 1x, but can you complain when it has such a wide selection of Pokémon available to catch with such a solid multiplier?

Why the great ball is the best ball, aesthetics wise

Okay so besides the whole matching colors of the ball and Kiki, we also have the fact that it’s one of the coolest balls. It’s literally, one on the only poke balls to have an unusual shape. Not only that, but the increased catch rate and the lower price allows it to be more accessible.

Continuing on, I have determined that the second best pokeball is the net ball, because it feels nice.

༄ Yuji’s body fat percentage is in the single digits, but it looks like for whatever reason, he still wants to get more ripped. So he asked the gym shirt guy from the last mission, for his secret. (Look at Nobara’s reaction, she’s so done with him.)

༄ Asking him that, in the middle of a mission is something only he would do. Look at him asking Tengen why they looked like that when everyone was discussing their plans for the culling games. (And nice, now we have Megumi’s reaction.)

༄ Anyway, I think that scene is a good way to show us that, even after everything Yuji’s been through, he’s still just a normal teenager, who cares about the things a guy his age usually would. I mean…he’s only trying to look his best/strongest for himself and obviously for a certain someone. Not gonna say any names…but come on now, we know exactly who.

༄ It’s Mr. “If it comes down to a brawl without cursed energy involved, Itadori would win.” (While he stares at the camera like we’re the ones who called Yuji weak or something.)

༄ And Mr. “That's really more his style.” (Right before Yuji throws a whole ass car?!?!)
