How Premium Flavors Are Added To Coffee Beans
Coffee is a complex and dynamic beverage with a rich history and culture. Today, coffee is enjoyed by millions of people around the world, and the demand for high-quality and unique coffee is ever-increasing. One of the ways that coffee roasters and producers differentiate their products is by adding premium flavors to coffee beans. In this article, we will explore how premium flavors are added to coffee beans, and the different methods and techniques that are used to achieve this.
Before we delve into the details of how premium flavors are added to coffee beans, it is important to understand what we mean by premium flavors. Premium flavors refer to any flavors or aromas that are added to coffee beans, which are not naturally present in the beans themselves. These can include flavors such as vanilla, caramel, hazelnut, chocolate, and fruit, among others. The addition of premium flavors to coffee beans can be done in a number of ways, including through the use of natural and artificial flavorings, as well as through the infusion of coffee beans with other ingredients.
One of the most common methods used to add premium flavors to coffee beans is through the use of natural and artificial flavorings. Natural flavorings are derived from natural sources such as plants, fruits, and spices, while artificial flavorings are chemically synthesized to mimic natural flavors. The use of natural and artificial flavorings in coffee is regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other regulatory bodies around the world.
The process of adding natural and artificial flavorings to coffee beans can be done during the roasting process or after the beans have been roasted. During the roasting process, the coffee beans are heated at high temperatures, which can cause some of the natural flavors and aromas to evaporate. To combat this, roasters can add natural or artificial flavorings to the coffee beans before or during the roasting process to enhance or replace the lost flavors and aromas. This can be done through the use of flavored oils, which are added to the coffee beans either before or after the roasting process.
Another method used to add premium flavors to coffee beans is through the infusion of coffee beans with other ingredients. Infused coffee beans are typically created by adding other ingredients such as herbs, spices, and fruits to the coffee beans during or after the roasting process. The infusion process involves steeping the coffee beans in the infused liquid or coating the beans with the infused ingredient. The result is a coffee that has a unique flavor profile that is not found in traditional coffee.
One example of an infused coffee bean is the vanilla bean coffee. This type of coffee is created by adding vanilla beans to the coffee beans during the roasting process. The heat from the roasting process causes the vanilla beans to release their natural oils, which are absorbed by the coffee beans. The result is a coffee that has a rich, creamy vanilla flavor that is not found in traditional coffee.
In addition to the methods described above, some roasters and producers also use natural processing methods to add premium flavors to coffee beans. Natural processing involves allowing the coffee beans to absorb flavors from the environment in which they are grown. For example, coffee beans that are grown near citrus trees may absorb some of the citrus flavors from the trees, resulting in a coffee that has a subtle citrus flavor. Similarly, coffee beans that are grown in soil that is rich in minerals may absorb some of the mineral flavors, resulting in a coffee that has a unique earthy flavor.
While the methods described above are all used to add premium flavors to coffee beans, it is important to note that the quality of the coffee beans themselves plays a significant role in the overall flavor profile of the coffee. Premium coffee beans are typically grown in specific regions around the world, and they are carefully harvested and processed to preserve their natural flavors.
  Methods of Adding Flavors
There are a few top methods that are commonly used to add flavors to coffee beans, each with their own unique advantages and disadvantages.
One popular method is the use of flavored syrups. Flavored syrups are typically made from natural or artificial flavorings and are added to coffee after it has been brewed. The advantage of using flavored syrups is that they allow for customization of the coffee flavor, allowing customers to choose from a wide variety of flavors. However, the use of flavored syrups can also mask the natural flavors of the coffee, and some customers may find them too sweet or overpowering.
Another method for adding flavors to coffee beans is through the use of flavoring powders. These powders are typically made from natural or artificial flavorings and are added to the coffee grounds before brewing. The advantage of using flavoring powders is that they can provide a more concentrated flavor than flavored syrups, allowing for a stronger and more distinctive coffee flavor. However, the use of flavoring powders can also result in a gritty texture and can sometimes cause clogging in coffee machines.
A third method for adding flavors to coffee beans is through the use of essential oils. Essential oils are concentrated oils extracted from plants, fruits, and other natural sources. They are typically added to coffee beans during the roasting process or after the coffee has been brewed. The advantage of using essential oils is that they provide a natural and authentic flavor to the coffee, without the use of artificial ingredients. However, the use of essential oils can also be expensive, and the oils may not be suitable for all types of coffee.
Regardless of the method used to add premium flavors to coffee beans, it is important for roasters and producers to carefully consider the quality and origin of the coffee beans themselves. The natural flavors of high-quality coffee beans can be enhanced and complemented by the addition of premium flavors, resulting in a truly unique and enjoyable coffee drinking experience.

listen i love the timeless trope of bottom!dean is bad with words and emotions so top!cas waxes poetic to and about dean while making sweet, tender love to him as much as the next guy.
like i totally get it, i do. that dynamic fits them the best and is arguably the truest to their personalities and relationship with each other......
but hear me out:
there's something so intensely romantic and hot about the concept of an angel of the lord overwhelmed, trembling and whimpering at the hands of the righteous man. need to see that ancient celestial creature strung out, desperate, whining, yearning, pathetically whipped and weak with how deeply and completely in love he is. i want castiel--the mighty seraph with power far beyond human comprehension--absolutely wrecked as dean winchester slowly and lovingly takes him apart mind, body, and soul.

{Inside of one of the Inn rooms, the Zetagraft woke up, lights flickering on as it returned to consciousness. The water's effects were no longer there, thankfully, and it seems to have somehow charged up.}
{.. Hmm...}

~ *despite the effects of the river water's effects wearing off, it still felt... something different inside of it's metal body. Something strange and warm flowing through it's wiring, something like electricity and yet it was... not?* ~

It'll never stop being funny how people can see something in fiction and recognize it's wrong but for some reason, can't seem to translate that to real life and see how those same things are reflected in their behavior.
y'all watch episode 2, you see Louis face horrific macro aggressions while trying to conduct simple business, you watch him rightfully get angry, you cheer when he kills the man for what is agreed to be a blatant display of racism. you watch him then explain to lestat what the man did and why he reacted the way he did.
and you clutch your pearls when lestat is dismissive, disregarding louis' struggles and calling him confusing, that he's too dramatic and he needs to get over the racism he faces everyday because they just can't keep having this argument about their differences lestat is tired of it! you question how he can be so flippant to a very serious issue that he previously claimed to care about.
But then you come on this tag, you see black people, frustrated and exhausted, calling out the racism they face, explain how harrowing it is, how isolating and sinister it is, and you roll your eyes, dismiss it and call it "fandom drama", we're overreacting and we should drop it already because we can't keep having this "discourse" over and over again, the carousel comes round again and you're tired of it!
I simply have to laugh

I just recently started following you so i don't have the full lore of your murderous gay religiously traumatized doggos, BUT, from my understanding, they are Italian and i don't know what part of Italy they are from, yet i can't help headcanoning Vasco as Tuscan, while Machete is probably from some part of Veneto. And as an Italian who has heard Tuscans and Veneto dialet, well it's an hilarious mental image.
Vasco is indeed Tuscan, Florentine to be specific. He comes from a wealthy and influential noble family that has lived in Florence for centuries. He's proud of his roots, and it's usually easy for strangers to tell where he's from. He's a resonably successful politician and has worked as an ambassador and representative of Florence on numerous occasions.
Machete is originally Sicilian (ironically about as far from Veneto as possible), although he was taken to mainland at young age and has lived in several places since then, before ending up in Rome. The way I see it, he exhibits very little local color, his demeanor and (even though Italian hadn't become a standardized language yet) way of speaking are formal, neutral and scarcely give away any hints about his personal history, at least in the 16th century canon.

I combined footage from my Detektiv Conan Blu-ray with audio from my Case Closed FUNimation DVD and made an HD English dub clip compilation for Episodes 57-58, "The Holmes Freak Murder Case."
#detective conan#case closed#video#funimation english dub script#i wasn't actually gonna post this video to tumblr because it's so long (because i have a lot of feelings about this case!)#but folks on discord liked it and i'm all about my funi dub propaganda so why not right?#the dub script here is just so fun--and does so well at making the dialogue *work* and sound natural in english#and has so much flavor! it does arguably too much in terms of creative liberties but things like#'can i really trust what a kid saw?' of the sub translation compared to 'and what were you smoking before you ran out there?' in the dub#are much more enjoyable to me#(other fun phrasings: 'the one who's always hangin' around you guys' (sub) vs. 'the little-bitty one with the great big brain!' (dub))#(and 'of course not! the reason i applied for this tour was 'cuz i thought i might find kudo' (sub))#(vs. 'who me? no no no. actually i signed up because i was hoping to run into jimmy here. but i guess i'm out of luck' (dub))#(and so many more! this script just has so much character)#and while it is a shame that the dub eliminated heiji's accent i do like the changed line ('i know it's you!')#'cause you've met shinichi *once* heiji lol#but yeah this is a fun case! i'm really happy to have finally hd'd the funi dub for it :')#one of my favorite things about the funi dub is that jerry jewell (shinichi's va) voices conan's thoughts#and it's so nice to hear *shinichi* and heiji deducting together (and the way they finish each other's thoughts and vibe... it gets to me)

Did you know lemon peels are packed with vitamin C and entirely edible? 🙌🏻
Don’t throw them out! After you’ve peeled your lemons, store in the freezer, then when you’re ready, dehydrate them either in the sun, or on the lowest setting of your oven until they are hard to the touch. Blend them up and you have lemon peel powder (similar to lemon zest). You can add a tablespoon of that lemon peel powder to 1/2 cup of salt for lemon salt (or the same with pepper)! This adds a beautiful citrus note to things like pasta, stir fries and more. 🤔

Any time someone refers to a member of the queer community as 'exempt' from some kind of bigotry or 'straight passing' or whatever it really rubs me the wrong way.
I'm not a trans woman, so I'm 'exempt'' from trans misogyny. But am I really? What about all the cis, gnc, and intersex women who are mistaken for trans women and targeted as such?
What about the fact that one of my parents is an intersex trans woman? You think the bullshit they face doesn't affect me? Affect my whole family??
I'm exempt from lesbophobia, because I am not a lesbian. But I was still verbally assaulted on a bus for being a 'filthy pussy licker' for no reason I could discern other than I have an undercut.
My partner and I may 'pass' as a straight couple, but do you really think it's a privilege to be mistaken for something I'm not? To get dirty looks when I'm buying/wearing pride stuff with my husband beside me?
Why do we have to split it up into microlabels of who gets subjected to what kind of bigotry?
I am not saying not to talk about your own unique experience, of course not. And of course some of the terms and labels for certain kinds of discrimination are useful for expressing what you're facing. But dismissing everyone else's experience because 'oh well they're exempt/immune to the exact kind of bigotry I face'?
I dunno. Just seems shitty to me

When people tell you the health food isle is mostly shit, this is what they’re talking about.
Want healthy?
Pure protein (like a carnivore diet), some fruit and nuts, nothing canned, no protein bars or supplemental protein meals.
Cut out the culprits. You’ll feel better.
Want to lose weight? Workout 5-6 days a week using a HIIT routine. Change the program every 4-6 weeks.
Eat well, workout, have sex often (at least 4 days a week), get plenty of sunshine, sleep 7-8 hours a day.
Simple and easy.
