Thanks to @miranda61 for sharing the link to the interview in the comments. What a lovely interview!
I love how they exclusively talked to him about the non-fictional characters he portrayed, and yet still showed a picture of Aziraphale in the loop of characters photos on the screen (the only fictional character in the loop)! 🤣
Funny how the other interviewer who popped onto the set kept trying to steer the conversation towards David Tennant but Michael didn’t really participate in that dialogue. Also interesting how they asked him about his next big upcoming project and he mentions Nye instead of Good Omens. I know he said something to a fan at the con he was at on the weekend, but I wonder if he’s being steered away from speaking about Good Omens publicly for the moment? (I’m assuming that’s coming from his management or from Prime video specifically preventing him from talking about GO for the moment because of…*gestures vaguely at everything*)
Michael in Good Morning Britain (19.11.2024) :)

Victorian-era dinosaurs win £5m from Heritage Lottery Fund
Crystal Palace Park’s regeneration plan has been handed a £5million grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund to ensure that the historic dinosaurs and other Victorian features in the park don’t become… well, history. Sometimes I have really specific opinions that I have no clue how and when they formed
As a kid for no reason (that I remember) I decided that playing the national lottery was fine, but the thunderball was for dicks
Now as an adult I don't play the lottery regularly, but every so often I'll do the lottery, the euromillions, the "set for life", but I will never do the thunderball 😂

'...Borderlines Film Festival 2024 is bigger than ever
Britain’s biggest rural film festival, one of the six largest film festivals in the UK, is set to take place from 1 – 17 March with a record number of screenings and events, just short of 300 in total. Borderlines covers a large area of country with 23 venues across Herefordshire, Shropshire, Malvern and the Marches, from mixed-arts centres and art deco picture palaces to remote village halls.
Supported by the BFI, awarding funds from the National Lottery, the Elmley Foundation and Hereford City Council, Borderlines offers audiences the opportunity to watch some of the very best new releases, including Oscar and BAFTA nominated titles like All of Us Strangers and The Zone of Interest...'

Mind yer head!
This was once the Cranleigh cottage hospital operation room used by Dr Albert Napper and nurses from 1859. The sounds (and smells) that must have come out of this tiny upstairs room makes me shudder.
This rural building in Surrey was one of the first cottage hospitals created in Victorian Britain and might also be one of the seeds that created the NHS.
I am assisting Cranleigh Heritage Trust as a consultant looking at ideas and interpretation for this 15th century cottage, thanks to the National Lottery Heritage Fund .

National Lottery Draws
in the space of twenty nine years the UK has gone from one weekly weekend draw of the national lottery to a national draw every night of the week, except on a Sunday.
what has improved with regards to our need for financial gain? how much do Canadians and the teachers union make from the proceeds? are we still piously hypnotised about a day called Sunday? what have the Dutch and Germans to do with it anyway? and what are we to do on the night before Monday?

In what year was the 'National Lottery' introduced in the UK?
The 'National Lottery' began in 1994 with the first draw taking place on 19th November. The draw was broadcast live on British television and was presented by Noel Edmonds. Since its beginning, over 6,600 new millionaires have been created and over £30 million is raised for good causes every week. The majority of 'National Lottery' draws take place on live television. For the first few years, the TV show took the title 'The National Lottery Live' and was presented mainly by Anthea Turner or Bob Monkhouse, with other guest presenters being Dale Winton, Carol Smillie, Terry Wogan and Ulrika Jonsson. Frequently, the draw took place within another game show, in which contestants compete for money. Shows included, 'Jet Set', presented by Eamonn Holmes; 'In It to Win It', presented by Dale Winton; 'Who Dares Wins!', presented by Nick Knowles; and 'Win Your Wish List', presented by Shane Richie. To play the 'National Lottery', players must be at least 18 years old and purchase a ticket from approved premises or online. Until April 2021, tickets could be bought by 16 and 17-year-olds, but new eligibility requirements raised the age. When buying a ticket, players chose a random selection of numbers which they have to match with those drawn on the night to win prizes.

I would argue that Megumi leaving Gojo out of his loved ones when thinking about his idealist life with Tsumiki and Yuji highlights the continued tragedy that is Satoru Gojo's lack of communication and connection skills. Alsoooo (and this might be an asspull) it feeds into my perception that both Megumi and Gojo wanted the relationship to be deeper but both couldn't ever come to truly understand one another and connect on that level. And I have alot more comments on that but that will wait till another day if I feel like it lol
#and that's on that folks#I love the father-son headcanon and fanfics as much as the next guy but I just gotta be realistic lol#I just need wholesome teen dad who doesn't know what he's doing content NOW#but the tradegy of we could have been a found family but I could never reach you works too ig#I spelled tragedy wrong fuck#I still firmly believe this is a Nani - Lilo situation with just like 10x the emotional constipation and trauma#jjk#anway Megumi and Itafushi nation how are we feeling?
