I just think itā€™s devastating bc itā€™s canon that it was Arcann who went and brought Vaylin back from Nathema, and during KOTFE if you watch all the cutscenes, even when heā€™s losing his temper he has a moment where he pauses and tells Vaylin that heā€™s ā€œnot blaming herā€ for all thatā€™s going down, and acknowledges that Valkorian held her back the most out of all of them and itā€™s just sooo šŸ„¹ upsetting because they were truly brother and sister, and loved each other and they never get a chance to be a normal FAMILYā€¦

Escaping Nathema
(Once again drawing over a screenshot to better depict our IC playthrough! Five was in no fit state to join Thirteen hunting down Vaylin on Nathema, but there's no way Ahuska was going to let him go alone.)

Star Wars: The Old Republic (Battlefront 2)
So someone told me about the camera (Alt-F2) mode for Battlefront 2 and Iā€™ve been playing around with that.

Idiot Spy Boyfriend - Theron Shan
Transcript:
Vienna: I won't pretend it didn't hurt, Theron.
Theron: I... I know I don't deserve it... but can you give your idiot spy boyfriend one more chance?

I may not LIKE the traitor arc, but the Nathema flashpoint is pretty! ...I would honestly love an absolutely gratuitous story piece where we time travel back to when this place was Medriaas because as local Sith Nerd I would LOVE to see this city (at least it looks like a city in a lot os portions of the flashpoint) in its prime!
...Need to work on my Sith Pureblood headcanon lore doc some more because I have THOUGHTS about those temples!

Nathema adventures. I've aborted the whole thing later, tho, because it just sucks, and I hated it. But at least the landscape is nice

Playing the Nathema conspiracy again.
Words can't describe how much I hate this arc. Sorry for the rant.
1. Reset button. The whole arc is a reset button designed to wipe zakuul and all KOTFEET plot points right off the board. To pretend, poorly, that it never happened. If you really wanted that done, just have us blow up the fleet while sacrificing the Gravestone. Only thing left is Zakuul's offscreen destruction.
2. Leaves us looking really foolish and incompetent. In just a matter of months, the Order of Zildrog manages to do what we couldn't in the main campaign. Songs are sung across the galaxy of how we, the player characters, had ultimate power in our grasp only for it to be snatched away by a relatively small cult.
3. A Gemini droid. A fucking Scorpio Clone. The ghost of that smug robot had to rear its head one last time. Not like i was itching for more self-important droid (AI is getting on my nerves irl as well). And she won. Got what she wanted
4. Vinn Atrius. A final reminder that Zakuul worships Valkorion. And sees us as having thrown the first punch. Heck, Zakuul even tells us we can fuck off now, since we no longer have a fleet. If the rival faction turns up to destroy them, I'd love to be the one to tell Vinn the tragic news. Remind him that destroying the alliance ironically led to Zakuul's final destruction. Like Gemini, he too accomplished his objective.
5. The nathema mission itself. Yet another moment when Force users forget they can use it. Literally drop the ceiling on zildrog! That would ending the stupid plot. And the idea of the secret allies... we don't know half of them, and the rest were irrelevant. Like Mortis. Why is he back? Now, of all times? And what's his beef with Lana?
6. The plot was way too dumb, and required our characters to be proportionately dumber. Even the villains suffer from this when needed. Theron alone could've foiled it in several different ways, since the 5D chess players trusted him so easily.
7. I just hate the Theron "betrayal" and the possible execution.

Stars Alike In Dignity: Chapter 54/?

(what if we take so long to post another chapter that tumblr's linking system changes entirely????)
------------------------------------------------------
CHAPTER 54: SHATTER
Something has changed.Ā
Arcann nods his head politely in greeting to both of them, trying to place what the Force is struggling to tell him in a language heā€™s still learning. Like when Cali tries to teach him her strange idioms in Galactic Basic, several of which heā€™s sure she is completely making up as she goes. ā€œHello. What are you doing?ā€
Liecaā€™s gaze flicks from the spaceship and back, and thereā€™s a strange ripple of guilt for a moment. ā€œCurrently? Testing out the range of my Force abilities in a rare moment of peace,ā€ she answers, tilting her head to the side a little. ā€œI apologise if I woke you, it was not my intention.ā€
ā€œPeace?ā€
She smiles wistfully. ā€œSomething is occupying my unwelcome guest,ā€ she answers tightly. ā€œIā€™m sure itā€™s a warning, but I canā€™t quite place its meaning yet. So, Iā€™m trusting in the Force, which pulled me out here. As I suspect it pulled you.ā€
He doesnā€™t deign to acknowledge that. ā€œYou place such faith in something beyond your understanding?ā€
Both twins raise their eyebrows at him, but itā€™s Cera who answers. ā€œIf we donā€™t trust in the Force, Arcann, what are any of us even doing here?ā€

A few side takes from the last chapter:
1) This entire piece of plot came out of a question I couldnā€™t shake thatā€™s completely Imperial Agent specific. If youā€™re playing an IA who stayed allied with the Empire, the Order of Zildrog member who confronts you on Nathema is Marcus Trant. But what exactly did Cipher Nine do that would make Trant, Director of the SIS since she was a literal child, quit the Republic complete and join an apocalypse cult focused on killing her?
This was my answer to that question.
2) What happened at the end? Weā€™ll get to that. But Garza learned something from Eclipseā€™s failure- they didnā€™t have a failsafe. She had to send Havoc to hunt them down, and sheā€™s not one to repeat mistakes. The people for that new project came from Belsavis. The failsafe came from another prison entirely.
Do you remember Shadow Town?
