I have studied the Annual Profections of the women in some of Hollywood's Most Popular Marriages, in order to find significant patterns between their charts from the years they got married. Here are four.

Victoria Beckham - Married July 4th 1999.

Blake Lively - Married September 2012.

Nicole Kidman - Married June 25th 2006.

Joanne Woodward - January 29th 1958.

Annual Profections:

I have a running theory that you may get married during;

The Profection Year of your 7th House Ruler

The Profection Year of the House that has the most activity in your chart.

(For Example; a 2nd House stellium could get married in their 2nd House Profection Year.)

OR

You could get married when the Ruler of the Profection Year House in which you get married is in the house of your 7th House Ruler or is being ruled by the ruler of your 7th House. (That probably doesnt make sense)

Here's an example; You are a Sagittarius Rising with your 7th House in Gemini but you got married during your 4th House Profection Year. Why? Your 4th House Ruler could be in your 3rd or 6th House which are originally Ruled by your 7th House ruler Mercury. OR, your 4th House could be in Gemini or Virgo which are ruled by Mercury.

Here are a few more examples;

Victoria Beckham - Born April 17, 1974 in Harlow, England.

Natally, Victoria has her Ascendant in Cancer, putting her 7th House in Capricorn.

For Example; Victoria's 7th House Ruler is Saturn. We know that Saturn is the Ruler of the 10th House. Therefore we can conclude that Victoria could get married or engaged at any of the ages associated with the 10th according to the Annual Profection Wheel.

These ages are;

10th House - 21, 33, 45, 57, 69, 81, 93

Now. Victoria Beckham married David Beckham when she was 25 years old. This age is not in the 10th House Profection Year because Victoria got married during her 2nd House Profection Year. The Ruler of her 2nd House is in the 10th House, originally ruled by Saturn, her 7th House Ruler.

Because of this, we should look at the 2nd House Profection Year ages as well.

Because of this, we should look at the 12th House Profection Year ages as well.

Those ages are: 23, 35, 47, 59, 71, 83, 95.

Joanne Woodward - Born February 27th, 1930 in Thomasville, Georgia.

Natally, Joanne has her Ascendant in Capricorn, putting her 7th House in Cancer.

Her 7th House Ruler is Cancer. We know that The Moon is the Ruler of the 4th House. Therefore we can conclude that Joanne could get married or engaged at any of the ages associated with the 4th House according to the Annual Profection Wheel.

These ages are; 15, 27, 39, 51, 63, 75, 87

Joanne Woodward married Paul Newman when she was 27 years old.

Then your Saturn Return will last approx. 6 years 🪐

The reason why is because Tropical astrology operates one zodiac sign ahead of Vedic astrology.

For example:

Let’s say you have a Leo ascendant in both your tropical natal chart and sidereal natal chart AND you have Saturn in Aquarius in both charts.

In Tropical astrology Saturn was in Aquarius recently from March 2020 until March 2023.

However, in Vedic astrology Saturn was in Capricorn during that time. It wasn’t until January 2023 that Saturn entered Aquarius in Vedic astrology and won’t leave Aquarius until March 2025.

This means that transiting Saturn is activating 2 different houses in your tropical and sidereal natal charts at all times.

So after you experience your Saturn Return in your tropical natal chart, it’s going to be prolonged for another 2-3 years because transiting Saturn in Vedic astrology will then enter that same sign in your sidereal natal chart.

If you have a different ascendant in both your tropical and sidereal natal charts and Saturn is in a different sign in each chart, then you’ll experience your Saturn Return in your tropical and sidereal natal charts at the same time.

For example:

I have a Virgo ascendant in my tropical natal chart and a Leo ascendant in my sidereal natal chart.

Saturn is in Scorpio in the 3rd house in my tropical natal chart.

Saturn is in Libra in the 3rd house in my sidereal natal chart.

I had my Saturn Return during the same time in both charts.

In Tropical astrology Saturn was in Scorpio from October 2012 until September 2015.

In Vedic astrology Saturn was in Libra from November 2011 until November 2014.

There was a bit of overlap but my Saturn Return was happening at the same time in the same house in both charts, just different signs.

Jupiter transit

Jupiter enters the fixed sign Taurus on 16 of May and will remain there until 25 May 2024 when it will make its movement into Gemini. Jupiter is the planet of luck, expansion, optimism and spirituality. Taurus is a fixed earth sign that represent stability, steady growth, fertility and like to experience the world through the 5 senses. Transiting Neptune stations retrograde

Caveat: this may not have much of an effect on you personally, unless there is strong Neptune energy in your chart. Neptune should be closely aspecting the Sun, Moon, &/or an angle; prominent Pisces &/or 12th House energy also (the Sun, Moon, &/or an angle in Pisces, the Sun or Moon in the 12th House).

Notice that Neptune is almost done with Pisces - there are only 5’ of arc left before the next sign, Aries. Almost there but not quite! As my old band director used to say, “‘Almost’ only counts for horseshoes and hand grenades.”

So, this is our last shot at a “pure” Neptune Rx in Pisces. It’s a good time to review the past dozen years’ worth of spiritual lessons. We ought to have prioritized our souls - sometimes that happens through religious practice or meditation, but sometimes it can be the creative process.

Spend the next five-ish months (until Neptune’s direct station on Dec. 7) reviewing the past dozen years. Think back to February 2012, when Neptune entered Pisces to stay for a while (after about a year of back-&-forth between Aquarius and Pisces). That's right, the Sitio do Picapau Amarelo cartoon from 2012, based on the books by Montiero Lobato. Apparently, these books and characters are very popular in Brazil. Not so much in my home country of America, where we melt into a puddle of goo if someone so much as mentions the idea of a kilometer. Hence why I made this blog, to share my love of this world that you all have cherished for so many years.

ANGELINA JOLIE BIRTH CHART ANALYSIS

Let's look into the chart of the actress Angelina Jolie!

Cancer rising, 1h Venus, both rising and Venus in the bound of saturn. Twelvth part of the Ascendant in the Venus bound of Gemini. Timeless beauty since Saturn reserves. Also the twlevth part of the Ascendant is near the natal sun - stardom.

She is ruled by the Moon and the Moon is applying to Jupiter, her benefic of sect. Jupiter is also a natural significator of children, so she adopted a lot of children. Jupiter is also the domicile and bound ruler of her prenatal lunation so it is important for her life purpose in general. Jupiter also rules her 11h from Fortune, so it bestows wealth upon her.

Jupiter rules her 6h of services and 9h of foreign lands. So since her ruler the Moon is applying to Jupiter in 10h, she's publicly known for her charity works in foreign lands.

Saturn rules her 7h and while she has a day chart, Saturn is in detriment, in a nocturnal sign in which it doesn't rejoice, and it doesn't rejoice by solar phase either because it is an evening star. The out of sect malefic Mars is maltreating Saturn with a superior square. And the 12th part of saturn is in the bound of Mars. Her partner Brad Pitt was abusive. Mars also rules her 5h of romance so this area of her life is unfortunately characterized by violence.

The Lot of Spirit indicates career and it is in Virgo in her chart. Vettius Valens says that Virgo as a sign represents actors. It's in the bound of saturn showing that she's an actress with a long lasting legacy, with its ruler Mercury being in its own sign.

The 12th part of her midheaven is in Scorpio in the bound of Mars. Again, Mars is the out of sect malefic for her. People can get aggressive with her for no reason but it's because they get intimidated by her. The movie that launched her into international stardom was Lara Croft : Tomb Raider, and it was released in 2001 when she was in a level 2 peak period from the Lot of Spirit.

In 1995, while she was filming the movie "Hackers", she had a romance with the actor Jonny Lee Miller, and she was in a level 2 peak period from the Lot of Eros. They got married later in 1996 and got divorced later in February 1999, when she was in another level 2 peak period. So peak periods from the Lot of Eros can also show relationship break-ups. During the 1st Loosing of Bond period from Lot of Eros, she married the actor Billy Bob Thornton whom she divorced in 2003.

In 2005 during another level 2 peak period from Lot of Eros (Leo Period), she fell in love with Brad Pitt her co-star in "Mr. & Mrs. Smith". Since this was a Leo Period,it is ruled by 12h sun. 12h can be related to scandals and hidden affairs so she was accused of separating Brad Pitt from his wife Jennifer Aniston and that he cheated on Jennifer with her. I don't think they cheated,Jolie herself stated that she wouldn't be in a relationship with a cheater cause her father cheated on her mother.

But their relationship still raised suspicion. In April 2012 in the foreshadowing Capricorn L2 period they got engaged, and married in the Aquarius peak L2 period in 2014. On september 2016, a little bit before the Culmination Aries period which started on October 2016, they separated and Jolie filed for divorce. She accused him of verbally abusing her and their children on an airplane in 2016. This Aries period is ruled by(and contains)her out of sect malefic Mars and Mars indicates separation.

I think that the problems between them started in the foreshadowing period (February 2011 - May 2013). This is my own theory cause thay foreshadowing period is a Capricorn period and Capricorn is a cardinal sign, and she has both malefics - Mars and Saturn - in cardinal signs. Jolie stayed that the 2016 airplane incident wasn't the first time so i think the abuse began in that foreshadowing period and the airplane incident was the breaking point.

(María Luisa Bombal Anthes nació en Viña del Mar, Chile, el 8 de junio de 1910. Fue una escritora y novelista chilena)

Su obra, relativamente breve en extensión, se centra en personajes femeninos y su mundo interno con el cual escapan de la realidad. Sus obras más conocidas son las novelas La última niebla, La amortajada y el cuento El árbol.

Fue la introductora del surrealismo en la novelística chilena, exponiendo y ejerciendo modos narrativos imaginativos, simbólicos, sugerentes, patéticos.

Comenzó su formación en un colegio administrado por religiosas francesas en su ciudad natal, aunque, cuando falleció su padre, emigró a París. En la capital de Francia completó sus estudios secundarios e ingresó a La Sorbona para formarse en latín y Letras. De manera simultánea, Bombal tomó clases de teatro y aprendió a tocar el violín.

Completamente involucrada con el mundo del arte, volvió a Chile en 1931 dispuesta a desarrollar una carrera literaria. Ese año publicó “El árbol”, su primer libro. Un complicado vínculo amoroso con Eulogio Sánchez Errázuriz la llevó a intentar suicidarse, disparándose en el cuello.

Tras recuperarse, recibió un llamado de un amigo que vivía en Argentina y que deseaba alejarla de su depresión: Pablo Neruda. Instalada en Buenos Aires, Bombal pudo conocer a Jorge Luis Borges, Victoria Ocampo, Federico García Lorca, Leopoldo Marechal y otros grandes escritores de la época.

En suelo argentino escribió “La última niebla”, “La amortajada”, “Las islas nuevas” y “Mar, cielo y tierra”. Tras un breve matrimonio con Jorge Larco, la escritora tomó la decisión de regresar a Chile.

Su perturbación respecto a Sánchez Errázuriz volvió a emerger: en 1941, lo baleó y fue detenida. Al recuperar la libertad, Bombal se marchó a Estados Unidos y se casó con Rafael de Saint Phalle, quien le dio una hija a la que bautizó Brigitte.

Debido al éxito de una versión en inglés de “La última niebla”, Bombal decidió escribir un libro en la lengua de Shakespeare: “The house of mist”, que recién fue traducido al castellano en 2012. Cuando su marido falleció, regresó definitivamente a Viña del Mar.

En la década de 1970 recibió varias distinciones, como el Premio de la Academia Chilena de la Lengua, el Premio Ricardo Latcham y el Premio Joaquín Edwards Bello.

Aunque muchos intelectuales del país pedían que María Luisa recibiese el Premio Nacional de Literatura, éste nunca le fue concedido.

En 1974 obtuvo el Premio Ricardo Latcham. En 1976 fue condecorada con el Premio Academia Chilena de la Lengua. Finalmente, en 1978, ganó el Premio Joaquín Edwards Bello.

Sus últimos años los pasó en la casa de reposo de Héctor Pecht. Sumida en el alcohol, visitó constantemente el hospital afectada de crisis hepáticas.

María Luisa Bombal falleció el 6 de mayo de 1980 en la ciudad de Santiago de Chile, Chile, víctima de una hemorragia digestiva masiva.

She attended the GPs with that aristocrat, and they ended their relationship in 2011. But Christian and Geri's relationship started between 2012-2013, or maybe even 2014. That’s why I said who knows when, haha. It’s weird that their relationship became official just a few months after Olivia was born.

That’s why Christian’s parents refused to attend their wedding.

Random facts:

By the way, Geri’s natal chart reading said it was a mistake to get married on May 15. There’s a rule like "don’t get married in May."

It also said something would happen with Christian again between these dates in July and August.

The tarot reading said Christian isn’t a one-woman man and he’s going through a crisis where he feels like his youth is slipping away. It even hinted that it might not be the first time he’s been unfaithful.

A PRIMEIRA VEZ QUE CHARLIE SE SENTIU UM MONSTRO foi em seu aniversário de nove anos. De presente de aniversário, ela não havia pedido muito; o mundo estava branco pela neve e ela queria sair um pouco, talvez fazer um boneco de neve. Ela nunca havia feito um boneco de neve, mas havia visto em um dos filmes de Natal que assistia quando sua mãe não estava em casa. Ela havia feito tudo para que sua mãe dissesse sim; estava em dia com suas lições e havia aprendido a tocar com maestria aquela peça particularmente difícil no piano. Ela havia lido A República de Platão em inglês e em grego, assim como feito anotações pertinentes e criativas sobre o livro também nas duas línguas, tudo isso no intervalo de três horas. Ela havia limpado a casa, lavado as roupas, feito o almoço de acordo com todas as especificidades da mãe. Ela havia sido perfeita.

Não adiantara de nada; Eva ouvira o pedido da filha por um total de dois segundos antes de descartar a ideia com um gesto de mão, considerando a brincadeira infantil e nada construtiva para o intelecto da garotinha. Frustrada, Charlie deixou os olhos caírem sobre a faca na mesa da cozinha e as probabilidades apareceram perante seus olhos, aquele estranho dom que adquirira meros meses antes. 78% de probabilidades de alcançar a faca antes da mãe, 66% de fincá-la com precisão na artéria femoral da mulher. 25% de chance de não ser pega por isso.

O pensamento se esvaiu logo, substituído por uma culpa profunda. Que tipo de monstro pensa em matar a própria mãe?

2012.

Apesar de já estar acostumada, esfregar o chão de seu quarto nunca era uma tarefa fácil. Teoricamente, isso deveria ser feito por todas as cinco meninas que dividiam o lugar, a tarefa mudando de mãos de semana em semana. O que ficara bem claro, porém, é que se Charlie não quisesse levar uma bela de uma surra, ela aceitaria a missão de limpar o quarto como completamente sua, sem reclamar e com a maior diligência. Era óbvio que limpar o quarto não era o suficiente para garantir sua segurança; ela também tinha que lavar as roupas das meninas, dar parte de sua comida e até mesmo massagear os pés das garotas, tudo para não apanhar. E nem mesmo tudo isso a impedia de sofrer humilhações constantes nas mãos delas.

E o que ela poderia fazer, afinal? Era um saco de ossos, magrela e frágil, e todas as suas armas eram mentais. Demorou para que ela entendesse que poderia sim usá-las, e não foi nem mesmo difícil. Enquanto três das quatro meninas que dormiam em seu quarto zombavam dela por mexer, meticulosamente, um sapato pelo quarto, e depois por escolher com cuidado um dos pés do cabideiro próximo à janela para tirar o calço, ela usou das probabilidades para criar a cena esperada. Obviamente aquilo era apenas provável de acontecer, não certeiro, mas era melhor do que nada. Então, ignorando os insultos e xingamentos de louca, estranha e perturbada, Charlie fez o que tinha que fazer e esperou.

E aconteceu. A quarta das meninas entrou no quarto, soltando um comentário sarcástico para Charlotte que lia em silêncio em sua cama e, no caminho para a própria cama, tropeçou no sapato no meio do caminho. Foi para frente e, na tentativa de impedir sua queda, tentou se segurar no cabideiro que caiu com ela pelo pé quebrado. Sem apoio nenhum, a menina foi para o chão, não sem antes bater a testa na beirada da cama, causando um corte que encheu o quarto de sangue.

As outras meninas gritaram, desesperadas, e foram acudir a outra que jazia desmaiada no meio de tanto sangue. Os olhares das três foram para Charlie, certamente a vendo sob uma nova luz. Que tipo de monstro você é? Uma delas exclamou, e havia medo em sua voz. Charlie genuinamente não sabia, mas depois, enquanto ela esfregava o chão para tirar o sangue, ela sorriu, pois sabia que era a última vez que teria que fazer isso.

2024.

Nem todo herói se parece um herói e nem todo monstro se parece um monstro, mas ninguém é capaz de amar um. Não importa quanto tempo passasse, Charlie não conseguia esquecer a voz retumbante de sua mãe invadindo seus sonhos. Nunca mais tivera contato com ela, nem em sonhos nem de qualquer outra forma, mas mesmo depois de tanto tempo a voz da deusa era nítida em sua memória. Por muito tempo, ela tentou mentir para si mesma e acreditar que as palavras eram alguma forma de enigma e não uma acusação.

Não, ela não se parecia um monstro. Com seu rosto jovial, sorriso de criança e olhos inocentes, se deduziria o total oposto. Ela sabia, porém, vindo dos lábios da própria mãe, que nem todo monstro se parece um monstro. Aquilo era muito claro. O significado do sonho, então, era igualmente óbvio:

Charlotte Campbell é um monstro. E ela jamais seria amada.

Forma assieme a Davide Calabrese e Beppe Di Filippo il gruppo UNTZ di cui ne è tuttora dj e scratcher performer.

Nel 2016 esce “Body”, l'album sperimentale di scratch e strumentali totalmente prodotto e suonato da Dj Faxbeat (con alcune collaborazioni) in cui utilizza il giradischi come voce sui beat.

Suona nei club fino al 2019 quando si ferma in studio per una personale ricerca musicale fino al 2024. L’8 marzo 2024 decide quindi di uscire con il suo singolo “Secondo Me”, sotto il nome di Dj Faxbeat.

In 2011, Meagan started dating Devon Franklin. He was a Columbia Pictures Exec and a preacher. You can see in the measurements listing that her 2011 started with both Jupiter and Pluto transiting Sun/Moon. They were joined in 2012 by Uranus and Meagan and Franklin were married in 2012. They divorced in December, 2021.

Meagan's next relationship was with actor, Jonathan Majors in early 2023 with transiting Jupiter at her Sun/Moon. Today, Majors was convicted of assaulting his former girlfriend!!!!!

Ya think she has some lessons to learn about what goes through her head when choosing a partner for a relationship?!

She has Venus in Virgo. Cerebral matters can take things over when it comes to romance and romantic feelings. Understanding emotions often displaces feeling them. Venus here has the ability to express emotion without feeling it. As an actress she can be very good at this.

IL film di Natale

Quello del film di Natale è diventato oggi un genere a sé che prescinde dal calendario, ma ha raggiunto una sua legittimità in tutti i mesi dell’anno: ci sono addirittura canali dedicati che trasmettono ininterrottamente film natalizi per un pubblico di irriducibili affezionati. Ma quali sono le caratteristiche di questo cinema di pura evasione? La prevedibilità, l’atmosfera di affetti familiari e buoni sentimenti, il freddo nevoso esterno neutralizzato da accoglienti caminetti in dimore debitamente addobbate, un finale scontato e sempre invariabilmente positivo e confortante. Niente di male. Ma, per riferirci a un tempo passato in cui i film di Natale erano pochi e firmati da grandi registi, qual è il vostro film preferito, quello che dovete rivedere ogni anno altrimenti non è davvero Natale?

Ognuno ha il suo beniamino: uno dei più classici è sicuramente La vita è meravigliosa di Frank Capra (1946) con un James Stewart strepitoso (trovate in questo link un interessante articolo su questa pellicola), un capolavoro che ha conquistato molti record: considerato, giustamente, uno dei film che migliorano con il passare del tempo, ha ricevuto un budget colossale, effetti speciali d’avanguardia per l’epoca, montagne di neve chimica (fu girato in primavera-estate). Ma il segreto di tanta popolarità resta imprescrutabile: non bastano un cast eccezionale, una trama avvincente, un regista geniale per spiegare un successo planetario che dura da quasi ottant’anni. In fondo si tratta di una favola semi-realistica con un angelo che non ha nemmeno le ali. Ci sono alchimie inesplicabili e questo è uno di quei casi, ma la preghiera di James Stewart sull’orlo del fallimento e della galera mette i brividi ogni volta che la si guarda.

Altro film di successo (ma ormai siamo nell’era del colore) è Harry ti presento Sally di Rob Reiner: la coppia scoppia proprio nel periodo natalizio e la splendida Meg Ryan è costretta a trascinare da sola il grande abete fino al suo appartamento di New York. Sarà la festa di Capodanno a rimettere le cose a posto. Originali e commoventi gli inserti delle coppie che in pochi cenni raccontano le loro romantiche storie. Battute degne di Woody Allen, dialoghi e recitazione ad altissimo livello: insomma, un vero cult.

È ormai un classico a tutti gli effetti, anche se del 2009, A Christmas Carol di Robert Zemeckis con Jim Carrey. Tratto da Dickens, questa geniale versione cinematografica (se ne contano a bizzeffe, compresa quella, assai commovente, della Disney con protagonista Topolino) è stata realizzata con la tecnica della motion capture, che registra il movimento di persone o oggetti con un sistema di telecamere e marcatori posizionati su tute indossate dagli attori: il risultato è una magica fusione tra cinema e cartone animato che consente strabilianti effetti speciali altrimenti impensabili.

Citiamo solo il titolo di altri film di Natale, come Mamma ho perso l’aereo e relativi sequel, Il Grinch, Miracolo nella 34a strada, Elf, Nightmare before Christmas, Polar Express, Willy Wonka e la fabbrica di cioccolato, Una strega in paradiso, per soffermarci invece su Una poltona per due di John Landis, con Dan Aykroyd, Eddie Murphy, Jamie Lee Curtis e un piccolo cameo di James Belushi. Alcune curiosità su questo cult, trasmesso in Italia la vigilia di Natale ininterrottamente dal 2012, anche se la prima visione televisiva risale al 1986 (la pellicola è del 1983):

per la coppia black & white (questo avrebbe dovuto essere il titolo originale, poi trasformato in Trading Places) all’inizio si era pensato al collaudato duo Richard Pryor-Gene Wilder

dopo questo film in America fu promulgata una legge chiamata Eddie Murphy Rule che per la prima volta regolamenta gli scambi finanziari dell’insider trading

i due miliardari che si giocano la vita dei due protagonisti per una misera scommessa (ben 1 dollaro) si rivedono in Il principe cerca moglie, sempre interpretato da Eddie Murphy, nel ruolo, che si meritano, di poveri clochard

in Italia esiste un gruppo di fedelissimi che dal 2017 si incontrano su un famoso social e ogni giorno inseriscono commenti e fanno il conteggio di Quanti giorni mancano a "Una poltrona per due".

Ma quale può essere il segreto di un consenso così generalizzato che annovera sempre nuovi estimatori? In fondo il Natale è una tradizione che si rinnova ogni anno, con riti ormai codificati: l’albero, il presepe, il panettone-pandoro, il cotechino con le lenticchie, il vischio, i regali, i dodici chicchi d’uva che portano fortuna e ricchezza... Così è entrata nella tradizione anche questa favola rassicurante, un film perfetto, che non manca una scena, una battuta, una nota. Il miracolo di un’ingiustizia sanata, di un sopruso che si ritorce contro i suoi autori, di poveri emarginati della società che si arricchiscono, di uno yuppie senza cuore che diventa umano: dove possiamo vederlo se non in un film? E in particolare in questo film divertente, magistralmente diretto e magnificamente interpretato.

Come diceva Frank Capra a proposito di It’s a wonderful life, un film è, in un certo senso, come un figlio che, quando cresce, diventa indipendente e sfugge alla tutela del genitore. Così anche Una poltrona per due ha superato ogni più rosea previsione dei suoi autori e riscuote, ogni anno, un immancabile successo. Ma è anche, se vogliamo, una favola moderna, vagamente trasgressiva, dove si parla di droga, di razzismo, la bella protagonista è una prostituta, Babbo Natale si ubriaca e tenta il suicidio, e dove non nevica ma piove: tutto questo, e molto altro, per un piccolo gioello da ri-vedere in famiglia per sorridere un po’ in questi tempi burrascosi.

Welcome to the Shadow of the Eclipse

Some introductory notes

The “shadow of the eclipse” is a time period lasting from 10 days before the first eclipse, to three days after the final eclipse. It is recommended not to start anything new, or schedule anything important, during these days - as usual I refer everyone to the 1981 wedding of Lady Diana Spencer to the Prince of Wales, as an example.

Of course we live in a place/time which scoffs at letting astrology help with the timing of events - therefore don’t lose hope if something falls unavoidably within the eclipse shadow. Just be prepared.

I wanted to take a more thorough approach to delineation, this time. I hope it’s helpful.

South Node Solar Eclipse

A solar eclipse happens when the New Moon lies close (in the Zodiac) to either the North Lunar Node, or to the South one. It occurred to me to do a little research on whether which Node is involved, makes any difference - and yes, it does.

Astrologers call the South Node “the dragon’s tail” - Steven Forrest calls the South Node, “the dragon’s butt” - because here we are “pooping out” what we don’t need and can’t use. (One person’s poop, however, is another person’s fertilizer.)

Eclipses conjunct the South Lunar Node, like the October 14 one, have an outflowing (outpooping?) of energy. They tend to feature external events which we have to “rise up to.”

Going down that list was a very uncomfortable trip down memory lane for me. When those South Node eclipses affected me, it was generally a harbinger of some difficult “external event” which I had little to no control over - which is not the same thing as saying “it wasn’t my fault.” I brought some of it on myself due to bad decisions. Some karma chickens coming home to roost, in other words. Not all of them were dire, though. One in particular gave me something of a respite from what had been happening in my life - it was conjunct my natal 12th House cusp.

Saros Series “7 South”

This eclipse is part of Saros Series “7 South.” Bernadette Brady writes,

The individual experiencing this series will find that huge obstacles will suddenly and easily clear or, on the negative side, a pending potential crisis will suddenly manifest and move through his or her life very rapidly. Either way the individual will feel that everything is moving at great speed. (The Eagle and the Lark)

Whatever Shall We Do?

1) Determine which of your natal houses this eclipse falls in.

2) Determine whether the eclipse makes an aspect to anything in your chart. Use a 1° orb. In my case, the conjunctions, squares, sesquiquads (135°), inconjuncts, and oppositions made the most obvious impacts.

3) If there is a close aspect to a planet, check to see which house(s) that planet rules. One South Node eclipse was conjunct the ruler of my natal 4th House, and I moved three months later.

4) Avoid strenuously negative thoughts. If you put a lot of energy into anticipating that something is going to be horrible and painful and disastrous, well, guess what - that’s exactly what’s going to happen. If you catch yourself falling into a panic, try to refocus the energy into “the best possible outcome.”
