Like, sir. Have you never witnessed a fucking first responder funeral? The processions are ALWAYS in public! You were filming the scene IN PUBLIC!

Okay Tim, way to promote the stigma that first responders can’t have crash outs. Not giving Buck, SPECIFICALLY BUCK, on-screen grieving time, was absurd. I understand we got Athena…his WIFE and Chimney…his friend and whose life he SAVED.

I’m in this job for real. Everyday. I know what death, trauma, and emotional strain this job does on you. Yes, it can make you numb, or “used to it” but that ISN’T always accurate. We have feelings still. We aren’t robots. We don’t shed one SINGLE tear. We cry. We sob.

I have a “fire family”. I have an “ambulance family” or an “EMS family”. The entire episode I kept thinking “what if this was my life and that was ___ who died?”, my found FAMILY.

It almost feels disrespectful. It’s a disservice to the characters, the fans, the actors, and first responders in real life. How pathetic of a funeral, for five minutes, was that? You want real representation for first responders? Show me. SHOW ME. Don’t give me quick tears and silence. Show me the raw, real emotions.

Alone In The City (And Nobodies Coming For Me) (18.5k)

SUMMARY On a day off, Evan Buckley sleeps through his apartment building catching fire and ultimately crumbling around him. He wakes up alone and scared. There is so much he's never said to so many people he loves. A few people in particular. Basically I wrote Whump!Buck because I have no self control. (Hurt/Comfort and Angst with a Happy Ending)

Basically I wrote a fic where the loft catches fire. All Buck wants is his dad (Bobby). Also Buddie feels at the end!!! This can be read as a standalone, although eventually I plan on writing a second part!! (there is no cliffhanger)

SPOILERS!!!! 3s THEORY

I'm actually very proud of this theory rn and feel like a hawthorne for thinking of this, like I might actually be on to something here

Ok so I had a thought and its stuck in my mind

So we all know that Odette said some vague and confusing thing about “ There are always three”

And I think I have a good theory as to what it means

That being, I think that this phrase is a play on or nod to some of these other common sayings about threes

“Everything comes in threes”

“Bad things come in three” /“Good things come in threes”

“Death comes in threes”

Or “Omne trium perfectum” which means “everything that comes in threes is perfect” in Latin

These are all common saying about things happening in threes or what threes means

And I specifically think that Odette meant something about good/bad or life/death events happening in 3s

Or even about beginning/ending events happening (bc we all know she knows about Alphas and Omegas beginning and end)

I think this BECAUSE if you look back at where Odette says this you'll see that she says this in RESPONSE to grayson saying “she DIED before I was BORN”

Grayson says his grandmother DIED BEFORE he was BORN and demands she EXPLAIN

He obv meant explain how is it possible for Alice to be the “A hawthorne did this” culprit but he doesnt specify explain what he just says explain and Odette probably choose to interpret that vaguely and gave an answer that “explains” or simplifies the reasons why Alice “died” and Graysons was “born” and says “there are always three”

Like she's saying “well everything comes in threes”/ “life and death happen in threes” that's the karmic reasoning why she “died” and you were born

And so obv Alices death and Grays birth are 2 life/death events and the third (or really FIRST) event would have been Tobys “death”

Which his death would also be the catalyst for both Alice’s death and Graysons birth

Bc Grayson would have never been born is Skye wasn't grieving her brother and although now we know Alice didnt die of grief id still say its safe to assume whatever happened was triggered by the loss of her son.

So the “thee” that Odette is referring to is Toby “died”, Alice “died”, Grayson is born

Everything comes in threes

But while I think this is what Odette meant when she choose to say this in response to Graysons demands for her to explain things I don't think that this is all that this phrase “There is always three” means, it has broader implications and could probably mean a lot of things

Its a vague and versatile phrase that Odette has heard many times, maybe as a warning. But there is definitely more to it, if I am right or heading in the right direction with my theory, then it could mean a lot of things and be important later on.

Also one last thing

I find it interesting how one of the common phrases “Omne trium perfectum” means everything that comes in threes is perfect and if my theory is correct then this would make GRAYSON one of the “things that comes in threes” and how in this phrase that would make him “perfect”

And we all know that he was the grandson who was GROOMED to be “perfect”

Could this be the reason that HE was “the chosen one”?

Was he the one Tobias choose bc he was part of the things that came in threes and has that karmical connection to Alice?

Idk but, its all very intriguing to me, and I can see so much potential and foreshadowing withing this little phrase that JLB very specifically used

The thing for me, since it's increasingly harder to live in denial, is that of all the ways they could have ended Bobby's story. After all these years, after years of fighting addiction and being suicidal, after years of being there for his family and his family being there for him, after all he did in season 7 to survive and come back to all of them. After everything, every trauma, every loss, every person he loved, every battle. The way they ended his story was to kill him instead of letting him finally know peace and joy. He had finally accepted his joy, was finally accepting his life and the love and family within it, and instead of letting that stay and have him finally choose to rest, not to give up as he meant to before, but to have peace, he sacrificed himself.

Heyyyyyy so do you realize you’re weird? Like GENUINELY do you realize it?

The fact you OPENLY support proshipping is fucking weird, and gross. The whole “fiction doesn’t affect reality” spiel is a dumb argument because it does. Many use proshipping as a way to get the confidence to actually do that stuff IRL, using the new internet term “proshipping” to hide behind what they truly are, fucking perverts. “but what if it’s a trauma response due to them being a victim themselves?” Simple, do NOT enable them. Mental health professionals LITERALLY say to never enable someone who’s mentally unwell, it can lead to drastic consequences. If someone is using perverted ideas to make themselves feel better for their past trauma, they shouldn’t have any platform or attention. Take Alfred’s playhouse for example, that show is a cry from help from the publisher about their own trauma, and because of the enabling they received from fans EGGING them on they had yet another mental spiral which caused that person to post anti-Semitic things in their terrible mental state. People like you enable these either mentally unwell people, or perverted people. Do you know kid-on-kid sexual assault happens? Do you know sibling-on-sibling sexual assault happens? It’s never just adults who can do this, proshippers are not just adults. They’re a sub-genre of people on the internet who need to be hospitalized for their own, and everyone else’s safety. I’d say you’re just simply uninformed, buts that’s a lie. You’re ignorant to the whole topic on purpose, your ignorance LITERALLY affects the real world. No one should get death threats for shipping, but the fact you actively allow and support it is fucking weird.

Second, your overall victim attitude is atrocious. I swear every other post you make is you victimizing yourself in some way shape or form. You never actually acknowledge ways you could either fix, deal with, or try and make yourself better. You let yourself be a never ending cycle of “I’m a victim!” Over and over again and doing that you bring down the voices of other people who are actually victims. People like you make people ignore actual people who need help because people like you cry wolf OVER and OVER again.

And lastly, you LOVE trans people… in a weird way. This almost fetishization you have over trans-women in particular makes people uncomfortable. You conveniently ignore every aspect about a character to make them trans, which in itself is okay, but it’s the fact you make that their WHOLE personality. The whole headcanon/character now being about how they’re trans and how “silly” it is. Please stfu.

I’d say some common words about how I’d recommend you change your viewpoint, maybe how I’d even open my dms to talk this out, but I don’t think you have the maturity to even stomach what I’d suggest. With your constant victimization of yourself, I don’t put it past you to actually say or do anything different after this post. Instead I believe you’re gonna get your little tumblr-fucks to cry and grovel at your feet while you make a response saying how I’m a terrible person. These acts of non-accountability and overwhelmingly narcissistic behavior is seen throughout your account. I don’t think you’re necessarily a bad person, I just think you heard from a therapist you have a problem, and then announced it to the whole world that because you have that problem, every other thing or inconvenience in the world is now because of that problem. If anyone watches 9-1-1 or The Rookie, has anyone noticed any similarities between the two shows? I’ve noticed that some of the minor or even major plot points in The Rookie show up in 9-1-1. And I know there’s only so much you can write for procedurally that stay within lines of reality, but it’s interesting how much they mirror each other at times
