Alrighty, there was a delay due to personal matters, so rather than the end of last week, I am making my updates today!

Summary: No matter the time, no matter the place, no matter how their future unfolds, Sakura-chan would always have a very special place in Uzumaki Naruto's heart. Even while separately married with children of their own, Naruto will always love her... so what happens when he finds a vulnerable young Sakura from his past flung into the future, the very version of her during the height in which she'd held his heart and soul?

The trek home didn’t take long and Naruto stopped briefly in front of the large cave in front of him. The entire village was accustomed to his kage bunshin���s running around, so no one batted an eye when he stepped out of the village walls with the excuse of wanting to do one last run of the perimeter before ending the night. Everyone assumed that once he was done, he’d simply disperse the clone.

Well, they weren’t completely wrong in that regard.

Blue eyes flickered red as Naruto approached the cave entrance, taking in the vast cavern and wincing as he felt Kurama prod at him harder. “I know, I know. Calm down, already!”

They were just wrong about which one was the clone.

Naruto inhaled deeply, grinning as he felt Kurama rumble excitedly inside of him as the familiar sweet scent filled him. It was a beautiful scent that had changed over the years as he grew, evolving from an almost cloying sweetness to an alluring temptation and now a refined scent of dignity and maturation.

He smiled tenderly, watching with fond eyes at the figure whose wrists were currently bound by the highest level of seals that kept her chakra tightly restricted. Beneath the rope were also fuinjutsu he’d created himself, adding another layer of shackles that kept her chakra sealed away.

His clone was there as well, cradling her on his lap while running his fingers through her pink locks. Funny, he never realized just how tiny Sakura-chan was at this age compared to their full grown selves. He could easily cover her entire body with his own.

Naruto licked his lips, dismissing the clone before it could start an argument about wanting to stay. His stomach throbbed as Kurama demanded to be let out. “Not now! You'll get your turn!”

He winced at the snarls inside his mind and focused more at the sight of the Sakura-chan in front of him. The one that had somehow been hurled through time to his present, but her future. Based on appearance and what she had shared before he’d knocked her out, she came from before the war, but after he’d returned back to Konoha.

Short pink hair, still chopped haphazardly due to her focus being more on training rather than getting a decent haircut. He remembered his shock at the sight of her trimming her own hair with kunai while Ino lamented that Sakura had regressed to that of a barbarian, befitting that big forehead of hers. But he’d adored that hairstyle, because it was Sakura-chan.

To him, there was no one more perfect.

Naruto frowned at the memories of his clone. Despite having order that he do nothing but protect her and stop her from escaping if she were to wake up too early, his clone, as usual, had been disobedient. There were memories of cuddling the slumbering teenage Sakura in his arms, running his hand through her hair, nuzzling her neck and inhaling deeply….

His scowl deepened.

Shikamaru was right. It just wasn’t the same as doing it himself in person.

“Sakura-chan, I’m sorry for being so rough,” Naruto cooed gently as he approached the still unconscious kunoichi, crouching down in order to lift her up from the ground. He looked around and found the den that his clone had made, having followed the instructions Kurama had given them on creating a proper “home” for their mate.

No, not mate. Naruto had been firm about that. Sakura-chan wasn’t his.

He could still remember Kurama’s cackle.

“Whatever lets you sleep at night, brat.”

Naruto settled down on the soft bed of grass and dirt, cradling Sakura-chan close to him. It was true. Sakura wasn’t his… but this Sakura-chan…

He stroked her cheek, just as his clone had done, and savored the feel of her supple skin against the rough calluses of his hand. Definitely better in person than through a clone.

Even if it was just while she was stuck in the future, this Sakura-chan could be his.

Naruto: Well, um … it’s no big deal, really. It’s, uh, I was looking at the window because I heard the birds chirping, right? And while I was looking, a … a spider crawled in and went under the bookshelf …

Sasuke: 

Sasuke: That’s it?? You’re a grown man, Naruto. You’re the Hokage, for sage’s sake! Get up, find a shoe, and kill it!

Naruto: I … I would, but you know Kurama is scared of spiders and won’t let me get too close, so —

Kurama: Bullshit! I’m not the one who shrieked like a baby when he saw it come in!

Naruto, blushing: I did NOT shriek like a baby! And anyways you’re my personal guard, right Sasuke?? Isn’t it your job to protect me from enemies and threats?

Sasuke, sighing and getting out of bed: Fine, fine; I’ll get it. *picks up a sandal off the floor and carefully moves the bookcase*

Sasuke:

Sasuke: … usuratonkachi? Was the spider you saw the size of a fist?

Naruto: Yeah.

Sasuke: With visible fangs?

Naruto: Yes.

Sasuke: And making a weird growling noise?

Naruto: That’s the one.

Sasuke: I see. *calmly moves the bookshelf back into place and gets up into bed, shaking like a leaf* In a situation like this, there’s only one sensible thing to do.

Naruto: I already tried calling Sakura but she’s in the middle of doing a surgery!

Sasuke Uchiha

He isn't the kind of guy to outwardly dote on you.

He's never been good with words or physical touch, more so preferring quality time together. You sleep in the same bed, eat meals together when it's convenient, and lounge around together when time allows.

When you come home from a last minute doctor's appointment with some big news, none of that really changes.

He assures you that he's happy, that he loves you, and this is all wonderful, but that's about all you're going to get out the emotionally constipated man.

However, while words may not be his strong suit, actions certainly are.

It's become painfully obvious that you are never allowed to go anywhere alone ever again.

He's like a shadow, following you everywhere and anywhere you decide to go. It doesn't matter that you're just running to the market- he's coming with. Ino invited the girls over for a dinner party? Cool, he'll walk you there, hang around in the shadows outside, then walk you home.

When questioned, Sasuke only says that he doesn't trust other people. Already knowing how he is, you don't push him any further. (Not that he'd entertain you if you did.)

People notice pretty quickly. He's not subtle and it's not exactly common for the Uchiha to be so openly clingy.

You wanted to keep the pregnancy a secret for a little while longer. You knew that his status would make the whole thing bigger than you'd like and it was still so early, only about eight weeks in. But people were becoming more and more insistent with their questions.

"Seriously, did something happen? He's been watching you like a Hawk for the past month."

"It was cute at first, but now it's straight up creepy."

Sakura and Ino dramatically shiver at the notion. You laugh, imagining how unsettling this all must look from the outside.

"It's fine, I promise. He's just been a little overprotective since he found out I was pregnant."

They don't register it at first. They just nod in understanding and move to sip their tea. You can almost see it click in their heads before they slam down their cups and start freaking out.

"Wait, WHAT?"

Naruto Uzumaki

"Congratulations! Based on the ultrasound, I'd say you're about five weeks along. It's still early, but you can see a tiny sac right here-"

Your mind is going a thousand miles a minute, thinking of everything and nothing as the doctor points out the tiny, centimeter-long blob in the picture.

Naruto had been bugging you for the past three weeks about a smell. He swears it's nothing bad, just that Kurama is insisting that your scent has changed and- blah, blah, blah. You never could get any more information out of him, which just left you to eventually cave and visit the doctor. Animals have instincts for a reason and who were you to ignore them?

Turns out, that damn fox was right.

After a half-hour lecture on what you can and can't do anymore, you were handed a goodie bag of essentials and sent on your way.

You barely remember the walk home. Your mind was completely blank as it tried to process the news. It wasn't until Naruto was standing in front of you in the doorway to your home that you finally snapped out of the trance.

You stared up at him. His eyebrows were knit together and he was asking if everything was alright. He pulled everything out of your hands and not-so-gently set them on the floor.

"I'm pregnant."

His eyes blew wide and not even a second later he was smiling, pulling you into him and spinning you around. It's over just as quickly as it started. He's setting you back down on your feet and looking you over, mumbling a few hollow apologies for manhandling you. He takes a deep breath, that lopsided grin on his face never leaving.

"You're pregnant."

Just those two words have all the fog clearing from your head. Reality is forced onto you in an instant. In any other situation, it might have made you dizzy, but right now you couldn't be happier.

"I'm pregnant."

Shikamaru Nara

He really should've seen this coming.

Honestly, with how careless he is with protection, it's a wonder how you hadn't gotten pregnant sooner. A year and some change of not bothering with condoms and lazy, half-assed pullouts had finally come to bite him in the ass.

Although he knows this is all going to be horrifically bothersome, he can't find it in himself to be all that bothered. No, not when you're standing in front of him so nervously, little tears gathering on your waterline as you hold out a slip of paper for him to take.

He pulls you into a hug- a very tight, very intimate hug. One of his hands is on your lower back, pressing you into him, and the other is in your hair to cup the back of your head. He can feel the stress start to melt from your body as you relax into him, your arms moving to loosely hold him back.

"I'm sorry. I know this wasn't exactly planned..."

It definitely wasn't planned. He didn't like to think about things too hard. The only talk about the future he'd engaged in was a brief confirmation that you were both interested in pursuing each other exclusively and that neither were against marriage and kids.

But even though this was sudden and unprompted and definitely not what he was expecting when you asked to talk with him privately, he just couldn't find it in himself to be anything other than pleased. Sure, he would've liked to wait a few years and it preferably be after he'd properly proposed and married you, but none of that is deterring him.

He loved you. He didn't say it as often as he probably should, but that didn't make it any less true. You were easygoing and passive and fit into his life with no resistance. His friends liked you, possibly more than they did him. You liked to cook and he never had to worry about you causing trouble.

This was fine.

Not troublesome in the least.

"No, this is... good."

Kakashi Hatake

He was positive he was sterile. He'd have to be after all the injuries and trauma he's sustained, right? Four years and not a single scare, yet here you were, apparently three months pregnant, handing him a report from the OB's office.

He couldn't even form a sentence. He just sighed and sat back onto the couch with his eyes closed. It's only eight in the morning, it's too early for this, not that there'd ever be a great time.

"I knew you weren't going to be thrilled, but now I'm starting to get nervous. Can you please say something?"

He held his arm up and gestured for you to come towards him. When he could feel you brush against him, he grabbed your wrist and carefully yanked you onto his lap. You let out a relieved, albeit hesitant, chuckle as he slowly wrapped himself around you, his head finding solace in the crook of your neck.

The two of you stayed like that for a little while until he let out the loudest, most dramatic groan you'd ever heard leave his mouth, followed by a mumbled 'are you sure?', to which you rolled your eyes.

"Yes, I'm sure. Here, you can see for yourself."

You unfold the paper and pulled out a few pictures. He shifts you around so you're at a better angle before he takes them into his hands. It's obvious that he has no idea what he's looking at- just that the blob is already baby-shaped and very, very intimidating.

You point out some of the obvious things, the head and feet and such, before moving down to the very last photo at the bottom.

"And that little spot right there means that we're having a boy."

"I thought they couldn't tell the gender until later."

"It is later, Kashi. Fourteen weeks."

He lets you take the pictures from him so he can set his hand on your stomach. You'd mentioned gaining a little weight recently, which he honestly hadn't noticed, but now he's wondering how he could've missed it as he brushes his fingers over the slightest most obvious bump in your usually flat stomach.

He must've been zoned out for too long, because you're calling his name and setting your hand over his. He hums, a slight acknowledgment that he's heard you, but you know he's not actually listening.

He's too busy thinking about diapers and bottles and late nights and early mornings. How his son is going to be in the same class as his student's kids. How Gai is going to be a hundred times more annoying in the coming years.

But then a single thought completely derails his spiraling. He wonders what your baby will look like. If he'll be a morning person like you or like to take naps like him. If they'll accel in genjutsu or not, because while he certainly does, you most certainly don't.

He's spent time with Kurenai and Mirai. While raising a person definitely seemed difficult, he couldn't deny that Kurenai was happy. Actually, despite Asuma's untimely death, she's the happiest he'd ever seen her.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, just... thinking about how annoying it'll be to tell everyone we're expecting."

"Seemed more like panicking to me."

"... shut up."

Naruto winces from where he's limping down the dark, empty streets of Konoha. His hand clutches his broken and bleeding arm, dragging himself at a slow pace. His clothes are tattered, pieces of fabric practically breaking away in the wind. His pant legs and sleeves are gone, his jacket is falling apart at the seams with burn marks and holes. God, he thinks he's leaving a trail of blood behind him-

Sakura's going to have his head when he shows up at the hospital like this. He shivers at the blurry thought of the pink-haired woman. She would kill him if she knew that he insisted the chunin at the guard gates not call anyone to assist him to the hospital, promising to them that he could do it himself and that the wounds were superficial. And he could! He survived a war damnit, chakra exhaustion and blood loss is nothing!

Oh wow, he was so dizzy. His chakra veins are almost empty, stores drained. What little is flowing through his body is sluggish, moving at a snail's pace. Distantly, he could hear Kurama in a panic. Hm. That's probably not good.

Naruto giggles deliriously against the wall of the building he was using to support himself. He looks up at the sky, bursting into a fit of laughter. The moon was so pretty and round tonight... it was such a beautiful night. The wind was soft, the moon was full, the crickets were screaming...

Huh, he didn't know crickets could scream.

And was that thunder he heard? Movement close to him catches the corner of his eye, and he barely manages to turn his head before his knees buckle and he's collapsing onto the concrete. He doesn't react to the skin being scrapped off his uncovered knees, body numb. Wow, is this what floating feels like? Maybe that's why his vision is going spotty and dark.

He feels gentle hands grab at his face, tilting them up. His eyes meet a pair of sparkling ones wrinkled in concern. The figure was wreathed by the moonlight, body alit with a soft, white glow. It looks like wings. A soft voice calls out to him through the static in his ears, mouth forming the words, "-Ar- you alri-?" The last thought Naruto has is, "an angel," before his head droops and he blacks out.

You weren’t sure what you were expecting when you were taking your 3 year old daughter to the hospital because she had the flu, but it certainly wasn’t seeing the savior of Konoha bleeding out and almost dying on the side of a street.

You stand there in shock before screaming, beginning to run towards him with urgency, your daughter in your arms. As you approach you watch as he drops to his knees. Hurriedly setting your daughter down, you grab at his face, hand immediately going to his pulse on his neck.

“Oh my god, are you alright?!” You say, panicked. His eyes are glassy, and he only manages to weakly giggle before his head drops and his body slumps, eyes closing. “Oh my god! Uzumaki-sama!”

You can’t just leave him here, but the only thing you could do is run to the hospital- But what if he dies out here? You can’t have that on your conscience! But you can’t carry him, you don’t have that strength-

You scoop up your confused daughter and make a run for the hospital two streets down, your shoes pounding against the pavement.

﹒⪩⪨﹒ He wakes up to the sound of heart monitors beeping steadily, his eyes groggily opening. Fluorescent lights beam into his sensitive gaze and he groans, closing them again. He knew heaven had to be bright but he didn't know it was hospital-light bright...

Naruto heard soft giggling reach his ears, and he blearily blinked his eyes, craning his stiff neck to stare at his surroundings. By his side sat a beautiful woman. Her hair sparkled in the light, her eyes soft and gentle. He stared in awe. Was this the angel he saw?

In her lap was a small child. Her hair was just like the woman’s in color, except it was pulled back into two pigtails. She wore a little mask that covered the bottom half of her face but her eyes glittered with mirth. Was this the angel’s daughter? A cherub, was that what they were called?

His eyes drifted to the woman again, her face framed by the fluorescent light behind her.

“Beautiful.” He muttered.

His raspy croak caught the attention of the woman. She gasped. “Uzumaki-sama, you’re awake!”

“‘m not dead?” He slurred, blinking his eyes again. Wow, he was dizzy. His head hurts.

“No, you’re not. But you could have been, you idiot.” came a familiar voice from the foot of his bed, and he felt sweat drops bead down his forehead. Ah. So he wasn’t dead.

“Listen, Sakura-“

“Don’t ‘Listen Sakura’ me, you knucklehead!” The pink headed medic hissed. “A broken arm, pulled hamstring, fracture in 5 of your ribs, several gashes on your legs and broken arm, a severe concussion, severe blood loss, severe chakra exhaustion and you told the gate chunin, 'I'm fine'?!”

Naruto winced. He didn’t know it had been that bad-

“If Mrs. (Y/N) here hadn’t been there to see you bleeding out and dying on the side of that road, who knows what could have happened!” Sakura said, exasperated. She pointed at the woman who was sitting by the side of his bed. “You were lucky she was there!”

Naruto’s gaze turned back to her. Wow. She really was beautiful. “Thank you,” he said sheepishly, uninjured arm going to rub at the back of his neck.

“It was no problem.” She said with a smile. Naruto tried to ignore the sound of his heart rate monitor beeping faster. “I’m just lucky this little one here needed some cold medicine,” she says, giving her daughter a finger to wrap her tiny hand around, muffled giggles coming from behind the mask.

The gaze of the small kid turned onto Naruto who was still lying down, before she twisted in her mother’s lap and asked, “is he going to be my new daddy?”

Naruto thinks he just choked.

“Don’t be silly, love, Uzumaki-sama is just a man who needed help.” The woman chides, tapping her daughter on the nose.

Naruto isn’t listening. He’s too busy trying to force his heart rate to stay normal.

“I’ll be taking my leave now, I have to drop my daughter off at daycare then go to work.” The woman says, getting up with her child in her arms. She smiles at Naruto once more. “I hope you make a full recovery, Uzumaki-sama.”

“…W-wait-“ Naruto says frantically, searching the room. “Sakura can I borrow your clipboard and pen-“

“What? Here, just take some paper and the pen.”

His attention turns back to the woman. “Write your number or address down? I want to thank you properly sometime when I get out of the hospital.” He says, gesturing for Sakura to hand her the pen and paper.

“Oh, I couldn’t! It was just basic human decency, you needed help-“

“Please? For- for my sake. It’s not basic human decency, you saved my life.” He pleads.

She hesitates, before sighing and taking the pen, scribbling on the paper. “Okay, if you insist, Uzumaki-sama. I’ll leave my telephone number with you.”

His heart soars. “Thank you.” The woman begins leaving the room, smiling at him. “Once again, I wish you a safe recovery Uzumaki-sama!”

Oh, Naruto was cursed from the beginning. When Namikazes and Uzumakis fall for someone, they fall hard. And Naruto was both.

He thinks his face is red and his heart won’t go back to beating at a normal pace as much as he wants it to.

“Sakura?”

“Hm? Yes, Naruto?”

“Can you punch me?”

“Wha- are you insane? You’re still concussed!”

“Do you have cures for love sickness?”

“What are you talking about? No.”

“Then I need you to punch me. Because I’m in love.”

“…Oh! Oh. Oh, Naruto.”

“Yeah…”

Naruto re-read XXXI

Chapters covered: 245 - 262 Thirty-one Volume of the manga / 2nd Volume Naruto Shippuden

Disclaimer: This is intended as a list and simple observations of the topics that particularly interested me in the aforementioned chapters, in that sense, do not expect a linear -or totally deep- analysis.

649) I’m guessing since this arc is Naruto’s reintroduction after a few years the reader needs to be reminded of Naruto’s importance to others but it gets annoying after the fourth time another character spends four pages remembering how good guy he is.

650) With a total of nine members (eight in the fingers of the Gedo Mazo, plus either Deidara or Sasori who is outside the panel), it takes Akatsuki three days to seal the one tail inside the statue (here’s a better view of the number of members). The only one whose absence is mentioned is Orochimaru. Zetsu seems the only one capable (or at least asked to), move one of his physical beings while maintaining his ethereal connection with the sealing of Shinkaku. Ichibi’s chakra seems to be red, like Kurama’s.

651) Kisame is mentioned to have the largest amount of chakra, to use “that Jutsu”. It’s unclear if Kisame has the largest amount of all of them or the largest amount in comparison to Itachi (plus them being the closest by since their objective was likely Naruto). It’s established that Naruto, Kakashi, and Team Guy fought two pawns to which they each gave them 30% of their chakra. The copy’s strength is determined by how much chakra of the original they’re given. 

Kisame was able to use multiple water-jutsu-based attacks and create three water clones, trapping most of Guy’s team in the process with only 30% of his strength (not to mention Neji mentioned Kisame had a similar amount of chakra to Naruto when Kurama induced during the Chünin Exams). Itachi had more difficulties when against Kakashi. Regardless, they gave up thirty percent of their chakra and controlled their copies whilst sealing Kinkaku.

652) Team Guy must be the fastest and the cell with the quickest reflexes out of all K11, the three youngest members were able to deflect Kisame’s attack (Lee), push him away (Neji), and throw a bomb at him (Tenten) in mere seconds.

653) Akatsuki’s reason for waiting almost three years to move: Sealing bijuus requires “preparation”, it’s mentioned that this is when sealing a bijuu inside a human’s body, the Gedo Mazo doesn’t look human so the setback seems strange, is there a little hint at Kaguya already? Sakura knows about the nine tails yet doesn’t know what a bijuu is? It’s established that the tailed beasts are top-secret, so Sakura just knew about the existence of Kurama, not Ichibi or the rest (x). Naruto also didn’t seem to know the quantity of bijuus across the world.

654) The Gedo Mazo opens its eyes when receiving bijuu’s chakra. Each complete eye means a specific tailed beast has been trapped inside the statue. There’re two bijuus already sealed when Gaara is brought in (x).

655) Sakura doesn’t know how Itachi looks nor notices any resemblance with Sasuke, apparently (x). Itachi doesn’t seem to know Sakura’s name (x) there’s truly no reason for him to; he knew Kakashi’s as they met before he fled Konoha and Naruto was his main objective, Sakura was just Sasuke’s teammate and he never showed interest in that knowledge. He seems to learn each of the names at some point, tho (x)

656) Sharingan-induced regular genjutsu can’t be broken similarly to a regular (non-doujutsu invoked) genjutsu can: For starters, you need at least another person with you to either disturb the victim’s chakra and release them from the illusion, either that or physically harm them to awaken them. In Itachi’s case, his Mangekyou Sharingan-induced genjutsu (Tsukuyomi), simply can’t be broken by anyone other than Itachi. According to Jiraiya, to break free from a Genjutsu (genjutsu being a technique that controls the enemy’s chakra flowing through their cranial nerves) you need to disturb or stop your chakra.

657) Kakashi knows about Itachi’s loss of eyesight, it’s implied that the reason he knows is because he’s been using Obito’s MS and lost some of his eyesight too. 

658) Itachi is so proficient in Genjutsu that he can cast it through his finger (x), Naruto didn’t even realize he was in a Genjutsu until Itachi made it clear. 

It’s interesting how Naruto dreams of each of his friends/comrades and how it reflects their dynamic: Sasuke wants to kill him = lack of acknowledgment / Sakura’s illusion is subjected to her desire for Sasuke = broken promise / Kakashi calls him a disappointment = couldn’t protect his friends, and Gaara speaks about how unfair it is that only Naruto gets to be happy = couldn’t reach him.

659) Genjutsu (regardless of its origin) can’t affect shadow doppelgangers (x).

660) Okay, what does Sakura exactly know then? (x). She read Tsunade’s reports, knows about Kurama but doesn’t know about bijuus or what a Jinchuuriki is despite knowing about Naruto’s nature as a vessel for the fox; how come she can’t connect the dots? Naruto also doesn’t seem to know why he is a Jinchuriki (x, x), so what did Jiraiya teach him, exactly, besides Rasengan? Sakura’s concern about the injustice Naruto faces is to take Kurama out of him (x), to seal a bijuu there needs to be a sealing jutsu with a power equal to that of the tailed beast (x) and no one can survive bijuu extraction. 

All jinchuurikis are created before the former host’s death, so it is likely that they all just… decide on a time of death, a successor, and they kill the prior host by extracting the bijuu.

It’s touching how Sakura cries for Naruto in this scene.

661) Naruto doesn’t seem affected by having killed Itachi’s vessel (x), I wonder if he killed before this.

662) Chiyo was the one who created the Seal that sealed Shukaku inside Gaara. The seal seems to be faulty, or the merge incompatible, as Shukaku tortured Gaara constantly through his mind (previous post) - (next post)

A NaruSaku kid would've been COMPLETELY overshadowed by literally any other hypothetical Offspring

Imagine if Naruto got with Sakura

That would mean Sasuke's possible options would've been with Karin, Ino or even Hinata (pair the spares)

Sasuke x ANY of those combos would've completely screwed over an NS kid genetics wise

Sasuke + Karin = A Child born between a Full Blood Uchiha and an a Full Blood Uzumaki with Sharingan and all the capabilities that come with it, Lots Uzumaki Stamina, Fireball Jutsu, Chakra Chains, Chidori, and a Built-In Healing Factor. Could've possibly unlocked a New Doujutsu.

Sasuke + Ino = A Child born between a Full Blood Uchiha and an a Full Blood Yamanaka with Sharingan and all of it's Capabilities, Fireball Jutsu and Mind Transfer Jutsu

Sasuke + Hinata = A Child born between a Full Blood Uchiha and an a Full Blood Hyuga with EITHER Sharingan or Byakugan (or Both???) and all the Capabilities that come with them. Full on Genjutsu and Taijutsu Abilities. Fireball Jutsu, Twin Lion Fists, 64 Palms, Susano'o, Rotation, Chidori, AND not even getting into the fact the hypothetical Child would not only be of Hagoromo AND Hamura's lineage (just like Boruto and Himawari) but could've also unlocked a Brand New Doujutsu if Boruto's Jougan is any indication. (Who knows if it would've still been Jougan or a Sharingan-Jougan hybrid)

Now let's look at the possibility of a

NaruSaku Child

Now how do we judge how a Naruto and Sakura Offspring would've turned out?

Well let's take a look at their actual Kids

Naruto + Sakura = A Child born between a 1/2 Blood Uzumaki and an a Full Blood Haruno (lol) would result in...

A 1/4 Uzumaki and 1/2 Haruno Mix.... With Shadow Clones, Rasengan, Sage Mode from Jiraiya and Super Strength inherited from Tsunade (lol)

Judging by Boruto and Himawari, this kid wouldn't have the Uzumaki Stamina since neither of them appear to have high Chakra Reserves. Unfortunately it's too diluted since they are only 1/4 Uzumaki

Even ignoring Kurama's death (😭)

Naruto still wouldn't pass down anything from Kurama to his kids

Rasengan and Sage doesn't come from Naruto but rather Jiraiya

Strength and Byakugo Seal doesn't come from Sakura but rather Tsunade (and Mito)

There's no guarantee that they would've gotten Tsuna-er I mean Sakura's Healing Jutsu either (Sarada is terrible at it and she doesn't use it at all in the Manga)

Now let's take a Look at where Boruto, Himawari, and Sarada's Strengths lie

BORUTO HAS:

THE JOUGAN : Confirmed to be a Doujutsu that laid dormant within Boruto and Toneri activated sooner. Now why do you think Toneri did this? Do you honestly think this was because of Naruto? Or the Girl that Toneri actually fell in love with?

KARMA/KAMA: Boruto was confirmed by the Databooks to have acquired Momoshiki's Karma because of his Byakugan Blood. Specifically his Hamura Chakra. Now who's side of the Family did he get that from?

SHADOW CLONES: From Naruto

RASENGAN: From Jiraiy-er Naruto 😅

GENTLE FIST: From Hinata

So in reality, Boruto clearly got more benefits from his Mom's side to be as Strong as he is.

SARADA HAS:

SHARINGAN: Is a given from Sasuke of course

FIREBALL JUTSU: From Sasuke

CHIDORI: From Sasuke

GENJUTSU: From Sasuke

SUPER STRENGTH: From Tsuna-er Sakura 😅

That's.... about it really for now. Yet she's was just acknowledged by the current Strongest Character in the Manga at the moment to have really Strong Power to the point where he was shocked by it (and as of yet NO ONE ELSE in the Manga has spooked him this much)

And as far as we can see, given the above, this because of her Mom's Genes 😄

Boruto and Himawari got their Benefits from their Mom.

Sarada gets her benefits from her Dad

Sasuke literally HAD to get with Sakura in order to keep his child from overshadowing Naruto's lmao 🤣 😂 💀

I would like to point out that both Boruto and Himawari do have large charka reserves just not Naruto size since they weren't practically born with Kurama inside them constantly mix his own chakra with theirs. Boruto can make 4-5 shadow clones before becoming a genin when it needs Jonin level chakra.

As for Sarada you are right, but she did not inherit Sakura's chakra control as talent in medical jutsu is bad. Meaning her chakra enchanted strength will always be less then Sakura's and she will likely never get the seal which even Shizune in all her eyes never gotten.

So Sakura contributes almost nothing to her child and what she does give are downgraded from what she actually has.

As where Hinata has been confirmed to contributed a good deal of hers and Naruto's children talents.
