I see Arcane's marketing is thrusting a lot of blue on Jinx's persona, which is fine, but also a misdirection! I argue that the use of blue on Jinx represents THE IDEA that others have of Jinx rather than representing who Jinx really is. Jinx's true color, the one she paints over those closest to her, the one that represents her is PINK. Jinx is pink!

When we see Jinx in pieces either in or out of show where blue is the predominant color in the palette it's signaling to us the audience that this the Jinx that is perceived by the world around her, which includes Piltover AND Zaun. In this essay I will---

#arcane #arcane meta #jinx arcane #it feels wrong that the she's defined by blue in the teaser and marketting and even the murals #sure it's an eye-catching color but that's not jinx #it feels almost like the same mistake vi made with the whole jinx-powder dichotomy #jinx once defined by bright blue but over time that color has gradually receded from her outfit where it's more dominated by dark hues #and purple and pink #but now this misunderstanding is on a larger scale because now jinx is a symbol and is up for interpretation #like it's very interestingbthat for all the art done of jinx none has been the right shade of blue it's either light and natural in zaun #but unnaturally cold in piltover #it's what either one wants out of jinx #but the art where jinx is truly a part of it and alive is where dark palette and bright pink take over #idk it just feels like adding more blue just washes out the depth of jinx's design #it'll probably be super annoying when jinx's bday comes and people are giving her blue colored gifts #and she'd be thinking “goodgoodgreat... my favorite color is pink”#but she won't say anything bcuz a lot of the gifts are from children or something

stuck while playing the newest horrortale waterfall game??? I CAN HELP!!!!

below are Triglycercule's Tips And Tricks for beating the puzzles and such :3 WARNING FOR SPOILERS OF COURSE HEHEHE

ways to avoid certain death:

DONT say you'd fight for your life when goner kid asks

DONT take the river person's boat

CLOSE the door flap right before you go through the bushes

AVOID ending up with the temmies

DO NOT talk to sans/horror (even though its tempting... i know i know)

DO NOT open the water valve until the color puzzle is solved

(there might be more but i can't remember as of now, feel free to add on and i'll add them!)

the two puzzles i personally struggled with the most were the bushes and the colors. for the bushes i assume you have to follow what the echo flowers and this map says

BUT PERSONALLY? i just figured out the way to the bushes by guessing. the pattern is LEFT RIGHT LEFT (and then you'll get to monster kid and be able to get sans's bone!) (if not you end up with the temmies and,,,,, aliza dies D:)

FOR THE COLOR PUZZLE you have to use the word searches given to you below:

the way you use these word searches to solve the color puzzle is to solve them and then the letters NOT used in the answers are the solutions! i solved them already so here they are

the order is BLUE RED GREEN!! input that into the water valve below sans that you unlock after returning the bone from monster kid to him and.........

YIPPEE!!! ALIZA ESCAPED!!!! i hope this was helpful :3 i am very lazy. i dont know how i had the time and patience to do this on my own. for those out there who are ALSO very lazy: this is for you. if i missed anything again feel free to let me know and i'll add it!

they should make a life where you don't have appointments, work, school and scheduled events every single day for months on end

#i just wanna spend like 2 full days rotting in bed is that too much to ask #december i'm going on a vacation with family + gf and we're trying to schedule a lunch/dinner so that we can go over the itinerery #and other stuff like my gf is diabetic so she's going to tell everyone the procedures in case of an emergency etc #and the soonest i'm available for that is oct 20th like bruh #every week day i've got classes 7:30-11:50 work 13:00-17:00 and then gym therapy or futsal practice at night #oh and sometimes the professor that i'm the student assistant (? monitor in pt) for wants me to go to her night classes #and then on weekends i've got futsal practice sat morning usually a match either saturday or sunday legal advice clinic 4x a semester #and then birthdays friend group meetups (with ppl i haven't properly seen in a WHILE so i don't wanna bail) family stuff or gf's family stu #oh and i take care of the finances of our futsal team so there's that as well #and then when i'm free i spend my time with my love (who i mostly see on either day of the weekend and sometimes for dinner on weekdays)#those are my favorite “appointments” i love spending time with her so much but even though we have quite a few staying in dates we also #pretty frequently go out to cafes restaurants parks meet up with mutual friends etc #so like... no bed rotting ever adfdsal #honestly i am not THAT busy compared to some ppl that i know #like i work from home most days of the week commute only 20 min to college am not a part of any study group etc etc #but man... that vyvense sure is working cause i do not think i would be able to do what i do now when my adhd was unmedicated #also i'm thinking of maybe getting a new internship next year cause even though i love my current one it's in public law which atm #is the field i'm thinking of getting into after school but getting into private law in brazil with only public law uni experience is #incredibly difficult. so i wanna be 100% sure i actually want public law. which means experiencing private law.#which means a private law internship #so i'm wondering how the fuck imma be able to pull that off next year #at least it pays much more than my current one! like probably double!#but honestly even with all the shit that i do and wishing i had more time for myself i've actually been so happy lately #i'm learning more at uni than i used to be able to i do pretty well at my internship i've got wonderful friends both old and new #my family is well and we get along like always i switched positions in futsal and am doing suprisingly good as a goalkeeper #and i'm in my first ever relationship. it's been almost 8 months till we made it official and it blows me away how good it's been #like we haven't faught once. disagreed on a couple things sure. but not a single fight and tbh even disagreements are very rare #idk we communicate and give each other grace and i just feel so loved. she knows me so well. i love her so so so so much.#like man just this saturday we were having an early dinner at a bakery. she stopped what she was saying and just stared at me smiling #and like i couldn't hold eye contact. cause she's so so fucking beautiful and she was looking at me with so much love and i had to look awa

Well, I really liked in Emerald Secret, when Zane got forever potioned and forgot Garroth was his brother- I absolutely love how it was paralleled in When Angel's Fall, when Garroth had his forever potion activated!!! Aaggghhh, the familial angst will always get me 😫🙏

If you were to have asked me in 2017 though, I would definitely have said when Zane and Nana first kissed in Starlight Wonderland!! I remember watching that episode as soon as it came out, and that scene was actually the very first scene, and in hindsight, the only scene from a show I've ever redrew. I colored it and everything and taped it on my wall 😭 my biggest regret in life is tearing it down in 8th grade(2019) because my friends came over and made fun of me for it so I can't show it off now 😔 Maybe I should redraw it 🤔
