—When you were first introduced, Kokichi immediately took interest in you because he admired your acting skills. You could pretend to be in any mood and he wanted you to join his secret organization and work for him.

—Even though he said his pranks were harmless, you had to refuse because you wanted to help people with your talent, not put them in pain.

—"How boooring," he then left you alone. You guessed that was the end of it but he kept watching over you.

—You were trying to help anyone, putting them before you and completely ignoring the fact that you had a life of your own and still tried to keep up with everybody although you hadn't have time.

—Watching over you from afar made him realise how lonely you actually were. He saw how unhappy you were and your efforts of trying to put a smile on everyone's faces when you clearly weren't at your best. That pissed him off, truly

—"Auch-" "You shouldn't have run so carelessly, you are lucky you didn't sprain your ankle." You said as you massaged his ankle gently and smiled softly. "Does it hurt? How does it feel?" You asked him. "It doesn't hurt at all." He said, looking away in annoyance.

—"Oh, really?" You slowly took your hands off his knee because he didn't need to be massaged anymore. He made a sad face, "Wait, it hurts now!" He said dramatically. "Oh really? What can I do for you?" "Y/n, if you kissed my ankle it would get better immediately." You rolled your eyes at his request and he started to cry. "Kokichi, these are obviously crocodile tears."

—"Aw, that's a shame.." He looked aside, "I am always lying so you got used to it, huh.. You should be careful around with liars, Y/n!" He claimed with a smile. But that smile faded away as soon as he looked at you. "Though who am I to say that.. I am already friends with one." He pointed at you and you stepped back, somehow offended. "M-me?! What the.. When have I ever lied, Ouma?"

—"Come oooon, you lie all the time! Don't try to deny it because I've seen it myself! Always trying to keep up with people and ignoring your needs.. That sounds like you, doesn't it?" He smirked at you, but that wasn't a real smile at all. "You don't really have respect for yourself, do you? Because lying to yourself is the worst.. Y'know."

—Sweating a bit, you started to panic. So he knew about it..? How come? Since when?? "You don't need to be afraid, I haven't told anyone about it..." He looked at you deeply, "..Not yet, I mean."

—"W-why would you tell anyone about it?" Your voice broke a bit. That wasn't your intention- You are showing weakness, Y/n, come to your senses!!

—"Because I care about youuu, isn't that obvious?" He raised an eyebrow at you but you didn't dare to reply. This could be a lie as well. "You're only keeping this a secret because you don't have solid evidence yet, am I wrong?"

—"'You totally got me!' That's what I'd say.. But I can't deny this is one of the reasons.." Kokichi pinched your cheek playfully and annoyed you. "So for now.. I'll stay by your side until you finally decide to open up to them, okay? Because I really want to see a smile on your cute face. And that's not a lie!"

—You looked at him in the eye, nodding uncontrollably. Cooperating for now. "So good, Y/n."

Keebo

—Kiibo admired you in a hardcore level. You were just what he wanted to become. You could pretend to be anything and you understood everybody pretty good, too. You helped them in the blink of an eye and always checked up on them if they did need anything!

—He was so happy and relieved to have someone like you around. You even entertained people with your talent.. Were you an angel?

—He followed you around like a duckling because he was always so curious about you and he wanted to know more about you. Your perspective, your dreams, likes, dislikes, anything.

—Thanks to Tenko's remarks of him following you, you finally asked what was up with Kiibo. He said he wanted to be more like you, and you asked him if he wanted you to tutor him? And he said yes!

—So you started teaching him. Teaching him how human emotions are supposed to work, without making any robophobic remarks,, unlike someone he knew,,, Kiibo was taking notes the whole time and you truly helped him to understand!

—Kiibo was thinking way too highly with you and he was really affectionate with you to the point where others started to assume you guys were actually a couple. Well, you weren't denying anyways.

—But.. Kiibo noticed a big contradiction in your words. You taught him how to make somebody happy when they're upset, you taught him how to check up on people and ask if they need help and the most important part... you taught him how to ask for help, too. But you never did that?

—Yeah.. Now that he noticed, your eyes never sparkled when you laughed and you seemed very upset most of the time. He found you lost when you were alone. He noticed how you were able to change your mood, but it never felt real to him, for some reason? Was it only acting? That was heartbreaking to him. The person he admired most was having a hard time with something.. And he didn't know what to do.

—"Kiibo? Kiibo!" You've been waving for a long time when he finally noticed your presence. "Ah, Y/n! Hello, sorry I didn't notice you."

—"It's okay. Is something the matter though? You looked really unpleasant." You say worriedly and he stares at you for a while before blinking away. "No, everything's fine. Though I can't deny something about you was bothering me..."

—"What?" You asked confused and he immediately freaked out. "Wait!! I didn't mean it to come out as rude! You never bother me. I am actually so happy to see you walking around--" He was stuttering. "Sorry, Y/n.." He apologized immediately, begging for your forgiveness. "No.. It's fine, what's up?"

—"Uh-uhm.. It's just..." He looked at you in the eye before turning his head away, "You." He sure loves to confuse you! "I.. I noticed it a while ago and I am not too sure but, Y/n.. Are you in a good mood?"

—Before you could even reply he continued. "That wasn't really a question, I just think what we see isn't the real you.. You seem upset all the time, why is that? What makes you sad?" You blinked few times. Was it obvious? But you were hiding everything.. Since when has he been aware? "I am sorry if I am asking too many questions! I just got worried.. Because you always help those around you but you never ask for help. And I don't like seeing you sad, because you are really sweet when you smile."

—"Kiibo, I am fine, really-" You held your hands close to your chest and kept explaining, "I appreciate that you're worrying, but it's fine. It was only in the past.. And I've recovered now."

—"But still-!" Suddenly he held your hands and you let out a little scream, "I want to help you recover, Y/n! I know how hard it can be and I am willing to take the burden, with you." Without letting go of your hands, he continued, "So please, don't go anywhere. Don't hide anything, and try to smile.. For real. I will do my best for you."

—And now you were facing a blushing Kiibo. How sweet. Bonus points if you are also blushing.

Nagito Komaeda

—My honest opinion? He couldn't admire you more. Ultimate Actor..? Just like many other people, he saw you as his idol and always looked up to you!

—Such big shining hope... Everything about you was just perfect and flawless.

—You two often teamed up, he thought he was really lucky and happy to have someone like yoy with them! Whenever the mood was bad, you stepped in to brighten it. Without your help, the others wouldn't have moved forward.

—He always thinks very highly of you and to be honest he sees you as his Ultimate Hope, so it took him some time to actually realise that was just you pretending to be a caring person

—The first time Hajime pointed out to him, he was confused a bit. "Y/n is... Depressed? What? Are you aware they're one of the most shining people here? They're truly happ-"

—"Just shut up and look closer." Hajime told him to watch over you more carefully, and left. Nagito was confused. Out of all people.. It was you depressed? The one Nagito feels happiest when around?

—"That's nonsense... My Y/n would never.." That's what he said. He couldn't sleep that night. He felt so awful for starting to doubt you. You were always so honest with him and everyone, was that only a lie?

—There he watched you, carelessly offering help to Mikan who tripped again. You spent no time to help her stand up, you were the one first moved to help. That cannot be a lie.. But at the same time, what if it became a habit of yours?

—He hated to admit.. But Hajime was right. You weren't like what he thought of you—yes, you were an admirable person with an amazing talent and you were the sweetest person around! But.. again, yes, something wasn't right about you.

—"Nagito!" You jumped to give him a tight hug and he awkwardly hugged you back. "Huuuh?" You looked at him and smiled, "What's up?? Why aren't you hugging me properly?"

—"Ah-Sorry! I am a bit sleepy, that's all, hahah." He laughed and pat your head (ejvnmrcmcjcnc) You raised an eyebrow at him suspiciously. Ever since you started dating, it was easier for him to fall asleep. "Did you have a bad dream or anything like that?" You asked worriedly and he shook his head. "No.. Uhm, Y/n, do you want to take a walk with me? Maybe we can talk a bit."

—You were confused but still went with it. The curiosity was eating you alive but you still remained silence-just like him. When is he going to speak...? "So—uh, Y/n, it is a beautiful day, isn't it." "Y-yeah, it's beautiful indeed..." You laughed awkwardly. This is no good.

—"Y/n.. I've noticed something. I should have noticed it earlier but I only noticed it now-" You gave him the look and he stopped breathing for a second, "Sorry.. It's just that.." He bit his lip and stopped. You got a little bit inpatient. "Come on."

—"N-no, that would make you uncomfortable." He refused to speak but you gently pinched his cheek, "Just tell me. We are good, aren't we?" You gave him the puppy eyes that he couldn't resist and he sighed. "I just think.. You are having a hard time being honest with yourself."

—That was the moment it all hit you. You stopped walking and stared at him in awe. "W..What do you mean?"

—"Now don't get me wrong.. I think you're adorable and that will never change, I mean just look at you! You are always ready to help anyone and put others before you--but.. Is this how you truly mean?" He questioned you and you gulped. Shit. He knew, huh.

—"It's not like I am gonna judge you or anything, Y/n." He took your hand in his tightly just for you to know he's there. "I just wanted you to know I am here, and you can talk to me about anything. You are not alone, you got me and others, don't you?" He smiled at you softly but your heart was beating too fast to say anything. "You don't have to become someone else and hide anything. We are going to help you, just like you always do."

(Usually a dress) I keep imagining that. Like exactly that. Hen presses a button on their suit and it spins into a dress. Is it impractical? Yes. Literally Impossible? Absolutely. But it's fun to imagine

Update on my game progress: I killed springhill jack and was deeply disappointed to find that isn't an unlockable outfit, I mean come on! That evil lair literally had two mannequins wearing it, and you're telling me Jacob didn't yoink one? Smh 😔

In terms of main story, as of writing this I have received the Hallucinogenic(?) Darts and got the cargo cables, also got poisoned. Now looking in a pirate basement

Also, hatred towards B button ended. "Follow this 50km/h vehicle with your wimpy human legs" quests are my new worst enemy

And! I was looking through the dlc and saw some individual outfits were free! I dont use the Evie one due me thinking her original is better. But Jacobs outfit "The Creature's Rags" looks v good! And I get to keep my hat <3, a bit sad to discover both cant be colored though

I greatly appreciate the fact that Jacob and Evie sorta level up together, so you can just decide to play as another when you usually play one, and the other wouldn't be horrendously underleveled!

Also! I forgot to acknowledge it but Rexford Kaylock being somehow related to Jasper sounds very fun. They've probably never met and never will, as I simply enjoy the thought of him being related

Oooh! And now I'm imagining Lucy agreeing to help the Rooks at some point, she walks onto the train to discuss plans only to immediately stop. Because there's Dr. Henry fucking Jekyll. Just causally lounging on a couch wearing clearly too big clothes (he stole them from Jacob) and sipping tea. Jekyll is in too much panic and shock to say anything so Jacob just slaps his shoulder and says "Henry here makes some of strongest and most useful poisons! He also helps fix some of our real bad injuries AND He gives us information on people from the aristocracy if we need it! <3" but all in like a tone of sheer affection and "look at my person, hes so talented, I recruited him myself, be jealous of how good he is at everything"

Robert circus man keeps reminding me of Robert Lanyon, and before I even knew his name, just how he acted and what clothes he wore

Ned! Ned my beloved <3. At first I was confused on why the game felt the need to mention that it was made by people of many gender identities and etc. But then! Trans character! Canonically trans character! I dont really play video games that much, and certainly not recent ones, so this may be a decently common sight, but it made me really giddy and happy to see <3

Rachel would probably find out immediately. She goes to Lucy's house to visit her brother on a surprise visit, is very surprised to see her boss drinking tea with Patrin and Elise, in the most fancy and most lacy dress she has ever seen. Hen would be absolutely horrified to see Rachel, Patrin/Elise/Lucy would probably start bubbling about how they started to work for them and how good they are at the job and doesn't that dress just suit them perfectly and Hen would look like they would want to sink into the couch and disappear. Rachel would probably only need a moment to realize, then she would be Hen's biggest supporter and make SO MANY DRESSES for them <3

I know exactly what you mean and I want Hen to have at least 10 of those. Maybe not a suit but more like a short dress like Evie wears that turns into a longer dress, just yes pls <3

I really like that outfit but I like Jacob to be a fancy fancy boi. I also have yet to find an outfit for Evie that I like, the only one I have found so far was the military outfit but you can't unlock that until you have done the WW1 missions and I promised to save those so my friend could watch me do those missions, you get to play as Jacob's granddaugther, I believe <3

Yess!!! It has always been really important for the team of AC to make sure to keep a diverse developer team and especially since they are working with history, it's important to have many different perspective on things, and it actually isn't until recently that they added sexualities and gender identities to that little pre-note on the loading screen! It was first just about races and ethnicities but I'm glad they are keeping it diverse and aren't afraid to show it. Jacob technically has a male love interest later on but... Spoilers <3

hey everyone!! so i’ve just about collected all of the sf entries, and i’ve been getting them all organized and in game. but you’re probably wondering, what happens now? so i thought i’d go over a few faq type questions in this post!! (if you have anymore questions, please let me know and i’ll add them)

general questions

what are you doing with our sims, anyway?

well! at the moment, i’m sorting cc, giving them lil makeovers so they all fit together/in my game, and figuring out where they fit in everything i already had planned. this is a teeny spoiler, but all of them won’t be auditioning- some are already trainees with SF! but knowing how they DID audition was important, so that’s what i asked for~ hehe. i didn’t want anyone to get hopes up because not everyone will be in the posts all the time- i’m still writing and figuring out dynamics and stuff, and i have my own characters too of course- but i’m hoping everyone will show up at least once.

what exactly are you changing about them?

i’ll be changing their appearance somewhat in terms of some skin details, makeup, and clothing (dependent on the scene in question). but i’ll be keeping them as close to the original sim as i can while getting them a lil closer to my style (and lessening the load on my poor poor mods folder, lol). also, personality wise there may be some changes, just to fit the plot. i’m keeping 99% of everything you guys said, but i’ll be adding some things too. just because, though there won’t be any over the top “villains” in my story, people (especially young vulnerable teens in a stressful situation) are complicated and have flaws!! but i won’t be making them totally different sims or anything like that.

can we talk to you about our sims more?

yes!!!! if you have something to add, feel free to message me anytime. i love bouncing ideas off people, it just makes stories 10,000 times better imo (and i’m more of a roleplayer than an author at heart, i admit it willingly lol)

what the heck is this story even about???

like i said in the casting call post, it’s about yoonie’s entertainment agency, sugar free. yoon isn’t a main character in this, exactly, bc i wanted to focus on new sims, like a next generation type of thing, but it IS his company. so his life will have a lot of influence over what’s happening in the story, even if it’s not all on screen (which is relevant to the next question). but overall it’s about the trainees.

are there any potential triggers i need to know about?

yes. note that a large amount of these mostly have to deal with backstory, and while they may be mentioned, might not actually appear in the posts themselves. however, i will still tag EVERYTHING appropriately just to be safe. and will do warning text posts in advance if something i didn’t think of before pops up. here’s the list for now:

i don’t intend this to be an over the top “dark” or mature story exactly, like i said a lot of this is rooted in backstory mentions, but there are some things that also just go along with the subject matter (homophobia, colorism, eating disorder, etc). it’s not drama for the sake of drama, but realistic i’d say. i’ll treat everything as sensitively as i can and, like i said, include appropriate tags. esp. regarding transphobia as my yoonie is trans and very candid while being in an environment that isn’t always accepting and kind.

how will the posts be formatted?

i’ve gone over this a lot in my head, because i’m always caught between doing subtitles on posts and writing in the description. so this is what i think i’ve settled on: the posts themselves will usually have dialogue subtitles. however, down below i’ll write a much more descriptive version of what’s going on, including all the dialogue from the subtitles. i hope this will help especially with people that find it difficult to see subtitles on pictures/just don’t like them that much, as well as people that don’t want to read everything in big blocks of text.

do you already have posts finished? is there a schedule?

i already have some posts finished and i’ve been doing a lot of writing. however, since i just got everyone’s sims, i’m still working out some plot points with new characters. there won’t be a formal schedule. i just wanted to share from my personal universe in a fun way (and see all you guys’ amazing sims hehe).

when does this take place?

2028. bangtan has been disbanded for seven years. sugar free entertainment is still in its relative infancy as a subsidiary of big hit entertainment. big hit still has the same CEOs, while jin holds a president position. source music still exists as a subsidiary, and so gfriend is still a thing, but txt does not exist here. for reasons... you’ll see eventually.

where does this take place?

two countries: us and sk. i’m using sim cities too, but i consider them to be “american” cities (ex. san myshuno). sfe is based in korea of course, but yoon does a lot of traveling and capitalizing on the western market (so he holds auditions in usa, canada, etc too)

simlish? english? korean? what’s going on with languages?

just because i like simlish (lol), in this universe simlish replaces english. but of course, i’m still typing in english so everyone that is an english speaker can understand XD plus, that’s the only language i’m fluent in... tho being fluent in simlish would be an achievement, haha. all other languages still exist, korean, japanese, etc.

Chapter Two - That One Time When Fred Went Out for Coffee Or, Why Being a Young Entrepreneur is Harder than You Think

Kensington, 1969.

Out of breath and flushed pink, a young woman strode inside a musty little stall in Kensington Market, the shop bell giving a faint sort of ding upon her entrance. Freddie, who was quietly cataloguing their inventory in a faded blue balance book, smiled when he looked up to greet his friend.

“Wyn Clemens! You’ve come to visit me.” Fred said, ecstatically skipping his way to her from behind the counter before hugging her shoulders.

The girl made quick work of untangling the woolen scarf she had wrapped several times around her neck and mouth, placing that and her coat on the hook by the door.

“I swear I’ve gone up and down the place twice and both times I’ve managed to miss you entirely! Blimey, I didn’t think it was this small.” Her eyes scanned the darkened interior.

Currently their stall was nondescript, tucked away in between a carpet wholesaler and a shoe repair place, hidden away amongst the plethora of other stalls just like it. Cozy was one word for it, cramped was another, more accurate descriptor. Really, it was more of a booth. There they sold various garments and accessories to clothe the young bohemians, rockers, mods, punks, hippies and everyone in between who seemed to frequent the market there. Their shop was manned and looked after by Freddie and his friend Roger, and only by them, which was why, while their inventory was not exactly vast, it did quite literally seem to swallow the entire place in velvet, faux fur, leather, and brocade.

“Hey!” someone yelled in indignation, “This is a very fine establishment we run here, I’ll have you know!” A blonde head emerged from the back of the shop, a little area sectioned off by a dark curtain. It hid a tall, narrow mirror and served as both their stock room and fitting room.

The girl raised her eyebrows, feeling slightly sheepish at having offended this new person. “Wyn, this is Roger, the friend of mine I’ve been telling you about. He runs this dismal dispensary with me.” He said, not looking behind him as he gestured his head towards the blonde’s general direction. “Rog, this lovely creature you see before you is my new friend, Wyn.”

“Ah, the Ealing bird. Well, I suppose I could let that slight go for your pretty face. The name’s Roger Taylor, very nice to meet you, love.” He gave her his hand to shake, his lips upturned in a smirk.

“Careful there, Rog.” Freddie reminded him, which earned him a mischievous look from the blonde.

“Wyn,” the girl announced, unfazed by Roger’s cheesy smile, “I’ve come bearing gifts!”

“Ooh! Gimme! Gimme!” Freddie cried happily, his hands making grabbing motions all the while.

Wyn tutted at his antics shortly before presenting him a brown paper bag. “I thought it would cheer you up, while you’re stuck here.”

Freddie opened the bag and what he found there nearly brought him to tears. The bag was filled with fresh pastries still warm to the touch as he poked his nose inside and took a long whiff. He placed it on the counter before examining the goodies one by one, a hungry Roger joining his side. “You do care, Wyn! It’s just like Christmas! And here I thought everyone had forgotten about me. It feels like I haven’t seen the sunlight in days.”

“Weeks, really,” Roger added mournfully, before stuffing his mouth full of pastry. They had both been cooped inside their store trying to peddle their wares since the weekend and it was now Tuesday afternoon.

Freddie had a dramatic faraway look in his eye, his mouth shaped in a forlorn ‘O’ before finally snapping out of it. God, Wyn thought, he really should have been in theatre.

“C’mon then Wyn, tell us about all the changes in the outside world,” Fred was prattling away again, “Is dear old Liz still on the throne? How about Coronation Street, is it still playing? And what about tie-dye? Are people still wearing tie-dye?”

There was a quiet moan of “Oh Jesus, that’s the spot.” that came from Roger as he polished off an apricot danish.

Wyn gave the two of them a fond chuckle, trying to ignore the ridiculous sounds of ecstasy from the blonde as he delved into a croissant. “Let’s see,” the girl gave a pause for dramatic effect, “Yes, God forbid anyone else who’s set their eyes on that chair. Everybody knows Coronation Street is for ever. And it brings me to tears just thinking about it, but yes, unfortunately, the tie-dye lives on.”

“I knew it! It’s useless, Rog.” Freddie shouted, calling Roger’s attention. “Just bury me in these fur stoles. Even if they’re not real at least I’ll be kept warm and they haven’t assaulted anyone’s retinas.” He had trudged over to a rack of miscellaneous animal coats and stoles and buried his face in them. His further rant became muffled and unintelligible as he cried into the mass of faux fur.

“How long has he been like this?” The girl turned to the blonde with a worried look.

“On and off since Saturday,” he informed her, brushing stray crumbs from his mouth. “We’ve hardly sold anything.”

“This is no good, come on Fred. You just sit down, I’ll go out and grab us a couple of coffees and come straight back.”

Freddie perked up upon hearing this and was almost back to his usual spirits. “I have an idea, can I go get the coffees instead, darling? I want to go outside, I want to hear the birds chirping and smell that London smog. Maybe that old lady from the fruit and veg stall could yell at me, that would really get me going.”

“Alright Fred,” she said with a comforting smile, pouring into his open palm a handful of coins. “Happy hunting.”

Freddie had taken off so fast he had forgotten to bring his jacket which he left still hung up on the door.

“That’s probably the happiest I’ve seen him all weekend,” Roger said, wistful.

“If he’s happy, then I’ve done my job.”

Wyn had started to look the clothing racks, her fingers stroking the garments in fascination. She also took out two or three items she had liked, inspecting them fully before shaking her head and putting them away, Roger meanwhile stood beside her giving his opinion on them. Soon he was entertaining her by spinning little yarns about several pieces, how they acquired them, whom they were worn by, all made up but increasingly fantastic.

“You looking for anything in particular, love?”

“Not really, whatever catches my fancy, I suppose.”

“How about now,” he said as he had stood in front of her, hands on his waist and a twinkle in his eye, “Do I catch your fancy?”

“I’m in the market for clothes today, Roger, not a boyfriend.”

“Who said anything about a boyfriend?”

“Uh-huh. Maybe some other time, Taylor.”

“Alright, alright.” he said, pacifying her. “Something to wear then. Something that will work for your figure?”

“I’d never be opposed to looking good.”

Roger was still flirting with her, but he also appeared to have a clear focus now, he was a man on a mission to find her something she could be persuaded into buying. “Do you like wearing patterns?”

“I’d give it a go.”

“How about colour?”

“Love them.”

“Any you’re partial to?”

“Every colour of the rainbow!”

Roger scoffed playfully in exasperation, she really was no help, but he enjoyed her company. “I think I have just the thing for you,” Rog said with a snap of his fingers before darting behind their makeshift stock room/ fitting area. He came back about a minute later with a frock on a plastic hanger.

What he presented her with was a white and green houndstooth dress in the mod style which had a black peter-pan collar and a short mini-skirt. Wyn let out a pleased hum, “I like the way you think, Taylor.”

Roger barked a laugh though he seemed to glow in praise, “That might be the first time a woman has said that to me.” He reached into his pocket and fished out a packet of smokes and a lighter. “Go on, then. Try it on.” He urged her, pushing her behind the curtain and sticking a cigarette between his lips.

Roger sported a boyish charm, all buoyancy and pent-up energy. Wyn thought it was ironic the way that he was blessed with the looks of a cherub by Raphael, yet flirted like a devil. It was little wonder Freddie had warned her about him when the topic of his friends came into conversation. Before she could wrestle the corduroy off her legs Roger’s hand had slipped in between the partition, throwing a pair of shoes at her.

“Black gogos? Oh, you really must be out to get me. I’m going to freeze out there.”

“You’re just fitting them on!” The voice behind the curtain replied. “You don’t have to wear them out…You don’t have to wear anything at all.”

“Ha-ha.”

“Just saying.”

A couple of minutes later she stepped out from behind the curtains, smoothing down the dress where it wrinkled a bit in her midsection. “What do you think?” she asked, striking a pose.

Roger took another large puff from his half-finished cigarette before putting it down on the ashtray on the counter. He began to sing lowly as he drew near to her, “Is there anybody going to listen to my story, all about the girl who came to stay?” There was another cheesy grin on his face as he took Wyn’s hand abruptly and led her into an impromptu slow-dance. “She’s the kind of girl you want so much it makes you sorry. Still, you don’t regret a single day. Ah, girl,” he sung as he spun her.

Wyn smiled, “I’m going to take that answer as a ‘yes’, but I wouldn’t know how I’d wear it though, my hair…”

“You could wear it swept back, or up.” Roger suggested, now extremely close. He removed his left hand from her hip and used it to gather her thick hair up and away from her face, fingers grazing the back of her neck.

Wyn cleared her throat, her cheeks and neck heating. “You think Fred will let me have this for cheap if I asked nicely?”

“I think if you asked nicely, he’d let you have the whole shop.”

“It’s probably costing him more to run it at this point.”

“Us both.”

The two broke out into a fit of laughter, not even acknowledging the customer who had just walked into the shop.

“Okay, Rubber Soul. So these are the kinds of guerilla tactics you’d stoop to for a sale?” Blushing furiously, Wyn pushed away from him when they finished their dance, choosing to hoist herself up onto the counter next to her bag of sweets.

“Only the best service to our most important clientele.” he said through half-lidded eyes.

“How much for this?” a voice said from behind them.

Roger groaned in annoyance having forgotten the presence of this third person. It was a shame Fred still hadn’t come back, that way he could have dealt with this new nuisance while Roger turned his attention to the girl in front of him. Rog barely spared him a glance as the man held up the garment in question. “Seven pounds.”

Wyn watched the interaction with great amusement.

“Five quid.” the man tried to haggle.

“Seven.”

“This button’s loose, five and five pence.”

“Six if you leave here now.”

“You’re fleecing me.” the man whined handing Roger the money with reluctance.

“Actually, that’s crushed velvet.” said Roger with a cool, impassive grace, plucking his cigarette from the ashtray and taking a puff.

Slipping on his new jacket, the man set off grumbling, nearly bumping into Freddie who narrowly avoided him, carrying a tray of hot coffees in styro cups.

“Took you awhile Fred,” Roger called, leaning against the counter and smoking casually.

Freddie placed the coffees down on a bench by the window. “Roger,” he began slowly with a disgruntled look in his eye. “Was that man just now, wearing my coat?”

“Huh?” this alerted Roger somewhat, he had stopped what he was doing. His eyes grew large as he looked to Freddie and back down at the crumpled note and small coin in his palm.

“Rog, you absolute pillock, did you sell my coat?”

“...Fuck.”

As quick as a bolt Fred had crossed the room in two strides, snatched the money right out of Roger’s grasp and ran back out the door. Freddie ran after the man who bought his beloved jacket, shouting and swearing like a madman all the way.

At the end of the day, Wyn had felt so guilty she ended up paying for her things in full. She had no regrets though. Sure she was down a couple of pounds, but she had managed to get herself a great fitting dress, and a killer pair of boots, not to mention the favour of the infamous Roger Taylor -- a feat she hoped she had managed with all her dignity intact. Or at least she hoped.

He went all silent now and doesn't say anything at all. Actions are sometimes more proof than words. They are dating if you want to admit it or not. I for me lost all my respect for the man and it's not about being jealous. It's because he claimed to love honesty yet he looks like a big liar and fool.

Mod I know I'm late to the party but I just woke up, checked the news, and I have to say I'm stoked that it looks like Norman might be finding love again! And who really knows what he and DK are like, they might be very good for one another, who knows! And as for people who are upset because he "lied?" How'd he do that exactly? Hey anon! I’ll have to preface this by saying that I don’t have any headmates/alters so I’m not 100% sure about what it’s like to be (part of) a system. However, I do know that DID is usually only diagnosed if there is dissociative amnesia--basically, when you’re not fronting, you don’t have any memories of that time period--and when there are two or more fully seperate alters. If one or both of those criteria aren’t met, you can still qualify for a diagnosis of OSDD (otherwise specified dissociative disorder) which is applicable if you have facets, alters, or headmates but don’t fit all the criteria for DID. Also, I think BPD can include alters in its presentation but I’m not sure if that’s because it’s often comorbid with DID or OSDD or if it’s a part of being borderline in and of itself. Also, I think it’s possible to be a system without having experienced trauma, but also I think that it might be possible that someone could experience trauma and their mind repressed the memory, or they downplayed it as being ‘not traumatic enough’ or are in denial. Of course I have no way of knowing if that is the case for you, but i thought it might be worth mentioning. From what (admittedly limited) knowledge I have on system formation, what you described (’peeling apart’, confusion, co-conciousness) is relatively common in the formation of new headmates. As far as where Steven came from, medical models explain being a system as a dissociation and compartmentalization of memories, experiences, and personality traits, forming an entirely different consciousness (personality/alter/headmate) from the host. If you’re looking for a more metaphysical answer, I’m probably not the right person to ask, I’m not a spiritual or religious person in the slightest. What’s most important with regards to that is, what makes the most sense and brings the most happiness to you and Steven? there is no right or wrong answer apart from something that is actively harmful. As a psychotic, I’m no stranger to beliefs that most people don’t understand (including myself, most of the time), so basically anything that isn’t harmful is just as valid as anything else--it’s just a way of trying to make sense out of chaos.

The most important thing with any neurodivergence is arguably how you deal with it. It seems like you and Steven have built up a rapport, so that's good! Keep an open dialogue about everything relevant to this stuff so you can decide how to proceed from here. It’s possible that more headmates will emerge over time so it’s important to keep each other well-informed and have a system (ha!) in place for that. If you want to assimilate, that’s a valid option, and if you want to stay a system, that’s another valid option. I’ve heard of systems that will delegate tasks based on individual strengths and preferences, so that could be handy. Have each other’s backs (ha!) you’re in this together! <3 I love you and you’re valid!

Since that’s about the extent of my knowledge on systems and DID, I recommend getting in touch with dissociative-specific blogs and doing some research to try to get a clearer understanding of what’s going on. Also, any followers want to help? Other mods? Reply, ask, or comment!

Well, it was a crowded intersection and at dinner time, so no one stopped, and it's impossible to track any down. My dad was panicking, so he just followed the guy. We went on holiday abroad on 21st of May and got back on the 7th of June and imagine my surprise when in the post I have found the letter from insurance company with the certificate of insurance enclosed and them thanking me for deciding to stay with them and saying that my monthly instalment is 130 pounds!!! (because apparently i decided not to the the brakedown cover that i had before!!!!) Hi guys. Well, to start out with I have my driver's license address set to my uncle's house in pembroke pines, FL, but I live here in Hialeah Gardens, FL. Why do I have it set to my uncle's house you ask? Well, back when I was 18 (i'm 20 now) my mom persuaded me to set my insurance address (progressive) to my uncle's house so it would be cheaper.
