This man is so confusing you don’t know if he is screaming inside or just doesn’t care😭
Would blame his deaths on you or the internet
Would keep on dying like he is so bad at the game😔

Elrond hides from the stars, at first. Morgoth's hazy corruption hid the sky, at Amon Ereb, and the Feanorians didn't spend much time outside at night anyway– it was dangerous, even for hardened warriors.
Maedhros and Maglor taught them about the stars of course, they were determined to give E&E education befitting of elvish princes, and no such education could be complete without thorough studies of both astronomy and the elvish star lore from the days of Cuivienen. Still, while they could chart the course of any star across the sky, and tell the tale of any constellation, E&E rarely actually got to see the stars.
They could, on rare nights when the smog wasn't so bad, see Gil-Estel, brightest of them all, faintly shining through the haze. They knew what it was. They didn't know what to think about it. The Feanorians didn't like discussing it, so E&E didn't either.
But then, Elrond and Elros left the Feanorians. Maedhros and Maglor sent them away from just about everyone and everything they'd ever known. They came to Gil-Galad's camp as traumatized children who were treated as objects of curiosity, veneration, even suspicion. Eyes follow them everywhere, and their gaze is never neutral– always approving or disapproving, angry or joyful, awed or fearful.
Gil-Galad's camp, guarded by Maiarin soldiers, is nearly free of Morgoth's corruption. For the first time, E&E see the light of the sun and moon in their full glory. They also see Gil-Estel, burning brightly against the dark sky; no faint light.
Elrond doesn't like it. He feels like Gil-Estel is watching him. When he tries to explain this to Gil-Galad, he's met with sympathy– of course Earendil is watching over him. But Gil-Galad doesn't understand.
Elrond hasn't gotten used to being watched, being evaluated, at Gil-Galad's camp. He'd never felt that way at Amon Ereb– where there had been far fewer elves and his presence had quickly become normal. All those elves watching him now? Viscerally uncomfortable. And the thought of the father he barely remembers being another set of eyes judging him is unbearable. After all, what if Earendil doesn't like what he sees?

Miquella is nice
After finishing the DLC, Miquella made me think a lot. Before the DLC, he had a rather… one-sided image, I don't know what else to call it. He was incredibly kind, and we saw references for his connection to St. Trina initially (because we still remember Gwyndolin, who lived as girl. And we know Fromsoftware loves the archetype of the sad feminine young man). Miquella was a victim, was a martyr, and was an incredibly kind soul who prayed for Godwyn and invented a true miracle - the Golden Needle, which can help to hold the rot.
But the DLC absolutely turned his image upside down! And it makes me very sad to see a character's incredible transition and acquisition of a new layer of morality (gray) labeled as "bad writing" and "fuck GRRM he spoiled my baby boyy :(((((".
Today after talking with my spouse (He always helps me realize any fragments of lore. Sometimes I have a hard time understanding the simplest things that everyone has long understood and accepted. Also! Happy birthday to my beloved!), I could only finally understand why everyone is getting so worked up about Michella, even though we've had a scenario similar to his "The road to Hell is paved with good intentions" a long time ago. That was Laurence, everyone's favorite in Bloodborne, and Gwyn (he really wanted good things and it didn't turn out well :/), etc. I'll also remind you that the fandom (in the general sense) of Fromsoftware games is very fond of villains, and that's fine. But for some reason, when Miquella turned out to be not the good guy everyone wanted him to be, no one appreciated it. And I tried to defend him to the last in a discussion with my husband - Miquella sacrificed everything for the "greater good" in his understanding of the word, Miquella went the way of renunciation, Miquella knew how to love and loved his sister, Miquella wanted to correct all the sins of the past.
However, unlike most Fromsoftware villains, Miquella HIDES his atrocities (even from himself). Nashandra, Shabriri, Micolash, anyone - their motives are clear. They have principles, egos, backstories, justifications for wanting to be a destructive factor, some have these reasons built in at birth, some are insane, etc. Miquella, on the other hand, finds followers by Dishonest means, condemns Radahn to suffering for which to end the festival is organized, leaves his sister to die, condemns Mohg to be a puppet in his scheming, and still thinks of himself as a VIRTUE. He believes that the era he is about to found - will be good and bright. And with words of goodness he kills us in battle with Radahn!
Miquella is a golden apple with a very rotten core. We don't know, really, at what point he started to "rot". What's funny is that of the two twins, Malenia was rotten on the outside and he was rotten on the inside.
Miquella's center is in love. He carries self-love everywhere, charming and falling in love with almost everyone. That is why Malenia says, "My brother will keep his promise. He possesses the wisdom, the allure, of a god - he is the most fearsome Empyrean of all." I think he is the type of child who got used to being loved. The problem with this type is that he can become a wonderful person, or he can turn into a monster who will take love and attention at any cost. (My spouse reminded me here of stories of crazed maniacs who kidnapped those they loved and dreamed of a nonexistent future, not realizing the damage they were doing.)
But there are many questions that, perhaps, everyone should answer for themselves?
What vow did Miquella make to Malenia?
In my opinion, Malenia was not charmed by him. I've always wondered WHY she waits for Miquella at the cocoon in the Tree, even though it clearly shows Miquella being stolen???? She knew, she probably knew his plan originally. She had been waiting for his return like a god. But what had he promised? That when he returned, he would cure her of the rot permanently?
When did Miquella begin his "fall"?
There is no denying that Miquella was a good guy. He tried, he tried to help his loved ones. He looked up to Radahn as a child with respect, as the description of Remembrance of a God and Lord says. Miquella was in harmony with his other self, Trina. But what changed him? Failures? The desire to save everyone at once? The desire to be the most loved? To be perfect - a god? I'm inclined to think it was all of those things that corrupted him at once. After all, as a favorite child, he may have been flawed deep inside from the beginning.
Miquella had resurrected Radahn as a young, beautiful warrior, just as he had been before. But Radahn does not utter a single phrase during the battle, and his movements are more automatic. Radahn feels nothing, and it makes me think more and more that he's more like Miquella's wish come true, his hope of having a worthy consort he loved by his side.
Is Radahn a puppet or a future lord?
Nothing has been confirmed. I've also read that Miquella's spell was broken when his rune was split, that's how many NPCs come to their senses and realize everything. But I think his power would be enough to, like a necromancer, control a resurrected one? And honestly, it's unlikely Radahn would have wanted such a fate. He was holding back fate itself, the stars, so that what did happen to him in the DLC wouldn't happen. Thanks to Miquella, Malenia had turned Caelid into a solid rotten mess and blossomed her divine flower, and left Radahn in an insane state waiting for a noble death at the hands of other warriors. Miquella mutilated him. I don't think Radahn would have appreciated his methods, considering how dedicated he is to warriorship and uprightness, and also honors Godfrey.
What would have happened if the Age of Compassion had happened?
I think it would have been VERY bad. And after a major flourish of life and honoring Miquella, there would have been a decline and another Shattering. Miquella shows himself to be a man who does not tolerate dissent. I think there would have been a flowering of the Inquisition, persecution, murder, and brutal tyranny. And Radahn, most likely, would have simply been "squeezed out" by Miquella and destroyed by his boundless love. Yes, Miquella rejects his love, as @jarognieva correctly pointed out. But he rejected, in my understanding (we need a clear translation from Japanese here), his destined love, i.e., his intended spouse, Trina? Just as Radagon was Marika's spouse. Our Marika is a deity, but she is capable of love - her love for her son, Godwyn, caused her heart to break.
Fandom cancelled Mohg, now he is cancelling Miquella. People don't accept and don't want to comprehend the things that make them change points of view. That's how the witch hunt begins! So stop being shitty and decide for yourself what you think of Miquella before claiming him a "bad written character"
Miquella, as a character, has become an incredible bastard, manipulative and truly evil with a mask of piety. He doesn't go into battle as an honest warrior, he uses others. He "sacrifices" himself by actually sacrificing everyone else. But doesn't that make him MORE interesting?
He's broken a lot of headcanons, but I sincerely hope that the wave of love for him as a VERY gray character will still come! After all, he's a worthy villain archetype! A true evil hidden in a pure soul. How many fanfics, how many musings can be spawned from that. No need to deny him, rather try to accept Miquella for who he is. And don't make it into "good" or "evil". There's a particular aesthetic to how awful Miquella is.

New Nessa ref! I felt her last design was too modern, and kinda looked bad
I'll drop the lore under this cut!
Vanessa grew up with very strict parents, wanting her to grow up as their perfect figure. They made sure she never ate too much, to get "fat" they wanted her to have a perfect figure, appeal to everyone and seem perfect in every aspect. They tried their best to appeal to the human kingdom, "fixing" everything they could to make the humans like them. They arranged and agreed on a marriage between the princess and the prince. Things seemed to be going well, and the prince and princess seemed to actually get along. One day though, Vanessa's parents died and she had to become queen. The reason is unknown for their death. The prince was sent to law school, in case any mishaps had happened between their relationship and no one else was around to help. Vanessa also had a brother, but he was younger than her, so he could not be crowned. At some point Vanessa and the prince had a baby, before the prince went to law school. Vanessa was left at home to take care of the baby meanwhile the prince went off to study. Since she had been raised very poorly, she didn't know much about babies or how to take care of them, and was still very weak from what her parents did, along with the trauma that it gave her, and always thinking she needed to stay that way, and that that's all there was. A scientist of the royal human family has tricked the queen into doing experiments, saying the prince had requested for her to do this. She trusted the prince, so she thought it was okay. The experiments caused her to die, but in an odd way. She wasn't fully dead but fully alive either. This scientist had a weird fascination with werewolves and wanted to experiment on them, and the only one he could get his hands on willingly was the Queen. Since the queen was still alive somewhat, she was very furious and scared. She basically went crazy and thought everyone had betrayed her, and went on a killing spree. She had completely forgotten about the baby, and no one else knew about the baby since it was kept a secret since people might kill her. The Queen had somehow gained ice powers from the experiments, causing a huge blizzard across the human kingdom. She eventually retreated to her kingdom, crying in agony as she realized she had already done the same to her kingdom as well. Her brother was dead, but was still a ghost, much like the others but the others had retreated, scared of what had happened. They panicked, hiding everywhere. Vanessa had gone back home to her brother, asking for advice. He tried to console her the best he could, but there was nothing that could be done.

Sorry if you've answered this before, but why do you hate the reboot so much?
well, actually, I’ve already talked about this several times here
I hate him because it ruined everything for me. I’ve been in the fandom for quite a long time and it’s not just a fandom, it’s already become my home, it’s one of the few things that makes me happy, that can bring me good emotions, I had it during the terrible periods of my life, I’m very close to the show and the characters, I love this very much, I can’t take it any simpler, I just can’t. I built so many things, I had so many ideas, I thought about the holes in the plot and in the lore, about the characters, about what could have happened before and after the canon, taking into account almost everything that was said in the canon, I really tried to do everything logically and as best as possible. and now that this has come out, everything I’ve done all these years has become worthless in an instant, I don’t know what to do now. previously, no one cared much about my ideas and creativity either, it was almost of no interest to anyone, and now even more so. people only like the reboot, they don’t like anything else, they don’t always like the original either. I don’t like it, I don’t want it this way, and it’s everywhere, I can’t even hide from it, it’ll get me everywhere, everywhere they will shove it at me, everywhere they will equate my headcanons to a reboot, everywhere they will call my designs peri and irep, and they will be surprised that I use the original canon, wow. I can isolate myself from artists or writers that I don’t like, but I can’t with this, it makes me sick, I want to bang my head against the walls.
and in general, the reboot itself is pretty mediocre, let's be honest. it may not be downright terrible, but it’s pretty boring and mediocre, and it’s only being singled out for its beautiful graphics (and even then, computer animation doesn’t suit the style and it looks bad). if it weren’t for all this, I simply wouldn’t care, but I really don’t understand how people can lick this so passionately, and also say that this is a masterpiece and much better than the original, well, excuse me of course. they forgot about the canon, if you are making a direct sequel in the same universe, as reboot are very fond of repeating all the time, then can you at least, I don’t know, normally review the original cartoon? seriously, there's a change in how Cosmo and Wanda met, well guys, I wanted to cry. it feels like everyone who created this didn’t watch anything other than season 9 and half of season 1 (and then only with one eye and background), otherwise I don’t know how to explain these huge holes and illogicality. and the fans are also good, they’re sitting there, they haven’t even watched the show and are already proving something to others and doing something, well, are you serious or what. how many fans of the reboot will cry if I say that fairies canonically cannot have children not from fairies, but how can that be, but what about the children of perirep оh how did it happen🥺🥺🥺 and the fact that Cosmo and Wanda should be fairies of Timmy's children and not on some vacation and with Hazel, because it corresponds to the time, well, who cares about stupid original. and this is not an isolated case.
and also, simply because I didn’t like the reboot (at that time I didn’t hate it yet, I just didn’t love it), so much shit was thrown at me than I had ever seen in my entire stay in the fandom. I was called a racist simply because I don’t like Hazel and I think that she’s not an interesting character, well, because after all, we know that everyone who doesn’t like the reboot is racist, really, yes yes, that's the truth. and also in response to criticism of the reboot, they told me to grow up, touch the grass and that I’m toxic, oh how cool, and after that it’s me who’s bad, it’s me who needs to be cancelled, I DARE NOT TO LOVE A N*W W*SH OMG, that’s how it works yes.
I have enough reasons not to like the reboot and its fans, especially after what happened to me. I really feel bad watching this, it ruined my whole summer, it was terrible, it was so terrible, if they release a season 2, I don’t know how I’ll live, I don’t think I can stand it. I don’t want, I don’t want to see this, I want the fandom to die again, I feel bad, it’s killing me from the inside.
ой достали меня эти омерекосы все вам объяснять надо😑😑

I think im gonna need to Hide Tumblr from myself, Before I get a weekly streak of absuing the ask button!...Haha, I've honestly gotten curious way to curious and I know curiosity killed the cat but maybe im more of a dog? Lol, your Ocs are just all so lovely and make me wanna beg like a Victorian child in need of food. I just can't get enough of them. You're amazing at character design! And that had me wondering if you've ever considered getting into writing? From one of your newer but still old videos, you mentioned that you're oc world lives rent-free in your head, and that made me relate to you alot my world is always getting built in my head and one I started written my Ocs storys not in a lore format but more in a story way as if i was writing a book it just seemed to help me place everything together and was curious if you tried or do write storys with you're ocs while most people on here dont like reading Oc stuff if you did ever write something and shared it on here id jump to be the first to read it. (My apologies for all the asks I spend to much time on here...haha.) As an Oc ask im way to invested in learning your Ocs lore well more like world lore from that one video I mentioned earlier Id always been way to eager to know more about the complicated Oc universe so as an actual ask to not waste your time hows Seren's universe set up hes an Incubus/Succubus so that must mean his universe has some sort of hell given he's friends with Rouge (From your pinterest post I think Seren being a sore loser is hilarious.) And from your All of my god ocs plus any one who Relevent video Alodias and Celeste are the first incubus and Angel made so does that mean the god ocs are connected to Serens universe and seeing from the fact Fern and Seren play with there kids dolls and are friends and fern and her husband are hybrids? (Ferns a bunny?...and her husbands a Wolf.) it just makes me curious because that means the universe is filled with alsorts of creatures and then if the god ocs are connected to it, it just seems like a very interesting world and seems very creative and I love it! (Sorry for such a long post...I cant help but abuse the ask button, ill try my best to keep in check!)
-🪼
OH BOY OH BOY OKAY
So i’m gonna try to make this as simple as I can manage to
basicallyyyy I have different oc universes that all kind of coexist at the same time next to each other while being separate from one another
I’ve categorized them in my head kind of like this;
- god realms (not technically a universe but the gods and all the creatures in their realms know of and can interact with all the other universes)
- serenverse (unofficial name lol): basically just base level stuff, kind of just regular earth with more mystical creatures in it (like succubi/incubi, hybrids, etc) this is the universe most of my ocs kind of get automatically shuffled into if they don’t fit into the specific niche of my other universes in my brain ☝️
- fantasy universe: the universe where all the damn whimsy is. Kings, queens, princes, princesses, mystical/magical creatures are entirely the norm, it’s not like regular earth at all- it’s completely disconnected from anything like that. This is where my ocs like Sephtis, Carlin, Cassiopeia, Lunarus, Reef, Ezekiel, Pluto, Florian etc would be! This is also the universe where *my* gods are the most known, widely accepted, and worshipped!1
- Apocalypse universe: the universe that’s closest to being like our world buuut if everything went to shit because a war machine ruined it all. I made this universe specifically for Khaos and Tigre lmao
now getting into god stuff!1 my gods exist everywhere all the time in allllll the universes regardless if the people in those universes know of them or not
for example, in serenverse, the gods are mostly seen as mythology (like how we’d view the greek gods) though some people do know of/believe in them! The reason for creatures like incubi and angels existing there is because some of the ones born in the gods realms just migrated down there and reproduced annnd there ya go. the timing of that happening would’ve been like millions of years ago so it’s already kind of a norm in that society I suppose
while in apocalypse verse nooone of that “exists”it’s literally just a parallel of our world
BUT in my favorite universe, fantasy, the gods are veryyyy very real to the people there!1
this is gonna get even more confusing I apologize but here we go
each of the major gods has their own realm and creatures that they made to inhabit them-
likee
keveah - incubi/succubi
fallon - angels
keres - fire demons?1?
rosalite - cherubs
Lyrastra - literally every living thing on earth + some magical creatures on certain versions of earth
reaper - he didn’t make anything he’s literally death. though most people’s souls reside in his realm!
anywhozies all of the gods realms are like their own mini universes where they and their creations live! They’re all unique and kind of like their own little towns and cities in there.. I have pinterest boards for their realm inspo but I don’t feel like getting into ALL THAT
okay okay moving on. Specific ocs of mine were born in those realms, like rouge, and have the ability to traverse between realms and certain universes as they please because of that!
in the case of incubi and angels,, angels are never born on any version of earth! They’re always born in fallon’s realm no matter what, so there isn’t really such a thing as an angel born on earth (same goes for cherubs and fire demons.. basically any other creature that isn’t an incubus)
buuut incubi and succubi, because of their nature, are doing whatever the fuck and reproducing willy nilly wherever. So! There’s terms for incubi/succubi born in keveah’s realm versus earth- which would be
born in keveah’s realm; sin born
born on earth; earth born (self explanatory)
sin born incubi and succubi can go from the god realms to earth (whichever version) as they please but earth born incubi/succubi *can’t* because they were born on earth so they don’t have that power!1 whoopee!!2
annnd unfortunately seren happens to be earth born (he’s literally half human) so he can’t do any of the special stuff like that. Rouge just has like.. multiple clubs spanning keveah’s realm and the serenverse because I thought it would be silly lol
anyways that got terribly ramble-y and idk if it made a lot of sense but yeah!!2!? lore kind of?? uh!!! there’s definitely more to this but I need to stop rambling good god

Fontaine, as a whole, is a nation I feel was so nearly perfect, but also just... somewhat unsatisfying.
Like, the exploration is nice, the puzzles and mechanics are fun, but... it's so easy. I have the entire map 100%. I didn't use a guide for most of it (only for Special Stuff like the treasure maps and foggy branches), nor did I have the treasure compass. All I had to help me was the hydroculus resonance gadget. The only regions in the game I got to 100% without any guides before was Galesong Hill (which, tbh, most ppl probably have at 100% or close %), and Hypostyle Desert (simply bc the underground ruins were so much fun to explore). Everywhere else I used a guide for at some point. During 4.0 I literally felt like I had to hold back on exploring just to not finish it too quickly. Yeah.
The world quests have a lot of interesting stuff going for them, especially the Narzissenkreuz questline and the ones in/around Merusea Village. But... they feel like they're missing something. I don't feel like I'm properly done with any of them, even though there isn't really anything more to add. The Narzissenkreuz quests had a very strong start, I cared about the characters involved and the lore they're a part of, and having it be 3 questlines that combine into one comprehensive story was really fun, but the ending feels... unceremonious almost. I can't pinpoint what's wrong with it, it answered what it needed to and it made it clear what everyone was doing going forward, but... it feels off. Anticlimatic, almost, despite it having the climax it needed. The world quest I was most satisfied with was the Questioning Melusine And Answering Machine quests, and it's a largely self-contained one. Everything else feels... unfinished, almost. But also not.
And the Archon Quests are so so good, but also... weird at parts. First of all, Childe's out-of-nowhere traumadump early on is jarring, especially since... they didn't really follow up with it properly? Like yes, the Narwhal and Skirk ended up relevant but... not to him, for the most part. The important questions this conversation prompted wasn't elaborated or followed up on, which is what could've justified including it at all. We still have no more clues as to why the Narwhal connected with him, we don't know what caused his restlessness or why his vision messed up, and Skirk was kinda just... there. She loredumped and that was that.
There's other oddities too, like Traveler getting upset at the twins for hiding their Fatui affiliation. Traveler has every right to be upset with them in that moment but... not for that. They should be upset because they lied about the magic show, not about being Fatui. Like, you literally called Childe you're friend just the other day! And he's literally tried to kill you (well, okay, not "kill", but he was still an enemy)! And later on you're suddenly fine with Arlecchino, a person we have seen time and time again is an absolutely terrible person? Because, what, she cared about this one specific problem that affected innocent lives? Really?
Furina and Childe not getting checked up on by basically anyone at the end of 4.2s AQ feels not only out of character (you're gonna tell me Traveler isn't gonna check on them after all that happened? Really?) but also just... very shitty. The only one who seemed to even care was Neuvillette, everyone else just kinda... forgot about those two. Despite the fact that 1) Furina was a well liked public figure who, even after the truth was revealed, people very much still cared about, and 2) Childe literally saved the entire nation but stalling the Narwhal for over a month. Even Neuvillette couldn't so much as deter that thing until he got his full powers back, and you're telling me nobody, not even the people who where directly saved by him, even wondered what became of him? Really?
The characters are fantastic here, don't get me wrong, everyone is lovely and I adore them all, but the way the story handled certain things is just... not great. It's unsatisfying. It feels like there were things they wanted to do but either chickened out of or simply didn't get to include. It's so jarring.

Kaleesh lore post: Miminskl and Ouhlma
Miminskl and Ouhlma's story is something I've been working on for a while and I've decided to make a lore post on them since I'll probably never get to properly expand their history in my fanfic because it doesn't focus on them that much. Obviously, this post will contain a certain degree of spoilers to my fanfic if it matters to anybody, so be warned.
Tumblr media
Under the cut for length!
Miminskl Puhulu, born Miminskl lig, was born on the year of 109 BBY in the higher levels of Grendaju. At her time of birth, the lig clan had already been dwindling in numbers and were "losing all of their glory" as the elders said it. (That's what you get when you only marry between the same clan for generations and isolate yourself because you feel "superior" to all the other clans) Miminskl was always a rebellious and "liberal" child. At a young age, she noticed the flaws of her clans ways and promised herself to never end up like them. To her luck, her parents were semi- supportive of her thinking and went out of their way to not only teach them the lig clan language but also Kaleelual and Kaleal. They knew how to speak Kaleelual and its predecessor because before settling down and marrying each other, they travelled all throughout Kalee to sell lig swords. At the age of 13, Miminskl was already crowned as an adult and had her new name: Puhulu (meaning: Threatening and/or imposing in lig). Her role in her village was to hunt for food and fight against neighbouring communities if needed. Her parents did want her to become a merchant but the girl sucked at leading a peaceful conversation with potential customers, often times cursing their entire bloodline whenever they'd suggest a cheaper price. Her happy days at the village were short- lived. Only three months after being crowned an adult, did the village's elders already start planning a marriage between her and a distant cousin. Repulsed and enraged by this, Miminskl made no efforts to hide her complains and even went as far as to personally protest against the elder council and chieftain of the lig village. Miminskl's parents tried their best to stand up for their only daughter while keeping her at bay. Their attemps didn't work, if anything, it only enraged her even more. Soon, Miminskl had her bags packed and every relic relating her to the lig clan destroyed. She had officially left her clan behind at the young age of 13. For many years, she never stepped a foot on Grendaju and instead, lived a nomadic lifestyle between the isolated eastern regions. If necessary, she'd help along at some villages to eat some good food if rations were short. But even then, she never made a big name for herself. Not like she wanted to. All Miminskl wanted was some peace. However after a while, once she matured completely, Miminskl found herself becoming a lig sword merchant and blacksmith. Quite ironic. Until she turned 65, Miminskl hadn't checked up on her parents. It was wishful thinking to assume they'd still be alive, but a part of her had always wondered what had happened to her parents. A part of her still loved them, after all. And so, Miminskl returned back to Grendaju, climbing the mountains for days, almost dying in the process. She had forgotten just how cold the frigid continent could be. But soon, she found herself surprised. No longer did huge lig clan sigils proudly stand in front of the village's entrance. Rather, multiple clan's sigils stood there. But the fabric was torn. Everything was quiet. The woman wandered through the village; torn huts and broken tools everywhere. Whoever had taken over her old village n- years ago was attacked a while earlier. Yet it had to be a short while, as all Miminskl could hear once approaching a certain, torn- down hutt were soft whines. A pup. And that was how she found Ouhlma, laying half- asleep in her pup cradle. It didn't take long for her to find out her name and clan. "Ouhlma kel" was engraved on the wooden cradle. She was a loved child despite being very young, surrounded by plushies and warm clohts. Maybe that was why she hadn't surrendered to hypothermia unlike the other younglings in the village.
Miminskl couldn't just stand there and do nothing. She took in Ouhlma as her own and raised her with all the love and affection a child would want. But with a new mouth to feed, she had to compromise some things about her old life. As much as she wanted to return back to hotter lands, a new threat started emerging: the Yam'rii. Not wanting to endanger her daughter, Miminskl found shelter in a village not so far away. It was where she found out what had happened to her clan and this new village. The lig clan village started getting into trouble with their neighbouring and growing villages. This led to a short war, the lig clan lost and were doomed to travel further up and settle down there. Ouhlma's village had been attacked by a pair of Karabbacs a while back.
Ouhlma grew up also learning lig, Kaleelual and Kaleal. She was also trained in lig sword combat and was an excellent warrior and hunter. However, Miminskl was an old mother, her health started declining once she hit 80 (Ouhlma was 15 at the time). She unfortunately met her end at the age of 85. Ouhlma did not take Miminskl's passing easily, she was extremely attached to her late mother and valued the sacrifices she had done all just to raise her. The same year Miminskl died (24BBY), Ouhlma moved out and went on to make a living as a nomad mercenary. But her times as a nomad mercenary were cut short. While visiting Kaleela, Ouhlma met Qymaen (AKA Grievous). They both bonded over their most recent losses (Ronderu and Miminskl) and ended up sleeping together. Ouhlma got pregnant and married Qymaen because of it.
Yayyyy, first lore post in a while. I hope you had fun reading this. Feel free to ask questions :3 ( @pastel-kaleesh @alenchikova )

Fran Bow Theory from Reddit
"I'd like to preface this by saying that I am by no means experienced in coming up with theories on my own. However, Fran Bow is a game that I really like, and I figured that for fun I might actually try and figure out what was going on. So I tried to pay as much attention to detail as possible and take notes. And what better place to share what I think than with you? I don't know if anyone out there even still thinks about this game, but if there is anyone, I'd love to hear your opinions. This isn't a complete theory in itself. Fran Bow is such a dense game in terms of lore and in terms of symbolism versus reality that I think the best way to approach decoding the game is to try and examine parts of it at a time. For this post, I thought I'd pitch one idea: could Fran be a twin? Some evidence that might support this:
1.Twin imagery in this game is everywhere. The most obvious example is Clara and Mia, the attached twins that Fran encounters, but Fran's mother and aunt are also very important to the story.
2.It is also later revealed that much of Oswald's research centers around twins. Gemini symbols in the twins' house, pictures of apparently the same twins over and over in different places, attached and separated. Different ages, different times. Multiple Frans. We see Fran's body several times (doctor's office in Chapter 1, being eaten by kamalas in Chapter 4), and also are confronted by several Ultrareality versions of Fran. The "Young Fran" we see at the end of the game.
3.This one takes more explaining. To start, when Fran wakes up chained in her bedroom in Chapter 5, she decides that to escape she needs to contact herself in "the same place, but a different time" (paraphrasing, but that's the idea).
4.Also worth mentioning that when this does happen and we see what we think is a past version of Fran, the room changes very little outside of some aesthetics being removed. Same wardrobe, same bed with chains, same door placement. So is what we think of as Fran's room actually in the asylum?
5.Next, young Fran herself. Young Fran knows who Itward and Palontras are. She talks about traveling to Ithersta, as if she has done it many times. Our Fran in the beginning of the game acts as if she has lived a normal life up until her parents were murdered. Young Fran, on the other hand, acts as if she has lived in the asylum her whole life, and has always known about the many realities. Which one is the real Fran?
6.Aunt Grace tells us at the end of the game that Lucia Dagenhart, Fran's mother, tried to hide Fran from the asylum, but they discovered her betrayal and killed Fran's parents because of it. The timeline doesn't add up here. Oswald and Grace knew that Fran was going to be born and were very much anticipating it. How could Lucia have kept Fran hidden for so long? Or, if they did find out earlier and Young Fran really is her in the asylum, then what happened to Fran's parents? And why would the game start with a completely different storyline?
With all of that in mind, here is my take. Everything we hear about Oswald is true as we hear it. He was very invested in his studies of twins. He experimented first with Lucia and Grace, and later Clara and Mia. Years and years went by. Oswald ran some sort of experiment on Lucia, hoping that she would give birth to a child with some kind of special significance or ability. When he found out that Lucia was pregnant, he was eager to begin experimentation on the child. Lucia, however, did not want to give up her child. Maybe she knew that she would have twins, or she found out after giving birth. (It was the 40's, they didn't have ultrasounds yet.) Either way, Lucia gave birth to twins, and decided to give only one of them to Oswald, while hiding the second. The girl that we think is Young Fran in Chapter 5 is actually a different person altogether. Raised in the asylum her whole life, already knowledgeable of the many realities. Our Fran, on the other hand, was raised in a loving home by her parents, until Oswald and Grace learned of her existence and came for her. The rest is explained in-game: Remor manipulates Fran into murdering her parents, and she runs into the woods, where she is finally retrieved by the asylum and reported dead in the news." Luisa hates nightmares. They made her relive the past that she wanted to forget so desperately
Set in 'A beautiful art'
There were people. A lot of faceless people. They were everywhere. Luisa wanted to scream, but her voice had died inside her throat as her lips were deathly cold. She wanted to move, she needed to move, to escape. Eyes were looking at her, they appeared at the walls, at the selling, all looking at her. Her body was squeezed. Luisa tried to move, she desperately was trying to call her strength. But she couldn't. This body wasn't hers, she could never control it.
The people started to pull her, and Luisa was falling. Down, deeper and deeper. They didn't let her escape. They never allowed her to be free. Everything was flashing, the oil slipped down her shoulder. The body was shining gold.
Luisa almost jumped off her bed. Her heart was beating heavily in her chest. She clenched her fingers, looking at how her fingers were moving. She wasn't restrained. She wasn't
bound. She could... she could move. She reached for a chair where she left her ruana and quickly pulled it closer, wanting to wrap herself in her ruana. Not only was it comfortable and warming, but it also was more clothes for others to look through. It covered her. Maybe, Luisa would be able to hide the painful shame. (She wouldn't).
"Are you okay?" She startled, frozing for a moment upon her cousin's voice. Dolores stared at her from the edge of Luisa's bed. How come she didn't notice Lores earlier?
"I'm fine," Luisa muttered through her gritted teeth; she hated it when people acted like she couldn't take care of herself. The fact that everyone acted like they were walking on an eggshell with her only made her more frustrated. The only thing she wanted is to return back to normal. "What are you doing here anyway?"
"You were tossing over in your bed and kept screaming," Dolores admitted, Luisa pulled her ruana to hide her head as her arm twitched. Hiding herself in Ruana was one of Luisa's defense mechanisms when she was scared since the day Mirabel gave it to her.
There were no words to describe how much Luisa hated it. The museum kept piercing into her soul with its sharp claws every time. It didn't let Luisa go... Never. She wanted to scream at the top of her clay lungs. Why couldn't she be free? Not physically, but mentally. She had her gift back. There was no physical way to restrain her with it (But what would happen if she lost her gift again?) but it didn't change how terrified she was. She didn't feel safe. Her brain was always ready to act in case they would try to take her back. The feeling of safety now seemed as something unattainable, a foreign concept that was washed out of her memories.
Luisa wanted to be free, return to her strong self. She was the strong one, wasn't she? (She spent months after Casita's fall, learning that she wasn't.) Why couldn't she just be like she used to? She wanted to stop feeling dirty.
"What happened?" Dolores tilted her head, whispering worriedly. Luisa looked away, not saying a word. After a few seconds, Dolores sighed. "It's about what happened when you was..." She added in realization.
Luisa's breathing hitched, she wrapped herself in Ruana tighter. She didn't want to think about it, she wanted to forget. Why couldn't they all act like nothing happened? (Like she wasn't hopelessly broken with no chance of recovery.) "Stop." She breathed out, her voice was barely audible, but it wasn't a problem with Dolores.
Her older cousin squeaked. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you."
And now she made Dolores feel bad, just great. "It's fine." Everything was fine, Luisa was fine. (She was supposed to be fine.)
Casita clicked its tile from the outside of the room, Luisa looked up a little, trying to see what it was. Dolores just nodded. "Stay here." And in a quick rush, she disappeared like a ghost. But it wasn't like Luisa planned to go outside anyway. She felt at least comfortable enough inside her room. When she was getting out, the heavy fear was ripping her body again. That they will restrain her again, that she will be back at the exhibition.
The home was safer.
It was another thing that was wrong with her. Luisa hated those people, she hated how much they changed her. She hated herself too. (And she hated herself for hating herself.) Why did she allow it to happen to her? If she had been more careful, she would never be locked up. What if she avoided this? (Maybe she wouldn't be broken then.)
Dolores appeared a moment later, pushing Luisa out of her thoughts. At a quick pace, she stood next to Luisa's bed with a steaming cup of fresh black coffee. Luisa blinked a couple of times as Dolores placed it on her bedside table.
"All like you love." Dolores looked at her. "Strong, without milk or sugar." Everyone knew that Luisa was the one who hated coffee with milk the most from their entire family. Well, maybe Tía could compete with her, they both were avid black coffee drinkers.
Still, the fact that Dolores made this... It was strange. Luisa didn't feel like she needed this, her cousin didn't have to do this for her. But it felt nice. "Thanks." She whispered and added a moment later, just in case. "You didn't have to."
"You're welcome," Dolores said as Luisa had taken a sip already. It was hot, really hot. Would take some time to finish. She didn't feel like she deserved it, but it was nice.

General Information:
Name: Sylus
Age: 28
Height: 6'2 ft; 190cm
Birthday: April 18th
alternative verses under the cut !!
Genshin Impact
Sylus is one of Hunter's closest friends. They grew up with the same father, since Sylus grew up without parents. He was suddenly put in front of Hunter's home as a baby and has since been treated as part of the family. He never knew what to do with his life, but was rather dedicated to studying the world in books. He had a knack for creating things, becoming something like an artisan. One of these things was a metallic crow, which he used to observe the area around his home, eventually even sending it further away, waiting days or even weeks for it to come back, show him recordings or make it talk about the things it had seen. He didn't truly understand but it did craw, so something must have happened.
When he turned 16, Sylus received his Cryo vision, having chosen a Polearm adorned with tiny black crystals. His big brother had given it to him and he was very thankful. Even though he got along with Hunter, he was more used to being around his big brother, eventually even started to help out in the weapon trade business.
He usually supplied the Fatui, but he also made himself everywhere else at home, supplying other factions or military organizations with everything they needed. There was no war in between the nations, supplying everyone equally only raised the money and that was what Sylus dedicated himself to.
Tumblr media
HSR
Sylus grew up to parents serving in the IPC. He had been living a rather quiet life, mostly studying and training. He wasn't the biggest fan of weapons, but learned to use guns and his hands. The rest didn't matter all that much to him. He tried but lost interest quickly. Learning from the best, Sylus followed his parents to any meeting, to every event, each party, any planet. He learned a whole lot, especially how to connect with possible trading partners and before he knew it, he started to work for the IPC themselves albeit also nurturing ties to Galaxy Rangers, Stellaron Hunters, the Nameless and so on and so forth. He supplied them with what they needed---completely apart from what the IPC kept an eye on.
In all that Sylus was mostly a middleman, the supplying was done by others. He mostly just hid behind a number on a phone, an avatar on the web, he rarely ever came out of his hiding, although he travelled the space plenty under the pretense of helping out the IPC while also gaining new valuable contacts. He was doing rather well at his job, mostly running under the radar, seriously hoping not to be found out for having zero moral grounds.
He truly just enjoyed messing around.
Path: The Hunt, Element: Fire
Tumblr media
WuWa
Having grown up to a man serving the Fractsidus with religious passion, Sylus grew up among them, picked up his gauntlets from his father when he died in a fight. But he never truly saw himself as a warrior or fighter per se, he also did not worship the Fractsidus. It wasn't that they scared him but he thought he could do something less violent more more productive to serve them and their ranks, eventually becoming an information broken and weapon trader, which was all too easy considering dirty and shameful, illegal organizations often longed to cooperate with the Fractsidus, while also being hunted by the law which Sylus seriously gave zero fucks about.
Hence he served as a middleman, supplying knowledgeable information to the Fractsidus, even supplying them with valuable materials and weapons, which they seemingly never had enough of. Who knew how many people they had already recruited on their side.
Free time wise he spend his time enjoying different meals and dishes in restaurants or a good wine.
tacet mark: upper right thigh
weapon: gauntlets, element: fusion
his right eye can turn bright red with which he can read/hear the desires of people, their wishes and needs due to having an aether core installed in his body (i am keeping his original lore to a degree)
he can use energy manipulation, a dark black/red string made of dust/waves to free himself from chains, squash people to death or simply let them float. it can be used for maaaany sort of things.

Introduction Post!
A RP Blog Created By @totallynotbat I am not attempting to impersonate Philza.
RP!Phil is what my Philza is, an acronym which is my version of him. Which I will post his story soon, and occasionally will post his original lore here and on my main.
RP!Phil mixes lore between DSMP, Hardcore, QSMP, plus my original lore and headcannons for Phil.
I also RP Redza, CC!Phil, Or QSMP!Phil.
CC!Philza Blog is @switchzawatson
I am a SFW Tickle blog, but I also do normal RPS as well. If you don’t like that kindly shoo shoo.
NSFW do not interact as the admin is a minor.
I check boundaries on intro posts! And if needed I will DM ppl! I don’t want to step out of boundaries and make others uncomfortable.
@ticklishavian was my old acc, so until I get my email for that acc. This is the current one for now.
With that out of the way. Let’s move on.
General Headcannons:
Phil is short (5’4!) so he can easily be picked up depending on who it is.
Has glasses, with a burn scar from a fire arrow that was shot by Tubbo during Phil’s house arrest on his left eye.
He was previously a regular crow before he was turned into a human baby by Rose, he was left on a doorstep.
Sam and Phil went to the same school where Phil was bullied constantly from being the only hybrid in his family. Phil’s sibling’s and Sam helped with those.
Phil hasn’t seen his family since he left for Hardcore.
Phil has an human like avian form, or can turn into a little crow. Or if he gets pissed off enough he has this avian curse.
His regular avian form is him just with bird talons, tail, and feathers everywhere.
After the explosion from Wilbur’s TNT, Phil’s wings were badly damaged through the first few months. Unfortunately because of his house arrest he couldn’t fix them probably until after he escaped with Techno.
He was called upon by the Ender King when his Hardcore days started and had to leave Wilbur behind, Wilbur holds that against him.
Phil never told Wilbur about Doomsday after his revival, the only stuff Wilbur remembers his Techno and Dream being in it. Not Phil.
After Fundy told Phil about Wilbur lying in the letters, Phil and Wilbur had an argument about it Phil revealing everything about Doomsday to his son.
Has a bite mark on his neck from the enderdragon in the Syndicate finale.
In the QSMP, he’s very protective of Chayanne, anyone touches them the person is dead.
Has nightmares about losing Chayanne and Tallulah, the one where they were killed my a Nightmare Stalker keeps replaying over and over again.
When Chayanne and Tallulah were cracked, he was very suspicious of Quackity and is pissed off at the moment at the new quests that were given.
When his kids were missing, he has suffered through stress and anxiety, the birdhouse not helping him, luckily he has friends to help him.
He still has the Purgatory Gas mask. (Bolas)
Rose managed to help him calm down, he is sometimes there at her little area she made for him and the kids.
He is scared of being taken again by the Ender King.
One day randomly some weird magic happened and Cc!Phil was suddenly in the Hardcore server. That’s how they met.
The majority of the colorzas were created by important moments in Phil’s life, either in hardcore or any of the servers.
Tickle Headcannons:
Ler:
Will not afraid to use tickles as punishment.
Teasing.
Chasing is his thing yes yes
Laughs with his lee
Uses wings. Any chance he gets.
When he’s in his crow form he nuzzles like crazy.
Usually does Tickle Monster persona.
He usually tackles if your cocky.
Lee:
He squirms. A lot.
He has such a cute laugh, squeaky and cute.
He hides a lot if he’s being chased. Or until he can’t run anymore.
Cannot handle teasing or anticipation.
He covers his face or tries not to laugh out of fear of being judged.
When he’s in his Avian form he has a tail that wags around when he’s tickled.
Chirps and snorts whenever he’s tickled long enough.
Wings flap.
He’s also ticklish in his regular avian form and crow form.
He gets drained a lot from his curse so he loves comfort tickles, he just giggles to his heart’s content.
Feathers or fluffy objects (wings or tails) will also get him squealing. His bellybutton is extremely ticklish so he screams whenever he’s tickled there.
QSMP Phil can’t remember where he’s ticklish, luckily Quackity manged to help him out with that.
CC!Phil and Redza are also Ticklish-
Tickle spots: (RP!Philza/QSMP & DSMP, Plus Redza-): Coming soon

Spider-Man Read-Through 023: My Friend... My Foe? (ASM 134-137)
MASTERPOST
Those issues have everything...
Tumblr media
It's all been leading up to this event, folks. Don't worry: I always find a way to make things gay.
Just as last issue (GSSM 1), ASM #134 starts on a boat. It's holidays for Peter, Liz and MJ. Surely nothing can go wrong in those 8 hours! Oh, and Flash is also there, looking as pretty as ever. What about Harry? Oh, he has more important stuff to do :-)
Tumblr media
The Tarantula, one of my favorite villains if only for his great design, hijacks the boat with two of his companions.
Tumblr media
Underneath his brown jacket, Peter has a green shirt and blue pants that go wonderfully well together. Oh my, you think the shirt's color might be foreshadowing for later, just as Spidey fighting a similarly-patterned foe? Hmm!
Tumblr media
A civilian is saved, but Flash is starting to have a few theories, not regarding the suspiciously-absent Jackal or Harry's whereabouts, but rather about Spidey's identity...!
Spidey has no more webs and thus tries to be a good boy and get a cab, but New Yorkers are all acerbate and he ends up resorting to the traditional method. That's comedy we haven't seen before, nice!
So Spidey goes back to his apartment, and what had to happen, happens:
Tumblr media
*Did* Harry always suspect that Peter was Spidey? Hmm, I wonder.
Anyway, please note Harry and Peter's shirt is exactly the same color. Is Harry's underwear blue to complete the parallels?
The issue ends with a surprise entrance from the Punisher, surprise because Spidey's been incapacitated by the Tarantula.
In the reader's letters, Harry Daniels thinks the Jackal is actually Harry. I don't know about that one, chief. The team also says the Punisher "will be back soon"... a few pages before he actually appears, hahaha.
Time for issue #135!
The Punisher eventually recognizes Spidey is a good guy, but not before the Tarantula leaves. They plan a meeting, and then Spidey has to go.
Tumblr media
Flash has a lot of stuff to ask Spidey, but the latter escapes by water... and comes back as Peter.
Tumblr media
All's well that ends well.
Tumblr media
Well, almost. See, Harry has a hard time handling how handsome his roommate. Which, understandable. I will point out for all Parksborn shippers that Peter didn't just show his head, no, he pushed the curtain to show his whole body--his whole *naked* body. He's that comfortable with Harry. Now, if that doesn't scream physical intimacy, I don't know what will.
Tumblr media
Hide those muscled legs of yours, you slütt.
Tumblr media
Speaking of which, here's what Frank Castle wanted to show to our hero: smutty pictures of one Anton Miguel Rodriguez (misspelled as Rodriquez and then Rodriques on the same page). Turns out the Punisher wished to uphold a big tradition in male spaces: stag films.
What were stag films, you ask?
You should check the Wikipedia article about that, but basically, imagine tons of dudes watching e r o t i c movies together in a big room and cheering each other.
I particularly love this part:
Tumblr media
So yeah, that's pretty gay, and absolutely fascinating to my eyes. The big question I have, though, is whether there was a female equivalent. I couldn't find one, but I can't imagine that no woman in those times thought about making that kind of film too and/or sharing it to an all female-audience, probably much more discreetly than the above. It's a truly fascinating subject to me. Was this an excuse to infodump lore on you? Maybe. But I'm half-making that joke, because this scene between Spidey and the Punisher is still a bit gay. Yes, I see homosexuality (and or bisexuality) everywhere, you should know this by now.
I'm just saying, the Punisher didn't have to show such hot photos of a revolutionary. It was a choice. Everything is a choice.
They get rid of the Tarantula, all is well that ends well.
Oh wait.
Tumblr media
Ackchuallly, we're gonna have to wait till--next line! Life in 2023 isn't so bad after all.
Tumblr media
Time for the cover that made me buy the 1974 collection at the time!
Tumblr media
The issue opens with Peter and MJ on a date and I can't believe that I recognized (visually, not nominally) the place they are. Ross Andru, devs of Insomniac, y'all are incredible.
Also, MJ's outfit is really groovy, love it for her.
Tumblr media
Yes, MJ, objectify the fuck out of him!!!!! You go girl!!!!
In fact, she goes so hard that the door and the apartment inside explode.
Tumblr media
So Peter and Harry have been in this apartment from #47 to #136. Almost 90 issues!
Please note that Peter's wearing green all over his body.
MJ goes to the hospital, but she's fine. Peter, however, is worried and goes to one of the Goblin's old warehouse. Nothing seems suspicious, after all, everything's covered in dust...
Tumblr media
... except that Spidey taught a lot of us that something like that even existed. Smart thinking, tiger!
The wait is long, but eventually, he shows up.
Tumblr media
Peter is not amused by the discovery that Harry's been training for this confrontation, whereas he expected his foe to just be an average Joe. It's surprisingly easy to imagine Harry training at the gym and trying to avoid having... unnecessary feelings about his (former) best friend.
Tumblr media
Edgeworth knows aaaaall about those.
I think seeing Peter and Harry fight in SM3 fueled my taste in fiction, and those issues confirmed it.
During the fight, Harry rambles about how once Spidey (Peter, really) is dead, he'll finally be able to do his own thing, free to live his own life again, to seek his own glory. Ooh, the daddy issues...!
In the end, Harry escapes and Peter is very worried. He's also a dick to Betty, but who knows, maybe it's part of his master plan...
We start the last issue, #137, the best way possible (after a quick Goblin-related prologue):
Tumblr media
...with gorgeous colors!
Peter eventually returns to the hospital and...
Tumblr media
Oh! Those pants. There we are, I guess, huh! This is *the* era. Liz has a great outfit, Flash too, but the real champion here is naturally Robertson, whose suit I'm jealous of. By the way, Peter's not wearing green anymore--at all!
He quickly leaves though when MJ turns on the radio. Neither her or May are really sure what Peter's deal is, but oh well. After 3 years or so, you just get used to it.
Tumblr media
Two rows of comedy gold, two!!!
And eventually...
Tumblr media
Aaaah the colors, the colors of the first panel!!!!!!!!
What follows is a great dramatic idea.
Tumblr media
This is diabolical. This is excellent. Love it.
And while Harry calls Spidey "Peter" as he gloats, Spidey knocks Harry out... and calls him "Osborn".
Just as Spidey figures out who Harry targeted, his webbing runs off. It's a great obstacle! He uses last issue's McGuffin to get more of it.
Tumblr media
When I was a kid, I never understood why Harry had picked May when MJ seemed just as likely a choice. Of course, Flash really wasn't, his love for Spidey is pure adulation. But Harry's doing everything to avenge his father--his blood relative. He gives much more credit to blood than to more subtle relationships, and that's part of why he immediately distrusts Spidey and Peter instead of trying to reconcile his idea of Peter with what actually happened. It's all the more striking because the gang has been shown to support Harry at least as much as Norman, notably when he came back from rehab in #105.
Tumblr media
A page that I remembered very well. What a great issue. What a great set of issues. I wonder what's in store next for Harry! I hope he comes back soon.
In the readers' letters, the team says that they slowed down time (obviously) and ask the readers if they'd prefer Peter to finish university.
In the next batch, we get to 1975! Now, as you may recall, I've read a big part of it (the first Clone Saga), but it will be interesting to see maybe one or two new issues for me.
See you later, alligators!
Also, I think Peter gets a new roommate, but shhh...

A Long Words Post because I don't have drawing thoughts right now:
So here's a little post specifically explaining some story and lore related things in my OCs universe, because I don't have any drawing ideas at the moment but I need to do some talkies:
The universe in which my OCs story takes place is supposed to be fairly similar to the universe that we live in, with a few major differences. They have a lot more nature around, even in their most dense urban areas, because the natural world is filled with magic, which has been turned into what is considered energy. Most people in the modern time (the time that the story takes place in) don't believe that magic exists, they view it as energy. Those that do believe magic exists don't believe it still exists necessarily, but that it existed at some point and that people who possessed magic no longer exist. This is, unfortunately for them, false, but it does become relevant later.
That said, additionally, there is also a difference in religion in this universe. In the universe that this story takes place in, there is a large pantheon of deities, made up of "Angels", "Old Gods", and the humans that execute the will of said Angels and Old Gods, called the "Watchers" (I might change that name later but I haven't found a better one). Watcher lineage is passed down through families, and throughout history, Watchers were regarded as religious leaders around the world, and they maintained that position until roughly the time of the Black Plague, when they were forced underground. It was also at that time that the Old Gods were forced into hiding and the Angels and other major deities took over said positions in maintaining universal balance. That said, in the modern version of this world, many people believe that the Angels are in full control and that the Watchers have since died out (false), and that the Old Gods, despite being immortal, are dead (also false).
There's also several different types of non-human beings that live in this world. Iceland is populated entirely by elves, for example. There are also merfolk, vampires, and a species of humanoid entities that live in the sky and are perpetually floaty (Rea is one of these sky people, I had a good name for them at one point but I forgot what it is so they're not officially named lol). Notably, the vampires have integrated fairly well into human society (and they don't need to drink blood to live anymore). Leah is one of these part vampires. Also, occasionally, there will be a human born who cannot die unless they are killed by a specific kind of magic user. They do a lot of faking their own deaths and hiding out and helping other magic users. Also the merfolk have several kingdoms across several oceans and seas and such and the merfolk are cool and I'll have lots of things to say about them eventually.
A handful of other little notes - the government is keeping secrets about magic. They don't know everything, but in an attempt to control the views of the population, they have tried to control certain magical forces and keep certain magical secrets. A lot of the larger religious powers are also attempting to keep secrets about magic, but they are also not fully aware of what the real state of the magic in the universe is. They're trying tho lol. The immortal humans are one of the best kept secrets of these entities (depending on who you ask).
There are also a few safe havens for magic users, especially magic users who are on the run from the entities who want to keep magic from becoming "mainstream", if you will. These safe havens are just about everywhere, and give people the ability to go basically completely "off the grid", if even for a while. These spaces are also important, and are often run by those immortals that I previously mentioned, since the safe spaces never have to change hands if they're run by people who basically can't die.
Those are all of the world building bits I can think of right now that aren't really major spoilers that I feel like I can talk about?? But that's just a word vomity thoughts thing for anyone interested so, please enjoy :P

Everything you said is on point. The ending was so lackluster and pathetic. But most of all, I relate with your sentiment of having wanted to like Rauru. I REALLY DID! I tried! But as the story revealed itself it also revealed there was nothing to like about him. His flaws were glossed over. The fact he showed up one day and decided to be king of everything and opposing him made you a literal demon was INSULTING. It insulted my intelligence by trying to tell me that his decision not only was but absolutely should have been taken with grace by everyone who already established themselves on that land. Peoples who had entire cultures and societies and were very much not in need of fucking guidance or protection. Really everything only went to shit when he showed up.
But before I go on another tangent, it's just hard to shake how insulted I felt. As someone who has been beside these games my whole life and fell in love with their stories, there's really no better way to put it than TotK literally insulted me by expecting me to fall for all the story's obvious bullshittery that just kept. Happening.
It was an insult to us who actually cared and who are writers ourselves and know how to look for nuance and in fact crave it. I searched everywhere. I played over 300 hours of that game. You know what I found lore wise?
Lame crap that I worked my ass off to see only to see it added nothing to the story or even took away from it. Disturbing things like the gerudos suddenly worshiping some fucking zonai asshole as a Heroine for ~saving~ them instead of, fuck, I don't know, someone who was Gerudo? THEIR KING MAYBE? Who was not evil or tyrannical or at all bad to them considering how they followed him for decades until he changed into a demon and they couldn't follow him anymore as a result. Who, it would make sense for them to hide their admiration for.
Everywhere I looked was empty or agonizing. Zonai colonization and Hylian domination of every race. The sheikah still suffering from Hyrules abuse even if this time it was more neglect and less outright murder. The jokes that the game made of the one branch of peoples who hated Hyrule (And of course never gave even nuanced reason for other than the fact they were sheikah, something only old fans who really did deep dives would even glean. Bc we can't have you questioning how perfect and pure this kingdom and the goat who founded it was, can we? No the yiga are just morons. That is why they hate the kingdom.) Ugh fuck me. Sorry for my fucking sailor's mouth btw I'm tired so no filter.
It wasn't even a disappointment. I could handle disappointment. Actual insults and jabs at sore spots concerning how certain peoples were treated at every turn, Though..? How it was treated so lighthearted and flippant? The ruination of entire cultures?.... no. I wish I could play it again but at this point I'm too bitter and sore and I have no idea when that will not be the case anymore.
Two separate posters accuse us of victim-blaming for daring to say that Ganondorf had any legitimate beef with poor, saintly Rauru. For my part, I find it easier to believe in magic triangles than in a kingdom with completely clean hands. Especially kingdoms of super-powerful beings who come from afar to rule peoples not their own.
Oh fuck another one did it? I need to go hunting to block them. Sigh. How dare us question this kingdom which has been portrayed in arguably the most Notable games in the franchise as having a dark bloody history eh? We should all just kiss goat boy's ass for being uwu cute~ and so saaad boohoo
As if unification doesn't come with a price.
That maybe at least someone would rather go down swinging than be subjugated and have their cultures gutted like Hyrule/Rauru did to EVERYONE ELSE.
It's so tragic what happened to the gerudo in the wilds era that it physically hurts me to see. They have. Nothing. Anymore. People say OoT had issues, but I think that's far and away so much better than totk's 'our race must repent forever' and 'yay our ears are pointy now from giving in to the Hylians :) we can hear the gods now!! Also we love getting married!!'
At least OoT didn't shy away from showing how much Hyrule hated the gerudos and maybe that's why they were so angry and worshipful of their king who had the strength and fortitude to stand up to that fucked regime which already drove a certain people to near extinction by using them and crushing them into the dirt (sheikah). Probably as a forever punishment for saying 'no' and being too few in number and not powerful enough to keep up the fight.
