Notes:

Super successful NOLA sludge band. Sammy Duet, their guitarist, has played in Crowbar and Goatwhore.

The band broke up after the death of their bassist, but have reunited for festival dates. The world is ecstatic.

The album cover is a portrait by John Wayne Gacy, infamous serial killer. They didn't want it but the label pushed it hard.

what are your fave music scenes?

NOLA sludge ofc like 70% of my favorite bands are from there, and then Seattle, lotta great punk and its also the birthplace of sludge and grunge. DC hardcore as well, that was some of my first exposure to punk. Recently I've really been getting into Richmond metal and hardcore as well. Portland's got a lot of good female-fronted punk bands too. Toronto has a lot of good grindcore bands and so does Boston. Tokyo has kickass goregrind bands as well as some killer crust punk. Houston has a lot of good harsh noise. Raleigh has cool sludge too. Sorry this answer was so long cncncnncmdmd
