when starting anything, the most important thing, although cliche is starting from a place of love rather then hate. it feels better and is more sustainable in the long run.

be clear on your goals for ur fitness girlie era. is this something that u wanna maintain in ur day to day life for general health? do you wanna gain/lose some weight? do you just wanna be stronger?

knowing what ur trying to achieve makes finding workouts that target your goal specifically more easy (the more specific the better)

WHERE DOES NUTRITION COME INTO PLAY ;

you should be fueling ur body properly in order for ur body to function well when ur in ur fitness girlie era. if ur goal for example is to gain weight but u notice that u have a habit to eat very little, make a log.

WIEIAD LOG (NUTRITION CONTINUED) ;

i started a what i eat in a day log for a couple reasons. one bcuz i love lists and documenting things about myself, and two bcuz i wanted to make sure that i was eating well and eating good quality foods. bcuz i notice that when i eat well -> i feel well.

eat to fuel your body, dont eat just to eat

include fresh foods

make sure that you eat healthy portions (calling four almonds a meal is NOT healthy, and calling six pizza pies a meal is NOT healthy)

overall just be mindful of what u decide to fuel your body with. an easy drink that helps to be mindful with what u fuel ur body with is with SMOOTHIES.

im so sick of ppl sleeping on smoothies cuz if u dont like to directly eat vegetables or if u want an easy way to intake fresh fruits and veggies smoothies are the way to GO.

ROMANTICIZATION ;

the fun part of the whole journey, romanticization. made a pinterest board for ur fitness journey aesthetic and make it super pretty. invest in cute workout clothes to motivate urself to workout.

formulate a playlist for ur workout, something that gives u energy and motivates you. find a workout class or a youtube channel that you love. dont make working out BORING. get a workout buddy, make some video diary entries about working out/ur workout for the day.

make a blog that records whatever workout that u did. find fun ways to work out, like dancing or going on hot girl walks. create an atmosphere where u can work out and treat the time that u spend working out as a time to nurture and nourish your body.

PATIENCE AND PERSISTENCE ;

motivation isnt going to get u through a sustainable fitness girl journey, motivation can only get you so far. its DISCIPLINE that gets you the results that you want and consistency.

be patient with yourself even if u fall off ur routine and grind, ur only human so let yourself live. as long as you dont make falling off a habit, you'll be okay.

make sure that u emphasize the mind -> body connection bcuz thats super important. working out is not just about working up a sweat; it's about connecting with your body and embracing the mind-body connection.

le sserafim workout - i've done the le sserafim workout once or twice and it absolutely destroyed me 💀 but in a good way. its challenging but its also rly effective so i recommend.

dancing - if ur into dancing, find a way of dancing that u enjoy to do. some examples include ; ballet, kpop dances, jazz etc

join a sport - join a sport with a friend to make it more fun! but theres lots of different sports that u can play and not only is it good for ur health, but its also super fun

ellie smiled was you through out every possibility under the sun. “she’d disown me. take back my car. she pays for it, not me. and i don’t know if my job even pays enough for me to pay rent.” your threw your hands in the air and finally saw ellie’s small laugh. “what are you laughing at?”

she shrugged, pulling you back down to her bed. “i don’t even move in until the end of september. and only someone who was considering it would come up with all that in two minutes.” she sighed when you rolled your eyes at her. “you keep rolling those eyes and they’re gonna get stuck.”

ellie couldn’t help but wonder about you even as you sat in front of her. what did you love and what did you hate? what made you tick? did you remember everything she taught you in her old room? on the mattress you sat on now. how to kiss, and how to get cole or justin or whatever guy had a crush on you.

she wondered what you wanted to do in life. who you were friends with at school. if you wanted to kiss her as much as she wanted to kiss you. like old times.

your heads both turned as the street lights flicked on.

“wouldn’t even have to learn about them, considering you are one,” ellie teased. you kicked her shin under the table. “ow, fuck.”

you sat back in your chair, thinking about everything of sustenance. “honestly nothing. it’s incredibly boring.” you gasped as you remembered. “mel got pregnant last year.”

ellie nearly spit out her food. “no way.” you nodded, picking up your fork again. “with who? what’d her parents do?”

“owen.” ellie gasped as you nodded. “who, mind you, at the time was dating abby.”

“good god.” joel stood up, taking his plate with him. “thats enough for me.” you and ellie laughed as he left.

ellie cleared her throat as you took a bite. “20 questions?” you nodded and set down your fork before getting comfortable. “favorite song?”

you hummed, “kyoto, phoebe bridgers.” ellie nodded approvingly. “favorite movie?”

“the outsiders.” you groaned and ellies jaw dropped. “excuse me? whats your favorite then?”

“practical magic, duh.” you smirked as she rolled her eyes. “you keep rolling those eyes and they’re gonna get stuck.” you echoed her comment from earlier.

“you’re so annoying.” ellie flicked a pea at you.

you threw one back, hitting her forehead. “favorite book?”

she thought for a moment before she answered. “catcher in the rye.”

“good one.” she nodded. “wanna get slushies?”

ellie bolted up with a smile, “god i thought you’d never ask.”

“i can’t believe you dont get cherry and blue raspberry.” you shouldered ellie as you walked back to your car.

ellie scoffed. “i can’t believe you do.” she pulled at the passenger door. “unlock the car.” you got in, closing your door and locking it. “angel.”

you smiled at her and turned on music, singing along between sips. ellie walked around to your window and knocked. your pretended to be shocked, turning down the radio and rolling down the window. “what can i do for you this fine evening?”

ellie leaned her arms on the car door with an innocent smile. “can i kiss you?”

“what?” your face and mind blanked long enough for ellie to unlock the door and pull it open. you barely realized before she was clambering over you to the passenger seat. “oh fuck you.”

ellie gasped, “how unladylike. you just sip your slushy and get me home safely,” she teased as she buckled her seat belt.

you fought the urge to roll your eyes as you shut your door and put the car in reverse.

Dear Diary,

Sun’s demeanor was like the four seasons, always changing when you least expected it.

Sometimes he was gentle and fresh like spring, peppering your face with chaste kisses just like how the petals of a blooming flower would brush against your cheeks.

Summer is my second favorite, warm and playful just like the waves at the beach, combing your hair with his fingers alike to the warm breezes that would ruffle your hair in all sorts of directions. 

Ironically, he was just like the fireball in the sky, blessing you with another day to bask in its radiance, hot and passionate. 

Like the sun in the desert he didn’t bestow you with mercy when you most needed it, he only took and took from you in those times, sucking your energy and joy away without a second thought. But who were you to question the sun? That who gives you the sustenance to live yet another day.

But that didn’t happen much.

Im not a big fan of Autumn. It was quiet, transitioning from warmth to cold. The birds went quiet and it seemed that you were the last person on earth during that time. It was so much like Sun when he was starting to seethe, still and silent, barely giving any signs of what urges he was about to act on.

I despise winter. I hate it, the cold is stifling and it kills everything in its way with a thick layer of ice, the tips of your fingers turn frigid as you meet Sun’s empty gaze, a violent snow storm kicking up behind the dark of his pupils.

Winter scares me, Sun scares me when he’s in winter, a vile shade of jealousy paints his expression, his full eyebrows pinched together as he sharpened his gaze with malice.

Those once nurturing fingers dug into your shoulders like icicles, warning to puncture your delicate skin like sharpened needles.

His wrath was terrifying, alike trying to survive a blizzard with only an old lighter in your clammy hands.

Winter was the shortest season though. Thankfully it didn’t last as long, and soon would fade into spring again, but it was apparent that on the budding roses there was still remnants of ice glittering on its petals and stem.

It’s sad that nice weather doesn’t last forever.

ehehehehe welcome to the ej fan club!! evil laughs >:) gotta admit my take on ej is only loosely based around the original story (guy waking up to find one of his kidneys missing is the TLDR version) but a lot of my hcs are based around a fic (?) reimagine (?) of ej that i remember seeing floating around yeeeeears ago back in middle school and im unsure how many people follow the "jack used to be a human but got dragged into a cult/human sacrifice unwillingly" idea since i admittedly dont interact much with the fandom outside of writing these lil hcs and making fanart TToTT

after everything that happened to him jack ran off to the woods to be away from prying human eyes, and as far as he knew he was viewed as (albeit unwilling and you could argue it was in self defense) murderer.... kind of puts a stop into your plans of finishing school and going into your dream career.. oh and also the teeny tiny detail that you now rely on human flesh as sustenance with no hope for being able to physically accept alternatives and as more time goes on you start to resemble something.. not human... theres that, too

if you want to see him during the day you're likely going to have to visit him in the woods, but fear not hes not homeless, hes found refuge in an old cabin; slowly hes been patching it up

dont expect him to make you do any work on the cabin, he views it solely as his responsibility and he'll likely deny any actual work helping rebuild it... though i dont think he would be against any tools and decoration (ex. stuff for a generator so he can have power, means to wash his clothes, basic supplies that arent food ectect)

i think overtime he would even get a little mini fridge for you so you can store snacks and drinks at his place, since he doesnt. have food

sometimes visits you at your place, but he only does this during the night so he doesnt get caught wandering the streets by other people... usually enters through the backdoor, to avoid anyone seeming coming from the front

very quiet and reserved, not very high energy... so most nights hanging out with him are calm... usually him asking you how you've been doing... you /could/ ask him the same, but he can only talk about patrolling his area in the woods for hikers straying too close so many times, and he doesnt want to bore you

thats actually another thing, he has traps set up around; mix of a means for hunting without having to go out and pick someone, and to make sure no one gets too close to the cabin

so i think, in the beginning he would ban you from coming to him without him guiding you, at least not until youve had ample time to get used to the traps and how to look for them and remember the general locations of them

teaches you how to forage, him being alone for so long has forced him to pick up new hobbies to keep him from going insane, so you now know how to do that sort of thing as well as identifying plants and fungi... fun!

on the very rare occasion you can convince jack to walk around town with you at night when everyone else is asleep.... its nice, i think.. kind of gives him a chance to just sink back into what his old life used to be and feel like hes normal again; though he tends to be quieter than usual on these walks

i dont think hes particularly possessive, dont get me wrong he cares about you and he does have the passing thought of you just up and leaving him one day (and he doesnt blame you, he holds a lot of self loathing for himself nowadays) but hes not going to be breathing down your neck and watching your every movement... he has enough trust in you not to get hurt or stuck in any situation

blunt, he doesnt beat around the bush and sometimes he doesnt sugarcoat things when the blow needs to be softened... mix of jack just being a little insensitive to others but also because hes gotten so used to thinking so logically and straight forward and numbing his own emotions over... who knows how long, probably even before he got all messed up..

can be a little sarcastic at times, so he might come off as an asshole every now and then, especially when you mix in the bluntness

i dont think he would actively try to be mean to others though, he'd try to understand and fix something if his habits upset you because he doesnt want to lose you

very cold, physically, so be sure to bring blankets and stuff when you want to cuddle into him

very careful with you, he has claws and teeth... and sometimes shedding blood around him can be really dangerous (he feeds on human material, he tends to push off eating for as long as he can since the fact hes eating people meat messes with him.. argument between survival of himself and survival of others; but due to his curse he can go into 'frenzies' and momentarily lose himself to his hunger. think how in finding nemo the sharks went nuts when dory cut her fin on accident, its like that but he doesnt go nuts all the time) so hes very very gentle even when he has a strong hold on himself

speaking of his forced diet, he doesnt eat often.. only really needing to do so every now and then, but i like to think he would still sit at the table with you to keep you company while you ate dinner

though he wouldnt want you to do the same when he DOES eat, might prefer you not come at all on those days actually

largely im in agreement. i think sex is something he compels his spawn to carry out as transactional for luring in new tribute for the whole 7k Thralls thing, or as yet another weapon to hurt them with when somebody steps out of line - or most likely both. and you don’t enact that extreme of a level of inflicting pain for decades & decades unless you’re a Deeply broken person with crippling insecurity & the need to display Your Power - to both those under his command and to himself. at this stage in cazador’s rule, i believe sex is completely divorced from sexuality & entirely about power and anger, the same way food is divorced from sustenance & is now about control. everything is about rage, inadequacy, & control.

if you’re asking about specifics, im honestly not that interested in entertaining the thought too much - the most outrageous iteration of this i can think of, with the topic involving a man with a screaming “need” to establish himself as having any modicum of control to himself over people who cannot die, is Very Very Bad. i think astarion was giving us the “i dont know you that well” sanitized/cliffnotes version of anything he disclosed, & even that was horrid. if you ask me the full force brunt of how deep that black hole in the dirt went i say IT GOT REALLY BAD

the crackers and banana is because a few years ago when i was in the hospital for amoebiasis and vomiting my guts out every other second, these were the only two things (aside from oats. special shoutout to my bestie, oats) that i could stomach. and when my mental health is bad, my stomach is warzone thanks to Nausea Being My Strongest Stress Symptom. the vitamins is just so that i dont shrivel up into a raisin or get scurvy while im rotting

Allow me to praise you again on how much I love your series and how well you write Neuvillette 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Slow burns are a hard balance of, it’s slow but it should still give you material and sustenance that feeds just enough to continue on without getting bored and frustrated by the lack of romance. You nailed that balance, I’m on the edge each chapter just WAITING FOR THE CONFESSION AND THE KISS, but I’m still happy and giggly like a school girl with the each chapter and each tender scene even though there was no kiss. There’s still that romantic tenderness. I literally check your blog 4X a week to check for updates (tumblr decided that when you tag me it won’t notify me 🙄). And the reader, you’ve been able to make the reader have relatable characteristics, insecurities and flaws without the “woe is me, I’m so unpretty and unwanted😣😔” trope that I’ve seen too much in actual published books. I’m continually loving the character growth of reader, Neuvillette and their relationship, their friendship and hopefully (no pressure👀) soon to be romantic partnership. - The_Mxs_of_Many

Step 1. Dont feel guilty. Armor was invented to protect the soft parts inside of it. It doesnt make you less soft for your mind & heart trying to prepare you for a long struggle

Step 2 is Nourish yourself with small joy and small wonder. If you only focus on the tragedies of the world you will starve that soft part of yourself. Friends. Family. Hummingbird eggs. Cats. Music. Its all sustenance.

Step 3 is to choose your battles carefully. Helping a little bit or making a little progress is better than being so overwhelmed you cant help or make progress at all. The time will pass anyways.

Step 4....

Check in with yourself from time to time. Its a hard habit to form but it will help if you stop once in a while - different times, different moods- to ask yourself how you're doing and if the things you're doing are healthy for you in the long term or only the short term.

It's ok to use a coping mechanism for a little while. If it's all coping mechanisms then maybe it isnt exactly coping and you need a new strategy.

Its not a sprint or a race. Its more like a marathon. Or a nature hike. Take in the scenery and pace yourself.

If you have to push past some limits, at least find ways to make it easier on yourself.

Anyway im a stranger. Im a little drunk. (And i love your art btw and you were very nice to me when i got a commission from you and were an absolute pleasure to work with) and also i know the feeling of being super burnt out on optimism- especially lately. thats...not that easy. some characters use neopronouns, and neos just exists in english. also, a lot of languages dont have neutral pronouns

you cannot translate "fen went to fens room to sleep" or "leaf feels bad, because of stemself" to spanish, as an example. i am studing spanish rn, and as far i know you will only get some kind of nickname, instead of a pronoun

ah anon im not too sure what you are attempting to get at as if kc wants to does so i think squeak can manage for a couple reasons off the top of my head a pronoun is just a word used to substitute a noun so yes neopronouns would be similar to nicknames in style also to point out that in spanish there is current movements towards more gender inclusivity (like using e as a gender neutral suffix as it is something already within the language for example 'inteligente' not being masculine or feminine) however if kc does translate through whatever means bun could just make some shit up again i dont see your point other than you coming to say 'ehh i dunno could be hard' but this really has no sustenance and doesnt state a point or argument unless this is an expression of concern but as of now with the translation not anywhere near out we will have to wait and see what happens or how kc tries to tackle it or who knows maybe she will avoid translating to those languages one last thing to note is it really comes down to how the story frames the use of gender neutral pronouns i think with some terms becoming more gender neutral despite the suffix such as latino having moved more towards the entire grouping over the singular plus you could say in english how they them is plural and gender neutral while in spanish when referencing multiples youd say 'nosotros' or 'ninos' (of course theres the rules about it having to be plural with one masculine in the group but still) you could bend the rules and reuse these concepts to portray an androgynous or nonbinary person -uni
