Day 7: Likes

Okay I have a LOT of ocs and stuff so I’m gonna delagate this promt and the “dislikes” prompt soley to my rambunctious group of musical idiots, the Bandmates Team!!!!!!!! That way this post is a lot more controlled and consise and doesnt end up being and endless scroll for you guys!!!!

Cherri

Cherri is a loud and proud partygoer with a “need for speed” personality, and one of her favorite pastimes is street racing! She actually has a car that she does modifications on when shes not driving the ratty old band van, and its a nice sleek sports car with hot pink wrap on it (its model is like- Corvette or Hellcat in style). She mostly keeps it in the garage of her and Riot’s shared apartment and does the oil changes and maitnence on both her car and the Band’s van herself!

Her favorite type of music is PopPunk, but she also likes general pop music and metal!

Her favorite colors are red and pink and she loves more fem clothing

Her prefferred instrument is the Bass Guitar!

Riot

Riot, despite being the lead male singer of the band, is actually pretty shy and reclusive in his hobbies!!! For one, hes a HUGE videogame nerd and when not rocking out on stage, he’s tucked under soooo many blankets in the apartment grinding away on his games, though hes got a bit of a soft spot for cozy simulator games, but hes not picky about genre! He also enjoys plenty of anime and films, and really is just a big ol geek behind his loud bark of a voice!

His favorite genre of music is rock and pop music, though he also enjoys some metal!

His favorite color is Neon Green and he has a more grunge, masc style of fashion, though mostly he just tosses on whatever’s clean.

His preffered instrument is the Electric Guitar!

N3XU5 Alpha

Alpha is the reclusive and cynical band manager, and really its unclear if it even likes anything at all, but he does have its hobbies! Mostly, it loves to stargaze, and will take hikes with his little sister to stargaze in the mountains where it sets himself up as a telescope and calculates the approximate age and distance of the stars from our planet.

Its favorite genre of music is Classical music and instrumentals, he’s not a big fan of vocals

His favorite color is electric blue!

Its preferred instrument is the theramin

N3XU5 Beta

Beta. Likes. EVERYTHING. They love it. Life is amazing, life is incredible is there anything she DOESNT like???? She loves her brother they love her friends she loves the sky they love the earth under her claws. EVERYTHING!!!! Rocks ESPECIALLY. God she loves rocks. Crystals and even just regular old river stones they LOVE them, she collects them even! They love them for so many reasons from the facinating religious reasons to even just how rocks form!!!!

Her favorite genre of music is EVERY kind and they absolutely LOVE being in a band, but she has a special love for Vocaloid!!!

Their favorite color is sunset orange because thats what color SHE IS and isnt that just wonderful?

Her prefferred instrument is the keytar or synth

Dimitri

Dimitri is a simple lizard. They like to get high and do crime. There’s a reason they turned the local abandoned warehouse lot into their home base (and where the band holds a lot of their secret concerts and practice sessions!) and they have decorated it with all kinds of graffiti and even built a burn pit where they just set things on fire cause they can. They’ve also set up a pretty sick skatepark on the lot and they use it all the time when tryin to think up song lyrics, though mostly they just light up a joint and stares into the fire to come up with stuff

Their favorite genre of music is metal, but they’re also into musicals!

Their favorite color is the glowing red of the flames, but they also dont mind the purple of their own scales!

Their preffered instrument is the drums!

Day 8: Dislikes

As stated in day 7, this one will be about the bandmates crew!!! :D

Cherri

Cherri fucking DESPISES the feds, pretty much the whole band does but thats just par for the course of their general punk behavior, though Cherri has a particular distaste for them from the sheer amount of times she’s been pulled over. She believes that the roads should be free and that cops should mind their buisness when they see a nice car zoom by. In the same vein, the only thing she may hate more than the cops is the DMV. She has been there MANY times getting her liscence updated and renewed and it is her own personal hell to be stuck in a DMV.

Riot

Riot, bless his heart, heavily dislikes riding in Cherri’s car. He loves his sister, really, he does, but her driving is *horrifying* to him and he is so not ready to get in that hot pink metal deathtrap and loathes it every time he has to get in. He also generally dislikes fruits!

N3XU5 Alpha

Alpha despises the capitalist consumerism of the music industry as that was what he was created for and to his creator, it failed his purpose thus creating its sister: Beta. He lives with the knowledge that its entire existence was made to be consumed as a product and he seethes in that loathing, often pointing it towards himself though it is grateful that he was able to flee with its sister and that they can live free lives as newly sentient AI and start to create the kind of music they want to, not because they have to or they were built for, but because its a way to express themself as beings.

N3XU5 Beta

Beta doesnt really hate many things, though she definitely doesnt like how mopey their brother gets! She worries about him, since he took the brunt of their creator’s abuse when they were newly formed, but she tries not to dwell on those memories. Another thing she dislikes is when she has to shut down for matienence. Its not that it hurts at all and they trust her brother a LOT to be able to put them back together again afterwards, but to anyone who’s not aware that it’s happening it can be really frightening of unnerving and she doesnt want to make anyone worried or scared for them!

Dimitri

Dimitri’s biggest pet peeve is anyone who kill’s their createive flow or anyone who intrudes on their tags. Its so annoying to them to go to finish tagging a train car in the city only to find some douchebag scrawled out the tag entirely with bland paint or worse the perp plastered faccist symbols all over the damn thing! They also hate it when the city tries to develop the abandoned warehouse into something “usable for the city” but luckily they’ve got some friends on the council that are open to a little bribery to keep the place abandoned so they can keep vibin rent free on the property.

Just thinkin about the Bandmates crew again and realizing that idk if I’ve actually fully stated who they are in relevance to being an actual band!

So, each of them is inspired by a different genre of music I listen to, though its pretty broad even when I try and narrow it down a bit, and a few of them are furry ocs I’ve had forEVER that have finally found a story to kinda be slotted into.

Anyways, the main concept of the band is that they are rhe band that plays the music during my mental animatics for other ocs when I zone out, somwtimes even just doing concert animatics themselves when a somg doesnt go to a particular oc, and sometimes, they get special guest preformances from my other ocs! (Namely Xadian). All in all, they’re a very comedic, rag tag, 4th wall breaking set, and this is a little bit of who they are and their roles (color coded for fun)

Dusty “Riot” the Hyena: (he/him) hes the oldest oc of the bunch and has gone through many design changes, but has always been generally rock inspired, namely bands like hollywood undead, fall out boy, and other classic middle school emo rock kinda stuff. Hes the lead singer/main guitarist of the band, but he also plays drums for when its Dimitri’s turn to sing! He’s kind of an awkward, golden retriever type of guy offstage, absolute sweetheart and a total klutz, but he always means well! Hes also a huge nerd and takes the most after myself.

Cherri the scarlet fox: (she/her) shes only a little younger than Riot, and just as loud and peppy! She’s his adoptive sister figure of sorts, more in a childhood friends to besties kinda way and shes more inspired by the pop songs and female vocals in my playlists like Kesha, marina and the diamonds and so on. Shes got a loud, party girl personality and is the worst/best driver of the group (thats up for debate. She hasnt wrecked, yet, but also dont have open drinks if you’re riding with her and use the oh shit handle generously). Shes very blunt and rude about things sometimes, but she means well. If you need to find someone to go wreck a rage room, shees your gal.

N3XU5 alpha: (he/it/they) the first half of N3XU5 prime, hes more the cold, calculating logic behind the band, a mechanical dragon and inspired by a lot of darker techno music and hardstyle edm, bands ranging from Daft Punk to Coone to Chonny Jash, it mans the synthesizer and blasts all sorts of beats from their mechanical jaw, lights on their neck acting as soundbars. He’s kind of the “oldest sibling” type of guy and is honestly the only thing holding the band accountable for anything. It keeps up the matienence of the band’s gear and makes sure everyone arrives on time to practice, though hes not the best at talking to the fans and can come off quite intimidating

N3XU5 beta: (she/they) the other half of N3XU5 prime, she’s the bubbly and eccentric robotic dragon, more steampunk inspired than their silvery twin and much more on the fem presenting side. She does the higher pitched electronic vocals and is inspired by a lot of classic mechanical singing like vocaloid and nightcore and shes just very generally pinkie pie coded. They play the keyboard and always have such a great time just hanging out with her friends at practice! While their brother is more scientific and logical, she is more spiritual and curious and seeks to understand what humans believe about the world rather than what their AI tells them is fact about the world. Shes always eager to learn new things and can fuse together with their bother to make the dual headed drake “N3XU5 Prime”.

Dimitri: (they/them) they’re the cool, calm skaterboy/anarchist of the group. Inspired mostly by metal vocals from 5 finger death punch and a lot of the rough, snarling growls in some music, they’re a dragon who gives zero shits about the world. First and foremost, they’re the band’s drummer, but in their spare time, they’re an avid graffiti artist and arsonist, often setting bonfires in less than safe areas. They like to skateboard at an abandoned skatepark they’ve made their home, and are always down to party with Cherri and Riot when asked, but even better if you can offer up some chaos

Little tidbit I have of my band ocs and how they react if you question their pronouns (in a negative way)

Cherri (she/her): what? Do I not look enough like a girl or somethin? Or is this some stupid “unladylike” ploy you’re getting at?

Riot (he/him): huh..? I mean- yeah? Im a guy? I dont really get why you’re bein so pushy about it…

Dimitri (they/them: what? You think all nonbinary people have names like rock or clay? Tch, how annoying

N3XU5 alpha (he/it/they): truthfully, my pronouns matter not to me as I am but a machine, though I will note the disrespect in not using what I prefer.

N3XU5 beta (she/they): wow, thats really rude of you to be honest. I really didnt peg you to be like that. Yada yada “we’re all flawed and everything” but your flaws are a bit too major for me bestie.
