Note
How do I find out about local elections? I only ever hear about them when they're done? Also do I have to fill out the whole ballot for it to he counted, like if the only person to vote for in 1 category i don't agree with can I not vote for that guy and have the rest of the ballot be? counted?
So when they are is going to depend on where you live. Like Ballotpedia might have some information but Vote.org has a notification thing you can sign up for. Your state may have more specific resources too (like Wisconsin has MyVote).
Honestly what you really want to do is use your local resources. Check your city and county websites, as well as pay attention to your local news. Everywhere is different, so I can't give you a single solution -- but none of this is really hiding once you know where to start looking.

reminder for wisconsinites: blease VOTE. This election is like wicked important. Don't forget there is same day registration!
Vote NO on the referendums! They're conservative proposed amendments that will increase the number of people unlawfully jailed and continue to allow rich folks to pay their way out of consequences!!
wish I could teleport to my voting location 😔

So I went to vote because mama didn't raise no bitch and I didn't have a license with my current address. But I did suffer through updating my electric, Internet companies and bank to update my address in February so I brought what I could according to MyVote and that includes my lease (that wasn't in date either rip...) a bank statement I got the same hour before voting, a bill under 90 days old and the license.
I wasn't even sure if the poll worker would even accept it but by the time we got to the third document I brought she told me to chill out and said "I really appreciate how prepared you are, now let me get you all set."
Bro, in the 2020 election I watched some lady have drive in with her toddlers without her license and have to use her fucking fishing permit. You think I want that to be my future?

A huge number of people are already getting fucked over when it comes to being allowed to cast a vote in the upcoming elections. Let’s try to minimize what that number COULD be as much as possible. It might also be useful to have the number for the ACLU written down (or already in your phone) so you can CALL THEM while still at the polling place and get whatever information is needed in order to see about having the ACLU sue them. Write down names. Get witnesses. Take photos. MAKE IT VERY CLEAR TO THE POLLSTERS THAT YOU ARE GOING TO HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE. (Unless you have reason to believe they’re going to be assholes and try to have you arrested for doing so, in which case, be as subtle as possible.)

US followers, you need to deny Trump the presidency at all costs.
There’s a lot more work to do on top of voting but you need to get out and vote against him.
Here’s how to check your voter registration status.
