Meet Michiko!
Name: Michiko Ishihara
Age: 20 in the canon universe, 24 in my fanfiction
Affiliation: Black Oak, Amazzoni
Occupation: • flowerist (before)
• whatever the Amazzoni are lol (after)
Ability: the setting sun; it allows her to absorb the life energy of other living beings. If she absorbs too much energy all at once, she runs the risk of losing control. In this case her body can suffer serious consequences that often manifests as maniacal phases. To avoid this risk she always wears an obsidian stone around her neck which absorbs excess energy. If she absorb energy little by little she can heal herself and extend her life as much as she wants (to do so she must first remove the stone).
Love interest: Dazai ihih
Hobby: doesn't really have one and always complains about being bored
Likes: coffee, dogs, the sea
Dislikes: boredom, lemons, wasps
Personality: lively, confident, curious, sensitive, shrewd, spontaneous, witty, compassionate, honest, rebellious, naïve
Personal motto: life is painful and hilarious
More undercut
Trivia
• inspired by the real Michiko Ishihara, Dazai Osamu's second wife
• I decided to give her the biological surname of her real counterpart and not the surname "Tsushima" to make her character more independent from Dazai;
• irl Michiko was a teacher but BSD Michiko doesn't want to become one, plus she's not very good with children because she doesn't have any patience;
• her ability is inspired by one of the book of Dazai Osamu, The setting sun in which her best friend Kazuko is the main character
• awful sense of humour. Just awful.
• Clumsy, not in the adorable sense, in the sense that she falls, taking down with her the name of every saint she knows and whoever is walking with her to hold on to her
• Happy that life has no meaning because she believes that in this way the human being can be the architect of their own destiny, but at the same time she's suffocated by the absurdity of life
• Too sincere
• "The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return"
• Mary Oliver poetry incarnated
• Sexy dumb bitch
• "the very reason to live is whatever you do that prevent you to kill yourself" (A. Camus)
• Crave a deep emotional connection with ppl
• Has a specific taste in men but can't recognise/explain it so if you aks her she'd be like:
"What's your type?"
"I like pathetic men."
• Parents issues
• Good and big heart but doesn't really know how to show affection (bc her father never did)
• Always down for throwing punches, but always tries to talk first
• Verbally attacks if she feels verbally attacked
• not to mention when she feels physically attacked
• Wants to understand people and why they do what they do, in fact it's hard for her to blame someone for their actions (unless they kill someone of course)
• Sees the good in everything, but it's far from being a soft character
• Sometimes she think she's God, sometimes she's a drama queen: "God's sense of humour is me", "but weren't you god?", "in fact I'm very self deprecating"
• Fear of abandonment but the one that makes you cry when you're alone bc you think about when shit will end so you self sabotage yourself and leave before you get left
• Michiko: I'm so wise.
Kazuko: You're a problem child.
Michiko: A wise one. I don't make the rules.
• naïve but doesn't seem to bother her
Dazai: why did you call me?
Michiko: I had nothing to do
Dazai: and I'm the one who came to your mind first?~
Michiko: yes, why? Oh, wait....... Eh, nevermind I guess you're right.
• she likes to give nicknames to people that think can represent their personality or traits.
Dazai: Bakazai
Atsushi: lil tiger
Murakami: mr. handsome asiatic (in Italian it's funnier)
Kunikida: kunikidazilla
•owns a motorbike. She bought it to piss her father off.

An explanation to camuroland the shipname: "犬炎"
Although I do supposed that at this point everyone just used to "camuroland" as their official ship name. But as part of the eastern side of the shipdom, mashing their names together should be taken it with some extra steps, for the sake of self-indulgance haha.
So I propose a side one that is "犬炎"
I included it in the template that I posted as sort of a teaser. But I feel like it deserves a bit of an explanation, as a bit of an apreciation for kuso en translation(?) team, just on some parts. (spoilers, Camu's deserve to be praised, Roland however, was a miss. Kuso, how you have fell off.)
Camu: Crocotta in chinese/original is 卡穆 · 狂犬 And Roland: Flambeau is 罗兰 · 戏炎 What's super interesting to me is that their frame's name does not change in the japanese version (Camu is カム · 狂犬, Roland is ロラン · 戏炎) "But, you don't know chinese, how are you gonna make any of this work," well I'm Vietnamese, and I can use transliteration to aid me. And trust me it helped me understand these two on a much deeper level. In that vietnamese guy we trust, always :D
Their names are simple, "卡穆" and "罗兰" are simply "Camu" and "Roland" in chinese dialect. The fun part is in their frames' name.
Camu goes first. And I would like to say that the direct translation for his frame's name is so insulting because why are they calling our boy a "rabid dog"?? Although that's the thing, it's really what "狂犬" means. "狂犬" in romaji is "kuángquǎn", and in Vietnamese transliteration is "cuồng khuyển." And to my other vietnamese people, I agree this sounds a lot better than calling him "chó dại" haha. "Cuồng" is basically to describe something wild and uncontrollable, you can use it to describe a natural disaster as well as a person, in some cases. Pretty much means "crazy," but unlike "rabid" that's mostly only used on an animal. "Khuyển" is pretty much an untamed dog. This is when I have to brought this up because I had issues with this too, specifically the differences between "cẩu" and "khuyển," as both of these words are to refer to a dog. A "cẩu" is a domesticated dog, a house pet. Obedient and behave nicely to its master. And a "khuyển" is a masterless dog, barks and bite and misbehave and uh yeah.... has rabies (this came clear to me from a lil comedic story that I came across explaning exactly just that haha.) At the same time, it's used in a very insulting manner, to refer to a lowly, pathetic dog. Now I think I understood whoever made Camu's frame see of him. SMH But to my knowledge, "masterless dog" can also be used to refer to wild dogs, namely hyenas. Which is absolutely interesting, because it's believed that hyenas were the animal that inspired the legend of the creature "Crocotta." I think the english translation team deserves some credit for this one 0)-(
Roland on the other hand, is surfacely the less intersting when first roughly translated during his debut in the cn server.
"戏炎" in romaji is "xìyán", and that is "hí diễm" or "hí viêm" (either way has a nice ring to the ears.) During Roland's debut his frame's name was translated to "theatrical flame", which is so much better than what the direct translation gave me (because "play inflamation" sounds like... absolutely nothing.) This is worth pointing out at least imho, using "戏", in romaji and transliteration is "hí", translated to theaters is pretty shallow in terms of meaning. To put it simply, it's not just any general theater, it belongs to the combination "戏曲", "xìqǔ" or chinese traditional opera, Peking opera is what it's more widely known currently. Now I'm not here to give a history lesson on something I'm not very well-versed, but for what Roland does, consider to what Peking is with its combination of story telling, singing, dancing, martial arts and acrobatic performance, I don't think the theater they refer Roland to is "just western theater," the good ol we all familiar with. Especially with the martial arts and acrobatic performance, for what Roland is capable of (or consider his battle performance), he exceed just being some reality show performer. That's traditional art. Albeit Roland is referenced (quite heavily) on a Frankish knight, that's very much just a title, much like his role on the stage. It's always better to consider him as someone more than just his role. And that is where the localization and translation team failed to make justice of what his name could have been, or if only someone could have point it out earlier. "Hỏa" ("火") means literally fire, but "viêm" ("炎") is a blaze (literally two fire syllables on top of each other.) It can also be use as an adjective to describe heat in some cases. "Flambeau" is pretty much a torch, even much less meaning than "theatrical flame", but it gave me this idea that said flame is being contained within an object and/or a place. Although it's not even flame, but an even much larger fire. (A friend after hearing me telling them all this said that it felt like a very symbolic fire, it could be seen as Roland's passion for the art of performance, which I very much agree. It burn hot and bright but it also contains him, imprisoned him almost.)
That's a long dissecting section, so what does that leave us with? Well, I tried all combination with each syllables including ones from their names, and only the combination of "犬" and "炎" sounds the less cringe (haha) ("chaotic opera" "狂戏" could've worked if only 狂 isn't a very fitting adjective for 戏) If i respect the shipping community rule of name position (top's name at the front, bottom's at the back) then that gives us "犬炎". But personally, it's doesn't matter, the Vietnamese transliteration left me with "khuyển diễm" but I'll fw "viêm khuyển" as well.
Còn với những người anh em đồng hương của tôi, con ship này cũng có tên việt, là "Sói Lửa" (camuroland can be very international)
And with the usual english speaker, my friend have suggested "Blazing Canine" and I happily approve of the idea (it's so much better than my "hot dog".....)
And with that I would like to conclude my TED talk. Thank you anyone who reached this point (❁´◡`❁) I hope it gave you something, or wasted your time in a enjoyable way haha /gets kicked off stage
//And if anyone is like "why does Roland get such a long analyzation for his part," here's a diet one for Camu. While Roland's chinese name is just a dialect of his name ("ro-ran") Camu's does has a meaning but it's on its own is so good and I'm not sure if anyone has point this out yet, and I frankly don't think it would be very fair if i take Roland's frame name just to combine it with Camu's name. "卡穆", romaji "kǎmù", Vietnamese transliteration "khải mặc" (or in any case of you stubborn people like, fine "ca mặc", it doesn't change the meaning) means "a silent protection." Consider he always has us play where's Waldo, he's really just at the flank and back protecting everyone on his own in denser punishing zone, it's rather fitting. And it's not that he doesn't complain, it's just that whenever he does and curse at Roland hahaha

Hellooooo I have been DYING to know this from you 👉👈. You know how there's a lot of tips for writing stuff? Well do you happen to have any tips for reading stuff? I want to read the books you recommend but I fear I'm just too dumb 😭 and won't understand what is going on let alone the themes and philosophies discussed. I feel like I would be insulting Dostoevsky by reading his work looool. We were never taught this stuff in schools ;O
I'm talking about critical thinking and analysis skills, media literacy, being able to picture and visualise sceneries; characters' voices/appearances etc., and just overall being able to comprehend one sentence that doesn't use the most basic active voice structure 😭 thank you if you choose to answer!!!!
SWEET ANON !!!! YOU ARE NOT DUMB !!!!
this is coming from a survivor of the american education system, so it might not be universal, but my experiences in middle/high school made me dislike reading books. no joke. i didn't see the point and thought reading the classics was a waste of time. i'm sure that's partially teenager arrogance, but from the conversations i've had with others, reading was rarely framed in a way that stoked intrigue. we're not given the tools to engage with the text so i'm rarely surprised when i see the worst takes imaginable on a piece of media i enjoy from a 14 year old.
i'm still learning myself when it comes to media literacy, it's an ongoing journey. when i read notes from underground for the first time last year i was literally so confused. i can normally read anywhere from 80k-100k words in one day if i'm motivated enough, but NFU, a novella at around 43k words, took me over a week.
i say all this to reassure you that you're not alone!
some advice that comes to mind when reading a dense work:
do some background research on the author. i know teachers hiss at wikipedia for some reason but reading a few paragraphs about the person's life, beliefs, politics, etc really helps put their writing into perspective.
look into the time period it was written. what were the pressing social issues at the time? who was in charge? what conflicts were ongoing/just ended? what was the predominant religion? books don't exist in a vacuum, a lot of the classics are filled with jabs at ideologies the author doesn't like (i'm looking at you, dante).
if the author's from a different country than you, getting a basic grasp on the culture helps a lot. with reading dostoevsky specifically, historical events like the emancipation of the serfs was an entirely new concept to my american brain.
not everything is going to make sense. sometimes the cultural/historical layers go so deep you'd need to have been alive at the time to immediately get it. fortunately, there are nerds with degrees in book who do extensive research and can give insight. i'll think i maybe understand a book okay, go to read a journal article on it, and go ??????? wat???? page 632 paragraph 3 references euclid's optics?? how was i supposed to know that.
finally, you're not going to like every book you read, even if it's well written. there's a difference between persevering and actively torturing yourself with words. if you dread picking it up again, there are other books to check out instead. there are some classics that i don't care for much (some of edgar allen poe's short stories, the fall by albert camus, no longer human by dazai osamu, to name a few).
ask yourself questions while reading. why did this character do that? is there a reoccurring motif throughout the work, and if so, why might the author be trying to highlight that? what perspective is the work from? is the protagonist lucid, are they an unreliable narrator? what themes are being explored here?
i hope some of this helps dsfhgkdjshgks there's a lot to be said on the subject but i didn't want this post to be miles long.

"literary junk food" reminder?
mm FUCK YOU'RE RIGHT.
Okay so like. I'm calmer now. I woke up, made a green tea, and had my daily Weekend Wife Look (That's when I look at my wife while they're still sleeping and think about how much I like my wife). But yes, I saw something on the internet that upset me yesterday and for some reason I've decided I need to talk about it.
Under the read more, though. I got. Rambly.
First off I should clarify a few things, as this is something I can see a certain type of person using as a way to dub me "anti-intellectual". I am not an anti-intellectual. I consider myself decently intelligent and above the norm in terms of the amount and variety of literature I've read. I won't call myself well-read because that's another label I do think is mostly bullshit. But I've read a lot of the "Smart Person" authors like Kafka and Vonnegut and Camus and Calvino. I tried reading James Joyce's Ulysses like three times and it sounds like something I'd love, but for some reason I can never get past the first 60 pages. I can enjoy shit like Naked Lunch and The Sound and the Fury fine but Joyce consistently exhausts me with his particular brand of Irish Incoherence.
What I mean to say is that I regularly enjoy the type of books - and culture as a whole, really - that on several occasions forced me into conversation with A Certain Type of Person. The kind of person who treats their tastes in art as a moral virtue. Who thinks the failings of society are at least partially due to the fact that not enough people have read and appreciated "The Classics". I actually was pushed towards dropping out of college by an interaction I had with a guy who was in the Master's program I was working towards. He saw I was reading J.D. Salinger's Franny and Zooey (I like it! I wish Salinger wrote more women) and took it as an opportunity to start raving about his opinions on Catcher in the Rye, a completely separate book I did not bring up at all.
People who do this make me unreasonably angry.
So the thing I saw was using "literary junk food" to talk about people who only read Young Adult fiction. I have so many issues with this that I don't know where to start. Because it plays into a bigger issue, I think. I see people on Youtube talk about the BookTok influencers who say they only read the dialogue in their books, or who complain about how a book has "so much text". They scoff at these people. Laugh at their inability to properly appreciate literature. These people are the problem.
And like. No? No. No, they're not. Some of them might be a reflection of a problem, sure. If a person of a certain age genuinely struggles with a dense book of a certain length, or if they only read books far below their age level, that could be an issue. But it's 100% not an issue with the reader. Much like how in the rising rates of younger people who struggle with fundamental reading skills, we shouldn't blame or make fun of the fucking kids, you weirdos. What? What are you doing? That's so weird. Stop it.
Most people aren't born with an innate love of reading. There are so many factors that can make developing that kind of passion incredibly difficult. Maybe they didn't grow up in a house with books and they weren't read to as kids. Maybe they're dyslexic or something and the fonts of most paperbacks are legitimately difficult to read. Maybe they were never exposed to the kinds of genres and authors they'd really enjoy. Maybe they saw some stupid fucking argument on the internet (Audiobooks aren't real reading! YA and comics aren't real reading! Mmm paperbacks are soo much better than e-readers I just want to shove them in my mouth yummy yummy I am so cool and smart) and decided they'd rather stay away from all of that entirely.
"Oh," the strawman I invent for this hypothetical exclaims, "but the internet exists! You can just look up more appropriate books to read! There's no excuse!"
Hey, Scarecrow I Reanimated Through the Dark Magic of my Rage? Do me a favor and try what you just suggested. I Googled "books for people moving past YA" and found a few lists on the subject, and the books were mainly:
modern novels I haven't read and might be fine
way-old classics that seem thrown in so people would think there was "variety"
some wack shit i'm very confused why people would suggest to those branching out from YA (Dune? The Martian? That's crazy, right? That's crazy to me.)
I was overwhelmed. I imagine if someone was only exposed to YA and saw a bunch of lists like these they'd could easily be discouraged. That is, if they weren't already discouraged by the dipshits online implying they're wronging themselves by enjoying the books they enjoy.
The thing that pisses me off is that Those People who say that aren't entirely incorrect. If someone only consumes one type of art, they are denying themselves a bunch of styles and stories and perspectives that might profoundly change the way they look at the world and at themselves. This applies to the person who only reads dystopian trilogies and romantasy epics, and it also applies to the person who only reads fucking Tolstoy or whatever. It applies to me, as a majority of the fiction I read up until like five years ago was written by men during like the 40s-90's (I don't know why but that ended up being my Era of Choice).
Variety in art is cool and good. If someone feels like they don't have the option to explore different stories, that belief is the issue. The person is not the one at fault, even if their reasoning for not branching out is incorrect. Yes, there are more adult-orientated writers who aren't old white straight men. There are adult-orientated writers that might be more engaging then the ones from the 19th and early 20th century. Not every adult-orientated book is Ripe With Ideas and Philosophical Concepts. There are fiction books written for adults in mind that make their prose as accessible as their dialogue. There are nonfiction books, even, that are written by intelligent authorities with a genuine love for their subject that makes their writing super enjoyable to read and not at all like a textbook.
But also it's not a bad thing if your main genre is young adult fiction. My main genre is probably post-modernism. The only difference between us is that post-modernism sounds esoteric enough that a lot of people won't question it, where as a ton of people feel super comfortable assuming a YA book is lesser. These are usually the same people who assume young adults are inherently unable to grasp complex ideas.
I don't read a ton of YA. At the same time, I will never go as far as to claim the entire genre has nothing to offer adults, because that's an absolutely insane take. That's nonsense. I've read fucking picture books as an adult that touched my heart (Has anyone read The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds? Oh god I teared up.). Cynthia Voigt's book Homecoming was an early step in me realizing my mom was abusive. I'm pretty sure Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events played a huge part in my want to become a writer.
"But you moved on," the Scarecrow breathes, voice weakening as the dark magic seeps out from the thin veil of hay and burlap, "adults are supposed to move on and read Grown-Up books."
Yeah man, maybe. There's a lot of shit that adults should be able to do, and people are so satisfied with those milestones of Adult Development that they sometimes forget that age is not the only factor in those things happening. If other reading options aren't presented in a way that seems welcoming and engaging, what are they supposed to do? Just walk to a library and grab the most boring looking book because that might be their only frame of reference for a "grown-up" book? Slog through it like they're in high school again? All to feel worthy in the eyes of someone who publicly condescends what might be the only type of literature they've enjoyed and connected to so far?
Why? Why would they want do that?
Anyways I'm getting hungry and the scarecrow I enchanted has lost its sentience, so I'll cut it short. There are a lot of intellectual pursuits - brilliant artists in a variety of mediums - that I am consistently bummed out that people feel like they can't get into. But I also understand, because a lot of people who like Adult Books or Abstract Art or Improvisational Jazz or Experimental Theater tend to not like the art itself as much as they really enjoy being perceived as a person who likes those kinds of things. And ultimately that's - fine.
That's a fine way to live, Scarecrow Corpse. You're allowed to base a majority of your identity out of truly understanding Infinite Jest or Koyaanisqatsi or Derek Jarman's Blue. But like don't expect that to change or improve the lack of culture you claim to hate so much.

Incorrectly Described OCs Tag
I don't know if this was done before, but I was inspired to make this by the "Badly Summarized WIP Tag" (:
Rules: Describe your OCs (personality-wise) as badly and weirdly as you possibly can
I'll go with some OCs from my WIP Mutant Inquiries for this one.
(Main Cast)
Becca Sillvers - middle kid with daddy issues and strong feral gremlin energy, basically becomes a computer virus after accident and has an overall bad time before deciding to pick a fight with the world
Cory "Diamond" Blythe - has only the power of anime, glitter and vodka on their side. basically made a deal with this world's equivalent of "rumpelstiltskin" (but not really) and regrets life choices.
Luka Stormme - guy with anger issues becomes vigilante during business days after a couple boxing classes. is the "soccer-mom" to his cousins and his friends when he's not fighting crime
Cass Holborn - dropout with a bunch of explosive chemicals in his garage builds underworld empire while successfully failing, but somehow managing, to raise sister
Nydia Tainnen - unstable ballerina with severe childhood trauma decides to become an assassin and give a middle finger to the government
Matthias Harke - runaway tries to keep his friends out of trouble when they decide to mess with the worst people possible, ends up having to take the lead.
Samantha Holborn - troublemaking teen who never learned the meaning of "none of your business" and had too much free time sneaks somewhere she should not be and causes chaos
Jym Callister - over-caffeinated insomniac takes up computer hacking as a way to avoid his problems and just be a menace
Alexey Morikov - cat parent who only wanted to mind his own business and read must get back into the fray after a bunch of unsupervised teens bring the problems he'd successfully been avoiding now knocking on his door
Killien Lux - government experiment and supersoldier develops sentience and starts developing free will while making it everybody's problem. is also a knife
Keilly Phaedre - is the Only Remaining Braincell tm of the team and is completely done with life
(Antagonists)
'Signor' Teague - pathetic guy with severe ego problems, who thinks he's the big man. would be the type of person to unironically listen to those bullsh1t "alpha male podcasts" and take notes like it's an essay
The Mutant Control Agency - bunch of "Karens and Kevins" in fancy suits with lethal weapons and a warrant to chase people around + practice illegal experiments in the name of ✨""""a brighter future""""✨
PHANTOM Industries - big tech company that thinks they're so hip and cool, and are the ones sponsoring the karens above. gives off big "13-year-old playing fortnite and threatening other players" vibes.
Tagging (gently, with no pressure): @oh-no-another-idea, @writernopal, @tabswrites, @rickie-the-storyteller, @steh-lar-uh-nuhs, @little-peril-stories, @clairelsonao3, @jay-avian, @forthesanityofstorytellers, @aziz-reads, @doublegoblin, @gummybugg, @junypr-camus, @olivescales3, @saltysupercomputer @unstablewifiaccess, @late-to-the-fandom and @lassiesandiego

Choose violence ask:
what was the last straw that made you finally block that annoying person?
worst discord server and why
what character did you begin to hate not because of canon but because how how the fandom acts about them?
worst part of fanon
ooooh 🌶️ spice level is high, let's go. warning that there will be vent-like explanation here, this is going to be raw
what was the last straw that made you finally block that annoying person? Personally I use block button freely when I see accounts with bad vibes, bad behaviour, especially they are insulting someone with nasty swears and those who put others under the bus for drama. But there was a guy who attacked a ship for a sake of promoting his own art which he reposted (the art was made 2 years ago), after finding out his other horrible antics and allegations and how he throws others under the bus like it is his breakfast, I blocked him, he was really annoying.
worst discord server and why? well. here we go. basically I was friends with one of the admin, had a good time in the server for 1 year and half, after sharing my vent on my personal twitter, they scolding me, dropped me from the proofreader of their fan translation project because I said I couldn't do Chapter 3 at the time. They didn't even communicate that, in fact they got someone to be proofreader without telling me. They justify it by saying my mental health was bad and gaslight and isolating me further until I could not take it anymore, I lashed out. I apologise but the server was so tense that I got paranoid, anxious and got trust issues. I became inactive in that server on 1st January. I tried to reconcile and explain myself to the admin about my actions and I was sorry I was, but they send a crazy google document to me being passive aggressive and absolutely rude, with no respect or regard to my feelings whatsoever after I got over the shock and took some time to realise it wasn't worth explaining myself. the end. But this year I found two amazing servers that helped me to get better mental wise and I'm much happier in 2024 than 2023.
what character did you begin to hate not because of canon but because how how the fandom acts about them? emmmm, I don't think that kind of thing happened to me so far because I don't hate character, I am mostly indifferent to some of them, I just see the fans playing up the antics as they are an active force compare to the character which is a passive tool to be used. But I will say that the opposite does happen to me, my interest in characters, especially interacting with others civilly or positively or both, grew well and I love creating headcanons about them or even fics hehe.
worst part of fanon the debate of the who is the most powerful saint, especially the gold saint is overdone. Camus being an abusive parent and most people ran with it, I don't personally like that headcanon because that is used to overhating the aquarius. and I think that is it really.

Camus (All Star) Memorial
Translator: Mimi (Twitter: _mimisaurora)
Memorial 2 - Doesn't Know What Curry Udon Is
It all started when I walked into the dressing room of a talk show I was scheduled to appear in.
I had just entered the unoccupied dressing room, taking a few steps forward, when I felt a disquieting presence from behind.
“Hn!!”
I quickly turned around and caught as it flew by—
“Is this.. a pebble?”
It was a small stone, only about three centimeters in diameter.
“Who is it? This kind of thing…”
“Oho? Looks like you caught it, Ichinose. You're pretty good.”
My eyes widened at the sight of the figure looming behind me and emerging from the shadows next to the lockers.
“Camus-san!? Was this pebble yours…?”
“Indeed. It allowed me to see just what kind of a man you are. It seems, as I predicted, you're no ordinary person.”
Camus-san nodded his head gravely. I assumed the dressing room was unoccupied, but it appears he'd been waiting there for some time.
“To see…? I really don’t follow, but I don’t quite approve of the prank.”
I would expect this from Kotobuki-san, not from Camus-san, who I believed to be a relatively serious man.
Who knew he’d do something like this…
The pebble wasn't thrown very hard and wouldn't have hurt even if it did hit me, but it still would have made me upset.
Camus shrugged his shoulders with a nonchalant look on his face when I expressed my thoughts.
“For that I apologize. But I thought it was for the best. Besides, I knew you would avoid or catch it.”
Camus replied and gracefully sat himself down in a folding chair.
“Or could it be that it was just a fluke?”
“No… I believe I can catch the next one you throw at me.”
“Well, then no harm, no foul.”
Is that right…
I was still left feeling frustrated, but decided not to press the issue any further and settled down in a chair a short distance away from him.
I open the book I brought with me, looking at Camus-san.
What was he trying to accomplish? Aijima-san is a man of many mysteries, but his senpai even more…?
“You seem to still like books.”
“Huh…?”
I didn't understand what he had said for a second, but Camus-san continued indifferently.
“You had brought one with you when we had last performed together.”
“Was that so…?”
“There is no need for you to speak so formally with me, you know. You are the industry veteran here.”
I finally figured it out.
It has been a while since I last shared a dressing room with Camus-san.
He must be remembering that time long ago.
I initially believed him to be a weird man, but perhaps this calls for a new perceptive.
“Not at all… Because I am Tokiya Ichinose, a rookie who has just made his debut.”
“Hm. You’re a man of integrity.”
Camus-san opened his own book and started to read, and I went back to reading myself.
“...”
“...”
I like to be able to focus before work, so I prefer to be with someone who doesn’t talk, but I still could not get over the pebble thing.
What book could he possibly be reading?
I’ve heard Camus-san to be a knowledgeable and well-read person.
It might be a literary work, or…
I glanced over and noticed the title.
‘Everything on Curry Udon.’
Everything on Curry Udon?!
I almost dropped my own book for a second, but I quickly got myself back together.
Everything on Curry Udon…
No, of course, one is free to read whatever books they like.
But this is something someone would never imagine Camus-san to pick.
“...Dostoevsky. You're quite cultured.”
Camus-san suddenly raised his head, looked over at the book in my hand and spoke.
All the while, Camus-san continued to hold the copy of Everything on Curry Udon in his hand.
“No, I wouldn't go as far as to say that… But I have found this translator's take on it intriguing as of late.”
“Hm. …you’re very different from Aijima despite coming from the same class. He only ever reads rubbish.”
“It's probably still hard for Aijima-san to read books in Japanese.”
“That's no excuse. How can someone live in a foreign country without mastering both reading and writing to perfection? That cat is ill-prepared for everything. Don’t you agree?”
“That’s hard for me to say…”
I was at a loss on what to respond, and Camus-san's furrowed brows deepened as he pondered for a moment.
“I have heard you've been working with Aijima recently, I hope he hasn't been causing you any trouble.”
“I have worked with Aijima-san several times, and it's always went well.”
Speaking of working together, Otoya mentioned that he and Camus will be co-starring in an upcoming variety show.
Since Otoya is unpredictable, I worry he'll be a problem.
Camus-san snorted in a dull tone when I told him.
“Hmph. I've gotten used to nuisances, having Aijima around.”
“You say that, but I’m still not accustomed to Otoya’s level of outlandish behavior.”
“Aijima too. That guy has no common sense.”
Both of us nodded at each other in silence, as if we'd just both reminisced.
“That cat lacks wisdom but is unnecessarily proud. Has he experienced any run-ins with the people he’s worked with?”
“From what I know, everything’s been fine. I think Aijima-san possesses a peculiar charm that endears him to people.”
“...I hope that’s the case.”
Camus let out a small sigh and pulled out a new book from his bag, probably having finished reading Everything on Curry Udon.
The new book was… The Curry Udon Lexicon.
Curry udon again.
Is it a favorite of his?
No, it’s probably required reading for work.
It may also be because Camus is a foreigner and is genuinely interested in Japanese food culture…
“...What?”
“It’s nothing. Are you just, by any chance, interested in curry udon?”
“Hm. It's said that even when hunting rabbits, lions put forth their fullest effort.”
That’s entirely unhelpful.
…I don’t understand what that means.
“By the way, Ichinose. I have a question for you. Do you know of a way to eat curry udon without getting your suit dirty?”
“Come again?”
I responded a bit dumbly.
“...I'm asking if there's a way to eat udon without splattering it all over your clothes.”
“I-I see…. The splatter is always unpredictable, so it's difficult to prevent it based solely on how you try to eat it. I recommend using a napkin or something similar.”
“Very well. I suppose there are limits to how refined one can be when trying to eat a commoner's meal.”
“I think it's good manners to make noise when eating foods like udon.”
“To make noise, but with grace… That proves challenging. But if this continues, Kurosaki will be justified...”
Camus thought for a while, then suddenly looked up as if he had just had an idea.
“Which do you think pairs better with curry udon: sugar or honey?”
What?
…This time I didn't have to vocalize anything.
It seems you have to be quick on your feet when talking with Camus-san.
“That's a tough one to answer, but since the soup is sometimes made sweet, neither of them would necessarily be a bad choice. Honey is occasionally added to normal curry as a secret ingredient, so I would personally go with that.”
“That makes sense. Your thinking is very logical.”
“I always strive to be that way. It makes me happy to hear you say so.”
Camus-san nodded gravely.
“If I recall correctly, you’re from Kyushu. Does Kyushu have any speciality udon curries?”
“Any specialty…”
“To tell you the truth, Kurosaki, a simpleton as you are probably aware, mocked me by remarking I didn’t even know what curry udon was. Therefore, I want to present him with a curry udon even he doesn't know about and knock that bastard down a peg.”
“You want to knock him… down a peg.”
“Mhm.”
He looks completely serious about this, but to what extent?
But being counted on for advice isn't something I necessarily dislike.
I told him everything I knew about curry udon.
“Alright. I’ll look further into it. Thank you, Ichinose.”
“It’s no problem at all. I’m happy to help.”
Camus gave a huff and a small smile.
“You have a truly exemplary way with words.”
“Thank you.”
“I'm still nowhere near as proficient as a native speaker. I would like to learn from you. Next time, I'll ask Tsukimiya to show me some of your past TV appearances.”
“That’s fine, although…”
I was anxious for a second.
“How do I put this… It’s not common to add ‘nya’ to the end of words. That’s only…”
“Got it. I understand.”
“That’s good…”
Camus-san flipped through the pages of his book with a contented look on his face.
His eyes suddenly widened.
“Oh!”
“What is it?”
“Look at this!”
The page that was thrust before me contained a picture of a giant curry udon dish attempting to qualify for the Guinness World Records.
“That’s probably about 100 servings. It's certainly very big, but what's this have to do with…”
“Actually, Kurosaki didn’t just mock me. He also threatened to stain my suit with curry udon.”
…What are these men doing?
I thought Kurosaki-san would be more of a serious person, too.
“I have been trying to devise a response, but upon further consideration, a defensive attitude is unbefitting of me, the Queen's Sword.”
“Is that how it is…?”
“Absolutely. Therefore, I will make this udon and serve it to him. Kurosaki, always hungry as he is, will no doubt stand there and weep for joy.”
“R-Right.”
“I will then take my aim… and push him into the udon from behind!”
I started to develop a headache, and Camus-san wore a wicked grin on his face, as if very pleased with himself.
“Hehehe… ...Kurosaki, since you insist on staining the front of my gentleman’s suit yellow, then I shall cover you entirely in curry. I see it clearly… Your face twisted in shame and covered in udon. Hehehehe.”
If someone like, say, Kotobuki-san had made this comment, I would have thought it ridiculous and stood up from my seat.
There was, however, inexplicable power in Camus's laughter that rendered me motionless.
The Devil.
That name is all I could think of in that moment.
“Hm. There's no need to worry about wasting the udon. Kurosaki would probably eat it all up in that situation.” “G-Got it. Um…”
That was when someone knocked on the dressing room door and a staff member peered inside.
“Camus-san. Ichinose-san. It’s almost time.”
“U-Understood.”
“Very well. We’ll be there shortly.”
In the blink of an eye, Camus wore a serene smile and quickly responded to staff, who I in turn turned to smile softly at them.
“Well then, pleased to be working with you today.”
He rises effortlessly and moves gracefully, without missing a beat, following behind the staff member.
I remain frozen in place for a moment, stunned by how quickly everything changed.
…Camus-san.
I indeed don’t think I will be able to read him.

🕯️🦷🦴🐚 ♥️♥️♥️
THANK YOU DIANA 🥰🥰 and such a pretty palette as always!!
🕯️ ⇢ on a scale from 1 to 10, how much do you enjoy editing? why is that?
I’m REALLY low on the scale, like a 3. I really don’t like going back to fix up my work after I feel like I’m done with it, even if multiple passes have given me much more polished pieces to share. It makes me restless and kinda squirmy sfghd.
🦷 ⇢ share some personal wisdom or a life hack you swear on
Personal wisdom: 1) you get what you pay for on certain things, so it’s worth an up front investment to have something high quality for the long haul. 2) if you ever find yourself over-idealizing someone and you want to snap out of it immediately, just tell yourself that they get the shits just like everyone else. It’s gross and immature, but it’ll reset your view of them and get you in the mindset that they’re human just like you.
Life hack(s): hot drinks in summer will tell your body to cool down (and vice versa cold drinks in winter), orgasms stop headaches and clear up stuffy sinuses, most issues with phones can be corrected by resetting your network settings then going into airplane mode for thirty seconds and restarting if all else fails.
🦴 ⇢ is there a piece of media that inspires your writing?
Forever and always I’m inspired by season one of True Detective, the soundtracks to Mad Max: Fury Road and Django Unchained, and (this is stupid and niche dfghf) Cole’s companion dialogue from DA:I. Quotes from Albert Camus and Jeanette Winterson. Also any paintings by Cabanel.
🐚 ⇢ do you like or dislike surprises?
I actually LOVE surprises, my only problem is that I like having surprises ruined for me more ddhj. I like to know!!! It only makes me more excited!!!

girlblogging like kafka; entry 1
nice weather in Istanbul. refreshing. visited the cistern basilica. lunch was delicious. I hate the feeling of men's eyes hovering over me like i'm food, ready to jump, only stopping themselves not out of respect for my existence and individuality, for the soul that's withheld within my jail of a body, but merely because my father is walking by my side. he could be anyone ; an uncle, a grandfather, a teacher, a lover, a brother ; he could be anyone, and yet they'd still stop no matter what, not because they see some things in me aside from my boobs and my face, not because they feel the shy shape of opinions and hobbies and drives behind my skull, or a purpose to my being on earth besides the role of a pleaser, no. no, they stop because of the knowledge that his being of the male sex and me of the female one makes me property. his property. and overstepping property would be uncouth, wouldn't it ? it wouldn't do. and so they limit themselves to wandering stares and disgusting smiles. smiles the opposite from angel's smiles in renaissance paintings, smiles full of vices and thoughts of violence. smiles twisted and tainted of superiority, smiles i want to violently peel from their faces and run over with my bare feet, smiles that make my blood boil and make me think of all those years being subtly told to allow men. to allow them my thoughts, my body, my life. to allow them everything by denying it to myself. strolled in a park for a while. was nice. read a bit. it was "les justes" by Camus. very interesting. 65 pages in as of now. explores themes of political commitment and insurrection. i'm feeling overwhelmed by being in my parents' constant presence for days after living by myself for a year now. i'm feeling suffocated. claustrophobic. inside and outside alike. listening to lana and mitski is what's helping the most, no matter how cliché. i see a lot of cats on the streets ever since we arrived in Turkey. i want to kidnap them all. i feel so bad for them, straying all day long, not knowing where to go, where they belong, fed only based on the rare acts of kindness of passing strangers and locals. the same goes for dogs, and people. it breaks my heart to see a homeless man dumpster dive while i pass by with the shameful knowledge that i eat more than i need in a day ever since i arrived. i fear the future. ten years from now and tomorrow alike. i want to get a job and then again i don't, not really. i've already worked before, and i know the feeling will subside, but i feel it still. i feel it at a very deep point within myself, always chasing it with a broom, trying to sweep it from my system. it's a bone crushing feeling that leaves me blank in the head and my heart hurting. it's the reason why i try to push back the time I get out of bed in the morning, fleeing responsibilities in the shape of friends and clocks and the sound of traffic. it's the reason why i withdraw inside myself at times, with the childish thought that my body disappears along with my consciousness, like a child that believes she's become invisible to others by closing her eyes. it feels like the issue here is that i'm like a self destructing piece of paper, a page that goes blank everyday, no matter how much you write in it. what's in the past remains in the past, i don't learn from my mistakes. it also has perks, like me being able to enjoy my favorite materials, books and movies alike, like i never experienced them in the first place. music is different. music i feel in my bones, and so it sticks. it never leaves my body. the same goes for literature and cinematography, but what i remember are feelings, nothing about the plot or content. i remember an experience rather than words on paper. rereading a favorite book feels like greeting an old friend. i'm filled with the memory of old feelings as they mingle among the new, confronting me to the person i was last time i read it. it gives me a singular glimpse into what i was, what i am, what i may become. today was hectic, but then again when is it not ?

meta list.
just some notes for my own safekeeping of metas i need to transfer over from characters' original blogs! i'll compile these all in a page somewhere for people to access should they wish to see notes of my specific portrayal of any of my characters ( or even for me just to refer to when relevant ) so nothing to see here for now except a sneak peek!
jesse pinkman.
jesse + confrontation ( in the face of it, responding to criticism, and in particular his relationship with physical violence )
jesse + the dog / moral compass motifs ( the symbolism of his being a counterpart to walt, his values and how they make him the perfect manipulator's target )
jesse + learning ( how he learns, the overlooked intellect, his borderline regression to childhood oftentimes and how that manifests as an eagerness for knowledge )
jesse + empathy ( his intuitive gravitation to protect children, look for the good in people, valuing the emotional over the monetary )
jesse + dependence ( the dual meaning of dependence on a person / society vs. the very literal addiction to drugs he faces often throughout the show, the idea that jesse is a leader that believes he's a follower )
bellamy blake.
the necessity of co - leading ( bellamy as the heart and clarke as the brain, their inability to rationalise unless as a unit and the damage falloff that comes with such )
bellamy + existentialism ( works such as albert camus and samuel beckett, the influences of the theatre of the absurd in the world of the 100
bellamy + body politics ( his body as a tool, telling of his self perception and the overview racism and classism has had on him )
bellamy + touch ( as a love language, a manipulation tool, a restraint, a communication piece : its impact vs. the verbal equivalent )
the conditioning of the big brother ( eradicating the role of the knight but more of the brainwashed older sibling with sole purpose, how that affects his behaviours and reactions )
bellamy + solitude ( the duality of finding peace in it, and fearing it / abandonment issues of the older brother vs. the selfishness of having something for himself )
greek mythos influences ( in particular atlas, the odyssey and the sword of damocles )
mike munroe.
the subversion of the jock & class clown archetypes and the plot points that reveal such ( jess chase scene and wolfie encounter as pivotal moments )
mike as the sole survivor and his post - game journey
mike's interpersonal relationships with each of the others ( including hannah & beth )
mike's relationship with conflict ( how that manifests into what others can only interpret with annoyance )
rework of the creatures!
elizabeth march.
the countess and love ( what she believes it to be, whether she's capable of romantic love, her obsession with the heartbreaks and where that originates )
the countess' fashion ( the duality of old hollywood with a modern twist, vintage and contemporary, what this reflects of her as a person )
the countess' abilities ( in particular her tasting of emotions not as a metaphor but a very literal quality, being so emotionally encapsulated she has a sensory relationship with feelings )
the countess + media ( how art, music, film, etc. all encompass her and tie in with her grand delusions )
the countess + antithesis ( we have two selves quote, how this manifests in my writing in particular )
vanasha.
vanasha + deception ( as a second skin, feminine wiles, forever destined to be a double agent )
richie tozier.
richie & observance ( the literal representation of the glasses, his abstract perception of the world, memory as photographic, echoic, and iconic
richie as the man of the thousand voices ( eradication of the novel's racist impressions, the development of them as a quirk to a tic to an ingrained trait )
richie + adhd ( the trashmouth, the yo-yo as a fidget toy, his crudeness manifesting as an unwarranted idolisation of his father to neutralise the demeaning )
alec lightwood.
alec + touch ( his aversion and yet complete reliance on it, touch starved but also rejecting of such )
alec + autism ( how this manifests in social situations especially, his view on others, the link to his queerness )
alec's bow ( the significance of it beyond a weapon, both to us as the media consumers and to him as its owner )

Book Reviews | No Longer Human by Osamu Dazai
Tumblr media
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spoiler Free Review:
This book heavily reminds me of The Stranger by Albert Camus. The main characters don’t understand others like why they do things the way they do. And both simply do what they are told. However Yoro does not do it because he’s living with an absurdist philosophy where nothing matters so why not do it. He does things because he’s afraid of how others perceive him, he’s afraid that he is inherently evil and others will find out and he does what they tell him to appease them or to make sure they don’t find out that he’s “evil”. This an interesting character! Yoro is very interesting. His inner monologue is atrocious yet everyone outside of that loves him in a way. The plot I didn’t care nearly as much about as I did the development of Yoro as we go from his childhood to his adulthood. Fun fact! I also had been wanting to read this book forever, but I only remember the opening. It was not until my friend let me borrow his copy and I read the opening and I found the book I’ve been wanting to read! All in all, I think this book is worth a read. Easy to get hooked into, however if you are in a low place, I do not think this is a good book for you. This is a very emotionally taxing book.
Spoilers!!!:
This book is great! I can’t really recall too many of my issues about it and my personal issues with the book really is not about the book. It’s not about the plot, or the writing. It was captivating. My biggest issue is with Yoro who I do not like at all, but that is to be expected. He is not a character the reader should like. That’s really it.

Big fan of any "media" depicting the following: religious trauma, greek tragedy-adjacents, cannibalism, homoeroticism, pomegranate symbolism, dog motifs, Cain/Abel-, Judas/Jesus-adjacent relationships, hardcore mommy issues, unfathomable rage, divinity, monstruousity (and ideally, both intertwined), anything where horror is eroticized or viceversa. yknow how it is.

👑 RED QUEEN ⚡️
***
Summary if you don't wanna read all this cause i have MANY opinions about these books:
***
#1 Mare defender, #1 Maven apologist (it's complicated). If you dislike Cal Calore you need to die. If you genuinely ship Mare and Maven you need to die also. If you hate Evangeline you are wrong. If you hate Elara you're right, but also very boring. If you think Mare or Evangeline are white, you need to reread the books. No Kilorn hate allowed here thank you very much. House Calore and House Merandus enthusiast.
SHIPS
Leader of Thomaven + Mareven nations (I don't actually ship Mare and Maven romantically, their canon dynamic just has been keeping me clinically deranged and unhinged and feral for years. like I adore them but please don't become canon ever. (actual mareven shippers who think they should end up together pls DNI :))
Maven x Iris enthusiast (is there a ship name for them??? if there is please someone correct me). Started as a crackship now we're here
Marecal #1 supporter + #1 Evangelane enthusiast !! also like Shade x Farley a whole lot! :)
Coriara enthusiast too (let me be delusional idk. comphet hit them both hard).
Not much of a fan of Kilorn x Cameron, don't rlly mind the ship either.
CHARACTERS
Can u believe I'm a junior college student and yet I have a PhD in Maventology. He is THE character ever. sorry if you are a writer creating characters you can stop now. every writer can stop writing characters because they will never be Him. actually. btw. Also he needs to stop... His looks too demure... his bitch pose too nasty... his behavior too BPD... they're gonna kill him😔. Consult me before doing as much as thinking about him thank you. I am absolutely not chronically clinically insanely deranged about him. I like him a normal, healthy, and perfectly stable and definitely not autistic amount. I do not relate to him on a level that is embarrassing to disclose at all, he absolutely isn't "just like me fr fr". Also he fucked up bad but god forbid a bisexual guy with 87 mental illnesses and 56 personality disorders be a little bit of a silly goofy jester. he didn't "steal his brother's throne" he was literally kingmaxxing and on his period leave him alone. my poor little meow meow my loser boyfriend my 3-apples-tall son my whole lifeline.
Definitely a Maven apologist but also he DID do everything wrong and was an awful, horrible person and if you don't acknowledge that I'll get Very angry. His death was necessary but also he didn't deserve it but dooming himself to that fate was his own choice but also it wasn't. yknow how it is. If you perceive him in the wrong way i will eat my own organs and probably yours too and then kill myself immediately. it IS that serious to me. So, toxic Maven stans who loooove him but haaate Mare and Cal with a passion And also sexualize Maven to filth BIG DNI. you're WEIRD!! you need to STOP!!
Also dm me before speaking on Mare Barrow or Cal Calore, please and thank you. they consume my every-waking thought, both individually and as a ship :)) Also Mare is trans and this is a canon fact she told me herself. Also a Huuuuuuge Mare enthusiast. she was my fav before Maven for a REASON!! (and is my 2nd fave rn). they hate to see a girlfailure committing war crimes🙄 i stand with my cancelled daughter leave her alone
Speaking of cancelled wives. Also incredibly devoted to Evangeline Samos and Iris Cygnet (who literally didn't do a single thing wrong btw! god forbid lesbians do anything).
Also Evangeline hatred is absolutely not deserved and NOT welcome here. AND don't mention the whole "Who's the worst mother Larentia or Elara" thing to me because if you do I'll steal your kneecaps.
BIG Kilorn Warren, Shade Barrow, Cameron Cole and Coriane Jacos enthusiast. AND Elara Merandus enthusiast (and borderline apologist. free my woman she did all of that but who fucking cares. Merandus rizz wins smh).
RELATIONSHIPS
CEO of the Calore brothers. Their toxic doomed siblingism Cain/Abel complex is off the charts and no other pair of siblings will get to their level i fear. Sorry they are THE brothers ever everyone else can go home. No one understands them like I do (u can trust me i have older sibling issues). and again pls do consult me before speaking on them. The amount of mental illness they give me every single minute of my life is beyond human comprehension and they make me soooo miserable beyond belief and the amount of love i have for them is immesurable and they don't even know it !!😔
Jacos siblings, Cole siblings enthusiast.
PhD in Merandus family-tology - and with Merandus family I mean Elara and Maven. Like that's literally me and my mom what are u talking about. every time i think about them i age up 89 years they make me convulse and shriek on the floor. being BOTH a Maven AND an Elara apologist is hard and quite literally impossible but I know god gave me this journey for a reason🫶
Also House Merandus, House Jacos + House Calore (more lowkey) enthusiast
I loooove Mare and Maven in ways that are impossible to grasp for the human mind and their canon dynamic consumes my every-waking thought. But if you genuinely ship them and wanted them to be paired together after RQ 1 you need help and i'm not kidding. how are people supporting shipping an abusive guy with the girl he abuses and they'll go and say it WITH THEIR WHOLE CHEST TOO half the fandom needs to DIE actually. you guys are not right in the head. also do NOT try to explain your fuckass arguments as to why Mareven is soooooo much better than Marecal and why Mare was actually in love with Maven after everything (??????) I do not wish to hear it!!! I WILL block you!! And kill myself in front of you to forever change the course of your life!!!thanks!!
Note and final comment! Hate the Calore brothers all you like (ur wrong, but it's allowed ig) but Mare haters are NOT welcome in this blog (especially the ones that call her "annoying". get a grip ❤️).
🧧 THE POPPY WAR 🔥
Fang Runin, Yin Nezha and Chen Kitay are all my children and under my protection. RinNezha are my parents who raised me.
Rin falls under the same category of Blorbo as Maven btw. She is Blorbo Premium. I think people should stop writing female main characters because they will Never be Her and they want to be her so bad but they never will. btw. Because she is the only main character that's EVER existed. btw. Have been deranged obsessed with her losergirl bisexual BPD ass since day 1 . I stan forever with my cancelled wife🤞🤞
Also incredibly obsessed with Jiang (as a father. of Rin and Altan specifically). Crazy white-haired middle-aged shamans will see two rabid Speerly kids and be like "is anybody gonna adopt that" and not wait for an answer
Also! Chagaltan enthusiast (they fucked nasty multiple times in canon it's 100% true they told me). I love Altan Trengsin the normalest healthiest amount as well :)))
The dynamic I love most BY FAR are Rin and Kitay's friendship tho. don't mention them to me or I WILL bawl my eyes out and you WILL hear about it.
(I've only read the first book, so I know no further spoilers!!!).
edit: reading the second book now. i am pledged to Rin Kitay and Nezha's friendship. everytime they fight i eat my own organs. also MUCH more obsessed with Chaghaltan. toxic doomed yaoi my belovedest <3
edit: finished reading TDR. the amounts of love i have for Yin Nezha, Rinezha, and Rinkitay are unfathomable for the human mind. btw. if you even care. also i am devastated.
🐍THE HUNGER GAMES/TBOSAS 🌹
Consult me before speaking on Snowplinth or Coriolanus or Sejanus individually thank you very much. Also like Snowbaird a lot (not as a ship!). Coriolanus Snow is bisexual and OCD/BPD yes it's a canon fact he told me himself. Lucy Gray Baird defender (can't believe I have to say it but some of you have god awful takes on her omg).
# Peeta Mellark enthusiast. also Everlark, Haymitch, Cinna and Johana enthusiast. Also like Katniss a lot lot she deserved none of that!! Sort of Gale apologist (didn't like him at first, think he is WAY overhated now).
Also fuck Jennifer Lawrence she is NOT Katniss Everdeen and never was!!!
also I am normal and sooo patiently waiting for Sunrise on the Reaping🥴 soooo patiently🥴
❄️ MY HERO ACADEMIA 🔥
Touya apologist, LoV apologist, Shigadabi/Dabihawks and Togachako enthusiast. Also Hawks, Lady Nagant, Overhaul, Aizawa, Shinsou enthusiast. Todoroki family enthusiast too, especially Touya and Natsuo (Ende*vor not included). Touya Todoroki is not just family but my whole lifeline and he deserved better. Tenko Shimura is my son that I gave birth to myself and he deserved SO much better also. All LoV members deserve better and No you can't save someone by killing them :))) Don't ask me about 430 I am still waaaay too angry. And incredibly disappointed. And in Horikoshi's walls.
♦️ GRISHAVERSE ♠️
Kanej and Wesper lover. Kaz Brekker and Nikolai Lantsov CEO, Jesper Fahey and Nina Zenik enthusiast :)
SoC lover but also SaB enjoyer (+ tv show SaB enjoyer too). If you "are in love with" the Darkling kindly stay away from me. If you hate him and hate that he's a bad guy (psa he's the literal villain) and are all whiney about it stay away from me also. idk I don't really care about the dude. I don't like him but still think he's a well-written character. Malina defender (though I don't really care about them either :/ ).
🌪🔥 ATLA 🌊🌱
consult me before speaking on Azula or Zuko thanks :] (I don't really care much about ships in this fandom, so I don't really have strong opinions about it lol. Still, i'm more of a Kataang and Sokka x Suki enthusiast). If you hate Katara or Aang I hate you <3
Also the whole Zutata vs Kataang ship is tired. If ur a Zuko stan AND a toxic Zutara shipper get out, idc. I think they're cute but Kataang is cuter. and then again idrc about ATLA ships too much
⚔️ ATTACK ON TITAN 🩸
Eren, Armin, Jean enthusiast. Don't really care for ships in this anime either, except maybe Jeanmarco and Historia/Ymir. Not a big fan of Eremika or Eremin (I like them way more platonically), but again idrc. the only thing I really care about is my mental health after watching this
♾️ INFINITY TRAIN 🚃
Simon Laurent #1 Connosieur. thank god Infinity Train is not that famous and I can gatekeep this bpd/ocd-ass blond gay twink demon. I might like Simon and Grace a little bit, they might make me a little bit sick (in a non-ship way!!!!!). Also am a Lake enthusiast and canon-trans-Lake truther, and Amelia is very cool too. Sure would haven been very cool if we'd seen her and Hazel make a found family :)))) sure would be :))) Also! season 4 defender and Ryan Akagi enthusiast. Also Min-Gi did nothing wrong he was just going through some things!).
🪚 CHAINSAW MAN 🩸
Denji enthusiast, Aki Hayakawa's #1 lover. no one gets his sadboy eyes look and lack of wanting to save himself like I do. Also #1 Akiangel enthusiast. Also Nr 1 Hayakawa family (that is Denji, Aki and Power) enthusiast. found family save me found family save me found family. Also Makima enjoyer. god forbid women be batshit crazy 🙄
🍲 DUNGEON MESHI 🍙
Touden siblings #1 enthusiast. Also Kabru, Labru and Farcille enthusiast. Yes I stole Laios' name. Because I love him
🏜 DUNE 🪱
I've only watched the movies, but it's enough to know that Chani deserves better, that Jessica served intergallactic lesbian pussy for almost three hours straight, and that blue-eyed white men must be stopped (still love Paul tho). House Harkonnen enthusiast.
🛡 HOUSE OF THE DRAGON 🐉
Rhaenicent lover and defender, Alicent apologist (what did she do wrong, really), Aegon II enthusiast but in a I want him to die a horrible death because he sucks Way. yknow how it is. Also if you hate Alicent you NEED to kys and if you dislike her I actively don't trust you. Helaena enthusiast and absolute defender. Don't mention Alicent's relationship with either Aegon or Helaena or i WILL convulse on the floor. Team Blue (team women). Love some of the blacks, don't really love most their fans that much :)) . More plot-/individual characters-focused than team-focused, really. if you are blatantly misogynistic towards ANY female hotd character (yes, including the ones you hate), gtfo of this blog.
🦇 INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE 🩸
Armand #1 enthusiast. PLUS DevilsMinion #1 enthusiast. he (and Daniel) consume my every-waking thought. I'm going right through this hyperfixation right now... don't even joke lad i'm going insane i'm SO serious....
Mostly a Loustat truther (also a Louis enthusiast). Claudeleine enjoyer and defender cause they're the only slightly normaler people on that show. Pookies.
I don't think I need to clarify many things concerning this show cause most of the fandom has absolutely correct and based opinions (THANKFULLY).
All in all I looooove seeing gay people be fucked up insane. Also love that this story is not just about who is more mentally ill but underneath that it's a straight up comedy. And underneath it's a commentary on what circumstances can do to familial bonds. And underneath it's the most gut-wrenching tragedy you have ever laid eyes on. And underneath that it's always, and will be, about Love, and the love the characters have for each other despite it all. btw. if u even care :/
