I thought it would be fun to try and capture what I think the ninjas’ music tastes would be in playlists. So, here are 5 playlists of 20 songs each for Lloyd, Kai, Zane, Jay, and Cole. My goal was to make these painfully realistic, so be prepared for a little nonsense!
LLOYD // KAI // ZANE // JAY // COLE
(Warning for explicit lyrics in Lloyd, Kai, and Cole’s playlists. See notes under the cut.)
These playlists are generally meant to be enjoyed in order, but I forgive you if you can’t do that. It's only that I jumped between a lot of different genres for these guys in order to give the impression that theyre well-rounded, so I tried to make the transition smooth. I don’t want you to get jump-scared if you have it on shuffle.
I didn't repeat any artists except for Daft Punk (because I had to for Zane, like, legally), and I tried to stick to each artist's most popular music. I want the average listener to recognize a lot of these! I think that makes it more fun to listen to.
The covers are inspired by those iPod commercials with the silhouettes from the mid 2000s. :)
LLOYD: This playlist is inspired by my experience being a tween/teen in the early-to-mid 2010s. Thank you to all my classmates for your unintentional contributions. And you may be wondering, friend, why did you put so much moody rap music on Lloyd’s playlist? Well, in response I raise my own question: have you ever met a real 16-year old-boy?
KAI: I tried to make the playlist flow with his arc. It starts out with edgy rock music, moves into emo, then J-rock (yes, there’s a Naruto opening in there, it’s Kai, why wouldn’t there be), then scene, then horny dance-pop—just like Kai starting out super angsty, but eventually chilling out to the idiotic flirty mess we know today.
ZANE: I mostly just wanted to capture that he’s really weird. He gives me an oldies vibe. It’s also fun to imagine him trying to figure out wacky song lyrics—I think they would mystify him. I wanted to put “My Kind of Woman” by Mac Demarco on there, but it was the only song from this century on the whole playlist, and it stuck out like a sore thumb. :(
JAY: Thank you to everyone who helped me with the video game OST choices! RIP Jay Walker, you would have loved the Portal games. Other than that, I just went for a mix of Tumblr-y lovey-dovey pop rock and glam 80s pop type junk.
COLE: I think Cole is probably the only one who has a good sense of music. He gives me a music bro vibe. I tried to give him some variety to reflect that, but with a focus on grunge and older metal.
Anyway, enjoy!

hearing about maladaptive daydreaming was so strange because it was just like.. normal? especially for me & my older sister, to the point that if one of us was sitting with their eyes closed or something and the other bothered them and they said they were busy or to go away it was like, common courtesy to be like "oh they're daydreaming i hate when ppl interrupt when i do that I'll leave them alone" unless you like absolutely had to get their attention
but the weirdest part is that i don't really know when it stopped? I know that by high school (13) I didnt do it as much, but im not really sure why? and i certainly still did it, because a lot of my stories were developed through vivid and prolonged daydreams. but its so strange to realize that it was such a huge part of my life that i just don't do anymore and i can't remember how it faded out.
i think technology probably had a hand in it. we got an old ipod from our cousins (our white cousins btw, almost all of our cousins are white. and the only song on the ipod was "nigga stole my bike" which was certainly. something.) and from then on i mostly utilized music to accompany my daydreams. but then i could also play games on it too, and then later on i got a hand-me-down laptop, and then i got my own phone, and then i didnt have the daydream as much cuz if i wanted to exit the world i'd just watch videos non stop for hours or something.

Please post the playlist!! I’ve been loving all the other ones and I’d love to get one for common grounds. Also Ik tumblr is tumblr but if you’d prefer I’ll leave comments on ao3 instead of here. Sorry about that ❤️ I know getting a lot of asks is weird
BELOVED ANON <3 please do not think sending me asks is weird, I welcome them <3 I have been hesitant to post my answers to them because I don't wanna risk revealing too much about recent chapters too soon - BUT THEY DO HAVE ANSWERS AND THEY DO BE WAITING BELOVED <3
as for the playlist, i've linked the act i & unknown planet dance night playlists on the common grounds series masterlist, but you can click the links above to get there directly~ the dance night playlist is kind of a work in progress but if you have recs for dance songs you think oshamir will dance to, i would looooove to see them!! my taste in music is so millennial and niche (and if i'm being honest my spotify wrapped has been mostly film and video game scores for the last 5+ years) so i'm always looking for new recs <3
one of the other playlists i'm working on is a "qimir's ipod" playlist which is what it sounds like, he's probably got some Weird music taste and i can't wait to show y'all what it is!

I posted this to the alternate history subreddit and got zero responses, maybe Tumblr is more interested in discussing this idea?
------------
You ever create an alternate timeline just to indulge in your own nostalgia?
...just me? Okay...
Anyway, for a while now, I've been thinking about an alternate present where present-day sensibilities and everyday life are closer to what they were like pre-2010. Since the biggest influence on modern day life during that time arguably came from the rise of the Internet, social media, and related things, pretty much all of my thoughts center around that.
The point of divergence here is that the Millennium Bug (aka "Y2K") was just as devastating as people feared it would be. Databanks were wiped, machinery failed, there was loads of general unrest as people were falsely classified as deceased, didn't get their paychecks, and other major and minor consequences of their data being either wrong, or gone completely. In some cases, it took years to clean up the mess completely.
This, coupled with the bursting of the dotcom bubble not much later, led to a general wariness and distrust towards anything having to do with the Internet. Businesses might have still been okay with using their homepage as interactive billboards, but it turned out to be almost impossible to find investors or loans if your business directly relied on the Internet. And even those who did get their idea off the ground, failed to find a large enough audience. As such, social media like Facebook and Twitter are barely, if at all, a thing in this world. This is also partly due to smartphones, and therefore smartphone apps, never breaking into the mainstream. Apple could not establish its new iPhone as the lifestyle gimmick of choice, instead going all-in on their iPods, music players that you insert USB drives, and, in modern variants, SD cards into to listen to your favorite tunes. The newest model has three card slots, letting you choose between three different albums on the go!
Streaming, of course, also isn't a thing. No Netflix or iTunes to inspire copycats. Blockbuster partners with Microsoft for their new HD-DVD technology, establishing it as the primary medium to watch videos at home. Sony, meanwhile, focuses its efforts into combining a handheld gaming console and a portable video player. The PSP becomes a huge hit.
But, speaking of video games, online games are an almost negligible market. There's less of a focus on high-end Internet speeds, so playing with friends is an activity mostly relegated to your own home. Microtransactions and subscription services are not a thing.
Some popular websites do establish themselves, but they're far from being as influential and popular as in our world. Youtube stays afloat, but is mostly seen as a place to find new creators, and then follow them onto their own web presence. Very few people manage to make a living off of it, and corporations, TV stations, etc won't be found dead making their own YouTube channels.
Without social media, interactions online are still relegated to message boards and chat rooms, with the accompanying implicit netiquette. Which of course means, everything's still pretty anonymous. Without Facebook introducing the idea of using your real name and photo as part of your online presence (nobody joins a Pokémon fan forum expecting their old classmates to find them there, after all), pseudonyms and avatars rule the day. This, of course, makes it almost impossible for artists to really find an audience, much less make a living off their art. Even if they did find lots of people who enjoy their work, the lack of services like PayPal, Patreon, or Kickstarter, makes it nigh impossible to actually make a profit as an independent online artist. Some find a way, but the concepts of "influencers" and "content creators" never develop.
Amazon fails to establish itself as a major online marketplace. It makes enough for Jeff Bezos to start a chain of brick and mortar bookstores, with the online storefront being more of an afterthought. Most, if not all online shopping is really just individuals selling their old stuff, usually locally.
That's all I really have so far. I'd love to hear some more ideas, maybe things that aren't as tech-centric? Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

For the”send me a #” game: OMG answers about Maeve and Jace were sooo cool, can I ask 3 randomised questions more?? 🙏 Already love your characters, it seems you care about them a lot, like a loving parent :D also love the names so much, esp Jace, sounds so beautiful and refreshing and I haven’t heard that name before!
awww thank you so much!! :D Jace has always been one of my favorite names so I'm happy you love it too <3
how do they listen to their music? iPod, mp3, computer, CD, records, etc?
Maeve usually listens to music with her AirPods. She prefers to be immersed in the sound, which involves tuning out the rest of the world around her.
Jace enjoys listening to records. He believes that they provide a more authentic sound that way, though he's not pretentious about it.
what do they normally dream about? nightmares or nonsense?
Maeve normally dreams about traveling. She has a free spirit and a need to see the sights and visit new cities, even if it's just to do the cheesy touristy things. Up until going on tour with Jace, her dreams were her only means of escape.
Jace dreams about nonsense, mostly. His dreams mix together, meaning he can never infer enough meaning or even remember enough of it to understand them. Because of this, he usually wakes up confused.
do they have parents / parental figures? do they have a good relationship with them?
Maeve has both of her parents in her life and she has a good relationship with them. She is more of a mom's girl, as her mother is the one that got her into some of her hobbies. Though her dad is the main working parent in the household, she has a great relationship with him and they enjoy playing video games like Mario Kart together.
Jace has a good relationship with his mother. His father is out of the picture, has been since Jace was born. He's never known who he was, but doesn't have much interest in finding out because if he left his mother, then he's not worth knowing. He looks up to his mother and admires her for her strength in being a single mother, and can't help but be grateful for her allowing him to pursue his dreams.
feel free to ask more! list here

My downfall is how I try to keep memories alive. I get scared I’ll forget them forever so I replay random memories from years and years ago to keep it alive in my brain so they don’t go down the abyss —the memory dump— like bing bong from inside out. Like a random Cartoon Network commercial of the scooby doo fruit snacks (or was it a cereal commercial?) from a pre recorded episode of justice league unlimited. Or me being on my sister’s computer in her room (during her teen years/my childhood) whether it was playing the Sims, Disney Magic Artist Studio game, being on iTunes or YouTube, right under her top bunk bed that you had to climb the ladder to get onto and we would sleep together in her bed sometimes bc we were besties. And the metal from the bed would constantly shake as if it would break on you any minute even if you moved an inch. Or when she gave me my first bratz doll that was hers, Cameron, and it started my little journey playing with bratz. Or when I had my hot pink razr flip phone 💁♀️ and would watch music on demand and put the phone close to the tv speaker to record the chorus of J Holidays Bed as my ringtone (I was not even double digits bro😭). Or being in this after school program in middle school for that one year and it being some of the best times of my life. Or that one time we got to text Disney channel which Hannah Montana episode we wanted to air before the others (it was out of 3 episodes… or 2? Idk if anyone knows what I’m talking about). Or my three way phone calls (after 8? Or 9pm? So it wouldn’t take from my minutes) I had with my two friends from that middle school at the time late at night and the one always having to hang up and being unreachable by phone half the time lol. Or listening to Alicia keys try sleeping with a broken heart on my sisters old iPod mini she gave me and had her songs still on it, and I sat on the floor heartbroken (like I knew what love was) for my 6th grade crush that had no idea I was obsessed with her😭 but all my friends did bc I’d alwaysss talk about how cute she was. Or my little big planet days being friends with people from the UK and building and playing levels. Or the first time I got my period and I was playing that game and texting that same crush at the time (I think I told her about it). It was summer, and my family and I were going somewhere In New York later that day, and my parents were in a weird period in their divorce where they were still together. Or going to see my cousins in the Bronx when I was younger almost every weekend at one point, with my one guy cousin who’s a year older and I thought he was the coolest person ever and I wanted to be him. Or being on vacation with my fam every year to Orlando til I was 11, and being in the car on the highway to Seaworld (we’d go to universal mostly tho) and Dolphin and Gold by Prince playing and it just feeling magical. We always listened to Prince. Or a random memory after an away softball game? Basketball game? From sophomore year of hs and thinking to myself, staring out the bus window on the ride back to our school, about why I think so deeply and feeling so alone in that and in my thoughts.
I like to keep random memories alive. I actively search for them to keep them in my consciousness and retrieve them like archives. I’m scared of forgetting. I’ve always been like that. Yearning for the past ever since I reached my teens. Escaping my reality. My dads like that too 🤣 But then it’s like… you miss what’s right in front of you right now that is gonna be something you’re nostalgic for in a couple years from now. It’s definitely my biggest setback. I just feel so connected to my past and my roots. My family, old tv shows, old connections, old video games. It’s what keeps me here today. But my life path is about letting go. I hold on with a death grip lol. What does it feel like to live in the present?

Technology has become an integral part of modern life, and its impact on childhood development has been debated for many years. As a child who grew up in a pre-digital age, I have observed the drastic changes technology has brought to children's lives. Children today are more dependent on screens and less reliant on face-to-face interactions, which may harm their social skills and emotional development. It was uncommon for kids to access a mobile device or tablet in my childhood. Instead, we played outside, read books, and interacted with each other in person. Technology was not a significant aspect of our lives, and we did not rely on it for entertainment or socialization. However, as I grew older, technology gradually became more prevalent in children's lives, and today's kids are growing up with screens constantly in their faces.
My parents got me an iPod touch for my birthday when I was in first grade. At the time that wasn't extremely uncommon, lots of kids my age had an iPod but that was the extent of personal devices, at least the community I grew up in. I was thrilled about my iPod, I downloaded tons of music and mobile games onto it like Plants vs Zombies. I have a lot of nostalgia and memories when it comes to that iPod, which I actually do still have kept for sentimental reasons. When I was growing up kids had iPods but they did not have iPads and nowadays I constantly see children with screens in their face always watching some sort of video. And a lot of the times their parents allow it to keep them busy and not complaining. It's an easy fix to solve a kids problems but it comes at the cost of obsession and addiction with children not being able to go out without some device. When it comes to social media, most kids in my grade didn't get it until around 7th to 8th grade, and even then, it was limited. Although we did have Youtube although out elementary school, but it wasn't on our phones or iPads it was on a home desktop computer typically. And that wasn't really considered social media at that time. So how do we as a culture and society fix this issue with not only children but also ourselves? I can't deny that I also am on my phone and screens a good amount of the day, let's acknowledge the fact that I'm complaining about people using screens too much while writing on a screen. I think people might attach themselves to something like an iPod the same way they might with their first bicycle or car. It might not have been the nicest thing in the world but it meant something to you because it represented the next chapter or step in your life. And I think a lot people would agree that that makes it culturally valued as well because at the time it was super cool and you got a lot of enjoyment out of it.
Social media and its effect on children specifically is an issue in and of itself, and it's becoming an epidemic. Teens can get caught up in the number of likes, comments, and followers they have, making them feel good or bad about themselves. But it mostly makes them feel bad about themsleves. This can lead to cyberbullying or feeling like they don't fit in with their friends. It's also tough to tear kids away from their screens once they get into social media and video games. This can make it hard for them to focus on schoolwork and other activities requiring concentration, hurting their grades. The downside of technology is that it can also make kids less interested in hanging out with their friends and experiencing the real world. They may miss out on some cool experiences because they're too busy staring at screens. It personally bothers me a lot because some of my best memories as a kid was golfing with my friends, hiking, going swimming in the creek or lake, and I just see youth doing those things as much anymore. If I do see them, they are almost always on their phone recording it. One of the biggest things I've noticed this issue at is concerts. I used to go to concerts and just listen and experience the music nowadays, we just record the whole thing on our phones. I can't claim I dont do that occasionally, but its sad to see, and I try to avoid doing that.. Also, they may miss out on valuable opportunities to learn how to communicate and build relationships with their peers, which could lead to social awkwardness and difficulty forming close friendships. According to The Impact Of Screen Media On Children: A Eurovision For Parliament "Over the last twenty years social interaction (eye-to-eye contact) has gone down while eye-to-screen-contact has gone up. Just before the year 2000 life became literally virtual: people would spend more time in front of a screen than spending time interacting with other human beings." (Source) While technology has undoubtedly brought many benefits to our lives, it is essential to recognize its potential negative impacts on children's development. Parents and educators must work together to balance technology and real-world experiences, ensuring children develop social skills and emotional intelligence alongside their technological abilities. We must refrain from allowing the convenience of screens to come at the cost of human interaction and emotional development.
We need to continue to familiarize ourselves about the potential risks and benefits screens can possibly have on children. Screens, such as TVs, tablets, smartphones, and computers, have become an integral part of children's lives in today's society. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics (source) "Children aged 2 to 5 years should have no more than one hour of screen time per day". In comparison, children aged six years and above should have consistent limits on the amount of time spent using media. However, these guidelines often need to be followed, and there is growing concerned about the effects screens may have on children's development. This blog series aims to explore the impact of screens on children's growth from a balanced and evidence-based perspective and provide practical strategies and recommendations for promoting healthy development in children. Some Potential Benefits and Risks of Screen Time for Children's Development are that screen time can positively and negatively affect children's development. On the positive side, screens can provide educational opportunities, such as access to online resources, interactive learning games, and virtual field trips. Screens can also facilitate social connections and communication with friends and family far away.
However, excessive screen time can harm children's physical, cognitive, and socio-emotional development. For instance, excessive screen time has been linked to obesity, and according to a study "A majority (90%) of the studies included in a systematic review of research on screen time in children and teenagers found adverse associations between screen time and sleep health – primarily because of later bedtimes and less time spent sleeping" (Source). As well as eye strain, and posture problems. Additionally, excessive screen time can interfere with children's cognitive development by reducing their attention span, inhibiting their ability to focus, and reducing their ability to learn from real-life experiences. Furthermore, excessive screen time can lead to socio-emotional problems such as decreased empathy, reduced social skills, and increased aggression.
Spending too much time in front of screens can have poor effects on their overall well-being. For example, it can put them at risk for health problems like obesity. Plus, staring at screens for too long can cause eye strain, headaches, and pain in the neck and shoulders. Spending more than a couple of hours a day on screens can also mess with our sleep patterns, which can be detrimental to our physical health. Regarding cognitive development, too much screen time can make it harder for kids to focus and learn from real-life experiencesAdditionally, excessive screen time has been linked to poorer academic performance, including lower grades and test scores and according to a study "The key finding from the systematic review was that in most of the papers reviewed, as time spent watching television increased, academic performance suffered." (Source) Socio-Emotional Development: Excessive screen time can lead to socio-emotional problems such as decreased empathy, reduced social skills, and increased aggression. Children who spend more time on screens are more likely to experience social isolation, which can adversely affect their mental health.
Before we start to point fingers at each other let's first realize we all have a part in this issue. Beginning to recognize the problem and take responsibility for our actions is a good first step in bettering ourselves. Addiction to screens can lead to a lack of productivity, poor sleep, eye strain, and even depression. Acknowledging the issue and its consequences is the first step in overcoming it. We can begin to self-improve ourselves and leave a good example for the next generation by taking concrete steps to limit our screen time. One way to do this is to set a time limit for using screens. For example, we could limit our screen time to a certain number of hours per day or set specific times during the day when we can use screens. We could also use apps that track our screen time and provide notifications when we exceed our limit.
Spending too much time in front of screens can affect your well-being. That's why it's important to acknowledge the problem and take steps to fix it. One suggestion on how to do this can be by replacing some of our screen time with activities that are good for your brain and health, like exercising, reading, or spending time outdoors. That way, you improve your mental state and get healthier, killing two birds with one stone. Another way we can fix our screen addiction by working on personal growth and bettering ourselves. This means setting goals for ourselves, like jogging every day and lowering your 5k time. When people start to set goals that they can accomplish, it gives them a sense of purpose. And having a sense of purpose can distract yourself from spending meaningless time on your phone. Also, learning new things can also open up new opportunities. And taking care of yourself whether through maybe playing sports like golf or taking up a diary for example can be really helpfulfor our mental and emotional health. Therefore cutting your screen time down. So to recap, if you genuinely want to improve yourself and take some self-responsibility, you must consciously limit your screen time and focus on self-improvement. So hopefully, the evidence above will persuade you to do so.

Not a General K-Pop Stan, Just a Lee Jung-Hyun Stan.
It's no secret that I used to be hooked on a different video game about 20 years ago. Back then, Dance Dance Revolution was my jam since I first played it in 2000. If I saw a machine in an arcade, I had to play it. I owned all the Playstation/PS2 games up to Supernova 2. Until 2007, I kept my Stepmania up to date with all the newest officially-released steps. I owned 4 heavy-foam insert dance mats for the annual DDR parties I'd run at Anime Detour, Anime Iowa, and CONvergence. I wasn't the best at the game, but I did have a couple 10-footers under my belt back when that was the highest level. Eventually though, so many new releases were happening that I couldn't keep up with the Stepmania updates, and between that and the resurrection of my old 1990s radio show, my fever for the game just waned around 2008-09. What drew me in mostly was the songs, many were hard-driving EDM, which still gets me today, but among the music, one artist stood out for me after I first heard one of her songs played on DDR4+... "Ba kkwo! Ba kkwo! Ba kkwo!...." -- hooked by the hook! Mall of America's first DDR machine in 2001 was a DDR3 Korean v2, which has all the tunes from the original DDR3 plus a selection of popular K-pop from the time. This was the first version of DDR that particular song appeared on, and about 3 or 4 K-pop songs from that version got their Japanese DDR premiere in DDR4+ later. Two of them were by S Korea's "techno queen" at the time: Lee Jung-Hyun. Her first 2 hits from 1999, "Wa" and "Ba Kkwo". They were two of the most amazing songs I had ever heard in my life... at the time. So I had to seek out more. This was 2001/2002, so getting my hands on an actual CD was pretty much out of the question. Luckily, Aimster existed, and I built a nice collection from that, transferred them to cassette, and looped them in my car nonstop (until I got my first iPod, that is) Dana deciding to recently order her first album from iTunes re-ignited my fire for this artist, and as for her image at the time, she kinda filled the gap of "artists of presentation" between Madonna before her and Lady Gaga after her, with outrageous outfits and elaborate choreographed dance moves. But my fave song of hers will always be that song of the gaslit lover who just woke up to the truth: "Ba Kkwo" (which translates to "Change"). It's angry. It's powerful. It needs to be played REALLY LOUD! And last night, I fell down the "Ba Kkwo" rabbit hole, listening to covers, and found one that had English lyrics, but it was a mashup between "Ba Kkwo" and "Wa" done in 2013 by Jason Ray. Unlike some other songs I could mention (coughQueenOfLovecough), these English lyrics actually fit the gist of the original lyrics, but rearranged and reworded for cadence, scanning, and rhyme. It's a process I call "WordFit", named after the same process Viz Media used to do for theme songs of anime shows. However, in the mashup, only the first verse and chorus of "Ba Kkwo" and the chorus of "Wa" were WordFitted. See, one of my holy grails of karaoke is to perform "Ba Kkwo" with full English lyrics. I tried my hand at a WordFit about 15 years ago to no avail. Jason Ray's mashup gave me impetus to try again, since now part of the work was done for me. I did it. Finally. And yes, I have obtained the karaoke track. --------------------------------------------
[Existing WordFits from Jason Ray] What do you want me to say to you? You drive me crazy with the things you do I don't believe your words, and don't know if you're telling me the truth. Quit tryin' to sell me all your dirty lies You know you're guilty and you can't deny Stop pointing fingers, and just think about the things that you have done.
CHORUS Ba kkwo. ba kkwo, ba kkwo, change everything Ba kkwo. ba kkwo, ba kkwo, change all the love Ba kkwo. ba kkwo, ba kkwo, change all the lies Ba kkwo. ba kkwo, ba kkwo, change all our world, ba kkwo!
[Official English lyrics] Thought it was a must to trust you, now I’ll crush you Analyzing my brain, feel nothing but pain The pain inside, I just can't take it no more Now I’ve got to let you go so just…
[Wordfits from me]
All you do now is bring up the past Can't I be forgiven for my acts? If you feel that way, then why did you think this was gonna last? Now I've changed because you hurt me so No longer the naive girl you used to know It's too late now to apologize for how you let me go.
CHORUS Ba kkwo. ba kkwo, ba kkwo, change everything Ba kkwo. ba kkwo, ba kkwo, change all the love Ba kkwo. ba kkwo, ba kkwo, change all the lies Ba kkwo. ba kkwo, ba kkwo, change all our world Ba kkwo. ba kkwo, ba kkwo, change everything Ba kkwo. ba kkwo, ba kkwo, change all the love Ba kkwo. ba kkwo, ba kkwo, change all the lies Ba kkwo. ba kkwo, it's time to make a total change, ba kkwo! ----------------------------------------------- EDIT: I just finished "Wa" too
[WordFits From Me] I didn't want it to end this way, no, my heart can't believe it's real Whatever could have gone wrong with our love, why did we change the way we feel? Although it hurts inside, I can't bear to look your way. 'Cause goodbye would only increase the pain.
[Existing WordFits from Jason Ray] CHORUS How could you play me like a game and walk away Tell me the reason why you act so strange You said you'd never ever play me like this way Now is the time for us to make a change Oh OhOhOh Oh Oh Oh Oh We're gonna change the way we play Oh OhOhOh Oh Oh Oh Oh I won't let you walk away
[WordFits From Me] Too often I've been betrayed by love, thought my bad luck was finally done I thought that you would stay with me forever, I thought that you'd be the one And now I'm all alone, left here crying out in pain I'll never heal from this, never be the same
[Existing WordFits from Jason Ray] CHORUS How could you play me like a game and walk away Tell me the reason why you act so strange You said you'd never ever play me like this way Now is the time for us to make a change Oh OhOhOh Oh Oh Oh Oh We're gonna change the way we play Oh OhOhOh Oh Oh Oh Oh I won't let you walk away
[Official English Lyrics] Back to my fantasy, My own legacy Let me dream on and so on, Let it go on and on Now take me back to my fantasy, My only legacy Let me dream on and so on, Let it go on and on

Hey!! Thanks @uncleasad for tagging me in this! :D
Music: So my favourite bands/artists are Fall Out Boy, P!nk, One Ok Rock, Stray Kids, Dreamcatcher, KARD, and Black Veil Brides. So like, I guess lots of punk rock/pop with rock/metal stuff. I do prefer songs where it hypes me up like video game OSTs (Final Fantasy, Fire Emblem, Pokemon). JPop/JRock are pretty good too, like listen--my entire childhood and teen years were surrounded by anime openings and ending songs that I would download to my little iPod Nano or record on my slidey phone as a video so I can put it on repeat like a maniac lol. I will listen to a few indie stuff though if I vibe with the song.
Lifestyle: I'm a hermit. 'nuff said.
Writing: I've written a lot of stories for as long as I can remember. Probably since I was a kid. I've written original stories and fanfiction--though heavily more fanfiction throughout my years. I just started getting back into writing original ideas (like my mermaid novel that I would like to get published one day) and have been dabbling in a few short stories that I have yet to finish (lol). I still write fanfiction and I love writing fanfiction because it lets me write these silly story ideas to life and see if anyone else vibes with them too, but I do have the terrible habit of picking up new ideas and never finishing the older ones (I'm so sorry to my Lanille and my Ikarishipping readers). I did do screenwriting though that was fun and wrote some short films. I have a couple of animation shows that have been in the work, as well as a few live-action shows. There was a webseries project I was working on but that fell through and I will leave it as that. But you can mostly find me on my ao3 posting silly stories
Me: The dorkiest nerd ever, introvert with lots of anxiety, I am a witch who primarily loves doing bottle spells, sigils, and tarot/oracle readings. I love playing magic/caster characters but I somehow ever end up playing the tanky characters because I love running in and hitting things 🤣 Ghost Pokemon Trainer all the way babeeyyy. If we go to a hardware store, I am immediately bolting to the paint section and grabbing all the paint colour sample papers. There is no stopping me. I will take them all.
I truly do not know who to tag lmao
maybe @elpsycongruent @peoplefully and @elpantalones but also like you don't have to do this a;ldksjaldfkj *hides*
and whoever else who sees this wanna do it then feel free!
get to know you? music, lifestyle, writing, etc. just stuff that makes you, you
and maybe tag some people to start a chain? totally optional!
:D sure! thank you for the ask 🫶🏻
music: I love synths like a heathen… I write, primarily, so the lyrics matter a lot to me, but I used to play a couple instruments so I love listening to all parts of a song. hyper pop, pop rock, indie pop, indie rock? I think those are the genre names. my top songs rn are sweet dreams by eurythmics, the other side of paradise by glass animals, and sober by big bang
lifestyle: cathemeral omnivore…? my life currently revolves around school, my job, and other career responsibilities ^^
writing: sporadic (as you can tell rip), I edit in my head and as I write, I’ve always loved analyzing text and really enjoy it!
me: umm I’m having a cold brew with silk oat milk and vanilla torani rn, I have a cat I love her, I get easily overstimulated when it comes to stuff touching me but I’ll watch two youtube videos at the same time, I love food I live to eat, I love the nyt connections
tags: @woewriting @melrodrigo @mindyswhore @marvelfilth @jazzyoranges @sytoran @jjsmaybank20 @alkivm @crazyoffher I’m almost positive I missed something but PLEASE PARTICIPATE if you want <3

Last Monday of the Week 2022-09-19
Eight hours of power cuts a day baybee let's go
(please do not go)
Listening: A T-Square song I hadn't heard before, "A Feel Deep Inside" which is simply delightful. Upbeat cheery jazz saxophone and bass guitar and a fantastic guitar solo and whatever the other like eight people in T-Square decided goes along with that. Dancing music.
youtube
Reading: Busy this week between apartment hunting and taking on an urgent project at work so I only got halfway through Nona the Ninth.
It's so funny that Nona is Harrow's Body. The scrawny gloomy little bone queen who was the actual dictator of a planet is now a scrawny teen who likes dogs and and is looked after by people who mostly remember her as the murderous bone queen. Peak comedy at all times.
The story is playing with names and bodies in really interesting ways, most obviously Cam and Pal and Pyrrha but even the fact that you get lots of descriptions of people before you learn exactly who they are, and often those descriptions contradict how you knew them before because it's coming from overfriendly and easily influenced Nona, not snarky and jaded Gideon.
Watching: For the 40th anniversary of ET they had it in the local IMAX theater, which was really impressive. I haven't watched ET as much as my brother has but it's still a hell of a movie.
The SFX hold up so well, and because ET is a basic case study in classical effects you get to be blown away even while knowing how it's done. The writing is also subtle and clever, the best jokes are given almost no run up and they still land in the middle of the busiest scenes.
Also watched something while sewing that was so utterly forgettable that I really have nothing to say about it. Can't remember the title or what happened.
Playing: Frequent power interruptions get in the way of my video games. I poked around the opening section of Dark Souls I and then lost power. The rest of this week's game time was the Forza weeklies, which I use to listen to Podcasts. Also the Audi RS E-Tron is in the latest update so I do want that.
Making: More quilting: progress continues apace and I finally bought more actual fabric pencils so my stitching is even neater now. I really need to press this, I'm worried about consistency but it's probably fine. Pressing makes everything better and/or worse. Sometimes both!
Cleaning up this old wardrobe my mother bought on Facebook, weird old pile of junk with decent wood that we're going to convert into a bookshelf.
Seriously need to be refinished and it was covered in sand and mud from wherever it was stored. Cleaned up nice enough.
Tools and Equipment: I discovered that pretty much any USB-C to USB-A adapter automatically functions as a USB-OTG converter for a smartphone: I used the one that came with my trackball to hook my phone up to my iPod and transfer some new songs I bought on Bandcamp across. Neat trick!
On Micro-USB you could short together a dedicated signal pin and ground to enable OTG capabilities but even when you bought a dedicated cable it was finicky, this is very easy. It's extremely handy to be able to talk to flash drives from a smartphone, I'm going to put this thing on a keychain.

10, 16, 17, 22 for the music asks! 🎶
THANK YOU SCHMOOPIE 🖤🖤
10.) "What was your first concert?" THIS ONE'S A DEEP CUT LMAO I don't know if this counts as a concert bc it was actually more of a small bar gig not a big concert, but I count it bc I love them My first concert (that I remember at least) was going to see Driftless Pony Club!! I'm pretty sure it was around 2011, so I was like… 12/13? It was super fun!! WheezyWaiter signed my sibling's friend's face connecting his beard to his sideburn it was great askansjdf. If you've never heard their music and enjoy some early 2010s indie, I highly recommend their first two albums "Buckminster" and "Expert," the sound of my childhood 🖤🖤
16.) "Have you ever been in the first row for a concert? if not, what was the closest seat you’ve ever had?" Not yet, I really, really hope to get close for Ghost in Sept. tho 😭 The closest I've been was in GenAdm at Monumentour 2014 seeing Fall Out Boy and Paramore lmaooo I'm not as into them anymore, but I had the TIME OF MY LIFE. I was like five rows of people from the stage and I could have touched Joe Trohman it was amazinggg. I have a bunch of shitty quality pics and videos of it from my ipod touch 4 LMAO I was also pretty close to the front when I went to see Against Me! in 2018, we were standing a level above ground to avoid the pit, they put on an AMAZING show. I adore LJG and Against Me! holds a very special place in my heart (Also idk if this counts bc not a concert, but I got front row tickets to see the Beetlejuice musical on broadway. It was the second to last show with the full original cast before Rob McClure left and I cried so hard it was amazingggggg 😭😭😭)
17.) "If you could go back in time and attend any artist/band’s concert that you were unable to attend, who would it be and when?" FR??? I just want to go back in time a few years and have listened to Ghost since Meliora era. I was so close!! I've known about them for a while having had only listened to Square Hammer, but only recently got really actually into them. Gross buzzword, I know, but I have such fomo for not being able to see papa iii in concert 💀💀💀 That, or, there was a time Todd Rundgren came to a city near me. I wanted to take my dad for Father's Day bc he introduced me to his music, but I just wasn't able to swing it 😔
22.) "Name a song that reminds you of one of your best memories" Ooooh that's a tough one, I've got bad memory kasdfkjank A lot of these are more like general ethereal feelings of being happy with people I love since I'm bad at remembering specific events 😭 The entire RENT soundtrack makes me happy bc it makes me think of many a road trip spent with my sibling and my best friend from high school, that and screaming Hamilton with my sibling driving me back and forth home on the weekends for the short time I was in college The Sweeney Todd soundtrack makes me think of my mom, she's the one that got me into musicals from her love of theater. We used to have matching MP3 players, and that soundtrack specifically was one of the few things on hers LOL Meat Market by Everybody Else and How The Day Sounds by Greg Laswell make me think of playing OMGPOP games with dear friends I have a lot of music that I connect to my bestie and roommate kenzie, but we've been living together for over two years through the (multiple) pandemic(s) so I Cannot list everything, mostly more musical soundtracks come to mind. I love that bitch ✊✊ Also in general, Welcome To The Family by Watsky gives me a very warm happy feeling and always makes me think of my friends
#sorry schmoopie is a goof name my friend uses and it rubbed off on me askdjfnak#ALSO SORRY THIS IS SO LONG#i really love music and feelings it can give you#it's a fuckin powerful thing man 😭#ask games#ask#wow-david

my favorite sophitz hcs for ur daily dose of the best ship in kotlc
sophie has a designated napping chair in fitzs room that she sleeps on after school
they have telepathic conversations whenever theyre bored in class which turns into competitions on who can distract the other the most or fitz trying to make sophie blush as much as possible
telepathy classes are both their favorite time of the day because they basically just talk for an hour straight
every five minutes one of them will burst into laughter or start blushing to which tiergan just rolls his eyes and shakes his head at
sophie finds out fitz can paint nails very well because biana and makes him paint her nails all the time
splotching matches become so competitive like very competitive
the gym has to be absolutely covered in mattresses in case of another brain push incident and elwin is there on standby
keefe collects bets from prodigies on who will win, biana sells pins that kids replace their family crests with for the entire day, and dex records the match so they can mock the loser by playing the video many, many times
they usually end up in a tie until one of them says something funny/distracting and they lose focus
the best match will always be when fitz teasingly calls her sweetheart and the splotch instantly hits sophie in the arm
she calls him a cheater and he laughs at her blushing face but its okay because when theyre about to kiss, sophie takes another splotch and dunks it on his head
OH AND fitz stands by her locker everyday since shes always late and hands her a baked good or a jug or coffee
speaking of baked goods, sophie cannot bake at all, at least in the elvin world (that one time she did was w Edaline and she mostly just watched her conjure things up)
apparently their deep connection and trust and them being the most powerful cognates, does not help them in baking
“What did you do?!!” “Nothing! I just put it in the oven at 350 degrees-“ “350?!? Are you insane, Soph?!” “What is it meant to be?” “Fifty!” “FIFTY?!”
even verdi would not eat it
but when theyre not burning the house down- i mean baking, they usually hang-out in fitz or sophies room, but most often they’re out by calla’s tree
fitz would be reading a book while sophie would be listening to music from her ipod
when they start having dancing classes for their school gala, sophie is her usual clumsy self so fitz offers to teach her while they sit outside
sophie would play music and they’d dance with their books scattered around them until the sun started to set and when she would laugh, fitz would spin her around and they realized that it wasn’t just the leaves from the tree that were falling anymore
the first time edaline spotted them she nearly fainted and quickly called grady to come over
he was just about to barge out of the house and get all over-protective when sophie leaned her head against fitz’s chest and closed her eyes. fitz just looked down at her adoringly, his teal eyes sparkling in the sunlight
Grady sighed and decided maybe it wasnt so bad that his daughter had another boy in her life that made her happy, even if the boy might make her happier than he did
THAT STILL DIDN’T STOP HIS DAD SPEECH FROM BEING VERY THREATENING THO
GRADY WAS SURE TO BRING IN THE FACT THAT HE WAS A MESMER MANY TIMES
sophie had never laughed harder than when she saw fitz come into her room after he talked with grady
“It’s not funny! I’m honestly shocked my echo didn’t start up again!” “You’re so pale you look faded!”
one funny day, sophie was so sleepy that she somehow accidentally put on fitz’s crest that he had forgotten at her house and she didn’t notice until he saw her and broke out into a grin
“So that’s where my other crest went.”
ALSO after many games and very quick wins, they are officially banned from playing base quest together on the same team
when shes serious or wants to annoy him, sophie uses fitz’s full name
“You wouldn’t, Sophie.” “You never know, Fitzroy.”
it leads to a lot of tickle fights but hey what can you do
fitzs favorite color is red because sophie looks very pretty in red and also because mr snuggles is red and mr snuggles reminds him of sophie who looks very pretty in red
#sophitz#fitzphie#kotlc#sophitz headcanons#god i love them#i would sell my kneecaps for them#sophitz positivity

Any HCs about the Cullens interacting with 2020 culture? Like is Emmett a huge sneaker head? Does Carlisle listen to NPR podcasts on 2x speed? Does Alice have a collection of quirky “y2k bags” she bought on Depop that are actually just Powerpuff girls lunchboxes?
So the secret to my time sitting on this ask is actually that I am bad at 2020s culture. I’m old in the grand scheme of tumblr fandom, which apparently is ironically better summarized by “I’m new here.” But here are a few things as I think about what they are up to right now with stuff I know enough about to feel confident about how the Cullens would interact with it. Under a cut because apparently I *do* have a few ideas...
Carlisle is an Apple aficionado. Esme jokingly got him an early generation iPod in the early 2000s, not long after they came out (they couldn’t give one to Edward because twenty years later he is still crabbing about lossy music). She expected him to dislike it. And then she was surprised that he took to it and loved it. He bought an iPhone right away in 2007 and now bribes people at Foxconn just so he can have the latest phone early. He wears an Apple Watch Series 6 at the hospital; he has heartbeat notifications turned off.
Speaking of lossy music, Edward is thrilled about the resurgence of vinyl. The amount of time he spends in record stores simultaneously drives Bella crazy and also allows her to get him out of her hair on the regular. He likes acoustic-forward bands like the Lumineers and Mumford and Sons.
Emmett is very excited about all the attention being paid to Dolly Parton. He listened to every episode of Dolly Parton’s America as soon as it dropped. He made Rosalie watch Dumplin’. Emmett and Alice are the big fans of Drag Race. Esme joins them for binging Queer Eye. The whole family is into Game of Thrones and The Mandalorian. Those are the shows for which spoilers will get you hurt in the Cullen household. Esme and Carlisle also love This Is Us and all the kids make fun of them for it. Rosalie was surprised she liked Hamilton as much as she did. Renesmee’s love of it is much less surprising. They quote lines at each other well...nonstop.
Alice really enjoys fashion tik tok, instagram, and YouTube. But mostly in the yelling at people mode. Carlisle has forbidden (in as much as he ever forbids--it was more like, “You understand this could kill us all, right?”) all of them from actually having accounts where they show their faces, but Alice likes to assemble photos of outfits with captions about how to wear the pieces. Every time her follower count gets too big, she starts a new one and acts like an amateur for a while. Emmett doesn’t have a tik tok of his own (he wants one; Carlisle put his foot down) but he can lose hours watching videos turned up by the algorithm.
Jasper is still quite content to just be reclusive and old. He finally gave up his flip phone eighteen months ago. Renesmee tried to get him to play Animal Crossing and Among Us but he quit both. They do play the Lego games on PS4 though. Her favorite is Harry Potter; his is Avengers.
Esme watches too much HGTV. Chip and Joanna remind her of her own marriage, and she also never misses Rehab Addict.
Bella is making up for lost time by doing graduate degree work. In her free time, though, she’s loved Scandal and Suits, and she watched Bridgerton in one straight binge on Boxing Day.

Whats your favorite song at the moment
Hey Nonny!
Ooof Too many, hahhaha! Because I don’t leave home anymore, I’m not looking constantly for new music to add to my Playlist, so mostly it’s stuff that I come across on Tumblr and is living rent-free in my head on repeat, or me digging on my harddrives for a nostalgia kick.... currently, these are the top 5 cycling in my head, no particular order:
(EDIT IT’S NOW TEN. I COULDN’T CHOOSE. LISTEN TO THEM ALL. THEY’RE ALL AMAZING)
(EDIT 2 SORRY IT’S NOW 15!! NONNY I’M SO SORRY. I know no one cares, but I LOVE sharing my Music with people)
(EDIT 3 *SIGH* Now 20. :| HELP. Stopping before I get carried away. No one ever likes my music so I love when people ask me for my songs with genuine interest)
Nathan Evans - The Wellerman (220 Kid X Billen Ted Remix) (flashing images CW in video!) – Got into the original of this one during the sea shanty trend, and then this dance remix came out... those of you who know me well, know that I am HOOKED on remixes, especially dance remixes. So I was so happy about this official one.
The Kiffness - Ievan Polkka ft. Bilal Göregen (Club Remix) – This one I got into because I think, again, the original with the blind man was trending, and then I found this remix artist on YouTube from his remix of The Wellerman, and his is SOOOO good!! I loved this song back in the early noughts when it was popular as “Leek Spin”. But then these young folks had to go and make it amazing again!!
ZHU, partywithray - Came For The Low – (LOTS OF FLASHING LIGHTS IN VIDEO CW!) Thank Falcon And the Winter Soldier for this one! It took me a WEEK to find out what song they’re playing in the club in Episode 3 when Zemo’s dancing, and YAY I found this finally (not the one hour one, sadly, still trying to find the song D+ Marvel used for that one). I LOVE IT. LISTEN TO IT. SO good if you like heavy club beats
Sim Gretina - A Friend Like Me (Electro Swing Remix) – This is SATISFYING. I LOVE IT. Found it years ago after that homemade Aladdin carpet video was going viral, and every time it comes up on my playlist, I replay it like 6 times.
Linkin Park - Numb (80′s Remix) – That tumblr meme song that went around years ago? HERE YOU ARE!!! :D This is TOO SHORT and it’s also on repeat when I listen to it. Y’all, this is what depression feels like when you’re trying to pretend to be happy all the time LOL. It’s a whole MOOD. This one is great to blast in the car and have people confused at you singing at the top of your lungs. Like, “I AM NUMB AND AN EDGELORD BUT READY TO PARTY!!!”.
One Ton - Supersexworld – Okay, this is an OLLLLLLDDD one by a one-hit wonder Canadian band that I stumbled upon recently when I was going through my hard drives to find new stuff to put onto my iPhone. I was OBSESSED with this song when it first came out, forgot about it, and NOW... SHIT I can’t STOP. This one is BLARING when I hear it, and am so happy I found it again. It’s simple, amazing, and AWESOME. LISTEN TO IT. You will love it. Please. It’s got one verse and one chorus over and over, and it’s catchy as hell. It’s on my personal Johnlock playlist :D
Deorro - Rise and Shine – GUYS. This song. Also on my personal Johnlock Playlist, this one is SOMETHING. First heard it in my BodyPump class, I NEEDED it. It’s SO GOOD. Jazzy Club Music??? YES PLEASE! Video is all kinds of amazing? YES PLEASE. PLEASE listen to this. I LOVE IT SO MUCH.
Bloodhound Gang - The Bad Touch (Eiffel 65 Remix) – Is this song a decade old? YES. Has it been on my iPod since it first came out? FUCK YES. Y’all, Eiffel 65 is SO underrated for their remixes. This is one of their best remixes, and it’s the PERFECT walking song. YES I look like an idiot walking to it, but I love it SO MUCH. It’s better than the original, imho.
Gotye feat. Kimbra - Somebody That I Used To Know (Bastian Van Shield Remix) – LOL I KNOW: sacrilege to remix Gotye, but Y’ALL. This is the DEFINITIVE remix of one of his best songs. Six minutes of pure club beats, and just... ANOTHER perfect walking song that you need to SCREAM at the top of your lungs. Also on my personal Playlist, John POV, that I will share eventually.... it makes sense in the song order on the list, I promise LOL)
Tee Lopes - Marble Zone '12 – Tee Lopes is the official composer for Sonic Mania, hired because of all his AMAZING Classic Sonic remixes he did as a hobby on his YouTube channel. This one has a Tango flavour, and it’s SO good and not long enough. There’s an extended version here. Also love his Flying Battery and Ice Cap remixes. If you love video game music remixes like I do, check out his YT channel. There’s a TONNE there and it’s GREAT music to write to.
Aaron Smith - Dancin’ (KRONO Remix) – I dunno where I first heard this one, but I LOVE it. It’s like trancey club music. It’s beautiful, and WORTH a listen.
Pet Shop Boys - I Wouldn't Normally Do This Kind Of Thing [Extended Nude Mix] – Ooooof this one has been on my faves for a LONG time. Originally heard this on the PSB’s album Disco 2, back when their remixes were this good and long and clubby. I miss these so much. If you want a good club beat to thump your car, this is it my friends.
Informätik - A Matter of Time – FUCK ME I love this song. This is the song that made me want to start a Johnlock playlist. I talk more in length about it on this post here, but yeah, I still just.. MM. It’s just so beautiful and is what got me into EBM music in the first place. I listened to this and a lot of their music quite often in college when I was pining over people. Always the pining and never the requited, LOL. I just really love it.
Pride and Fall - Paragon – GUYS. This one is SO good. Trancey EBM and just, UGHGGHHGHGHHHG It gives me so many feels. I’ve loved this song for SO many years, and just, still has to be on every iPod I own. It’s beautiful, and the lyrics are beautiful and I wish I was as beautiful as this song, LOL. Please listen and enjoy. Best bit is a 3:11 :D <3
Rammstein - Mein Teil (Pet Shop Boys Remix) – GUYS. This is one of the greatest collabs of all time. I love both Rammstein AND Pet Shop Boys, and was SO EXCITED when they remixed this song for the single. This is the better of the two remixes PSB did for them, and YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO IT. PURE CLUB BLISS. This is the PSB in their remixing best!!!! <3 Plus, it’s SUPER WEIRD to hear these angry Germans backing a club beat, I LOVE IT. Also, it’s literally a song about a true story of literally eating a dick, so.... *shrugs*
Pet Shop Boys - Love Etc. (PSB Mix) – Y’ALL. This is 6 minutes of LITERAL dance music BLISS. A fantastic remix of one of my fave songs from the PSB, which is essentially shitting on the materialism of relationships. And I love this one, it’s a great work out and car song. Honestly PLEASE listen to it.
Apoptygma Berzerk - Kathy’s Song (Beborn Beton Remix) – GUYYYYYYYYYsSSSS I love this song so much. The original is much slower, and I discovered Beborn Beton FROM this song (another great artist, check them out). This song is just, a great dance song, and just makes me scream out when I hear it. Full volume, beautiful song, beautiful lyrics. It’s my Android!lock headcanon song, but it is also on my JL Personal Playlist, LOL.
Darude vs. Robert Miles - Children of the Sandstorm – One of the BEST MASHUPS in the world, and I am CERTAIN it is an official one; I was obsessed with mashups when I was in college so I have a TONNE of them, but this one has always been a fave, and I still jam to it over a decade later. Seriously, these songs SEAMLESSLY blend together, it’s fantastic. Classic club and trance? HELLS YES.
Eminem - Nobody Listen to Techno (Deep Dish Mix) – Another nostalgia hit for me. Is it pointless? Not if I enjoy it!! I LOVE this song. Deep Dish mixes were THE JAM in my college years, and like, this is just 9 minutes of PURE techno with some of his song “Without Me” sampled throughout. I LOVE IT. SO MUCH. This is a banger, and just, if you need music to listen to while driving or writing, this is one for you!!
Rammstein feat. Sharleen Spiteri - Stirb Nicht Vor Mir (Don't Die Before I Do) – And to bring the mood WAYYY down, did you know Rammstein did a love song? A beautiful, moves-me-to-tears love song? Because I did and it’s one of my FAVE songs by them. It’s SO beautiful, and the Till’s harsh voice WORKS for it. It’s gentle and soothing. It’s a German/English duet, and it makes me nearly cry EVERY TIME. Because I imagine John and Sherlock and then I die inside LOL. It’s so beautiful and I listen to this one years after it was released. Look up the translation, it is so beautiful.
AND if you guys happen to like any of these songs, copy the youtube video link and use this :)
Most of these that aren’t silly are on my Johnlock playlist, so do give the latter songs a listen! <3 I’m sorry for adding more than five... I just really love sharing things with you guys I like because I’m so lonely, LOL.
If any of y’all are playing these and trying to pick me up, *finger guns* Let’s go get cake and jam :D
AHH I like when I get asks like this! Sorry I took so long Nonny, but I just kept ADDING to it, as you can see. Had to stop because I could keep going.

Survey #461
“this city looks so pretty, do you wanna burn it with me?”
Have you ever wanted a Nikon camera? Or do you have one already? My camera before the one I have now was a Nikon D3200. I use a Canon now. Who was the last person (if anyone) you said Happy Birthday to? A friend. Do you have Photoshop? If so, how often a day do you use it? I have it, but I barely use it nowadays. I use it to edit photos for character profiles or profile pictures, add a watermark for my actual photography, and I used to make Mark-oriented gifs like crazy. They mostly did really well, so... I might wanna get back into that and get That Sweet Validation. Do you watch any shows that you know your parents wouldn’t approve of? No. Have any of your exes gotten married or had kids since your breakup? None, I think. Do either of your parents have a mental illness? My mom has depression. Can you tolerate children for a long period of time? NO. Have you ever lived with someone you felt thoroughly uncomfortable around? No. Are you into dubstep? Yeah, I tend to enjoy it. Zelda or The Sims games? Can I pick neither? lol I don't feel very much at all for The Sims, and Zelda games have always looked... boring to me? Like I've watched most of the Game Grumps' playthroughs of all the games, and they make it hilarious of course, but the games themselves? Nah. Are you terrible at assigning bands their proper genre?
