My redesigns of the princesses minus Twilight lol. This was traced over a coloring page of the princesses but with my own flare!

I'm really happy with how they turned out! Celestia actually took the longest to redesign cuz I was struggling with her hair color. I really wanted to capture the "mother nature"-ness with the greens. Blue and gold is literally designed for Luna! Also she gotta have bat features cuz its cool😤And for Cadance I went for more warmer pinks while still keeping her recognizable. Look at the hearts in her horn!! 🥺🥺 Anyways hope yall enjoy these redesigns :D

Princess Cadence in the future

The Princess of Love is a very young Goddess, only a bit older than the mortal unicorn she took as her husband. Her domain is the romantic spark between ponies; her mane curling into mist that enhances those feelings and imbue them with magic. Under her influence, acts of love become power that spreads harmony and peace, keeping all sorts of evil (be they villainous plots or just bad weather) at bay.

As patrons of immaterial concepts ascend to godhood, the world changes to become richer and more complex. Entire new schools of magic are born; simple parts of life become divine.

Godhood is not without cost, however. Of course a being whose whole deal was love would fall into it. She may have tried not to, but a royal and their personal guard is a tale as old as time. Through times good and bad, the couple's love strengthened one another and fortified the land around them, even as the years wore on.

No goddess before had taken a spouse in a mortal. They watched over each other, giving comfort, inspiration, and magic. Together, they changed the old and heralded the new. They created something that had never been seen before

I thought it would be cool to give the sisters 6 wings/3 pairs of wings (biblically accurate alicorn) - as they're possibly born as them or just more ancient and powerfull idk

Then the alicorns made by them have only 4 wings/2 pairs

Well, then I changed the canon and now it's an au I guess:

Twilight became an alicorn at the time of the battle with Tirek when the princesses as a last resort gave her their power.

Celestia didn't want to make more alicorns (but she did consider it with Twilight, as she turned out to be quite amusing)

princess cadance :) i only just found out her name is spelled cadance not cadence. anyway!!!

i like her design as is so most of my changes were just giving her a slightly more pastel colour palette and also putting her hair up <3 i wanted to give the vibe that it’s done in a bridal style and also gave her a more subtle crown and headpiece because she seems really humble?? so i can’t see her wanting a big extravagant crown or anything :)
