Okay so I am working on an idea for a Descendants fic that is currently spiraling out of control and idk what to do sooooo I am going to ask ya’ll.

The basic idea is that when Adam was creating Auradon, he came to Elsa who declined Arendelle’s participation in the uniting. Soon after, Elsa finds herself protecting the Enchantress who has run to Arendelle for Sanctuary as both a perceived villain and because she has magic, which Adam is trying to purge from Auradon.

so these are the choices

Option 1: Write it set in the early days of Auradon. With The threat of war looming over them as Elsa refuses to turn over The Enchantress. The romance would be Elsa and the Enchantress and this would result in me writing another fic that would probably include option 2 or 3. This option is mostly just turning the war into something that happened many many years ago and would give it it’s own full length story

Option 2: Gil and Jay are on their epic post grad adventure and end up crossing into Arendelle, something they don’t realize is against the rules. Oops. We get the events of option 1 in general flashbacks (and maybe a novella) and Jay and Gil end up held as ‘prisoners’. would probably be Jay/the son of Elsa and The Enchantress (Who will get a name, I promise) and possibly Gil/kristanna daughter idk.

Option 3: Relations between Arendelle and Auradon have always been strained due to the events of option one but now that Ben is king and he’s tearing down the magical barrier between Auradon and The Isle and he’s welcoming both Villains and magic back to the land, it’s time to try and repair that relationship. The Frozen Family travels to Auradon to do just that (The events of option 1 would again be addressed in flashbacks and a possible Novella) and I’m not entirely clear on what the ships would be here- maybe the same. There would also be a threat that they have to come together to defeat (Although I could hold off on this idea and maybe use it for the next generation idea?)

I do still need to actually sit down and watch Frozen 2 so maybe most of these ideas wouldn’t work after the events of that movie who knows. anyway, as of this moment, what do ya’ll think?

I've seen a couple people saying they're jumping ship for [other big socmed] after the AI announcement here, but like. Guys. Friends. You do realize all the other sites have been silently working with big AI companies for a while now. Bluesky has not implemented any acknowledgement or protection, and the CEO worked with crypto for years. They're just not broadcasting it or giving you an option to help remove your work from automatic scraping. Cohost has implemented similar levels of prevention compared to Tumblr.

I greatly prefer the transparency and the tiny bit of protection, no matter how flimsy. Tumblr is pretty awful, but it's still better than everything else so far. Which sucks but until we burn down the plutocracy, this isn't gonna be escapable.

(Also, no Tumblr did not quietly sneak this in. They literally announced it before implementing.)

☼ seb & clora x elden ring ☼

SUPER self-indulgent thing i had to draw once i got the idea, bc i love FromSoftware and all their games (...& also bc i will never get tired of drawing clora like an ethereal lightbulb LOL 🔆) ↓ extra doodles and a lot of yapping below❗ ↓ (& elden ring DLC final boss spoilers)

their boss mechanics bc im a nerd LMAO🥰

if you target clora and kill her before seb, seb will be inflicted with madness/frenzy, and his stats will be raised for the remainder of the fight

with clora dead, seb will stop using holy/slash damage, and will instead use occult, madness/frenzied flame, and his own blood to inflict bleed damage

killing clora first makes the fight wayy harder, but also reaps much better rewards/a unique item (like the ornstein and smough boss fight in DS1)

if you kill seb first and don't finish off clora quickly enough, she'll just keep reviving him over and over (like the twin princes fight in DS3)

when you get seb down to like 10% health, he'll stop going on the offensive and will instead do everything he can to protect clora (while being visibly beaten up & limping😭kinda like sif in DS1)

this is the boss i re-skinned them as (promised consort radahn) bc i love this design...and even the lore makes sense bc the big guy (radahn) was brought back to life to serve miquella and fight for him (kinda like my seb and his horcrux👀) i also considered giving clora a halo similar to miquella's (but in the design of her hairclip) except i scrapped that bc i thought it looked weird LOL. i still like the idea tho so...just pretend its there LMAO🙂‍↕️🙏 ok im done 🗣️
