KİBLEBULMA - DEVASA+ (3)
Qibla direction holds a significant place in the Islamic faith, symbolizing the direction towards the Kaaba in the Sacred Mosque in Mecca, which is a focal point for Muslims around the world. The term "qibla" itself translates to 'direction' in Arabic, signifying the spiritual orientation that Muslims adopt during their prayers. To assist individuals in determining the qibla direction, various tools and methods have been developed, ranging from traditional compasses to modern technological solutions. One such method involves aligning a real compass with the direction of North to establish the correct qibla direction. Additionally, advancements in technology have led to the creation of Qibla finder apps and online platforms that offer accurate qibla direction information with just a few clicks.
The availability of tools like Qibla finder apps and online platforms has made it easier for Muslims to find the qibla direction with precision and convenience. These applications utilize GPS technology to determine the user's current location and provide the corresponding qibla direction, allowing individuals to perform their prayers with accuracy regardless of where they are in the world. Moreover, online Qibla Finders offer comprehensive databases that include the qibla angles of important cities and centers worldwide, enabling users to access this vital information swiftly and efficiently. By embracing these technological advancements, Muslims can fulfill their religious obligations with confidence and peace of mind, knowing they are facing the sacred Kaaba during their prayers.
Identifying the correct qibla direction is of utmost importance for Muslims when performing their daily prayers. The qibla finder as a focal point that unites Muslims globally in worship, emphasizing the unity and solidarity within the Islamic community. Ensuring that one faces the qibla during prayer is not only a physical alignment but also a symbolic connection to the center of the Islamic faith, fostering a sense of spiritual connection and devotion. By correctly identifying the qibla direction, individuals uphold a fundamental aspect of their faith and demonstrate reverence and obedience to Allah, enhancing the spiritual significance and efficacy of their prayers.

ATSV Fun Fact!! - Mumbattan Cultural Details
Gayatri & Inspector Singh follow the Sikh Religion
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/d866e7cb2e66e559c9bd69ef0850ecba/40fbc973b219dd7b-56/s400x600/271f2b8ddb4d045cbc5e0351037478bbc426a6bc.jpg)
Have you ever heard of Punjabi Sikhs?
If you don't know - Sikhism is a religion that originates in northern India, specifically Punjab.
The turban Gayatri's father wears - along with his last name 'Singh' implies that her father is most likely a Punjabi Sikh.
I notice this the first time watching ATSV and was like 'wow that's so cool :)'
It only hit me today that 'Oh wait I don't think a lot of people know about this very-specific, rarely-mentioned religion maybe i should say something,'
And because I LOVE yelling about world culture, LET'S GO!!!
[a SHORT essay where I explain the basics of Sikhism, a religion built on equality and justice. And details in The Singhs design, and exactly why Sikh Representation matters]
So What's Sikhism about?
Often mistaken for Muslims - Sikhs are actually a non-Abrahamic religion, with 20 million followers worldwide.
But even with so many visible practicing members, most people know very very little about this beautiful religion!
Sikhs believe in equality and unity - and defending the oppressed. Their book of faith, The Guru Granth Sahib Ji, is called 'Guru' for a reason - Sikhs see the book as not just a code of conduct, but as a living, breathing teacher for every practicioner;
From Wikipedia on Guru Granth Sahib: Sikhs since then [1708] have accepted the Guru Granth Sahib, the sacred scripture, as their eternal-living guru, as the embodiment of the ten Sikh Gurus, the highest religious and spiritual guide for Sikhs. It plays a central role in guiding the Sikh's way of life.
The Guru Granth Sahib is the spiritual leader of Sikhism, and it's treated as such.
That's why in Gurdwaras - their place of worship - it's treated as such, being clothed and held in ornate structure, constantly fanned throughout it's readings (the fan you can see in the left picture).
They believe that by following the Guru Granth Sahib Ji, they can cultivate compassion, peace, and harmony in their communities, while diminishing 'Mara' - concepts like hatred or violence.
Sikhs believe that every Sikh should revere themselves as champions of unity. And because of this many Sikhs have the same last name -
Kaur for women (Meaning Princess) and Singh for men (Meaning Lion).
Having the same last name also does away with the Indian caste system, making it another point of equality.
In ATSV Gayatri last name is Singh. However from my understanding, her name would most likely be Gayatri Kaur in reality.
I think they kept her last name as Singh as a deliberate choice to keep her initials as GS, like Gwen Stacy.
So is Gayatri Sikh?
Maybe - most likely.
But we can't be sure. Mainly because of her hair.
Gayatri has a short bob haircut, and while that might not seem like it matters, it does!
In Sikhism there are the '5K's - different aspects Sikhs wear to show their faith.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/266246b2884fb06a598c1495c9a5667e/40fbc973b219dd7b-fe/s540x810/ebedeed1569a5eb59cf35253757ca342f1efda96.jpg)
Notice the first one?
'Kesh' is the practice of leaving ones hair completely uncut. That's why you may see a lot of Sikh men with long, long beards!
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/52f267cc5e22edd6feba9fe14e098f6d/40fbc973b219dd7b-ff/s540x810/cd4dbb27789fab69d567f9f4154e8caa972ec386.jpg)
And hence, the large turbans.
It's done as respect for God's creation - leaving it unaltered.
[Fun Fact! - Rastafarians, a Jamaican religion, also don't cut their hair for this reason. Think Bob Marley. Rastas call God - Jah]
So, Gayatri having short hair means she doesn't keep Kesh.
However, Sikh is a super accepting and open religion, and it's main focus is on acceptance of difference, not conformity - so she could entirely follow the faith without doing all of any of the 5Ks.
Also, if you're curious about the steel sword K - Kirpan, yes that's a thing!
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/57c53d5be5e2c84949a669d565696a11/40fbc973b219dd7b-99/s540x810/161920f098b0b11edfd839d29bc24544a4dd8a5e.jpg)
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/7aee0fc968c05ea564070e0ce0933081/40fbc973b219dd7b-86/s400x600/dbc08a3d998839c01af2736fa10621d89028c281.webp)
Sikhs of all genders are encouraged to carry a small ceremonial blade with them.
Instead it's a symbol of the commitment to fighting for what's right - and defending those who cannot defend themselves.
A Kirpan can ONLY be used to defend the life of yourself or others, which is incredibly rare.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/ad7a480c1566fb2fb95a2e1b9afe3997/40fbc973b219dd7b-fa/s540x810/2925a4f4faea7d1fa6562a6fbf7e9500b708107f.jpg)
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/002f98f7600bcb43951922e72b39b2e0/40fbc973b219dd7b-12/s540x810/dda33dacfe1267c406a83fefb600bc81aa651cb8.jpg)
Why is this all so rad, cool, and important?
If you haven't noticed by now, Sikhism is a religion driven by justice. Not just in theory, but in really life as well.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/5e2fa8359c31855dadaccd58766c4924/40fbc973b219dd7b-d5/s540x810/4d1f752cf1bf881c220695b7040a7bc6a968e0e9.jpg)
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/d42f0595e3cefc63d550e499d9c6b4ab/40fbc973b219dd7b-94/s540x810/5c0b81d5a231e2eaedfa4a05f1be6c772b32ef7f.jpg)
That's why you may see many Sikh police officers and politicians, even here in the West. Most of them wearing the emblem on their turbans.
In fact, Canada has SO MANY Sikh politicians, that in 2019 they elected 18 of them.
For centuries Sikhs have been dedicated to justice, and developing systems of support, whether that be political involvement or feeding those in need.
The biggest Gurdwara (a place of Sikh worship) The Golden Temple feeds over 100,000 people A DAY.
For FREE.
It's a practice called Langar. A communal meal anyone can enjoy. And of course, Langar food is vegetarian.
Making Inspector Singh a Sikh - and showing him saving people and being warm to his daughter on screen is great representation for a community so often overlooked! Despite the fact they are over 20 million practicing Sikhs.
It's a great detail for Indian and Punjabi representation in specific. It accurate shows their beliefs and commitment towards helping others, no matter the cost.
And from what we can tell, this choice came later in development. We know this because ALL of his concept art shows him with a turban, not keeping Kesh.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/dd9c38c5c32238fa86c4c434f69769e3/40fbc973b219dd7b-6f/s540x810/a2e4ec555b464a723ae8118acc78c51c653150d1.jpg)
It seems like someone later on down the line said 'Wait if his name is Singh I think he's Sikh and if he's Sikh then we're gonna have to redesign him and make that obvious oops'.
That, dear audience, is why you always have an Anthropologist in the writing room. Or some amateur anthropologist like me :)

I hope you enjoyed reading this, I really enjoyed writing it!! Sikhism is one of my favorite religions and if you have never heard anything from the Guru Granth Sahib I HIGHLY recommend it, it's very optimistic and compassionate. Sikhnet(.)com is also a great resource!
I have no idea if this will pique anyone's interest, but I hardly ever see Sikhs reflected in media and I know many many people may confuse them with Muslim, especially since many women Sikhs keep kesh and cover their hair as well.
But if you ever wanted to know the difference, here it is! If you read this far, thank you SO MUCH. And if you're a Sikh and reading this, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH.
As usual, here's a photo of Hobie for your travels.
BYE.

are hamsas a jewish thing? i see them all over jewish sites and in synagogues but i also see gentiles using/wearing them???
Short answer: Yes, hamsas are a Jewish thing, but they're not exclusively Jewish.
An open palm as a symbol is seen throughout the Middle East, and it is given many names and meanings. There is no consensus as to the origin of the symbol, but considering hand prints are seen even in paleolithic art all across the world, it wouldn't be that hard to see how a hand could become such an important symbol.
In Judaism, hands are often featured in artwork as the two hands of the Kohanim during the Priestly Blessing and as references to God's mighty hand when freeing the Jews from Egypt. Hamsas have been used as Jewish amulets since at least the Middle Ages, and there's evidence of hand symbology being used even earlier. The belief in Ayin Hara (The Evil Eye), which is often tied to Hamsas, is also a very old Jewish belief. It, too, is not an exclusively Jewish belief, but rather a belief common among Middle Eastern and Meditteranean cultures.
Not all Jews use the Hamsa as a symbol, and indeed many frown on it, seeing it as a superstition that is best not touched. However, it has been used for a long time by Sephardi and Mizrachi Jews, as well as more Kabbalistic Ashkenazi Jews.
Because of its appearence in both Jewish and Muslim cultures, the hamsa has become a symbol of Judeo-Islamic unity by some people. In 2009, the Hamsa Flag was envisioned as the flag of a united Israeli-Palestinian state.
In conclusion,
RATING: JEWISH (BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY)

hunting Jews: the truth about Hamas
SEPTEMBER 15, 2024
Islam is a religion.
Islamism is a political ideology.
Recently rescued Israeli hostage, Qaid Farhan Alkadi, an Israeli Bedouin Muslim, gave the following testimony:
Farhan’s testimony, along with a plethora of other evidence, only makes what we’ve been saying all along abundantly clear: Hamas is not a “resistance” group against oppression. Hamas is a genocidal antisemitic terrorist group that targets Jews.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/1b9e059aa31c649f69ebd70526b5d4a3/e9b1b4dc9a662c2e-ae/s400x600/ab156a9c152819e36eba321888369cd72dbe9327.webp)
ISLAMISM IS AN INHERENTLY ANTISEMITIC IDEOLOGY
Hamas is an Islamist terrorist group. What does this mean?
Islamists believe that the doctrines of Islam should be congruent with those of the state. Islamists work to implement nation-states governed under Islamic Law (Sharia), emphasize pan-Islamic unity (in most cases, hoping for an eventual worldwide Islamic Caliphate, or empire), support the creation of Islamic theocracies, and reject all non-Muslim influences. For this reason, Islamists tend to portray themselves as “anti-imperialist,” while in truth they are striving to swap western imperialism with Islamic imperialism.
Islamist ideology can be traced back to Hassan al-Banna and the Muslim Brotherhood, founded in 1928. Al-Banna viewed the 1924 dissolution of the last Islamic Caliphate, the Ottoman Empire, and the European colonization of the Middle East, beginning with France’s 1830 occupation of Algeria, as an affront to Islam. The early 20th century was a period of rapid secularization in the Middle East, when Arab nationalism threatened to replace pan-Islamic identity with a pan-Arab identity. Al-Banna opposed all of this, hoping to return to “authentic” Islamic practice through the (re)establishment of the Islamic Caliphate.
Islamism is an antisemitic ideology. Islamists hate Jews -- and by extension, the Jewish state -- because of the Prophet Muhammad’s conflict with the Jewish tribes of the Arabian Peninsula in the 7th century. Islamistsbelieve that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is rooted in a struggle between Muslims and their “eternal enemies,” the Jews.
Hassan Al-Banna, the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, viewed the dissolution of the last Islamic Caliphate (empire) and the secularization of the Muslim world as an affront to Islam.
ISLAMISM, DHIMMITUDE, AND THE JEWS
Islamists seek to revive “authentic Islamic practice,” by which they mean, essentially, that they wish to go back in time. This desire to turn back the clock puts them in conflict with Jews for two reasons:
During his earliest conquests, the Prophet Muhammad and his army came into fierce conflict with a number of Jewish tribes that had settled in Arabia, some of which had refused to convert to Islam and even accused Muhammad and his followers of appropriating figures from the Torah. For Islamists, this initial conflict between Jews and the earliest Muslims is “proof” that Jews are “eternal enemies” of Islam.
Following Muhammad’s death in 632, the Arab Islamic empires conquered lands exponentially quickly. As a result of this rapid colonization, the Muslim authorities were faced with the “problem” of how to handle the conquered Indigenous peoples that resisted conversion to Islam. This “problem” was solved with a treaty known as the Pact of Umar. This so-called treaty allowed select religious and cultural minorities, known as dhimmis, or “People of the Book,” to practice their beliefs so long as they paid the “jizya” tax and abided by a set of restrictive, second-class citizenship laws.
Under Islamist regimes, such as the Islamic Republic of Iran, Jews are, to this day, still treated as dhimmis.
THE GENOCIDAL ANTISEMITISM OF THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD
Hamas emerged as the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood. Hassan al-Banna, the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, worshipped Adolf Hitler.
Like Hitler, al-Banna sought to exterminate all Jews…in his case, from the Middle East.
According to German documents from the period, in the 1940s, the Nazis trained some 700 members of the Muslim Brotherhood. Nazi Germany heavily funded the Brotherhood, which contributed to its massive growth. In 1938, the Brotherhood had some 800 members. By the end of World War II, it had grown to a million members.
In 1939, Germany “transferred to al-Banna some E£1000 per month, a substantial sum at the time. In comparison, the Muslim Brotherhood fundraising for the cause of Palestine yielded E£500 for that entire year.”
Naturally, Nazism deeply influenced the Muslim Brotherhood’s ideology.
The father of Palestinian nationalism, Haj Amin al-Husseini, was a prominent member of the Muslim Brotherhood. Yasser Arafat, the most influential Palestinian leader of all time, began his “career” fighting for the Muslim Brotherhood. Which brings us to Hamas. Hamas’s founder, Sheikh Ahmed Ismail Hassan Yassin, was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood and was responsible for establishing the Brotherhood’s Palestinian branch. In 1987, he founded Hamas.
The Muslim Brotherhood’s hatred for Jews goes far beyond its original Nazi affiliations. During the 1936-1939 Arab Revolt in Mandatory Palestine, during which Palestinian Arabs revolted against Jewish immigration and carried out a number of antisemitic massacres, the Muslim Brotherhood began disseminating antisemitic rhetoric, often targeting the Egyptian Jewish community.
Al-Nadhir, the Muslim Brotherhood’s magazine, published openly antisemitic articles, peddling conspiracy theories and demonizing the Egyptian Jewish community for its success in various industries. Notably, Al-Nadhir even called for the expulsion of Jews from Egypt, accusing Jews of “corrupting” Egypt and calling Jews a “societal cancer.” Al-Nadhir made boycott lists of Jewish businesses.
Unfortunately, the Muslim Brotherhood’s antisemitism is not a relic of the past. Mohammed Badie, the Muslim Brotherhood’s present day “Supreme Guide,” believes Jews “spread corruption on earth” and calls for “holy jihad” as an antidote.

THE ORIGINAL HAMAS CHARTER: EXPLICITLY GENOCIDAL
Hamas’s founding 1988 charter is explicitly antisemitic and genocidal. Below are some excerpts:
“Our struggle against the Jews is very great and very serious.” -- Introduction
“The Day of Judgement will not come about until Moslems fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Moslems, O Abdulla, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him. Only the Gharkad tree, (evidently a certain kind of tree) would not do that because it is one of the trees of the Jews." -- Article 7
“In face of the Jews' usurpation of Palestine, it is compulsory that the banner of Jihad be raised.” -- Aritcle 15
“With their money, they took control of the world media, news agencies, the press, publishing houses, broadcasting stations, and others. With their money they stirred revolutions in various parts of the world with the purpose of achieving their interests and reaping the fruit therein. They were behind the French Revolution, the Communist revolution and most of the revolutions we heard and hear about, here and there. With their money they formed secret societies, such as Freemasons, Rotary Clubs, the Lions and others in different parts of the world for the purpose of sabotaging societies and achieving Zionist interests. With their money they were able to control imperialistic countries and instigate them to colonize many countries in order to enable them to exploit their resources and spread corruption there.” -- Article 22
“Israel, Judaism and Jews challenge Islam and the Moslem people.” -- Article 28
BUT...HAMAS CHANGED THEIR CHARTER!
Some Hamas apologists will tell you that Hamas no longer intends to exterminate all Jews, because in 2017, they “replaced their [openly genocidal] charter.” Well, lucky for you, Hamas is here to set the record straight. See, after releasing their “new” charter, Hamas co-founder Mahmoud al-Zahar assured the media that the 2017 document did not replace their original 1988 charter.
The 2017 document was thus not a “new” charter from a “reformed” Hamas, but rather, a propaganda document aimed at redeeming Hamas’s image to the west.
Since 2017, Hamas has made openly genocidal calls toward Jews. For example:
In 2018, Hamas’s Al-Aqsa TV media channel predicted “the cleansing of Palestine of the filth of the Jews.”
In 2019, Hamas Political Bureau member Fathi Hammad said, “You seven million Palestinians abroad, enough warming up! There are Jews everywhere! We must attack every Jew on planet Earth –- we must slaughter and kill them, with Allah’s help.” In 2021, Hammad called, via Al-Aqsa TV, for the Palestinians in Jerusalem to “cut off the heads of the Jews.”
In May of 2021, the leader of Hamas, Yahya Sinwar, led a rally in which the crowd was encouraged to chant, "We will trample on the heads of the Jews in front of everyone..."
ISLAMIST INFLUENCE ON PALESTINIAN NATIONALISM
The earliest Arab nationalists in Palestine were not necessarily Islamists. Falastin, an influential anti-Zionist, Arab nationalist newspaper, was founded by two Palestinian Christians in 1911. Khalil Beidas, who was the first Arab to identify as Palestinian, in 1898, was a Christian. Nevertheless, the Palestinian nationalist movement soon fell under the influence of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Initially, Palestinian Arab nationalists advocated for a unified Arab state in Greater Syria. In 1920, Haj Amin al-Husseini began advocating for an independent Palestinian Arab state. To draw people to his cause, which was not yet well-known to the average population, he began emphasizing the importance of Palestine to Islam, and particularly the importance of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque. Soon, he began disseminating the libel that the Jews intended to destroy Al-Aqsa Mosque. This libel has cost thousands of Jewish lives and is spread widely to this day.
Early on, the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt adopted the Palestinian cause. After World War II, Haj Amin al-Husseini, who had spent the war working as a propagandist for the Nazis in Berlin, escaped to Egypt with the help of the Muslim Brotherhood.
The Muslim Brotherhood fought against the State of Israel in 1948, along with other Islamist militias, such as the Army of the Holy War. Among its fighters were Yasser Arafat. In the 1960s, Arafat came under the influence of the Soviet Union and shifted his image to that of a communist counterrevolutionary, as opposed to an Islamist, though his rhetoric in Arabic continued emphasizing the importance of jihad and Al-Aqsa Mosque to the Palestinian movement. Nevertheless, after Islamic Revolution in Iran, after which the Islamic Republic adopted the Palestinian movement, and with the establishment of Hamas and groups such as Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Palestinian nationalism has once again been undergone an Islamization.

as always: this post is not an endorsement of any given Israeli policy or politician. You can be highly critical of Israel’s handling of the situation without obfuscating or whitewashing the origins and goals of this ideology. It always, always came down to antisemitism. I won’t engage with straw man arguments in the comments 😗

I do find it politically and ideologically interesting that Liberals/Globalists want to destroy America just like the Muslims do.
Before you lecture me on “radical” and “non radicalized” Muslims, you should know there’s a part of the Quran that allows for lying to your enemies to gain their confidence. Whether or not the non-violent Muslims want to destroy all non-Muslims, their man-made religion/culture (that they follow) wants to destroy everyone who’s not a Muslim.
With it laid out like this, I see how Globalists believe the same things as Muslims.
Why would they come here? Why wouldn’t Globalists leave? They’d rather ruin the country for themselves, which also helps their Muslim brothers in the New World Order. When the DC Swamp “fights” the Muslims, they’re really just exchanging funds and perpetuating war and profits. Those bullets are made at a Bush ammo plant where they sell to anyone, not just the USA.
The Biden regime sends money to Israel to help build and maintain their Iron (Intelligence) Dome. They send “Humanitarian Aid (Foreign Aid) to Muslim countries, and the Bush/NWO ammo plant sells products to everyone.

I don’t care what you’ve named your ideology, if you’re seeking my death or my country’s death, you are my enemy.
Doesn’t matter if you’re an American Globalist or anyone else? If you seek my end, and my family’s end, we are enemies. What else do you think “Death to America” (tax citizens into prisoners, open borders, favor illegals over citizens, Big Pharma poisoning us all, Epstein/Diddy/Hefner) means? Death to your father and mother and Death to your children isn’t a campfire singalong outside of the DC Swamp and their allies home countries.
Unfortunately for them, Trump won and puts a potential final nail in the NWO plans.

We don’t want a BIG Government that thrives at the expense of the people, and that’s what we’re expecting Trump and the Unity Ticket to deliver.
Drain the swamp. Restore the Republic.

I was at Sirte, Libya in September and October of 2011, with my family, during the NATO siege. NATO was bombing from sea, air, and the thuggish Takfiri rats and curs bombing from east and west on the ground.
I can still remember everything like it was yesterday.
I remember all the men, women and children who fell in the defence of Sirte.
There was no electricity, little food, no cameras, no broadcasting to what was happening as there is today in Gaza to have showed NATOs war crimes to the world, we were literally cut off from the world.
NATO had bombed Sirte's Local Radio Station, the last place we could hear Brother Leader Mu'ammar al-Qathafi's beautiful defiant voice.
It was just us and our great defiant leader, and our morale had never waned for a moment with his reassuring company.
He was there, with us, to calm the pain and the feelings of frustration and treason from the reactionary Arab governments and our sleeping Ummah.
I have never spoken about this part of my life before and what we, the people of Sirte had to endure at that time, but today as I worringly watch on what is unfolding in Syria, it is poignantly coming back to me, I do not want the same to happen to beloved Syria, and for the Syrians to go through what we went through.
I was raised in a Socialist Jamahiriya, where we were unitary, our streets were beautifully adorned with unitary Arab poem lines, we chanted Arab unity slogans as early as we could learn to speak. I had always held Syria in a very high regard, for what Syria historically represents for the Arabs and Muslims.
Although everything is still cloudy, but if Syria falls, it would be the greatest calamity of our times. Syria is going to be divided up as Brother Leader Qathafi predicted more than 30 years ago.
'Arab existence in that area will be finished if Syria falls.' he said.
It is a tragedy what we are witnessing.
O' Damascus, the Umayyad flower, sweet basil of my heart, may you never witness a scintilla of pain or destruction, I pray that God takes away good days from me and gives it to Damascus and Syria. May we suffer, and may Damascus never see evil.
O Damascus, may I grow old, and you be forever young.
I wish I could bear my soul in my palm, and hurl it into the pit of death for you.
Forgive me Damascus, forgive us, we are sorry, the two Colonels are dead, Abdel Nasser and Gaddafi.

Celebrating Ramadan With Ace and Deuce
Platonic Ace x muslim!fem!reader x Deuce
Masterlist
First of all these boys would be so accommodating with you if you’re a muslim
They’d try to learn as much as they could about your religion either from you or asking a few Scarabian students.
They’d even ask the Scarabian students for things like lunar calendars or tasbihs or travelling prayer mats in case you need one
They do their best to make sure you’re comfortable if you’re the type that has issues being too close with the opposite gender, always making sure to keep a respectable distance between you and ensuring that the rest of the student body do the same
If you want to pray, they’d just wordlessly use their bags as your sutrah and basically be your bodyguards until you’re done
Also, for the hijabi girlies, they’d be so respectful. If your hair starts to show they’d avert their eyes quicker than you could blink and inform you. If anyone bothers you or looks at you in a way that you’re not comfortable with, they’d be decked onto the floor in a flash.
You bet they would have a few spare hijab pins or carry an extra shawl in case of emergencies
Anyway, back to Ramadan
So when you tell them about fasting, they’d first get all shocked. Poor Deuce is besides himself thinking that you’ll be starving yourself for a whole month before you elaborate on how it’s just from sunrise to sunset and then explain the spiritual significance for it.
Not going to lie, these guys are so the type to be like “you can’t even drink water?? 🙃”
They’re both super proud of you and are just in constant awe of your strength
I feel like they’d want to do it with you as a show of unity, and to help you with your homesickness, but since they’re both athletes (especially with Deuce being in such a high stamina/adrenaline sport like Track and Field), you suggest that they start with half fasts to ease themselves into it
(also props to everyone that still works out during fasting hours - you’re all incredible and absolute superheroes. My mum goes to the gym practically every morning and I’m still amazed every time.)
Also, when you’re doing your make up fasts to compensate for the ones you missed due to mother nature, you bet they’ll be right by your side fasting with you
I bet Deuce would feel genuinely offended if someone ate in front of you. Like he’d just stare at someone as if they’re smuggling contraband instead of just munching on their sandwich.
They make sure to do as much as you can so you could rest as much as possible. They set the table for iftar and suhoor (they even get up before you and wake you up), and do the cleaning up whilst you go to pray
Food usually comes from Sam’s shop or Trey (I don’t remember how they were during the culinary crucible but I really wouldn’t want those two in my kitchen before iftar whilst I’m fasting)
They’re always carrying your bag/things and practically never leave your side. Ramshackle is practically their second home at this point.
They love to learn more about your practices, especially traditions that you would do back home and you feel so loved to share that with them. You even teach them arabic (which ends with you getting a stern talking to from Jamil when Ace practices your lessons during basketball club)
Having a henna night with them would be so fun, just listening to nasheeds as you apply henna to both yourself and your best friends (who would take it so seriously and make such a noticeable effort to stay completely still until it dries and it’s both endearing and hilarious)
Okay but one time my sister fell asleep on her hand with henna on it and she woke up the next morning with a faded orange matching pattern on her cheek and that totally happens to Ace
They would totally (with Scarabia’s help) decorate Ramshackle with lights and lanterns to make it all festive
Just the two of them acting as your family in this strange new world 💛

In this dunyah everyone of us has his own concerns, from those mundane to those of the akhirah, those who chose the dunyah may be safer, they may deal less with separation and the pain of departure, but wallah the brotherhood and the bond between muslims upon this path is indescribable, and the relationship we have with our Lord is like that of a companion with his dearest companion, regardless of the constant plots of the kuffar to scatter this unity, a bond and a knot tied by Allah cannot be untied by any of his creation. Alhamdulillah!
Wallah the path is hard, each one of us deals with problems that make him think he’s the most tested amongst his peers yet we wouldn’t trade this suffering for the fake enjoyment of the dunyah ever.
And wallah the day we chose this path we weren’t ignorant of the hardships on it, nor were we ignorant of our weakness as vulnerable humans, but we knew that anyone who took a path searching for His lord’s pleasure will never be left disappointed.
Oh Allah, we expect and hope the best from You, -Oh One whose pleasure is dearer to us than this dunyah and what is in it, and one who is greater than our pains and worries- so bless us until our hearts are satisfied, do not make the dunyah our main worry, and remain always in our company, even if the world and those in it forsake us.
ليتك تحلو والحياة مريرة
وليتك ترضى والأنام غضابُ
I wish You’d be pleased, even if life remains bitter,
And I wish You’d be content, even if all others are angered.
وليت الذي بيني وبينك عامر
وبيني وبين العالمين خرابُ
I wish the bond between You and me is flourishing,
And the bond between me and the world is in ruins.
إذا صح منك الود فالكل هين
وكل الذي فوق التراب ترابُ
If Your love is true, all else becomes trivial,
For everything upon this earth is mere dust

Islamist land claims pertaining to Palestine (by which they infer all of Eretz Yisrael - the land of Israel) are, unfortunately, based on false allegations of illegitimate colonialist actions by the Jewish people of the area. The Jews have, it is claimed, usurped the rights of Muslim Palestinians to their historical land. These allegations, however, are merely a façade for covering the true motives of jihadist Islamists who control the public narrative.
The less-than-elevating background to the "Palestinian movement" was exposed by leading Harvard Law School Professor Alan M. Dershowitz in his June 2024 article on the notion of Palestinianism. He explained that the dispute over land has escalated in recent times from "a resolvable conflict over land to an irresolvable conflict over religion." The true nature of the conflict is thus one of religion.
The late senior PLO official Zuheir Mohsen even openly admitted in the Dutch daily Trouw in 1977 that the Palestinian cause is actually, well, fake:
"The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct "Palestinian people" to oppose Zionism. Yes, the existence of a separate Palestinian identity exists only for tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa, while as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan." — Zuheir Mohsen to James Dorsey, "Wij zijn alleen Palestijn om politieke reden", Trouw, March 31, 1977.
Palestinianism has nevertheless accelerated on the world stage through an intersection of Western ideologies based on the neo-Marxist premise that if someone succeeds, it can only have happened because they have oppressed someone else. A situation of win-win capitalism -- with unions protecting workers, and profit-sharing plans and investments that share the opportunity so that if an enterprise is successful, all the investors win (and if it is not, they all share the risk and lose) -- does not occur to them. For the Marxists, there must always be an oppressor and an oppressed.
Recent ideologies have related, for instance, to critical race and sex-gender constructs; allegations of settler-colonialist conflicts -- one in particular referred to as Zionism, whereby the purportedly rightful landowners (Muslims) are displaced by Jews, even though Jews have also lived on the land continuously for nearly 4,000 years. Human rights violations are supposedly committed only by Israel, whether in war or peace.
Some leaders of Western nations are complicit, whether by commission or omission, in encouraging or tolerating Palestinianism, notwithstanding countless violent crimes committed in the name of the "Palestinian cause" by jihadists and their supporters. Nations that blame only Israel include Ireland, Norway, Spain, France, Netherlands, Germany, USA, Canada and UK.
Eli Wiesel, during his Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech, reminded the world that, "We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented."
Most Western leaders fail to counter jihadist attacks, jihadist sexual grooming and mass rape of children, violence against women, stabbings, vehicular ramming and other sociopathic behavior. They apparently want every vote.

Bound by moonlight
I had this idea last night so decided to write it. I'm not sure if this will become more part series or just a little cute short story so let me know if you maybe want me to continue it! Hope you enjoy!
The full moon holds significance across countless cultures. In Chinese traditions, it symbolizes family unity and yin energy. To Hindus, the full moon is sacred, a celestial witness to rituals like Guru Purnima, honouring those who illuminate the path to wisdom. The Japanese gaze at the autumn moon as a poignant emblem of impermanence. For Muslims, it marks the heart of the lunar month. And for the Celts and pagans, the full moon brims with ancient power, a beacon for magic and spiritual awakening.
The poets and artists of the ages have romanticized its silver glow, spinning it into a symbol of love, mystery, and longing.
But for Nicolette, the full moon was neither sacred nor beautiful.
It was chaos.
Each month, the moon’s rise heralded her undoing. Beneath its unyielding gaze, her body would break, shift, and reform into a creature of instinct. A wolf born of rage and primal energy. And though her senses sharpened, her mind became a blank canvas, void of reason, void of memory.
What she did in those dark hours—those fleeting moments when she surrendered to her wolf—was a mystery. It was her blessing, perhaps, that she never remembered.
But it was also her curse.
Because each morning, she awoke to the aftermath: torn clothes, muddy footprints, and whispers of terror she could not trace. And so, the full moon wasn’t poetry to her, it was a thief, stealing her control, her sanity, and the fragile peace she clung to.
And tonight, as the moon climbed higher into the midnight sky, Nicolette felt it again—the pull, the promise, and the curse.
She had been trapped in this endless cycle ever since that night.
It had started so innocently, a joyful evening meant to celebrate a milestone in her life. She’d finally earned her driver’s license, and her parents couldn’t have been prouder. They decided on dinner to mark the occasion. She couldn’t even recall whose idea it was to order some wine, the casual suggestion that, since she could drive now, they could indulge just a little and she could drive them home. It wasn't like she was old enough to drink anyway.
But what seemed like a harmless decision turned out to be fatal.
The memory had grown hazy over the years, softened around the edges like a photograph left too long in the sun. She could barely piece it together now—the blinding lights of the oncoming car, the screeching metal, the jarring pain that stole her breath. Then the sterile, suffocating smell of the hospital. The rhythmic beeping of machines punctuating the silence of her grief.
And finally, the words. The ones that shattered what little remained of her world. You survived. They didn’t.
The pain of their loss had been unbearable, a wound that time refused to heal. But worse still was what came after.
When she first turned, she had no idea what was happening. She thought the grief and guilt had finally consumed her mind. The agony of the transformation had been unlike anything she’d ever experienced. Her body twisting and breaking, muscles contorting as something ancient and primal clawed its way to the surface.
She woke naked and trembling in the middle of the woods, her skin streaked with dirt and blood. The confusion had been bad enough. The horror came later, when she heard the news: a group of tourists had been slaughtered in the forest that night. Torn apart by some wild animal.
It didn’t take long for her to connect the pieces.
She was sixteen then—just a child, really. A child who had to learn, alone and terrified, what she had become.
Now, at twenty-three, Nicolette had learned how to survive. She knew how to chain herself up when the full moon rose, how to isolate herself far from civilization. She understood the curse that coursed through her veins.
But that didn’t mean she’d accepted it.
The full moon still terrified her. It always would.
And tonight, as it began its slow ascent into the night sky, she felt the familiar dread settle into her chest. The ache of anticipation, the promise of pain.
She hated it. Hated the moon, hated herself. Hated the monster she became when its light consumed her.
But no amount of hatred could change the truth. The moon didn’t care.
Klaus was at the Mikaelson manor, seated in the dim glow of the living room, a glass of bourbon cradled lazily in his hand. The firelight flickered across his sharp features, casting shadows that danced with an almost menacing rhythm. He stared into the flames, his expression a familiar mix of brooding and defiance. For Klaus Mikaelson, self-pity was as much a pastime as it was an art form.
He swirled the amber liquid in his glass, debating whether he should pour another, knowing full well he would. But just as his hand moved toward the decanter, a faint sound disrupted the silence.
A scratching at the front door.
His brow furrowed, the irritation immediate. Who in bloody hell dares disturb me at this hour? he thought, rising from his chair with an air of both annoyance and intrigue. His steps were slow, deliberate, as he approached the door. Whoever or whatever was foolish enough to trespass on his doorstep was about to be sorely reminded why the Mikaelson name inspired fear.
He leaned closer, peering through the peephole.
What he saw gave him pause.
A wolf. But not just any wolf.
This creature was larger than any ordinary wolf, its powerful frame illuminated faintly by the moonlight. That alone was enough to spark suspicion—Klaus knew the difference between a wild animal and one cursed by the moon. It had to be a werewolf.
But what werewolf would dare show up at his front door?
Its fur was a pristine white, almost glowing against the darkness, and its eyes… pale blue, piercing, as if they could see through him. A flicker of recognition stirred in Klaus’s chest, though he couldn’t explain why. What unsettled him most was the way it stood there, perfectly still, its gaze unyielding.
He couldn’t see its eyes clearly from the peephole, yet somehow, inexplicably, he felt as though the wolf was staring right back at him.
His instincts screamed caution. Logic dictated he should turn away, that this was some foolish trap, some scheme to provoke him.
But curiosity, that old, dangerous friend of his, had other plans.
Against his better judgment, Klaus opened the door.
The wolf didn’t flinch. It merely stood there, its gaze locked on his, as though waiting for something. A challenge, perhaps. Or an invitation.
Klaus stepped forward, his movements deliberate but not without caution. He knelt slowly, his gaze never leaving the wolf’s. He hadn’t survived centuries of betrayal by being careless, but there was something in those pale blue eyes that stilled his wariness.
Tentatively, he reached out. His fingers brushed its fur, and he was startled by the sensation. It was soft. Softer than he’d imagined. Like silk.
For a moment, he simply stayed there, kneeling before the creature, his hand resting on its fur. It didn’t move. It didn’t snarl or growl. It only watched him with those unyielding eyes.
"Who are you?" Klaus mumbled, his voice low and hesitant.
The wolf tilted its head at his words, its pale blue eyes unblinking as it continued to watch him. Klaus exhaled sharply, shaking his head at himself. As if it’s going to answer, he thought, a dry smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth.
"Right," he muttered under his breath, his hand absently stroking the soft fur between the wolf’s ears. It was strange, absurd really, but oddly soothing. "Are you hurt?" he asked, tilting his head as if searching for signs of injury.
The wolf didn’t flinch, didn’t even whimper. If anything, it seemed… calm. Far too calm, considering it was in the presence of the infamous Klaus Mikaelson.
He should have been suspicious. Any other time, he would have been suspicious. But tonight? For reasons he couldn’t quite name, his usually hypervigilant mind remained uncharacteristically quiet.
"Do you maybe want some water? Something to eat?" Klaus asked, his voice softening in a way that surprised even him.
The wolf gave no response—just that same steady, unyielding gaze.
"Very well," he sighed, pulling his hand back and rising to his feet. He gestured toward the doorway. "Come on in."
To his surprise, and mild amusement, the wolf actually obeyed, padding into the house without hesitation. Its movements were graceful, deliberate, and eerily quiet, like a predator who knew its strength and had no need to flaunt it.
Klaus led the way to the kitchen, his mind racing with questions even as his hands moved on autopilot. He grabbed a bowl and filled it with water, then retrieved some raw meat from the fridge, placing it neatly into another dish.
Setting both bowls down on the floor, he glanced back at the wolf, who had followed him and now stood watching him intently, as though waiting for something.
"You know," Klaus said, a dry chuckle escaping him as he straightened up, "I usually don’t let my guests eat on the floor, but…" He trailed off, shaking his head.
The wolf didn’t seem to mind. It leaned down and began eating, its movements as composed as they were deliberate.
Klaus crossed his arms, leaning casually against the counter as he observed the strange scene before him.
"I must be losing my mind," he muttered, running a hand through his hair. "Why am I talking to you? And, more importantly, why in bloody hell did I invite you inside and serve you dinner?"
The wolf, naturally, didn’t respond. It simply kept eating, its pale blue eyes flicking up to meet his now and then, as if it understood every word.
And for reasons Klaus couldn’t explain, the wolf’s silent gaze didn’t unnerve him. If anything, it intrigued him.
When the wolf finished eating, it let out a wide, lazy yawn, its jaw stretching in a way that made Klaus smirk.
"Oh, so now you're tired, are you?" he said, his tone laced with amusement. The sheer absurdity of the situation wasn’t lost on him, but for reasons he couldn’t explain, he didn’t mind it.
The wolf padded over to him, its movements unhurried, and nudged his hand with its snoot. Klaus chuckled at the gesture, shaking his head as his fingers instinctively reached out to rub behind its ear.
"You know," he began, his voice softening, "you’re quite adorable, little wolf. Not exactly a word I throw around often, but there it is."
The wolf tilted its head again, that curious expression making Klaus laugh under his breath.
"Are you tired?" he asked, his fingers brushing the fur along its jawline. "Do you want to sleep?"
In response, the wolf licked his hand, its warm, wet tongue startling him just enough to make him laugh again.
"Well, aren’t you full of surprises," Klaus mused, rising to his feet. He gestured toward the living room. "Come on, then."
The wolf followed him obediently, its steps silent against the hardwood floors. Klaus sank onto the couch, stretching one arm along the backrest, and patted the cushion beside him.
"Here," he said, his voice almost teasing. "A royal invitation, no less."
To his continued astonishment, the wolf leapt up onto the couch with the ease of a cat, settling beside him. It turned its head to study him, then glanced at the blanket draped over the armrest.
Klaus raised a brow, watching as the wolf gently bit down on the blanket and tossed it into his lap.
"Oh, now you want me to cover you, do you?" he asked, a bemused smirk tugging at his lips.
The wolf nudged him again with its snoot, an unmistakable hurry up gesture.
Klaus couldn’t help but chuckle. "You really are an unusual wolf, I’ll give you that."
He picked up the blanket, careful not to make it seem like he was trapping the creature, and laid it over the wolf’s body. As if on cue, the wolf shifted, curling up against him and resting its head in his lap.
"Comfortable, are we?" Klaus asked, his voice softer now, as if speaking too loudly might shatter the strange peace that had settled over the room.
The wolf closed its eyes, its breathing slowing as Klaus’s hand drifted to its back. He stroked the silky fur absentmindedly, his own tension easing with every rhythmic movement.
The fire crackled softly in the hearth, the room bathed in warm light. For the first time in what felt like years, Klaus Mikaelson didn’t feel alone.
And as the wolf’s breathing evened out, its chest rising and falling steadily, Klaus found himself smiling—a quiet, genuine smile that no one else would have believed him capable of.
"Sweet dreams, little wolf," he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper.
Klaus had watched the wolf for hours, his hand still resting gently on its back. There was something hypnotic about the rise and fall of its breathing, the way it had curled so trustingly into him. Eventually, even the mighty Klaus Mikaelson succumbed to the pull of sleep.
It was just before dawn when the wolf began to change. The transformation was silent, graceful in a way that defied the usual violent contortions Klaus associated with werewolves. Fur receded, bones reshaped, and in place of the white wolf lay a girl—her head still resting on his lap, her body covered only by the blanket.
Neither stirred.
It wasn’t until hours later, when the first rays of morning light filtered through the curtains, that Nicolette woke.
Her eyes fluttered open, her mind groggy, but it took only seconds for panic to set in. She wasn’t outside. She wasn’t in the woods. She was in a house she didn’t recognize, lying on the lap of a stranger.
Her breath caught in her throat as she scrambled back, clutching the blanket tightly to her chest. The sudden movement jolted Klaus awake, his blue-green eyes snapping open.
For a moment, neither spoke.
Nicolette was the first to break the silence. "Who are you?!" she demanded, her voice shaking despite her best efforts to sound firm.
Klaus stared at her, his expression unreadable but tinged with a faint amusement. His gaze lingered, as if trying to piece together how the wolf from last night had become the girl before him.
"So you really are a werewolf," he said finally, completely ignoring her question.
Nicolette frowned, clutching the blanket tighter as she sat up straighter. "I asked you a question!" she said, her voice a mix of fear and defiance.
"And I ignored it," Klaus replied smoothly, his smirk growing. "But fine. I’m Klaus. Klaus Mikaelson. And you are?"
Her breath hitched at the name. "You’re the hybrid," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
"In the flesh," he replied, his smirk now a full grin.
Nicolette’s eyes widened as she tried to make sense of the situation. "Did you kidnap me?" she asked, her voice rising with a mix of fear and accusation. "Is that how I ended up here?"
"Kidnap you?" Klaus echoed, offended by the very suggestion. "I’ll have you know, you came to my doorstep."
She blinked, her frown deepening as she processed his words.
Before she could respond, Klaus stood and began walking toward the hallway, his movements unhurried and unconcerned.
"Hey!" Nicolette called after him, clutching the blanket as she rose to her feet. "Where are you going?"
"To get you some clothes," Klaus replied over his shoulder, his tone casual. Then, with a glance back at her and a hint of that devilish smirk, he added, "Unless, of course, you’d prefer to continue this conversation in your little blanket ensemble."
Nicolette flushed, her grip on the blanket tightening as she glared at him. But Klaus had already disappeared into the next room, leaving her to process everything that had just happened.
Soon enough, Klaus returned with a black henley and a pair of sweatpants with a drawstring, the kind of casual clothes he probably didn’t wear often, but somehow they still looked good on him. He pointed toward a bathroom down the hall. "You can change in there," he said, his voice casual, as if the world hadn’t just shifted beneath their feet.
Nicolette took the clothes in silence, the weight of the situation pressing down on her. She didn’t trust herself to speak, not when her mind was still reeling. She changed quickly, the unfamiliar clothes feeling both comfortable and strange against her skin. When she emerged, Klaus was lounging on the sofa as if nothing had happened, a glass of bourbon in his hand and a faint smirk on his lips.
"It makes no sense," Nicolette said, her voice tight as she handed him the folded blanket. Her eyes didn’t leave his face, searching for any hint of an explanation, anything that might make sense of the madness of the night.
Klaus glanced up, raising an eyebrow. "What’s making no sense, love?"
She crossed her arms over her chest, frustration and confusion boiling within her. "When I turn, I run around ripping anything and anyone that comes into my way to shreds. I don’t come to stranger’s homes for belly rubs."
Klaus’s smirk only deepened. "Well, I don’t know what to tell you, little wolf. You came here, ate some food, nudged me until I rubbed you, and then fell asleep in my lap." He shrugged as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
Nicolette glared at him, shaking her head. "Wolves don’t act this way… especially around you."
"You wound me," Klaus said, a mock look of offense crossing his face, but his eyes sparkled with amusement.
She could feel the weight of his gaze on her, and she turned away, shaking her head. "The only way it would make sense is if you were my—"
Her voice faltered, the word hanging in the air between them, thick with unspoken possibilities.
"Your what, love? Finish the sentence," Klaus prompted, his voice low, as if he already knew where this was going.
She froze, her mind rejecting the thought. "No, there has to be another explanation," she said, her voice barely above a whisper, but it lacked conviction.
Klaus leaned forward, his expression all too knowing. "No, you started it… now continue."
Her pulse quickened. "It’s stupid," she muttered, but Klaus’s piercing gaze never wavered.
"I highly doubt that," he said, his voice dripping with the kind of confidence that could only belong to someone who had lived for centuries.
Nicolette swallowed hard, trying to steady herself. She took a breath and met his gaze. "How much do you know about werewolf folklore?" she asked, the question feeling heavy on her tongue.
Klaus didn’t hesitate. "You mean how much do I know about mates?" He raised a brow, the words cutting through the air like a blade.
Her breath hitched, and her heart skipped a beat. "Yes," she whispered, barely able to process the realization herself.
"Enough to know where you’re going with this," Klaus said, his tone surprisingly light.
Nicolette couldn’t help the frustration that bubbled up in her chest. "How are you so calm?" she asked, genuinely baffled.
Klaus stood up from the couch and made his way toward her, his footsteps measured and deliberate. "Because it has already crossed my mind," he said, his voice low but steady, the kind of calm that only centuries of experience could foster.
She shot him a puzzled look, but Klaus simply shrugged. "Your inner wolf sought me out. It craved my closeness and was calm around me. And for some reason, I felt calm as well. Doesn’t take a genius to put two and two together, love."
Nicolette shook her head, the idea still feeling like it couldn’t possibly be true. "There’s no way you’re my mate," she said, the words sounding almost ridiculous coming out of her own mouth.
"And why is that?" Klaus asked, an amused glint in his eyes.
"Because it’s insane," she replied quickly, but as soon as the words left her, she realized something: she wasn’t freaking out. The weight of the situation should’ve sent her into a spiral of panic, but she was calm. Too calm.
Klaus smirked, his eyes glinting with that knowing look of his. "I think we’ve both seen stranger things happen, haven’t we?"
She turned away slightly, running a hand through her hair, as if trying to process everything. "I feel like I should freak out," she said, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "Why do I feel so calm?"
Klaus took a step closer, his voice quiet yet unwavering. "Because your inner wolf recognizes my inner wolf."
It hit her then, like a wave crashing over her. Her body still felt foreign to her, caught between disbelief and undeniable truth. "So... you’re my mate," she murmured, almost as if she were talking to herself.
"That I am, love. And you’re mine," Klaus said, his tone final, matter-of-fact, as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
Nicolette looked at him, her mind still trying to catch up with the words. "How did I end up as a mate to the Original Hybrid?" she whispered, more to herself than to him.
Klaus chuckled softly, a rich sound that made her feel something stir deep inside her. "Beats me, love," he said, his grin widening.
She shook her head, still unsure of everything, but there was a strange comfort in his certainty, in the way he spoke, as if it was simply meant to be.

Okay I’m going to say it because I’ve seen like 10 posts about this in the last week and it’s kind of aggravating.
Before you start practicing paganism or dual faith or anything of any kind PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE learn the meaning and history of Syncretism. PLEASE.
Please stop saying that Christmas is only a Christian holiday, please stop saying that Christmas was stollen from the pagans. Please stop insisting that Yule and Christmas are the same holiday! Please stop saying that pagans cannot celebrate Christmas or that Christians shouldn’t celebrate Christmas! Christmas is many things to many different groups of people and ideas and customs evolve through time!!! There is NUANCE to these very complex ideas!!! Christmas does not need to be reclaimed, please stop.
Please stop saying that it belongs or doesn’t belong to any given group especially when humanity is so prone to spread messages and customs amongst eachother!!! “Similar” does not equal “the same” and different does not equal “the enemy”. Please stop trying to create these illogical divisions where they do not exist!!! Please read about the history of faith !!!! I beg of you!!!!
So often we see the blending and unity of concepts as “appropriation” and I’m sick of it. Our beliefs connect us so much more than they divide us. We learn so much about the world from each other and our different interpretations.
Likewise, just to touch base- nearly every single mythology or faith in the entire world takes its inspirations from somewhere. You are no superior to a Christian because you think your faith and customs are “older”.
We live in a paradoxical universe where multiple things can be true at once. You DO NOT get the authority to tell a Christian that their God is XYZ just because you’re a pagan. You do not get the authority to redefine how a group of people sees and interacts with their personal name of God. And you by no means get to claim credit for how different cultures interpret the natural world.
Yes, Christians obviously have a lot of practices that mirror pagan ones, they are not pagan, do not call them pagan. I don’t care how you feel about the Abrahamic God. So many of us hold a deep resentment towards Christianity because of religious trauma and I completely understand that, but when you try to massively oversimplify such complex topics like religion and faith, you not only risk sounding like an asshole but you make yourself look straight up stupid because you’re just wrong.
I am a devotee of Lucifer and I believe him to be the divine masculine aspect of mother Venus. I still need to understand and respect that for Christians, Lucifer represents something entirely different and that’s okay. They’re not necessarily wrong even if I fundamentally disagree. I disagree with what Lucifer is among other Luciferians and Satanists. That’s OKAY.
We have GOT to stop talking about mythology and folklore so literally. It leads us to have this “one or the other” mentality when more than one thing can be true at once! These myths are flexible and meant to change with culture. We can have respectful debates and conversations but holy moly please stop insisting that Christianity has “stollen” from you, and please for the love of God please stop trying to ruin a day that is significant to them by telling every Christian you see that Christmas is actually a pagan holiday.
(- and when I say this I am not referring to the atrocities of assimilation and slavery that forced pagan cultures to become Christian/catholic due to racism and xenophobia, that’s obviously very bad. My argument is simply that the entire Christian/Jewish/ Muslim faith cannot be discounted simply because historically, bad people used it to do bad things).
Thank you. 🙏

Every year on the last Friday of holy month of Ramadan, millions of Muslims worldwide participate in International Quds Day, a day established in 1979 by the Late Founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini.
The purpose of Quds Day, named after the Arabic word (al-Quds), is to demonstrate unwavering support for the Palestinian people in their struggle against Israeli occupation.
Large-scale rallies and marches characterize the day. Public figures deliver speeches, often inciting chants of "Death to Israel, Death to America."
Quds Day extends beyond Iran's borders. The 1988 decision by the Organization of the Islamic Conference's Jerusalem Committee ensured public events throughout the Arab world. Countries with significant Shia populations, particularly Lebanon where Hezbollah holds major observances, witness high turnout. Notably, groups like Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad actively endorse and participate in Quds Day activities.
Leaders within the resistance movements view Quds Day as a potent symbol of unity and a message of unwavering support for Palestine. Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary-General of Lebanon's Hezbollah, emphasizes that Quds Day instills fear in Israel due to the projected image of solidarity. (TehranTimes.com)

Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and Drake Mallard with their kids support Palestine in Jerusalem - Happy Eid al-Adha - Happy Father's Day! - Duck comics, Ducktales and Darkwing Duck - Duckverse
I wish all Muslims who celebrate a happy Eid! That is, Eid al-Adha. In addition to Eid al-Fitr, one of the biggest Muslim holidays when the Hajj begins and the day of offering to God as well as the remembrance of the deceased. On those days, sacrificial meat is cut, especially meat related to Eid al-Adha. It is celebrated because on that day, Abraham was supposed to sacrifice his son at God's command until the Archangel Gabriel (Jibril among Muslims) intervened, so Abraham (Ibrahim among Muslims) instead slaughtered a ram as a thanksgiving sacrifice to God the creator. An animal (mainly a lamb) is sacrificed and the meat itself is sacrificed and divided into three parts. The family keeps one third; the second third is given to relatives, friends and neighbors; the third third is given to the poor and vulnerable.
Today is also Father's Day, which is celebrated every third Sunday in June in America and around the world, while in some countries, Father's Day varies from country to country. So Happy Father's Day to all fathers, uncles and grandfathers.
On this occasion and because of current events, I drew Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and Drake Mallard with their children holding Palestinian flags. I am not in the habit of promoting anyone like this, nor am I on anyone's side but the right side, but a great tragedy is happening in Palestine, especially in Gaza where people are dying en masse, especially women and children. And not only Muslims, but also Palestinian Christians (Catholics and Orthodox), with whom I most identify and sympathize. However, many people send through their mobile phones what is happening and most people are engaged to help them as well as about the crimes committed against them. I'm just against such injustice so I drew this, of course they are in Jerusalem where they defend the Golden Dome of the Rock as well as Al Aqsa, important Muslim temples because that's where Muhammad ascended to heaven. A certain group of orthodox and ultra Jews want to destroy it in order to build their temple, and for me as a Christian, this is unacceptable, especially considering that their messiah is a Christian Antichrist, but that is a long story to tell. Certainly, after Gaza, the next goal is Jerusalem and the expulsion of Muslims from that city as well as Christians, and I am against that and that injustice, and I am asking people to get involved in this and to help people as much as possible, regardless of whether through prayers, petitions or sending donations. Like sending real food, not toys. And no, I'm not for Hezbollah or the terrorists, but for the common people who are suffering from it, and they need a lot of help. Here's one way to help: https://afsc.org/news/6-ways-you-can-support-palestinians-gaza
Of course, support drawings like this mean nothing, but they mean moral support and will definitely not stop the current genocide that is happening, but it can help you know what it is about and spread the message to others. And if someone asks me, a lot of Jews who advocate for a Palestinian state are in solidarity with Muslims and Christians and are against the evil that is happening. So spread the word, so they know what's going on.
Yes, I drew Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Drake Mallard, Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck and Gosalyn Mallard from Darkwing Duck fighting wrongdoing and defeating the evil in Jerusalem with unity and harmony against the evil happening in Gaza. Of course I drew in my own way in the classic version. My only apology is that Daisy is not wearing a headscarf, my fault.
And not only in Palestine, but all over the world where injustice is done. Rest in peace to those people who have suffered so far, amen.
And I hope you liked this drawing and if you support this, and who support Palestine, please like and reblog this! Just don't use my same ideas without mentioning me, thanks! I also wish all Muslims a Happy Eid al-Adha and a Happy Father's Day to all fathers, uncles and grandfathers! Yes, Donald Duck is a great uncle to his nephews, just as Drake Mallard is a great father to his daughter.

An American Muslim group that supported the October 7 slaughter of Israelis has launched an advertising campaign to demonstrate that Islam “promotes peace and the sanctity of life.” Talk about chutzpah!
This latest burst of hypocrisy comes courtesy of the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), a group whose declared mission is to “establish a place for Islam in North America.”
The ICNA wants to convince the American public that Islam is inherently peaceful. To that end, the ICNA’s “GainPeace” project is currently investing $30,000 in a massive digital billboard advertisement in Times Square to “spotlight Islam’s core values of peace, unity and the sanctity of life,” according to a press release from the group.
By targeting “one of the world’s most iconic and busiest locations,” the ICNA’s billboard message will reach “over 450,000 pedestrians daily.” Project director Sabeel Ahmed says the project is necessary to showcase “the sanctity of human life” at a time “when innocent lives, especially of civilians, are being tragically lost.”
But what does the ICNA have to say about the sanctity of Jewish life? How does it view the taking of innocent Jewish lives, especially of civilians, in southern Israel on October 7, 2023?
To find that answer, one need not go further than the ICNA’s own website. A prominent section (https://icna.org/on-palestine-and-israel-correct-information-is-getting-through-to-more-americans/) showcases what the ICNA calls “just a few samples of honest and fair reporting on the current crisis.” These samples are “good information to give to non-Muslim Americans with whom you get in conversation about what is going on now in Palestine,” the website urges its readers.
The ICNA website then presents excerpts from the writings of five extremist authors in various publications. Some choice examples:
— “Israel is realizing right now that it can’t oppress its neighbors forever without expecting retaliation. Palestinians have tried many methods of reasoning with Israel, only to be turned down; many nonviolent forms of protest, only to be gunned down.”
— “Hamas initiated these hostilities – because, how long should humans live, starving, in a cage, before they fight back? What else did Israel expect would happen?”
— “Regimes implanted and maintained by violence engender violence…. The Palestinians, like all colonized people, have a right to armed resistance under international law.”
— “How can you trap 2.3 million people in Gaza…and not expect a violent response?”
— “The Palestinians have ‘started’ nothing. They have managed, after so much struggle, to find a way to hurt their tormentor.”
It also includes the usual selection of anti-Israel slurs: Israel is “an apartheid state” … it is engaged in “a slow-motion campaign of ethnic cleansing” … “the Al-Aqsa mosque has been desecrated again and again”… and “Israel is illegally holding over five thousand political prisoners” (because the ICNA considers convicted Arab terrorists to be “political prisoners”).
These are the vicious lies and support for anti-Jewish violence that the ICNA considers “honest” and “fair.” The “good information” that the ICNA says should be “given to non-Muslim Americans” consists of unabashed justification of the mass murders and gang rapes and decapitation of babies on October 7 that Hamas terrorists committed.
So with one hand, the ICNA claims to “foster interfaith understanding and spread a message of peace” in Times Square – while its other hand openly fosters hatred and a message of war.
New York City’s Department of Transportation, together with the nonprofit group Times Square Alliance, determines who can advertise on the billboards there. Department of Transportation officials might say there is nothing inherently objectionable about the specific content of the ICNA’s digital billboard messages about “peace.” Yet there is something very objectionable about the ICNA itself – it’s a violence-promoting hate group.
If a hate group such as the Ku Klux Klan wanted to sponsor a Times Square billboard about “peace” – while simultaneously running a website promoting racist violence against minorities – would the NYC Department of Transportation permit it? Hopefully not.
Hopefully, New York’s officials would treat the Klan as a pariah, and reject any and all advertising from it. That is how the ICNA should be treated, so long as it publicly endorses the mass murder, torture, kidnapping, and rape of Israeli Jews.
