Funny story:

From like 11-17ish years old, I had a drafty basement bedroom with an unfinished closet that I was already convinced was haunted, but evidence for that could be compiled in a separate post.

Anyway, in middle school I once thought I heard a little girl’s voice shouting, “MOM!” over the sound of my music. I took out my headphones and didn’t hear it again.

The next morning I asked my mom why my young sibling had been up yelling, assuming it had been them. No one else had heard it. I brushed it off until one night I heard it AGAIN. Same faint voice. I ripped off my headphones and nothing.

This voice continued to scare the ever loving shit out of me for YEARS until I found out that it’s just some weird audio mixing in the background of a Linkin Park song I used to listen to a lot. I could only hear it when I had the volume particularly high and there was no other noise around (late at night in my room). I can’t even remember what song it is off the top of my head. Anyway fuck whoever put that little noise in there.
