The four covers -- for Superman #18-19 and Action Comics #975-976 -- are horizontally-connected variants, and there’s a mysterious character in part 3 who is apparently such a game-changer that he has been blacked out and won't be revealed, according to DC, until the book's publication date.

Certainly the fact that Mr. Oz is playing such a key role in the Superman titles right now, it seems plausible that this mysterious figure could turn out to be an unmasked version of that character.
