Funny thing is that the first time I was confronted with ableism was in primary school when a random child asked me on the playground if I was autistic and when I told them I was then they proceeded asked me if I was stupid.

It's sad how some allies don't know that ableism doesn't have to be overt and sometimes a simple question can escalate into worse.

I wish more books wouldn't hold back talking about tween suicide. Its more common than some think. Especially now.

Fire, fire, burning bright,
