They call this 1959 home a "Norwegian Boat House," but it looks like a coffin to me. Anyway, the 3bd, 3ba, 2,380 sq ft home in Los Angeles, CA is beautiful inside, but it's not exactly roomy for $1.998m. Take a look at it.

This must be the entrance, around the back by the driveway, b/c it fronts a mountainside.

So, it's at least 3 levels and appears to be open concept.

It's not a very large home, but it has great views and a terrace on the main floor. So, the living room and dining area share the same space.

And, then the smallish kitchen is right there.

There's this area off to the side of the kitchen, also.

Then you can go down to the lower level.

There is a bedroom with room for seating and access to the terrace.

There's also a family room that's cozy.

And, there's a nice big shower.

They are using this room as a bedroom, but I wonder if that's what it's supposed to be, b/c it has a kitchenette.

Smaller room with a closet is used as a home office.

How about living in a house that's over a mountainside? Those stilts it's on look pretty sturdy, except in the case of a landslide, earthquake, flood, etc. The 2017 Asheville, North Carolina contemporary has 3bds, 3.5ba. $3.995M + $9 mo. HOA fee.

This is nice. Look at this living room in the treetops.

In this open concept layout the kitchen and family room are just a few steps alongside the long living room.

The open galley kitchen has nice black cabinets. The island/stove has a stainless counter and the the sink side has some sort of faux stone composite.

The dining area shares the living room to take advantage of the view.

There's a beautiful deck with a fireplace and small bar.

Covered barbecue area on the side of the fireplace.

The main bedroom has a gorgeous view and a modern fireplace in the wall.

Even the en-suite has an amazing view.

To the right of the sinks you can catch a glimpse of the walk-in closet.

This bedroom is small, but it has nice little view, too.

Plus a large en-suite shower room.

There isn't a pool, but this deck has a private hot tub.

And, there it is, in a clearing.

The nearest neighbor is deep thru the woods. The house comes with 2.7 acres of land.
