March 14, 2023 ‘Ocean and the Abalone Shell Heart-Art Bundle’

Continuing to show up for myself just feels like everything in my body doesn’t want to do it. I DO want to do the Art, I feel safe in the art. The writing thing is a complete danger zone.

The Oscars gave me juice and inspiration to temporarily be around creatives, expressives and Believers. Believers in Art. Just like the lines of my logo / heart-center piece are a ride, and the circles are the high points, now I’m reentering the white space of the Art … in the emptiness where there is no art, and so many things are possible, like truth…

The truth of this Ocean Heart-Art project is that I didn’t start with the tiny shell symbols, I started with the art on these pages. 

I used to design the ‘right way’ and ‘in order’, but now I’m allowing myself to explore outside any rules in my head. 

Following my Intuition feels like I’m breaking something, so it’s quite nice to pause to say yes to the abstract patterns.

I was going to explain that I don’t know what art will come next, but I DO know that if I build on moments of art that I love, more moments will come.  

I love that there is a visual difference between the vector art and the printed art, because it’s part of the process of choosing what to do with this art.  

And this is really the biggest gift that came out of my All lines are beautiful journey - that I get to play with creating art abstractly, and then knit it together … See what moments make my heart still and happy. And the best part, for as long as I am working in the art, I don’t have to think about anything, or really decide anything. 

The art always creates Joy and an Opening, which is a huge piece of my WHY.

More Arts! LLC. turned 9 today! This is exciting for me to see, as it was a goal of mine to create a Tumblr account in the year 2015. It's featuring Russia but still has Moreart's chorus. The Chorus has an echo and the AIs do NOT like an echo they don't know what line to sing and it sounds like mushed up gibberish because it's trying to do both lines at once. The first few bars of Russia's are not very good but it gets a lot better as the song goes on! Also I had to skip to this one in the line when I saw it because I love this song.

I went out of my way to find the song because this has been haunting me since I saw it and I was fully expecting some obscure crunk club banger from the Lil Jon era of dirty south hip-hop and I'm still not sure I comprehend this is a song from 2020, recorded by a Kazakhstani rapper because this sound exactly like something that you would have heard on the rap stations in the mid 2000's
