This family portrait was likely commissioned, just before Johnny headed off to MU. As a way to commemorate their gratitude as parent’s, before their son embarks on his journey.

The art trade part with @tumblornis of Slappy and McLean (two of Fear Co./Johnny Worthington III’s employees, ig) from Monsters At Work in the season 2 via Monsters Inc. franchise, since Slappy tried to make a joke about, however, McLean was not very interested in it at all.

To be honest, I know for sure I haven't started watching any more episodes (except for 1 episode of the first season) between seasons 1 and 2 of MaW, but I've gotten to really enjoy drawing these two of the background characters for the first time.

And I hope you like it.

I’ve been kinda scared of this opinion since the nature of the people in this fandom, but I would like to think that after Johnny’s arrest, Claire would take over Fearco and Sulley and Mike could help her through everything. Maybe her and Sulley could become buisness partners exchanging information between companies. And maybe they try to convince her to switch to laugh power but she is still skeptical about it, and they allow her to take her time to think about it. Perhaps Sulley and Claire could also… become a couple? 👀

Now I of course would like lots of development between the two, but think about it. She has two kids who are currently fatherless and probably devastated and Claire would be a single mother who is also working on rebuilding Fearco, and since Sulley is seen to be amazing with children, he could potentially become their father figure and maybe even get on Lorelei’s good side all while bonding with Claire and helping out with Fearco. It would be interesting to see Sulley focusing on life other than business

i should also mention that Claire was secretly rooting for OK the whole time during the scare games in MU. Makes me wonder if she never would’ve gone with Johnny if Sulley and Mike weren’t expelled…
