Patton crossed his arms over his chest and pouted.

"That's what thanksgiving is about!"

"I think it' more about the myth of white supremacy, the noble savage and the prelude to genocide." Virgil growled back.

"I'm pretty sure it has more to do with cranberries."

"I think I may be on my little sweet-tart's side on this." Roman weighed in. "Perhaps it hits different because I wasn't told the mythos as a child?"

Patton gave an offended gay gasp that he had absoltly picked up from Roman.

Logan sighed heavily and pinched the bridge of his nose. This was giving him a headache. Virgil had just woken up grouchy, it seemed and had started taking it out on the nearest stress- that being Patton's gleefull Thanksgiving Day plans. Their kitchen was absolutly stuffed with food, including a turkey that would only just fit in their oven.

"Listen, kiddo-" Patton started. "I know that they sure didn't treat the natives well, but that's no reason to give up on everything."

"Genocide, Patton." Virgil repeated. "Putting some cranberry jelly on it doesn't change that."

"But that's not what Thanksgiving is about!" the werewolf protested.

"That does seem to be the central narrative. I like a party as much as the next person- and I am looking forward to seeing Remy, but-"

"That's the point!" Patton whirled and pointed at Roman with a spatula. "Family! Food! Being together! coming together to enjoy a meal together!"

"Drinking yourself insensible so you don't have to deal with your relatives." Virgil provided.

"Charitably-" Logan offered "One could call it a harvest festival, though the average modern American is even further removed from that than they are the so-called 'First Thanksgiving'."

"Kind of an anti-harvest festival, given that harvest festivals are about expressing bounty, and lack of bounty is what brought on the first one, isn't it?" Roman asked.

Patton glared at them all.

"Pie is for festive people." he said tightly.

Virgil looked over to the veritable smorgasbord of different pies set out on the pass through counter.

"... okay fine, I'll set the table."

"Thank you!" Patton grinned.

"But no Christmas carols, and I'm still going to bitch about Black Friday."

"Your terms and conditions have been accepted!"

MC BECOMES A GHOST AU!!

lets say MC dies due to natural causes, causing great grief to all of the characters, especially the brothers. Eventually, they move on, assuming their soul had gone to the celestial realm. Though, unbeknownst to them, MC actually becomes a spirit due to…well, the fact that there‘s probably never gonna be no business with the brothers. MC’s soul is stuck in the brother’s human world house, which they don’t use at all really, which causes it to eventually become the resident haunted house of the street. The urban legend that ’explains MC’s existence’ says that they were killed by one of their 7 peculiar ‘Roomates’. About 100-200 years pass, and since MC is confined to the house, they basically start to go a little insane, attempting to hug, hold, or talk to anyone who they come across. Which obviously comes across as them attacking people.

Eventually, the brothers come back to use the house, having accepted MC’s death and most of them having had gotten over the grief in healthy ways.

Mammon starts to look around the house, they hadn’t been there in a while, after all, there might be some treasure around! He goes either up to the attic, or down to the basement, seeing a…strangely familiar ghosty figure huddled up in the corner, rocking slowly back and forth…back and forth…whispering something over…and over…yikes. Mammon jumps back in fear, squealing like a little girl. Probably yelling for Lucifer, who was currently attempting to make lunch peacefully, and didn’t hear Mammon. This causes the figure‘s head to turn around, letting out loud cracks and crunches in the process. But…instead of being met with the face of a monster, or the face of a stranger…well, he was met with the face of that human he had loved so very much all those years ago. It was…unsettling to see their face without any life…any colour..any smile.

MC, however is delighted, shooting up and immediately running to hug him. Though MC was not met with the warm embrace they so desperately wanted and needed, but…they were met by the soul crushing fact that they had phased through him. And Mammon just…screamed in fear again, running up the stairs calling for big brother Lucifer, like he always did. This was going to be a handful to explain. A handful to process. I mean, just imagine how they would react to the realisation that they had accidentally abandoned and neglected the one they loved so much, to the point that they had been driven to insanity? Well…atleast more than halfway to it.

The Is There Anything Left of Patton? series by Adrianainthesnow Post-Apocalypse/Zombie AU (Logicality) Rating: T When Virgil takes shelter from the apocalypse with Logan in his home, he soon learns that the man's late husband is haunting it in more than a metaphorical sense. Notes: I'm an absolute sucker for more hopeful zombie stories, and this is one of my absolute favorite series in that vein. This one starts out heart-wrenchingly sad, but the ending, while bittersweet, is well worth the trek you take to get there.

The iZombie AU by soysaucevictim iZombie AU (Prinxiety, Dukeceit, Intrulogical) Rating: NR It seemed like such a noble cause when he got recruited to the fight against the undead, brain-eating monsters lurking among them. At least until Roman's first target turns out to be his own estranged brother. Notes: Look, more zombies. There's so much in this series. It's morbid and emotional and actiony, dark in some places and funny at others, sometimes both at once, and overall just fantastic.

The Monstrous Roomates series by Willowanderer Supernatural AU (LAMP, Remile) Rating: T-M The interconnected stories of a paranormal polycule and their baffled and baffling ghostly roommate, Thomas. Notes: A long-running series of stories across several eras focused on a universe built around the Sides' monstersonas from Embarrassing Phases, and one that wrings absolutely everything possible out of its premise. At turns funny, fluffy, suspensful and heartbreaking.

Mold by FlowerMeat Canonverse (Gen) Rating: T Something is slowly taking hold of Roman: an infection, an itch that no amount of scratching seems to satisfy... Notes: A very different (and delightfully gruesome) take on how how Remus came to be. Very creepy, very fun (well, not for Roman).

From Time Immemorial by DramaticGarbage Vampire/Soulmate AU (LAMP) Rating: G At the rate at which his timer is moving, Logan doubts he'll ever get the chance to meet his soulmate... That is, until he is attacked one night and suddenly finds that he has all the time in the world to wait. Notes: A softly spooky, romantic story about four soulmates born centuries apart.

Monkey's Paw by alicat54c Canonverse (Gen) Rating: M Remus gets to make five wishes on a monkey's paw to change Thomas's mind to his liking. Notes: A very Remus twist on a classic horror story.

Under the Moon by Iceshard1011 Werewolf AU (Intrulogical, Anxceit, eventual Prinxceit) Rating: T When Remus is bitten by a werewolf, Roman's loyalty is put to the test. With no idea who to listen to and who to trust, he finds himself on the run with his brother, trapped in an endless chase to keep his brother alive. Notes: Or, Roman and Remus's Nightmare Fugitive Roadtrip. This one is a ride, packed beginning to end with suspense, anguish, betrayal and (eventually) forgiveness.

on crimson nights like this by AndTheyreOnFire Supernatural AU (DRLAMP) Rating: T Roman is a werewolf, tired of feeling like a burden to his partners and his brother. The ritual he finds when they search a haunted house one night could hold the answers he's looking for... Notes: Some spooky hurt/comfort with a softly happy ending.

The Creature Under The Bed series by MagpieMorality Supernatural AU (Intruality) Rating: T Remus is a demonic gremlin creature that has fallen madly in love with Patton. And, when Patton is thrown into danger, Remus is willing to fight both the Light above and the Dark below to earn their happy ending. Notes: Utterly strange, cute and terrifying and weirdly romantic.

Unlikely Hero by LeftoverParadox Canonverse (Gen) Rating: E A dangerous entity is unleashed within Thomas's mind: a side calling itself "Reflection", but known to the dark sides as the Mirrorman. When the others disregard Janus's warnings, it falls to Remus to save his fellow sides from themselves. Notes: Not the traditional horror story, but still very effectively terrifying. The Mirrorman is one of the most disturbing and memorable OC sides I've read.

Monster AU by Tapper_PlushieMama Supernatural AU (DRLAMP) Rating: M Logan discovers five men living together under a monstrous curse. Unable to tell him the details of how they were cursed or how to break it, it's up to Logan to try to unravel the puzzle at hand. Notes: Or, Logan gets to solve a mystery and wins himself five boyfriends in the process.

The Night Fellow by Miranda_tries_their_best Cryptid AU (Gen) Rating: T Logan goes in search of the mysterious local cryptid known as the Night Fellow. Notes: Spooky fluff. Cryptid!Virgil somehow manages to be both terrifying and adorable.

Loop by blue_toothache Ghost AU (Gen) Rating: T Logan is the only tenant on the top floor of his apartment building. Or, at least, he thought he was until recently... Notes: A very effectively haunting ghost AU. The rest of the series is also good, but this first fic stands so well on its own.

Afraid of the Dark by Giantsketches Supernatural AU (Intrumoceit) Rating: T So badly afraid of the dark that it's disrupting his sleep, Patton is talked into buying a nightlight. But maybe what hides in the darkness isn't actually all that frightening. Notes: A short, cute fic about cuddling shadow monsters. The adorable artwork is an added treat.

Far From Boring by Hoard_of_hyperfixations Post-Apocalypse/Zombie AU (Dukeceit) Rating: M Remus is a zombie with (slightly) more brains than most, and just enough luck to run into the one survivor curious enough not to simply shoot him on sight (and with morals just loose enough to keep his ravenous new companion properly fed). Notes: Yet more zombies. Featuring traumatic family reunions and the glorious indignity that is Remus's embarrassing post-mortem crush on Janus.

Vultures by FlowerMeat Serial Killer AU (Gen) Rating: M The sides are a tightly-knit group of serial killers, each with their own unique methods, and all willing to help the others cover up their crimes. Note: This one is super dark, but still each side's particular MO feels so uniquely them. Patton's chapter in particular is something I'm not likely to forget any time soon...

Wildfire by @curiositydooropened (completed series, enemies to lovers) This fic has one of the best world building, I need this to happen in s5, actually. Doesn't shy away from discussions of ptsd and overall, it was so well done. I still have to finish it, but I know Amanda did an amazing job with it. <3

Glitch by @munsonsreputation (series, friends to lovers) This fic is just so cozy and cute. Reader insert felt like a very well-rounded character. You will love all the interactions with the other characters. It's just so well done. <3

whip it! by @schoopsahoy (one shot) This fic was cuteness overload. Loved the confident reader insert, and overall, the character dynamics were so well done, esp Steve and the kids <3

don't think twice, it's alright by @hawkinsquarry (part of a series, hurt/comfort post s4) I think this is one of my fav hurt/comfort pieces I've read this year. The interactions between reader and Steve are so tender. Overall, this was perfect <3

Into Open Flames by @kurokoros (completed series, established relationship, horror, set after s2 canon divergence) This fic has amazing world building. The original monster is so terrifying and well done that I was on the edge of my seat all the time. I adored Steve's character so much, kinda wish the show would have handled his character that way instead of what they did in s3/4. Overall amazing writing <3

confetti by @slashersteve (series, single!dad Steve) My favorite single dad Steve fic out there. I still haven't read the latest part, but I had to mention this series. It's amazing. The characters feel so real, and you'll fall in love with Steve's daughter <3

become the sun by @headkiss (one shot, strangers to friends to lovers) This was probably my favorite summer fic. I adored the small beach town vibe. Overall, that was such a cute read. I still need to read this year's Christmas fic, which I know will be great because last year's was amazing. <3

the view between villages, part one: good bones by @sattlersquarry (completed series, choose your own adventure, s3) Listen this is one of the most creative works I've read. The amount of work that was put in it is insane. You play an active part and get to choose how your story ends. This was such a fun experience <3

the swindling of steve harrington’s heart by @stevebabey (one shot, strangers to lovers) This was such a cute fic, like Steve asking for dating advice in the Hawkins Post was just sweet. I loved all the interactions between him and the reader. If you need a pick-me-up, this is your fic <3

and they were roomates by @sunshinesteviee (one shot, friends to lovers) This fic was just so cute. I loved Robin being kinda in the middle of this and sick of their bullshit. Overall, amazing writing and a quick read if you are feeling down and need cheering up <3

almost paradise by @hawkinsindiana (completed series for now, ST rewrite covering all seasons) I said it so many times, but this is one of my overall favorite stories. Kinda wish we had the reader character in the actual show because it makes so much sense. The writing is amazing, I even shed a few tears towards the end. I can't wait to see what's in store for s5. Also, check out the various blurbs that go with it. There is so much work being put into this, and it deserves a bit more love. I'm gonna re-read the whole thing next year. <3

steve zombie!au by @luveline (compilation of blurbs and one shots) This is one of my fav AU, I can't just choose one thing, so I linked the entire masterlist Their relationship is just so special. I love the world building and the other characters. It's amazing <3

"WOOOO HEADSHOT" You could hear even if you were actually there. If was your lovely and oh so quiet roomate, Choi Beomgyu. The biggest nerd youve ever seen. He was dorky with his messy dark brown hair. If he wasnt busy playing games he was working or napping. Often falling asleep on the couch after watching a whole series of k-dramas. However dispite all of this, you found him to be darling. The chocolate haired boy never failed to put a smile on your face as he would smile at you when you brought him food during his midnight gaming sessions.

It was 10pm on a friday, which is a normal gaming beomgyu hour. You were at the gas station picking up some extra snacks for you and beomgyu. He paid just a little bit more then you for rent so it was the least you could do. You walked around the aisles, your phone lights up with a message.

beargyu !: "Can u pick up some sour patch kids plsss 🤤"

Y/n: "yes i can anything else ?"

beargyu !: "A MONSTER 👹"

Y/n: "original im assuming"

beargyu !: "u know me sm OK BYE"

You close your phone and pick of the sour patch kids and two monsters. Last time you only brought one beomgyu got mad because he didnt have one for the morning. Now you always get 2 monsters for him. You actually have a list on your notes app for all the stuff he gets from different places. Down to the amount of pickles he wants on his burger. You start heading back to the apartment. Its not far from where you and beomgyu live so you often just walk.

You get back home and place your keys down and kick off your shoes, placing the snacks on the counter. You could already tell he was playing Modern Warfare just by the noises the TV was making. You lay on the couch for a bit. Too tired to really move around. You were a sleepy girl, not much someone can do there, well besides sleep. Which is what you did for about 15 minutes before your phone was being blown up by beomgyu telling you to hurry up. For all he knew you were still at the Corner store buying him snacks. Sitting up and stretching for a bit, you got up to grab the snacks.

You made him some Mac n cheese so he could have real food and not just snacks. For some weird reason the owners if the apartment never thought it was a good idea to get a modern day stove, so it takes 25 whole minutes just for the water to boil a bit. and whole 40 minutes later, it was ready. You got the bowl of mac n cheese and his monster and knocked on the door before opening it. And there he was, your adorable roomate yelling at the TV because some kid shot him. Placing the food down on the table you tapped him softly. "Gyu i made you food so you dont starve yourself mk?" He looks at you brightly as if you were a genie from a bottle and closes his game. He never liked to game and eat, something about the food being too good he doesnt do his best. "Thank you! Your the best, omg you even got the right shape for the noodles. Its like you were made for me" He says, smiling widely before taking a big bite of the food. All you could do was smile.

Once he finished he put his bowl away in the sink then headed straight back to gaming. By now it was almost 12 and beomgyu was still gaming away. Yoy thought too bring the sour patch kids he asked for. Putting them in a bowl so he doesnt have to dig around for them, and removing all the yellow ones. Beomgyu never liked the yellow sour patch even though you loved them. You brought the candy to beomgyu, as he turns to look at you as he flashes his one of a kind smile. It makes your heart flutter like it always does. "Y/N you have my candyyy ugh howd you know i was craving them right now" He ask but its not really a question, you just smile and giggle. "Im just magic" you said to him "You're welcomeee" you say leaving the room. "Thank you, love you" He replied. Which made your heart stop. You had always had a little crush on Beomgyu if it wasnt clear as day. He was exactly your type and he was major cute. You never wanted to act on it though incease he didnt feel the same and one of you would have to move out because of your feelings.

You chose not to think about it. Maybe it just slipped out, Friends say i love you all the time, he probably wasnt even thinking. You scroll through your phone for about half an hour before you hear an angry scream and a door slamming, along with a very pouty beomgyu. He sits next to you pn the couch with a loud huff sound. "Oh no what happned" you say with a sorry look. "Some 12 year old just killed me in overwatch, he was actually cheating and he got the play of the game!" Poor gyu you thought for a bit before he laid ontop of you. He always does this when he loses a game. He comes to you with that adorable pouty face and cuddles you. "Is there anything i can do to make you feel better" you said softly, messing with his hair. It goes quiet for a bit and you think he's fallen asleep when you here. "You could kiss me" What. The words leave his mouth and all of a sudden your at a loss for words. He just said you could kiss him, AND IT WOULD MAKE HIM FEEL BETTER? "Only if you want me to.." you say softly in return. And that was all beomgyu needed before he shuffled up and planted a quick kiss on your lips.

Both of your faces turned red, beomgyus ears turning the same shade as well. Next thing you knew, you kissed him, deeper and more passionate this time. He returned the kiss putting his hands on your waist. Wrapping your arms around his neck. Your lips moved in sync with one another. Passion and romance filled the room. Beomgyu licked your lips as a way to ask to add tongue to the kisses, and you happily open up your mouth a bit to let him in. These kisses last for what seems only a fee minutes, but you both stop due to the fact that air is needed to be alive.

"Idk ive just always had feelings for you" he said softly, "I mean how could i not, your so pretty and sweet, and loveable. Your eyes are so soft, and you always seem to just know me its amazing." He lets his thoughts run free from his brain to his mouth. And you dont mind. "Like you get me food and hold me when in sad, you never judge me. You take out the yellow sour patch even thought i do like them, i just tell you to take them out so you can eat them because i know theyre your favorite. But i told you i didnt like them once, and that was 6 months ago" You couldnt help but giggle and give him another kiss. "Oh gyu your so silly, thats one of the main reasons i fell for you" you say smiling and plant a kiss on his forehead. You were so happy, nothing else was said that night as you and beomgyu fell asleep on the couch, not caring what back problems came the next day

Adam, Alastor and Lucifer are roomates. They live together

They hunt demons, that's the Supernatural-like part

But they also live normal lifes cause I'm a sucker for slice of life AUs too.

For the Supernatural part:

Alastor make a deal with a wendigo, so now his soul is tainted and damned. Lucifer and Adam are not okay with this and try to find a way to keep Alastor away from dark ancient magic (he likes it a little bit).

More like a Supernatural plot line, this is more like The Winchesters. Adam's family was killed by some monster when he was a child and he was taken in by a hunter's community, where he met Alastor and Alastor's mom too. So they're basically chilhood friends.

Lucifer come waaaay later, in adulthood. One day, in a hunt mission to kill a strange demon, they met this beautiful man who doesn't remember a thing about his life and is called after The Devil himself.

They should have killed Lucifer, but Alastor found him funny and took him in.

For the Day-to-day part:

Alastor is a college teacher who's making a PHD in journalism. Hunting is more like a part-time-job he uses to deal with stress and blow some steam off.

Lucifer doesn't remeber shit for what he did for living before joining Adam and Alastor, but likes to draw. A lot. Alastor at first thought he may be some kind of famous artist and made a research, but found nothing.

Adam's main focus is hunting and, since we met, discover anything he can about Lucifer. But he sometimes works as a musician.

They three have matching tattos. For protection against evil entities, of course. Lucifer drew them.

Alastor's mum is some kind of archivist, and she is alive and well. Sometimes she brings meals to that three disasters.

Slickis gazes at his friend Horvark, concern etched into his features. He takes a step closer, his voice low and soft.

Slickis (gently) Hey... what happened, man? Can you tell me what's wrong?

Horvark: I just lost one eye because of a stupid human who mistake my eye with a bullet

Slickis lets out a gasp of surprise, his eyes widening as he processes the information.

Slickis (stunned) What? They shot out your eye? Just like that?

Horvark shakes again ;;

Slickis' anecdote seems to provide some hope and encouragement to Horvark. Slickis continues, recalling the tale with a sense of admiration.

Slickis (inspiringly) My ancestor lost an eye too, but he didn't let it stop him. He was a hunter and a warrior, known for his skill and bravery. He adapted his skills, learned to fight and hunt effectively with one eye, and even made weapons out of the horns and claws of the dinosaurs he hunted.

Horvark listen to him

Slickis continues speaking, his voice filled with conviction and pride.

Slickis (assertively) You're strong, Horvark. You can get through this. Just like my ancestor did.

He gives his friend a firm, reassuring look, hoping to instill some courage and determination in him.

Horvark: thanks, but i had a problem is my third date with Luna, you know the friend of Diamond the white bat monster you are dating....

Slickis nods, understanding the dilemma.

Slickis (supportively) Yeah, I remember. You're worried about how she'll react to your eye, huh?

Slickis pauses for a moment, trying to think of a solution. Then an idea comes to him.

Horvark: yes ; ;

Slickis (thoughtfully) Well... what if you take this as an opportunity to be honest with her? Explain what happened and how it's affected you, and how you're working on adapting. Honesty might be the best policy.

Horvark: ok, but how

Slickis thinks for a moment, then responds with a reassuring tone.

Slickis (gently) Just talk to her. Be sincere and open about what happened, and how it's made you feel. Don't try to hide or downplay it. Chances are, if she's a good friend, she'll understand and be supportive.

Horvark: alright

Slickis offers a small smile, trying to be encouraging.

Slickis (reassuringly) You got this, man. And I'll be here if you need me, okay?

Horvark: ok...

Horvark puts a black glove on his right hand where the lost eye was....

Later.....

After the discussion with Slickis, Horvark takes some time to prepare himself for his date with Luna. He puts on a black glove to cover his empty eye socket and feels more comfortable and ready.

Horvark: well i m ready

Slickis gives his friend a thumbs up of encouragement.

Slickis (supportively) You got this, man. Remember, just be honest and open. Good luck!

Horvark nodded and go outside of the monster academy for his date

Horvark steps out of the academy, a mix of nervousness and determination on his face. He takes a deep breath, steeling himself for the upcoming date with Luna.

Luna is already waiting outside the academy, standing patiently and looking around for Horvark. She smiles when she sees him approach.

Horvark: hey Luna...

Luna waves, a warm smile on her face.

Luna (cheerfully) Hey there, Horvark! Ready for our date?

Horvark: yes

Luna grins and walks over to him, linking her arm through his.

Luna (excitedly) Wonderful! Let's get going, then.

Horvark nodded

Luna and Horvark begin walking together, chatting and enjoying each other's company as they make their way towards the location of their date.

They arrive to their location

The walk takes them to a cozy and secluded spot, hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The sun is starting to set, casting a warm, romantic glow over everything.

Horvark: ; ;

As they arrive, Luna glances at Horvark, noticing his expression.

Luna (curious) Is something wrong, Horvark?

Horvark: 😭

Luna's expression turns to one of concern as she sees Horvark looking upset. She puts a gentle hand on his arm.

Luna (soothingly) Hey, hey... what's the matter?

Horvark: i los a eye because of a human who i was about to scare i m a phrony and dumb.

The human mistaken my eye with a bullet....

😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Luna listens carefully as Horvark speaks, her expression showing both shock and sympathy. She takes in the news about the human mistaking his eye for a bullet, and the pain and self-doubt it's caused him.

Luna (softly) Oh, Horvark... I'm so sorry to hear that. You're not dumb or a phoney. Losing an eye doesn't make you weak or any less scary. You've just had an accident, that's all.

Horvark: for you is easy to say that look at me, look, how you want to date a monster with one eye

Luna takes a deep breath before responding, her voice soft and sincere.

Luna (gently) Horvark, it doesn't matter to me that you have one eye... I don't care about that. I care about who you are, as a monster. You're still the same Horvark - strong, brave and caring. And I still want to go on this date, okay?

Horvark; but how you are not reacting in a negative way

Luna smiles faintly, her eyes gentle as she looks at Horvark.

Luna (sincerely) Because it doesn't change how I feel about you. I care about you, not your appearance. Your eye doesn't define who you are, and it certainly doesn't change how I see you.

Horvark: but....

Luna puts a hand on his arm, her touch soft and reassuring.

Luna (firmly) No buts. I like you, Horvark, for who you are. And your eye being gone doesn't change any of that.

Horvark: ok.....

With Horvark's agreement, Luna and Horvark proceed with their date. They chat, laugh, and explore the secluded spot, enjoying each other's company and the romantic atmosphere.

Years later both got married, their blob egg got layed after 1 week.....

As time passes, Luna and Horvark's love for each other only grows stronger. They eventually get married, a happy and joyous occasion. Shortly afterwards, Luna lays their blob egg, a symbol of their love and a new beginning.

Horvark was now a molder farmer inside the city dump as monster.

While both parents were out having a walk.....

The blob egg shakes......i had pased 30 days...

The blob egg crack open showing a little monster hatchling holding his two eyes with his two hands

The blob egg shakes and cracks open, revealing a small monster hatchling who has just hatched. The hatchling looks around with wide, curious eyes, still clutching its two eyes in its tiny hands.

Meanwhile, Luna and Horvark are out taking a walk together, blissfully unaware that their blob egg has hatched.

The hatchling makes soft, sweet cooing sounds as it moves in the remains of the shell, still grasping its eyes. It looks around, its small, fuzzy body writhing slightly as it adjusts to life outside of the egg.

The parents return

Luna and Horvark return from their walk, strolling along comfortably and chatting with each other. They stop in their tracks as they see the blob egg has hatched and the hatchling is there, blinking its big eyes at them.

The hatchling made sounds

The hatchling continues making small, soft sounds as it wobbles around, occasionally dropping its eyes as it tries to move. It looks up at Luna and Horvark, its expression curious and innocent.

The hatchling stare at his mother

The hatchling's gaze fixates on Luna, its big eyes meeting her with a mixture of wonder and familiarity. It babbles and coos, its small arms reaching up towards her as if yearning for comfort and warmth.

Luna gazes back at the hatchling, her expression filled with a mix of awe and tenderness. She gently picks up the hatchling, cradling it in her free arm holding her eyes with the other hand as she looks down at it lovingly.

Horvark steps closer, peering down at the hatchling in Luna's arms. He looks at the tiny being, his expression soft and proud.

Horvark (gently) It's a boy... Our son.

The hatchling babbles and coos again, his small arms flailing as he gazes up at his parents. He seems content in Luna's arms, his big eyes observing them both with an innocent curiosity.

Luna strokes the hatchling gently, her voice soft and soothing.

Luna (gently) He's so perfect... Look at him, Horvark. We made such a tiny, wonderful little being.

Horvark smiles warmly, his gaze fixed on the hatchling.

Horvark (softly) He really is... He's got your eyes, you know?

Luna chuckles softly, gently rocking the hatchling in her arms.

Luna (jokingly) Well, he certainly didn't inherit my height, that's for sure. Look at how small and cute he is.

The hatchling lets out a small yawn, his little mouth opening wide and revealing a tiny pink tongue. His eyes flutter a bit, the exhaustion of hatching starting to take its toll on him.

Seeing the hatchling yawn, Luna smiles softly.

Luna (gently) I think he's getting tired... He needs some rest after hatching, I'd imagine.

Both named their son Krumm

Both Luna and Horvark agree on a name for their son, settling on the name Krumm. The little hatchling responds to his name with a soft coo, as if recognizing it as his own.

Luna looks down at Krumm with a warm smile.

Luna (gently) We're so glad you're with us now, Krumm. You're going to be the perfect addition to our family. We're going to take care of you and watch you grow up strong and healthy.

Horvark turns his gaze towards Krumm, his tone lighthearted but with a hint of seriousness.

Horvark (gently) Listen up, Krumm. Don't end up like me - losing an eye and looking like a complete fool. You got it? Be careful and make better decisions than your old man, alright?
