the thing is, if Bruce plays his cards right, he could get all of his kids in leadership and/or hereditary positions in all of the major superhero, vigilante, and business organizations in the world.
Damian - Head of the League of Assassins, hereditary title from his Mother and/or Grandfather.
Dick - Leader of the Titans, and then potentially the Justice League later. Head of WE’s fundraising arm briefly. Possible option for a politically appointed GCPD or BHPD position.
Tim - takes over as Leader of the Titans when Dick moves into the JL. Head of Wayne Industries/Enterprises/Etc. Influential person to Kon-El and Lex Luthor, by proxy.
Jason - Leader of various Gotham underground organizations, crime syndicates, anywhere in the Underworld that’s useful to Bruce.
“grid dad” look fernando is at best a weird uncle figure to bortoleto, what seb and charles had was adulterous and nico would make george cry if they were in the same room for more than 5 minutes
i always advocate against it but woke up thinking about nitta having a lil baby post canon and ,,, she just brings them to school and they legit soak in jujutsu society since early ,,, she's always felt some disconnect because her parents were never around much and never particularly cared to dive deep about jujutsu - until studying in kyoto she was more well versed about how it's dealt with overseas. but her baby gets to grow up in a tight knit community of great sorcerers and ??? it's so nice regardless of what they will be in the future. also yes the baby is a menace just like her, i just know
“(…)There was an American sitting behind Jane and me—such a romantic-looking man, with coal-black hair and eyes. Josie Pye says he is a distinguished artist, and that her mother’s cousin in Boston is married to a man that used to go to school with him. Well, we heard him say—didn’t we, Jane?—’Who is that girl on the platform with the splendid Titian hair? She has a face I should like to paint.’ There now, Anne. But what does Titian hair mean?”
— Anne of Green Gables, Lucy Maud Montgomery
A(nother) modern AU (you know, the kind I loathe so wholly), except in place of an American painter, a ‘famous’ American photographer comes to the White Sands Hotel for this concert. After Anne’s moving Noyes ‘the Highwayman’ recital, he seeks her out and asks her if she’s ever been ‘shot’ before (he wants to, and he tells Marilla this is a paid gig when she scoffs)… his sunflower compliment is yes, of course, about her Titan hair, but he also adds that her face is ‘high fashion/old money’ – which gets an unexpected ironic laugh from the orphan of two very poor teachers. The payment associated with Anne being photographed is too generous to sensibly say no to, even if Marilla is worried of the impact on Anne’s vanity, and two months afterwards, Anne is offered a contract with one of the biggest agencies in the States… Ford (😅) models. Over the next four years, her success grants her all the necessary funds for a B.A. from Redmond… without relying on burdening Marilla’s ‘slim purse.’
"Red hair is very fashionable now," said Anne, trying to smile, but speaking rather coldly. Life had developed in her a sense of humor which helped her over many difficulties; but as yet nothing had availed to steel her against a reference to her hair.
"So it is--so it is," conceded Mrs. Harmon. "There's no telling what queer freaks fashion will take.”
There are a lot of big personalities in our family, and because of the way that we interact with each other - and the fact that the girls are beautiful, the little ones are adorable, and my husband is an Olympic champion - there was this perfect storm, where I think you kind of wanted to watch and go, 'Wow, what's happening with this family?'
Hello! If it's okay, can I ask you for some advice? I was recently fired from my job after missing too many days...my Crohn's was flaring up and accommodation wasn't enough. There also was a change in management and I could tell they wanted to be rid of me. I was there for 7 years and I don't know what to say on future applications when asked about my employment history, like am I allowed to lie? Or how do I spin it in a different direction, it was my first job and I guess I'm just scared for the future if that makes sense. I understand if you don't answer this, but thank you for reading and sorry for the long ask. I'm a longtime follower and your blog, or rather you, are so lovely; I hope that only good things come your way. 💞💞
😞im so sorry to hear you got fired anon. i actually read this to my mom who's a manager who does hiring at her job and got her opinion as well. she said when asked just say that you left due to complications change in management bc essentially everything was fine until management came and its best to paint it in the most neutral light bc u wanna use those 7 years of work experience but just in case new jobs call the old job you don't want to have a totally different story.
and what *i* would recommend is to 100000% use that job on your resume bc you stayed a good long time and employers love to see that. if you can for references from that job if possible use the names of managers that you worked with BEFORE the ones that fired you. bc theyll obviously have better things to say!!!!! and idk if this will help you any but askamanager blog has really helped me figure out how to play the employment game a lot better and she has some articles on navigating making the best out of being fired when you're moving forward so maybe this will help?
no matter what you end up doing ill be hoping praying manifesting that you'll find an even better position that caters to your needssssssssssss 😣💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖and thank you SO much for the well wishes may we BOTH have nothing but good things in the futureeeeeeeeeeeeee mwah mwah mwah
