Hello! We bring to you the most comprehensive archive of MTSims3-Cakestore /ChiSims CC we could scrounge from the Internet! MTSims-Cakestore was a website that housed many works from creators, particularly Chinese, for The Sims 2, 3, and 4. Their website ceased to exist around 2019, thereby taking down many amazing CC from creators such as LemonLeaf, Qingshuang Tongzi, Moirae, Twilight, and more. Many files are still missing, so we would greatly appreciate your help in locating them and adding them to the backup! There's Sims 3 CC, especially Asian-style, for Create-a-Sim, Build/Buy, and more! A comprehensive MTSims - Cakestore / Chisims archive for The Sims 2, specifically!

(For The Sims 3: click here)! The design of both M&T-Sims posts are similar because I made both of them, and I also took cues from my Sims 3 images.

I spent the past few hours gathering and organizing MTSims2 files from various sources, including backups, foreign sites, and SimsCave! I had also found a few more files floating around on the Internet that have not been archived yet, mostly Sims and makeup, plus some poseboxes.

This is my first Sims 2 backup; the rest have been for The Sims 3! Part of my motivation was for the future, when I might play The Sims 2, and would want to use some CC.

The "3D Models" folder is how the section was how the section was named and displayed on the website. I believe it is a set of clothes and hair/accessories meant to represent various characters!

The "Missing" folder is NOT YET COMPLETE! I got too tired going through the website, as I had already spent hours making the folder...

I put any collection files and recolors I could find into the .zip/.rar file of whatever CC they correspond to.

Outros Deuses e Seus Epítetos - As Moiras

Continuando nossa série de posts descrevendo características e culto dos amados Imortais, seguimos adiante com um trio de divindades honoráveis e importantíssimas: As Moiras - Ou seja, Láquesis, Cloto e Atropos, as Deusas do destino.

Por vezes descritas como filhas de Zeus, o Rei dos Deuses e Têmis, Deusa das leis divinas, outrora descritas como filhas de Nix, a Noite, as poderosas Moiras regem o destino de cada criatura, assinalando suas porções dos devidos fios da vida de cada um. Representadas como três mulheres maduras portando instrumentos de fiandeira, as Deusas usam seu tear e decidem quanto cada mortal há de viver.

É dito que os desígnios das Moiras são inescapáveis, mas que elas não interferem diretamente nas escolhas tomadas no caminho dos mortais. Sendo Deusas ligadas ao nascimento e a morte de todos os seres vivos, as Moiras contavam com a companhia de Ilítia, a Deusa do nascimento e as Eumênides, Deusas da punição.

Os mitos que narram o destino inescapável de muitos heróis, como Orestes e Agamemnôn, descrevem a influência das Moiras em suas desventuras. Outros mitos descrevem como as Deusas do destino prolongaram ou restauraram a vida daqueles que tiveram sua vida roubada, como o príncipe Pélops ou o rei Admeto, por influência de outros Deuses que os amavam (Poseidon para o primeiro, Apolo no caso do segundo.

Zeus, em seu aspecto de Zeus Moiragetes (O "líder do destino"), exerce influência sobre as decisões das três Moiras com seus desígnios. Apolo também conta com o epíteto Moiragetes, uma vez que seu poder profético consiste em também predizer o destino dos mortais.

Cultuadas em várias regiões da Grécia, as Moiras eram louvadas ao lado de deidades como Zeus e Apolo em Delfos, assim como tinham santuários em múltiplas regiões, como: Corinto, Esparta e Olímpia.

NOMES DAS DEUSAS Cloto (Κλωθω) - "Fiandeira" Láquesis (Λαχεσις) - "Dispensadora de porções" Atropos (Ατροπος) - "Irreprensível/Que não pode ser movida"

Percebamos que os nomes das três Moiras representam suas funções: Cloto fia, Láquesis mensura a porção da vida de cada mortal e Atropos corta o fio quando seu fim é alcançado.

EPÍTETOS DE CULTO

Clothês/Kataclothês (Κλωθω/Κατακλωθεσ) - "As fiandeiras", descreve a função representativa das Deusas em seu ofício. Diantaiai (Διανταιαι) - "Implacáveis", descreve a natureza decisiva dos desígnios das Deusas do destino. Theai Archaiai (Θεαι Αρχαιαι) - "Deusas Antigas", descreve seu caráter como Deusas anciãs. Diferindo da maioria das deidades helênicas, as Moiras tomavam aspectos antigos em suas representações. Diferentes versões dos mitos narram-nas como filhas de Nix, a Noite, o que as colocaria como entidades antiquíssimas, nascidas diversos éons antes dos Olimpianos.

As implacáveis Deusas do destino não têm um dia sagrado específico ou ritual associado, mas seu culto era parte da vida devocional dos antigos também.

O destino - ou seja, a porção alocada pelas Moiras referente a vida de cada um - é uma força narrativa muito bem representada em inúmeras peças helênicas antigas e um elemento relevante para discussão filosófica.

dear americans,

as a polish queer woman and human rights activist, i know exactly how you're feeling right now and what to expect from these elections. i lived through the 2015-2023 regime of pis, a right-wing populist party that divided families in the same way trump did. i’ve experienced the rise of fascism in poland, the influence of far-right parties like konfederacja, and their “santa’s little helpers”—ordo iuris, an ultra-conservative catholic organization (banned in many countries, mind you) that helped enforce a near-total abortion ban and runs anti-queer campaigns in public spaces. i supported the black protests in 2016 as a middle schooler when they first tried to ban abortion. as an adult, i actively participated in the 2020 women’s strike, running from police tear gas daily after they finally passed the ban. i supported friends who faced charges.

i’ve lived through intense homophobia in poland as a queer teen and adult. i survived the first pride march in my hometown, where far-right extremists threw stones and glass at us. i endured the anti-queer propaganda spread by the ruling party in state-owned media. i survived the “rainbow night,” poland’s own stonewall moment in summer 2020, when police arrested around 50 queer activists following the arrest of margo, a nonbinary activist. i survived the "lgbt-free zones," the targeted violence, the slurs from strangers on the street, and the protests i held against queerphobia. it was hard as fuck, but i survived.

but just because i survived, it doesn’t mean others did. many women died because of the abortion ban—marta, justyna, izabela, dorota, joanna, maria, and many others who didn’t survive pis’s draconian anti-abortion laws. milo, kacper, michał, zuzia (she was 12), wiktor, and other queer and trans kids and young adults took their own lives because of the relentless queerphobia.

despite all of this, our experience in poland can serve as a guide now. here are some tips for staying safe and how we, polish queers and women, organized under the regime:

safety first, always. if you know someone who’s had an abortion, no you don’t. if you know someone is trans, no you don’t. if you know people who help with safe abortions, no you don’t—at least not until you know it’s 100% safe to share. if you are queer or have had an abortion, only share this with people you trust fully. most importantly, not everyone has to be an activist just because they’re part of a minority. if it feels unsafe to share that you're queer, trans, etc., then don’t. it doesn’t make you any less queer.

use secure, encrypted messaging like signal for conversations on potentially risky topics, such as queerness, abortion, organizing counter-actions, protests—anything that might be used against you.

stay anonymous online. if you want to research or report something without surveillance, do not use regular internet. get a vpn (mullvad is affordable and reliable), download the tor browser (for both onion and standard links), and if you plan to whistleblow, consider using a riseup email account.

organize and build networks. community is everything now. support each other, foster independence, because your government won’t have your back. set up collectives, grassroots movements. create lists of trusted professionals—lawyers, doctors, etc.—who can offer support.

to lawyers and doctors: please consider pro-bono work. this is what got us through poland’s hardest times. your work will be needed now more than ever.

for protests or risky actions: always write a pro-bono lawyer’s number on your arm with a permanent marker.
