Hello! We bring to you the most comprehensive archive of MTSims3-Cakestore /ChiSims CC we could scrounge from the Internet! MTSims-Cakestore was a website that housed many works from creators, particularly Chinese, for The Sims 2, 3, and 4. Their website ceased to exist around 2019, thereby taking down many amazing CC from creators such as LemonLeaf, Qingshuang Tongzi, Moirae, Twilight, and more. Many files are still missing, so we would greatly appreciate your help in locating them and adding them to the backup! There's Sims 3 CC, especially Asian-style, for Create-a-Sim, Build/Buy, and more! A comprehensive MTSims - Cakestore / Chisims archive for The Sims 2, specifically!

(For The Sims 3: click here)! The design of both M&T-Sims posts are similar because I made both of them, and I also took cues from my Sims 3 images.

I spent the past few hours gathering and organizing MTSims2 files from various sources, including backups, foreign sites, and SimsCave! I had also found a few more files floating around on the Internet that have not been archived yet, mostly Sims and makeup, plus some poseboxes.

This is my first Sims 2 backup; the rest have been for The Sims 3! Part of my motivation was for the future, when I might play The Sims 2, and would want to use some CC.

The "3D Models" folder is how the section was how the section was named and displayed on the website. I believe it is a set of clothes and hair/accessories meant to represent various characters!

The "Missing" folder is NOT YET COMPLETE! I got too tired going through the website, as I had already spent hours making the folder...

I put any collection files and recolors I could find into the .zip/.rar file of whatever CC they correspond to.

Please do inform me if you have or find any files missing from the backup!

I recently had a WCIF about this mesh - it was a CASP edit of a mesh from MT-Cakestore, whose TOU prohibited including or editing their meshes. It kind of gaped on women because it was made for men, and had artifacts of the igal in CAS (but not in game), but back in the 2010s this was preferable to starting some kind of blood feud with a better creator.

Some of you who were around back then may have noticed the version in my game looked better:

That's because I made a version with the mesh included and edited, and secretly shared the link with anyone who spotted and asked about it.

MT-Cakestore has now been gone for years so I'm going to just upload the thing.

Then across the road from my electric plant is this very old lot I found, once again, over on MTS. It was originally called the 'Riverside Greenhouse,' so that gives you an idea of how old it is. Anyway, the original lot ended where the front sidewalk and parking area begins. I added that entire area and also placed a subway there too. Plus the bicycle rental area. I also redid all the flowerbeds, adding new plants and different lighting to fit in better with this town.

I also replaced all the deco plants and used harvestable plants instead. Then used bamboo to edge all the sidewalks, placed that chess table and made a tiny play area for the littles, and added the Asian deco I found from the old MT_Sims Cakestore. And it was done!

Then next door is the town stables where sims can go and ride horses. I have to admit, that when Pets came out and EA said there would be horses, I thought they were going to offer stables where sims could go and rent a horse for the day - like in real life. I should have known better. But it is what it is. Oh well.

Unfortunately, no. I used to have an account years ago, but lost the login. I don't have a chinese number to make a new one and I'm hesitant to pay for a temporary one. Ameriko has some cc in the cakestore archive here. I've tried to download some lots from sglynp, which likely contain some of that stuff, but a lot of the baidu links are dead. If I manage to get some stuff, I'll upload it in the mega folder.

a sims 2 lost media mystery? sounds right up my alley so i'm looking through old threads for a possible surviving download and we currently have only two possible leads, as zippy themselves have vanished from the web. First off, we have the hat version of this hair. i tried taking off the cap and like 75% of the hair is there, but a good amount the top part is bald. so for any of the more talented meshers out there, feel free to try and make your own reconstruction or smth like that. Now we have to look into our leads: It seems that the hairstyle might've once been available on mtsims-cakestore's (based on 1 mts thread) but the only thing i found through both this huge reupload and the internet archive pages only turned up a single sim who wore the hat version. another lead, 1 user on this specific thread claimed to have it (malice macabre). although it's been like 9 years and they probably don't have it, you never know. and also they've last logged in this year. so maybe contacting them could give us some possible answers? I wish i could say we have a direct lead, but we really don't. Curse zippy for not sharing this beautiful mesh, along with other rare unreleased stuff like all the unreleased nouk hair meshes. all lost because of inactive creators who were too shy to share. shame.

Every time I come across this image on pinterest, I’m amazed at how this “infamous” Zinny hair mesh still, to this day, was never shared publicly… kind of iconic ngl, but the hair is hella cute even in 2023 asdfgh,, lokwkey wish the mesh had surfaced someplace already lmao

DaisySims 3 / DS3 Archive

I have collected what I could from DaisySims3, with the help of @sideshowsnob!

For those who don't know, DS3 was a Chinese website like MTSims-Cakestore where Chinese creators could post links to their CC. Unfortunately, the original website went defunct some time ago, and while they had a Lofter site, many download pages were mysteriously missing and the rest were locked behind Baidu or VDisk. VDisk.. doesn't work and Baidu has been locked to anyone that isn't from Mainland China, unless you are able to obtain an account (attempting to sign up via the international site gives you the error that mentions not accepting accounts from Macau, Hong Kong, Taiwan, or other foreign countries; I don't remember the exact text, but it mentions those places specifically).

However, I have a Baidu account, so I have rounded up everything I could find, even if the creator included a backup Mediafire link. Many still had dead Baidu links, but for some items, I was able to find a reupload. I'm still missing a few items, though.
