"He was a person who had unending joy and optimism about the world. Princeton was actually a dream he and I came up with together. I think I've so fiercely held on to Princeton so that I could keep holding on to him. Land between two rivers. But if you don't accept me, I'll be okay because I can't lose him. He's always with me. But if you do happen to find a spot for me, I promise I won't take a second of it for granted because I'd be living that dream not just for me alone."

Ayo y’all there’s still things going on in Iran even if we- western people with no ties to Iran- hear nothing about it. People are dying very often in this movement against the government.
Stay as safe as possible, and keep fighting for freedom everywhere.

Urgent surgery needed to save Gaza teen’s leg
Mohammed is in a crisis situation, on which you can find more information under our “#mohammed al habil” tag.
Mohammed has been unable to attend his physical therapy due to lack of funds. The condition of his leg has deteriorated as a result.
Tumblr media
He now requires an urgent operation in order to save the function in his leg. Mohammed is only 18, and he is terrified of spending the rest of his life with only 1 usable leg.
The operation costs $4,000. Currently, Mohammed's campaign is at just over €17,000. This represents the total funds raised over time, not the funds currently avallable.
New temporary goal: €21,000 EUR
Need to raise: €3,712 EUR (about $3,828 USD)
Please help Mohammed save his leg!
NOTE: I am unable to effectively fundraise for Mohammed. We are urgently hoping for bloggers who will be able to devote time and attention to promoting his campaign. Please consider making a post for Mohammed to promote his campaign so he can save his leg!

God, Palestinians can't have anything

I've often seen this person's posts pop up, he's known for the number of cats he feeds, even before this, hence the username. The other day, I remember seeing that pic of him and that tiny little puppy on the beach and being cheered up by it. It's just so sad... they literally can't have anything.
If anyone wants to help this man, he has links for both an evacuation gofundme and PayPal to help feed the cats:

mohammed ben sulayem, a man who, in his own words, hates women who “believe they are smarter than men,” a man who has (“allegedly”) attempted to interfere with f1 race results by revoking penalties, a man who has fired members of the FIA’s audit committee for attempting to ask questions around what he does with the money raised from drivers’ fines, a man who (again, “allegedly”) uses those fines to pay people to vote for him in the FIA presidential election, a man who frequently fires FIA officials without required approval from the senate whenever they go against him in any way, a man who has tried to regulate drivers’ jewlery, underwear, language, speech, and essentially every aspect of their existence (despite making many of his own political statements, such as those he’s made about Donald Trump), a man who has blocked unanimous decisions made between the FIA & F1 for no apparent reasons other than personal gain, a man who frequently bends rules for certain circuits around fines and other regulations, and a man who changed FIA regulations so that he, alone, reviews ethics complaints as opposed to the senate..
yeah. THAT’s the guy trying to tell drivers they can’t express their opinions. THAT’s the guy telling them they can’t say anything he doesn’t like about anything he doesn’t agree with, once more a decision he’s made without proper review by other bodies involved, thus completely discarding FIA rules & regulations.
seems legit.

If you broke a bone or had a serious injury, did you have to do physical therapy? I know I did when I broke my wrist. For me, physical therapy was annoying and a little painful, but I was fortunate to be able to receive it.
Mohammed Al-Habil is not so fortunate.
While searching for firewood with his older brother Omar, Mohammed was bombed by the occupation. Omar, a young nurse whose wife was expecting a baby, was martyred. Mohammed received a severe leg wound that left him immobile. He spent months in the hospital, and lost all function in his left leg due to being unable to move it.
Mohammed was prescribed physical therapy, which medical staff in north Gaza continue to do their best to provide. But physical therapy can be very expensive, even in peacetime. For a family with no income due to an ongoing genocidal invasion, it is impossible to pay the required fees.
Without paying these fees, Mohammed will be unable to receive physical therapy. This means his leg will not heal properly, and his ability to walk may be impaired or destroyed for the rest of his life. It is very urgent that he receives this treatment!
He was prescribed therapy almost every day. Each session costs about $50 USD. That’s $50 USD EVERY DAY. This is an enormous burden for Mohammed, as it would be for any of us as well.
Any support you can provide will go toward helping Mohammed regain his mobility, and will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you❤️
NOTE:
the fundraiser is in EUR, but costs in Gaza are mostly paid in USD. The conversion rate is about $1 USD = €0.95 EUR.
So for example, if you want to send $20 USD, please donate €19 EUR. Additionally,
$5 USD = about €5 EUR
$10 USD = about €9.50 EUR
$20 USD = about €19 EUR
$50 USD = about €48 EUR
