I'm at a point in my life where romantic and smutty fanfictions make more sense than dating people.

in fanfictions, I don't have to deal with some grown ass adult making me feel bad for me wanting to spend time with them, humbling me, projecting their insecurities onto, or being pushy about sex. it's honestly sad that I haven't experienced real love & intimacy with anyone I've dated but I can experience that in a fanfiction.

I know I should hold out hope that I will meet someone who can have me feel butterflies & safe around them, but I'm pessimistic with my dating experiences so far.

Sorry if I'm not around much...

I am focusing on the editing of my modern romance and I have a few things to do at the house (like always) and I also have decided to take more frequent breaks, from my computer in general. I noticed the last two times I did it, my "creative juice" had been more steady.

I still have fun plans though. This thing about betar reading is exciting me non-stop. I love reading, my work had been for a long time about revising scientific articles, I love fantasy, sci-fi and so on. So why not put that all together? Également : Je peux aussi faire un "beta-reading/ une première lecture en français, donc ne pas hésiter ;)

The other things is about my modern romance. I am lacking some face claim (a lot) in my story. And I thought to myself, what better way to present my characters than telling you a bit about them and asking you, mutuals and followers, what face claim would fit the best?

As I am lacking a good library of face claim, I'll rely on you to suggest someone. After all, why not? It'll be fun to see how you perceive them and I'm sure we will find a good fit for each of my crew!

So here we are. I am editing steadily and I might even a bit of an excerpt to share soon!

A Shared and Loud Subtext Update

I realize I haven't been advertising this well, but I've been plugging away on what's shaping up to be a romance novel with original characters. It did rise out of a fic, but can be read with no background. I've just updated with chapter 5 and already plugging away on chapter 6.

Victor Lafayette just got the role of the lifetime, starring in popular showrunner Buddy Fields passion project. So why can't he shake a feeling that he doesn't deserve to be there?

As a lesbian who is attracted to soft, sensitive and maternal women I feel like that should be reciprocated both ways since we are both women but unfortunately I feel like femme lesbians and bi women are not attracted to my "softness" or stereotypical female personality. 🤔 strange since they claim to adore women.

I sometimes feel like I have to mold my personality and natural feminine traits into a masculine stereotype just to appeal to them. Just to find that balance that a relationship needs.

Its hard to find this online because pictures don't produce energy and it can make me seem like a different more femme image than what I am in real life with my masculine mannerisms...so many girls might right me off before getting to know me.

I don't want to over think this topic too much but I feel like this is relatable in lesbian dating and the reason why we all just rot in our rooms instead of taking the risk in meeting up.

I think many gay women crave that opposite more than I've seen with gay couples. Like some need that masc person to take control..but idk how to play that masculine role as a woman.

We judge too much instead of taking action. Let's let it be.
