Hatsune Miku × Rhythm Thief Livestream Has Been Found!

I am proud to announce that the "Hatsune Miku and Future Stars Project Mirai × Rhythm Thief: Sega's Super Popular Rhythm Games Special Collaboration Party!" live stream, once considered as lost media, has now been FOUND, courtesy of @latslain! It was broadcasted on Nico Nico Douga on March 7th, 2012, to promote both Sega games, with Project Mirai to release the following day and Rhythm Thief having been recently released. Subs will be added when I find the time to make them.

in other words, miume was around 25 or 26 when she first started her activities, and i’m flashed by that lol while i’m definitely not one of those people who are afraid of aging or think your life’s over by 30 (in fact, i’m looking forward to entering my 40s and 50s lel), i always felt like once i hit my 20s, it would be far too late for me to still learn vocaloid and idol choreographies or to get into uploading dance covers and similar, because everyone seemed to start out so young, with late teens by the latest isn’t ririri only like 16 righT NOW?? even though this has been some small secret ambition of mine ever since i saw them for the first time as a teeny tiny tween. so finding out that miume apparently uploaded her first video when she was older than me still, and got so succesful with it, keeping at it for eleven whole years, really lets me see this from another perspective again lol

The Mobage (and GaaS) industry in general is fucked. All mobage have this insane breakneck pace it feels like. They do it because they want you keep playing forever and constantly bombarding you with things to do (+ making sure progression is as SLOW AS POSSIBLE eat my whole ass genshin impact) to keep you playing and hopefully paying. Basically there was a study that showed players who played games longer were more likely to spend money on MTX and that's absolutely rotted the mobage/GaaS games. It's a nightmare honestly. If not for the fact that Otome games don't really have a super long daily gameplay loop I'd probably have completely washed my hands of mobage at this point. It's just not worth the energy.
