why does no one hang out with Misty she's the greatest friend ever - knows where to get the best waffles and scones, knows the best shops to buy gifts, know a lot about drugs and medicines obviously but also has an infinite storage of those drugs at any given time, has a dungeon for suspicious reason, will stalk you to see if you are safe, checks up on her friends, will babysit your dumbass kid at a moments notice, will snort cocaine so that you doesn't do that, knows a lot about law, can hide a dead body with precision, has a cute pet, will drop her work to come help you at any moment, doesn't hold grudges against her friends, will take possession of your things if you die, can present your case in a court !!!!! I have immense appreciation for Misty, publicly bringing up Shauna's inner turmoil for every single person among them to hear. Not everyone is indifferent to her struggle and it is in fact visible. Someone needed to push her in the direction of facing her pent up resentment and emotions...did not expect it to be Misty. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Something I think about all the time is how shocked and appalled Shauna was at the sight of blood, gore, and serious damage occurring to a human being just before the crash (Allie’s injury).

Thinking about how maybe the butcher role was unfairly pushed upon her just bc she may have been the only one “strong enough” to take it.

And how her teammates see her as this violent individual and judge her when she behaves that way as if they aren’t surviving off of and feeding into that behavior from her.

And how maybe that’s why she carved the the words “why couldn’t it be me?” Into her notebook after Nat becomes Antler Queen. After all she’d given up and put herself through, after all the sacrifices of her humanity, didn’t she deserve a little recognition?

A lot of people dislike the adult time line but I love watching hot milfs being awful and the actors in the show are far too good to not enjoy their scenes.

I am still side eyeing the writers for what happened with Lottie in episode 4 (especially with how Simone has been talking) and enjoying both timeline and the show doesn't mean that the writers can't do bullshit moves but I am gonna wait to see what they do with the cause of death and her last moments before I give my judgement on that choice.

I am well aware of what type of show Yellowjackets is and I have always had the idea that it will end with all of them dead at one point but knowing that doesn't exclude that I can find certain characters wasted. I still think that Lottie had so much potential to do more and it hurt like hell to see her go so early.

I have decided that few things in Yellowjackets will be as funny as Shauna (very much insane and a murderer) not wanting to leave her daughter (who threw guts and intestines at her classmates) alone with Lottie (a cult leader who just got out of the psych ward) so her logic was calling Misty (also insane and a LITERAL SERIAL KILLER) as a BABYSITTER.

i fear this might be controversial but i lowkey feel like having an adult timeline is restricting how far the show can go. like i wish it just them surviving and a flashback timeline where we could learn more about the characters lives and childhoods…
