Miqo March Day 2- Home

Home is where the heart is for G'enta, who never truly had much of a home after a point growing up. Her home is where her loved ones are, her half brother G'raha and her adopted siblings, Alphinaud and Alisaie.

Together, they can weather any storm.

01. INTRODUCTION

N'Vaeh Solari is a sun seeker miqote from the Nagxia. Just a child when the Empire attacked her village, leaving nothing but ashes in their wake. Due to her parents last act of love, a group of warriors managed to get several children into the jungle. After a long, arduous journey, they arrived in Gridania.

This is where Vaeh grew up, taking up the bow at a young age, and began to learn how to hunt and survive alongside the archers.

She's both my WOL but I also have nonWOL AUs in place for her as well. Since Nagxia was based off Vietnam, I decided to make Vaeh's origin there as well, since I'm Vietnamese.

Personality wise, Vaeh is optimistic and adventurous. I believe she could make friends with anyone, sharing her laughter and brightness with almost anyone she encounters. She's extremely resourceful and knows the cost of life. Given the opportunity at a better life, she tries not to waste it. She's trusting to a fault, constantly observing those around her, and very attune to other people's emotions.

She loves baking but is not a great cook. Romance books are her favorite and she can be found lounging in the sun or picking flowers. If she wasn't bounty hunting or doing WOL things (in either AU) she probably would start a florist shop & arrange flowers for people.

Though she was far too old to become a maiko, her father wished for her akin to a yamato nadeshiko and thus paid a hefty sum to provide her with the appropriate teachings, one of which involved learning art in all its forms. Kikyo was ( and currently is ) studying a variety of traditional instruments under the tutelage of one of Fusanosuke's high-ranking geishas. Despite being difficult at first, such practices evolved into becoming a beloved hobby, one which captures the attention of guests in her private garden, where her whimsical, and emotional melody, resonates into the air.

04. FREE DAY 🦋

Do you guys believe that sometimes bugs / birds / other creatures in the world are reincarnations of your ancestors or lost loved ones visiting you? I think that's what Vaeh believes for Monarch butterflies. When she arrived in Grid for the first time, two of them landed on the tip of her arrow as she was nocking it back. As if to say, she was safe & still being looked after.

Now, every time Vaeh sees them, she sees it as a sign of good luck. Or of growth & hope.
