Why are the Piglins the villains, the Nether Fortresses were run by other Mobs that are always hostile, long before Piglins were added.

Just make the Nether Fortresses an abandoned, corrupted remnant of a lost civilization:

Blazes can be amalgamations of souls that are aggressive because they’ve gone mad. Wither Sculls are skeletons being puppets around by the dark forces of the dimension.

Piglins are friendly at heart, but they’ve been attacked and raided by Herobrine in his Netherrack armor. That’s why you need to wear gold to earn their trust, he’d never stoop to gold armor.

Herobrine wants full control of the Nether so he can shape it in any way he wants. Including making giant mob farms, kidnapping villagers for a trading hall, and wreaking havoc mining for Netherrack.

Herobrine wants to kill the Enderdragon and take the End dimension too, so he’s terrorizing the overworld and looking for the forest mansion so he can get a totem of undying. Steve doesn’t know all of this at the start of the movie, but he’s trying to protect the villagers from raids and kidnappings.

Herobrine is too obsessed with reshaping the world of Minecraft and doesn’t respect the mobs living there. It was the same mindset that led to the ancient players being turned into mobs (Zombies, Skeletons, and Endermen). Endermen being the most haughty group of humans who never quite learned their lesson, so they still roam around stealing random blocks and getting angry when someone looks at their changed forms.

Steve and the protagonists are there to show how fun the world can be when you don’t have a big checklist you’re sprinting to finish, and just take your time enjoying the scenery.

They kill the dragon as a group, using the power of teamwork and everything they learned. Steve gets the dragon egg, which he’ll eventually raise and bring back to the End once it’s older.

Herobrine losing his eyes is him becoming a mob himself, unable to use the portal back to the human world. In the after credits some time has gone by and he’s begun to learn his lesson too, helping other humans who pass into the Minecraft world from a distance.

Also Technoblade was the king of the Piglins before he passed away. Steve’s able to re-earn good relations with the Piglins once they realize he and Herobrine are two different people, not one guy who turned traitor after the king passed.

so i wrote and posted this on my main half asleep og art @wolflyndraws here

he's got so many physical after effects with scars and skin damages but also mental: he's wild and completely feral. he lose himself, living outdoors. he hasn't had any contact with living, breathing being in a long, long time. even animals avoid him, leaving as soon as they see him. seeing him would scare anyone shitless, especially at first when the scars hasn't yet started to heal and the cuts on his face are gruesome and bloody. his body is one massive wound, it never stops hurting, driving him to madness. after a while, he slowly start to get better. his body starts to heal. his mind is still fissured but he gets more and more time as his old self. not totally back to himself, far from it, but he get more cognisant of what's happening around him and what he's doing. there's a point where he has to go back to a village to trade stuff. he doesn't trust anything not to hurt him and dislike the idea of letting anyone get close to him. needs must though, and after weighting up the pros and the cons, he goes to one nearby. he's not careful the first time around and the few people that saw his face expressed shock and disgust. they could not look at him without horror in their eyes and repugnance etched on their face. he honestly didn't think about what he would look like to others. he's been alone for so long at that point, and he avoid every reflective surface he has genuinely no idea what the torture left behind. but even without knowing, seeing other people reaction he can guess. ashamed, he runs away. but he can't stay hidden away forever, he still needs to trade. so he goes back, to another village. further away. clocked under a heavy, deep hooded, capelet. he's got no skin showing at all. and this time, interactions are easier. his voice is gruff, his vocal cords damaged. he hasn't spoken for a long time and the first few words he needs to utter are rough. he doesn't stay for long. he can't. so he makes the trips more often than he'd like too, just so he can spend as little time in here as he can at once. longer interactions makes him hyper aware and he nearly slip from the precarious balance that's his mental health. words goes around that one weird adventurer comes by, sometimes. taciturn and withdrawn, and in need of lots of personal space. and it attracts curiosity. everyone is eager to know who he is, where he's from and what he looks like. but Dream can't answer neither of those questions without people turning on him.

get some hoodies with a "bat wing" cut/style! when you raised or flap your arms, its like having wings!

wear a blanket or towel over your shoulder to feel like proper wings when you can!

wear skeleton hoodies/gloves/etc!

get some chewellery for biting stims or urges!

use a phantom themed minecraft kin!

use a mod that allows you to be different mobs, and play as a phantom!

decorate your room with minecraft themed decor! if you dont want to buy it, you can easily make things like minecraft glass by just taping some paper squares to your windows!

wear hats/beanies/hoodies/helmets during the day if youre worried about the sun!
