Nah because now I’m thinking about how sad the downfall of Enchantedmob is.

They were a HUGE part of my childhood. I would watch their Minecraft music videos all the time, especially during 2017-2020. Their Join Us For a Bite, Judgement, and Angel of the Stage videos are deeply rooted in my soul by this point. I would check their channel almost every day as a kid waiting for new music videos to come out. I’ve probably seen every FNAF fansong animation they’ve made at least 5 times now. Enchantedmob is a big reason why my childhood FNAF phase lasted as long as it did. They even introduced me to fucking League of Legends with their K/DA Pop/Stars video and sparked a year long LoL obsession 😭 Enchantedmob had such a massive influence on my childhood.

So it was so surprising and saddening to see where their content is now.

I remember in 2020 was when I was starting to fall off of my Enchantedmob hype just a little, but I still always checked for new videos. I was SO EXCITED because their Fly Away With Me video came out a few days before my 13th birthday and since I loved dragons I waited till my birthday morning to watch it. I even showed my mom I was so excited.

And I was even MORE excited when they dropped their first FNaF miniseries video. I was still in love with FNaF and oh my GOD did that excite me, I was so hyped to see where it would go, it reignited my love for their content… and then it devolved into the content farm it is today.

I was so confused because I remember their videos getting more random and nonsensical, at first it was just the weird turns the FNaF series episodes began to take, and then with those Among Us and Squid Game collabs I knew feeling something was off. I still held onto hope that they’d drop another banger fansong (especially with the new music Tryhardninja was dropping I absolutely loved his stuff at the time) but they just never did. I still kept checking for months but nothing changed, they were still uploading the nonsensical clickbaity crossovers. I was so disappointed in them, and I still am. The charm their videos used to have is just completely gone and I’m sad that kids today who were my age when I originally got into their content will only have this bullshit to grow up with instead.

I think a lot about the fact that Herobrine as a creepypasta initially was not malicious at all. Like literally he was just some guy who made very specific tunnels, cut leaves off trees and built pyramids in your world, all weird things but really not harmful. Like his worst crime was telling someone on a forum to fuck off when they kept talking about him. But then with time there's been all this additional detail added on like the redstone torches and traps and shrines and he's seemingly gotten more aggressive as an entity within writing and other media. Like he'll actively go out of his way to hinder the player in game or in some depictions irl in some way. All of this is to say I think the more we tried to figure out Herobrine and shit the more we pissed him off a little. Give the man some space I'm sure he's tired of the 12 year olds trying to summon him every other day.
