【History Note】

 In the Eastern Han Dynasty, officials were divided into civil officials(文官) and military officials (武官),and civil officials usually wore black robes and a cloth crown called "Jinxian Crown/進賢冠" on their heads.

The military officer (武官) is different from the civilian officer. They wear red robes and wear a crown call” Wubian DaGuan/Huben crown(武弁大冠 or 虎贲冠)”,These crown is characterized by always having two feathers on it

Message from Navy Captain speaking out about Navy Seals, defending the Trident:

Naval Special Warfare deserves to be trusted by the American people, and you deserve to know you can trust us.

What I stand to gain in this, I do not want. What I stand to lose, I desperately wish to keep. I lay it down willingly for them. I did not pick this battlefield. It was thrust upon me against my desire to avoid it altogether.

The war-weary lion wears fatigue upon his face. He gave much, and carries the scars of loss in his soul. Now tired, he is often content to sit back and curiously watch things that once aroused his anger. He learned to be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God (James 1:19).

But…one must never forget that he is still a lion. As CS Lewis once illustrated, “[of] ‘Course he isn’t safe. But he’s good.”

Since February 2022, I have followed the conventional wisdom to “trust the process.” But…at almost every step, the process has shown itself to be exceptionally untrustworthy. Truth has been concealed in the darkness, and a narrative has been allowed to perpetuate that drove an unjust bias against those that don’t deserve it.

Naval Special Warfare, our medical professionals, and my cadre deserve to be trusted by the American people. The process has done them an injustice. Nobody defended them, so I will be their voice. I see no other option before me. They served honorably with virtue. As their Commanding Officer, they gave me their trust, so I will fulfill that trust and will pay a high cost to do so.

The Trident has been mischaracterized until today. America is still producing patriots. Our organization takes those patriots and shapes them into world-class warriors of virtue, representative of the values we prescribe to. Our pipeline for SEALs/SWCCs sets that culture with excellence. Naval Special Warfare’s SEAL Teams and Special Boat Teams are precisely what our nation needs them to be for the potential conflict over the horizon.

The adversaries of truth made two strategic errors:

1. My family aligned ourselves with the author of truth years ago, and our God is everything He claims to be.

2. For the last 23 years, I have been taught to fight for principles and maneuver to contact. Truth is not the opponent - you can’t outflank it.

Like the lion, I am never out of the fight. I have engaged with Congress, which is committed to conducting an official inquiry. The press is a mechanism to help drive public interest in the truth.

Everything I do, I do it out of love for the Constitution, the United States Navy, the SEAL and SWCC Teams, my Teammates, and every single candidate that served under my command.

But the prime intention was to bring the Guantanamo Bay detention camp’s atrocity on the detainees by the US military. Well, it actually avoids those strong cruelties, and focuses the unusual relationship between a detainee and a woman guard. Limited cast, shot mostly in a single location with the budget of just one million USD, and an ordinary opening, but ended strong. I assumed a lot of things likely to happen while I was watching. Like Amy Cole (Kristen Stewart) was in undercover, to make detainees talk and collect the information. Because she was the only woman around, but as usual like most of the time I was wrong. It was so plain and filled with human emotions. I was strong and confident that they were just torturing the terrorists who deserved it. If you see it from the human perspective that was slightly a over-limit, only if you exclude their crimes. I just felt it was a propaganda to show US in a bad light. That is the reason it will not show terror strikes in the movie that committed by any of the detainee characters, but only the consequences they face. A Hollywood movie specially made to make feel good for the terrorists and those who support it. Okay, I agree, some were innocents. While fishing, a few other marine animals also gets trapped in the net as well, for that I feel sorry what happened to them. But 95% of them were heartless monsters. Everyone will have their own opinion on this film based on their religion, nationality or sympathetic for simply being a human, and everything are fair. 6/10

I never met my maternal Grandpa. But during Vietnam, he & his squad were placed on an island & told they were there to kill "the enemy". They said not to eat anything on the island they would do an air drop later on with supplies. There was a beached naval ship on the island. Two weeks went by without an air drop & no one was on the island except for them.

There was food on the ship. They ran out of rations & began eating the food on the ship, mostly canned. Eventually the military extracted them. Several years later my Grandpa died from organ complications & failure, not to mention extreme fatigue, muscular deterioration & extreme water weight while losing physical mass. He was in extreme agony near the end.

A few months after he died (mid-late 80s) two military officers showed up at my Grandma's house. They told her if she signed an NDA they would give her a settlement check & tell her the cause of my Grandpa's death. She signed the NDA. They told her the island he was on during Vietnam had been saturated with Agent Orange including the beached ship & they were studying the effects, including my Grandpa's death without his knowledge. They handed her the check for a few thousand dollars & left.
