There really is something about the way Supernatural writes younger siblings and how corruptible they are; it’s Sam with the demon blood, Abel and his love of Lucifer, Lucifer and the mark and his hatred He’ll even Chuck and his depression, his narcissistic low self esteem. They are never strong enough to fight the corruption on their own they always fall prey to it. And it is always the duty of the Elder to put them down when they do. To punish them

Cain kills Abel as his last act of love for his brother, Michael casts his beloved Brother into the recesses of hell in righteous fury, So many chances Dean was supposed to put Sam down to save the world it was woven into his blood, and Chuck…..Chuck turned Predator before he could become prey caged his sister before she could destroy him. Chick wrote these storylines into existence like he was scared scared of what his sister might have done. Scared that he would have deserved it. Every sibling is modeled on their relationship after all.

It’s why Sam and Dean fascinate him. Because Dean would burn the world to the ground before he ever took a knife to his brother. And maybe that’s what Chucks been looking for since the beginning to be loved so wholly corruption and all.

Listening to I don’t smoke by Mitski ( the live tree version ) and thinking about @sinnerzforsaintz ‘s Michael and my Lucifer and how Michale loves Lucifer so much it no longer love but hatred cause the opposite of love isn’t hatred but indifference and how these two are so obsessed with the other that no one is allowed to kill the other but them.

They are Morningstars and stars burn out together , they came in together and they will go out together , two burning stars creating a black hole to swallow the cruel universe whole .

Thinking about how much Michale hates Lucifer and how Lucifer underneath the fear of his brother just adores him and if it makes him happy he’ll let him kill him if it means they go out together and neither has to live in a world without the other cause that is more terrifying then falling itself .

What do you do when the reason for your existence /your anger/your love / your fear/ is no longer here ? Who are you without them to define you? Do you even want to know who are you are without them ?

Supernatural and First Sons. Something about duty and how it is enforced with violence, and love and it being dispensed as anger.

And how the second child is a victim to it all.

Something about how Chuck at the beginning of it all was a second child, victim to his older sisters love and anger. Imprisoned by the wants and desires she had about his life and the way he was allowed to live it.

The First Child is always right in the end, the second child should have listened, but they are weak corruptible and wrong. Chuck destroys the world, how could he think he could ever build it.

This is the story he has always written. It’s the only one he knows.

Happy AAPI Heritage Month!

In the Beloved Damnation discord we were talking a bit about drawing some characters in aapi cultural clothing and I couldn’t help but think about Michael and Lucifer as Ōhi’a and Lehua. Lovers who fell victim to the jealousy of volcano goddess Pele, but were transformed into the Ōhi’a tree and Lehua blossom so they can hold each other for eternity :’)

Rapheal: "Michael. Message from the Devildom."

Michael: "Yes Rapheal. What is it?"

Rapheal: *hands Michael a letter with the marked with the wax seal of the Demon King*

Michael: *reads the letter*

Michael: "So.... Unless we allow Mc to leave the celestial realm, the Devildom will declare war on us. And you are quite sure that they are all serious about this? About starting another war after a long period of peace, for a human soul?"

Rapheal: "I'm quite sure. Actually I'm suprised that they all had enough restraint to wait to send the letter."

Michael: *clearly deep in thought*

Michael: "I see."

Mc: "Told you they would start getting real antsy if I was kept here."

Mc: *in Michael's office, standing on the other side of his desk with arms crossed*

Michael: *holding his face in his hands*

Michael: "I should've known they'd do something like this."

Mc: "Yep, you should've. Anyways I'm gonna go be with my boys now. See ya."

Mc was immediately dog piled by their favorite demons upon their return to the Devildom and was not allowed to leave for a long while
