ive been listening to the count of monte cristo since *checks watch* fucking january bc this bitch is 52 hours long, and for the most part it’s been a lot of “wow this is funnier than i expected” and “here’s yet ANOTHER secret identity for my boy” and “everything really does get easier when youre rich doesnt it?” and “it’s a secret thing that might help us later ;)” but i just got through the part where dantes meets up with morrel’s children and they’re going on and on about how much they love and respect the “mysterious” man who helped them years ago and when dantes honest to god like. cant speak and blushes and gets teary-eyed and remembers the good about humanity. i felt that.

I... just had to google that. The shame.

To be honest, to me Vergil is the mightiest warrior to ever live. He is the alpha and omega, the darkslayer, my fierce and handsome demon king. He has won my heart...

... But he also has the capacity to lose to a wadded up piece of chewing gum (depending on the context and who is spitting it). I don't know anything about boko no hero academia but I know we can't let Vergil get too ahead of himself, and besides he has a reputation to uphold in tumblr polls after all - winning at losing.
