In the last two decades, there has been a growing body of literature on trans health in India. However, most research is limited to HIV/AIDS and primarily focuses on trans women. Studies on trans men or transmasculine identities and their healthcare needs and experiences in India have received little scholarly attention. Even globally, the literature on trans men’s health is relatively scant, with existing studies conducted mainly in Western countries. There exists a dearth of government data and statistics on trans men in India. The only attempt to enumerate the transgender population was made by the national census, which categorised them as ‘other.’ The census estimated 4,87,803 transgender people in India. However, several transgender activists have argued that this number is a considerable miscalculation and an inaccurate representation of the entire transgender community in India. Moreover, the lack of official data on trans men also risks under-allocating funds for much-needed welfare programmes. Moreover, trans men experience direct and indirect discrimination in healthcare settings. Such experiences include being asked invasive or inappropriate questions about their bodies, invalidating their gender identity via misgendering, deadnaming, and being denied healthcare or receiving low-quality care. Sometimes, it also includes physical mishandling and verbal harassment by the hospital staff and co-patients or not being allowed to enter certain hospital wards or spaces. [...] For many trans men, the family becomes the first space for mental and physical violence and outright rejection of their identity, with instances of forced heterosexual marriages or corrective rape. Vinay (name changed), a 30-year-old trans man from Punjab, says, “Family says ‘you’re ruining our reputation, get married, have one-two kids and then everything will be fine.’ They even use rape as a measure saying ‘you don’t know who you are, and when it happens, then you’ll know [your true sexual orientation].’” Many have to deal with uninformed healthcare providers unwilling to treat them because of their gender identity. Lack of knowledge amongst medical professionals and poor social understanding of trans men means that trans men often have to self-advocate and explain their health-related issues and gender identity to medical practitioners who constantly challenge or dismiss their identity. This self-advocacy and mental effort to explain or justify one’s gender identity and expression often leads to emotional exhaustion. Soham (name changed), a 24-year- old trans man from New Delhi, recounts his experience of going to a hospital, “The doctor came and shouted my dead name. There were a lot of people in the emergency room and I remember feeling numb for a second…He shouted, ‘Is this you? Yehi naam hai aapka?’ (‘Is this you? Is this your name?’)…Then he literally pointed at my chest and said your chest is so flat, do you have your periods? I was numb and I didn’t say anything. I didn’t get my medicine, I didn’t tell him my problem, I just went home and I locked myself in my room for a week.”
— I Didn’t Get My Medicine, And I Locked Myself In My Room For A Week (Trans Men Are Invisible in India's Healthcare) by Arushi Raj and Fatima Juned

I just saw dou updated your Header and I dont know anything about it so what is Bloodywood about?
OH MY DAYS okay so!! Bloodywood isn't a tv show or anything, they're an Indian Folk Metal band from New Delhi, and they're awesome. Their music is absolutely amazing, but they're also really nice guys who sing about stuff that's really important - like mental health and depression, sexual assault, poverty, corrupt politics, bullying, and grief and loss. And they put their money where their mouth is too, and donate a lot of their earnings to charity, which is genuinely just...really REALLY cool. I think the lyrics that Raoul raps in the song Chakh Le really sums them up well:
No blame, no shame and no more games The potential of the privileged unleashed and untamed I came for the cash, stayed for fame but pay attention, Cuz I ain't gonna use it the same!
Anyway, I highly recommend them. I'm so in love with the way they incorporate traditional instruments into their music - they've got a dhol player, Sarthak, who is on a lot of the tracks, and the founder of the band, Karan, plays guitar and flute, and augh his flute solos genuinely make me want to cry, they're so gorgeous. The two vocalists, Raoul and Jayant, are INSANELY talented, and then the drummer and the bassist are just fantastic too.
ANYWAY go listen to them!!

It is winter in delhi. Short days and somehow, shorter nights. My internship keeps me occupied the whole day. I'll have to use my evenings and night as ably as I can.
Since the new week has stared, some short-term goals I aim to achieve within the end of the week are:-
1. I started working on a blog a couple days ago. I am about halfway done. I need to finish this up and submit it for review in another 3 days.
2. I need to start working on the arbitral award competition I signed up for. I have read through the problem factsheet and I found it to be really interesting. I need to do the groundwork for this.
3. I desperately need to apply for internships. I need to do my 6th semester summer internship at a tier-1 firm and I need to do everything I can to ensure I'm on track for this. I need to send out at least 3 more applications for this.
Currently reading: Blue Sisters by Coco Mellors
I am looking to start another non fiction book meanwhile. Please give me recommendations if you have any. I don't read self help or books about mental health but every other kind works!

Ulcerative colitis is an inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that causes long-lasting inflammation and ulcers (sores) in your digestive tract. Ulcerative colitis affects the innermost lining of your large intestine (colon) and rectum. Symptoms usually develop over time, rather than suddenly.
Ulcerative colitis can be debilitating and can sometimes lead to life-threatening complications. While it has no known cure, treatment can greatly reduce signs and symptoms of the disease and even bring about long-term remission.
Symptoms
Ulcerative colitis symptoms can vary, depending on the severity of inflammation and where it occurs. Signs and symptoms may include:
• Diarrhea, often with blood or pus
• Abdominal pain and cramping
• Rectal pain
• Rectal bleeding — passing small amount of blood with stool
• Urgency to defecate
• Inability to defecate despite urgency
• Weight loss
• Fatigue
• Fever
• In children, failure to grow
Most people with ulcerative colitis have mild to moderate symptoms. The course of ulcerative colitis may vary, with some people having long periods of remission.
Types
Doctors often classify ulcerative colitis according to its location. Types of ulcerative colitis include:
• Ulcerative proctitis: Inflammation is confined to the area closest to the anus (rectum), and rectal bleeding may be the only sign of the disease. This form of ulcerative colitis tends to be the mildest.
• Proctosigmoiditis: Inflammation involves the rectum and sigmoid colon (lower end of the colon). Signs and symptoms include bloody diarrhea, abdominal cramps and pain, and an inability to move the bowels in spite of the urge to do so (tenesmus).
• Left-sided colitis: Inflammation extends from the rectum up through the sigmoid and descending colon. Signs and symptoms include bloody diarrhea, abdominal cramping and pain on the left side, and unintended weight loss.
• Pancolitis: Pancolitis often affects the entire colon and causes bouts of bloody diarrhea that may be severe, abdominal cramps and pain, fatigue, and significant weight loss.
• Acute severe ulcerative colitis: This rare form of colitis affects the entire c

it’s a dog eat dog world, and SAMEER SIDDIQUI has to learn how to bare their teeth without letting the cameras flashes catch anything other than a smile. with a face like SHAH RUKH KHAN, the world wants nothing from HIM except all that HE has to offer. tw for maternal mortality, death, grief, drug use/addiction, mental health issues
tl;dr local area failson fails upwards because all that money has formed a safety net so high up that failure was quite literally made impossible — and he knows this not for a lack of trying, either, so fuck it, he might as well enjoy the show! aka kendall roy but if logan roy was a good father
let’s get one thing out of the way: you never really wanted this. then again, you never really wanted anything: you, who wanted for nothing ever since you were a child, silver-spoon scion of a politician’s lovelorn grief. you reminded him of his loss, and he treasured you for it, this persistent yet foolish hope that who we love persists in some form long after they are gone. you never knew your loss, poor child, and he never taught it to you either: your father, so loving yet so unwise, so caring yet so reckless. in his desire to make your world softer, he has made a monster out of you.
but we’re getting ahead of ourselves, aren’t we? you were a child, and you wanted like a child, and you felt things as deeply yet as fleetingly as a child only ever could. you made your father fire three nannies in a row, then didn’t speak to him for all of two days because the new nanny couldn’t make chiru dosa in a way you like. so then your first nanny was recalled, but you didn’t want to see your new nanny cry — and so your father decrees: then you shall have two.
that was your life: your father bending to your will, always ever to your will. he was so attuned to your state of being that he knew what you wanted before you yourself did, buying you your first wicket and bat, your first horse, then — when you got greedy, as children often are — a cricket team, a stable, a polo franchise… on and on and on the list goes, until there is so much love that you are drowning in it, so much stuff, so much money, so much of everything, everything, every—
what happens to a child who is never taught no? you never once learn: there is a limit one can go, and one day you’ll brush up against it, and you have to understand that the safest course of action is to turn back around.
yet here, now, a list of fuck-ups: a wrecked car, an accidental overdose, two, another wrecked car, a wrecked room and a wrecked house, a party where everything goes wrong and the police gets called and there’s an ambulance and you’re in the middle of a psychotic episode and you start to think this is it but then — no, your father makes a few calls and it’s all wiped clean and you realise this is it.
somewhere in the fucked-up breaking-down grey matter of your brain, something rewires. this is it. gets shifted: this is it. when you check out of the hospital, your father doesn’t even berate you, only says everything is taken care of. which makes your brain break again because you realise that this is it. this is you. nothing changes; nothing passes: everything lies still in perfect equilibrium, where you will never want for anything, not even success, not even failure, not even evolution, nothing but perfect voidness of conditions.
you had ambitions, when you were a child: cricket, mainly, then polo — but anything sports-related is too much work to juggle with your continued drug dependence, so you take the path of least resistance. you remember, once, the way people clapped at your so-so performance in the school play. you don’t delude yourself, of course. people clapped and cheered when you presented yourself in the roll call because they knew your dad was there but — that didn’t matter. you liked the attention. you liked the clapping and the cheers and all eyes on you like you’re a man just like you’re father. so: bollywood it is.
your father pays for it, obviously. if you had any scruples, you might have been ashamed, but there are no scruples because there are no limits. because this is it we’re talking about here. and so you get one role you did shit in, another where you’re kind of so-so, then another where you’re passable and — wonder of wonders — some roles where you discover that you’re actually good.
and so this is what life is, and so this is what life has become: an accident of meaninglessness where you planned for none of it, and yet you’ve made a miracle out of it. an interviewer once asks you what do you credit for your success? and you laughed at their faces. credit? you asked. what the fuck are you talking about? this is all me, baby. i’m it.
WANTED CONNECTIONS.
if you see this, i’m still in the process of cooking em up so let us simply go w vibes for now

Exploring the Intricacies of Psychology: Unraveling the Human Mind
What is Psychology (Introduction):- Psychology, the scientific study of the human mind and behavior, offers a captivating exploration into the depths of our thoughts, emotions, and actions. With its roots dating back
to ancient civilizations, psychology has evolved into a multifaceted discipline that encompasses various subfields and approaches. This article aims to shed light on the fundamental
concepts, theories, and applications within psychology, highlighting its significance in understanding ourselves and others.
The Foundational Principles of Psychology At its core, psychology seeks to uncover the intricacies of the human mind and behavior. It delves into various foundational principles that form the bedrock of this discipline. One
such principle is the nature versus nurture debate, which explores the influence of genetics versus environmental factors in shaping who we are. Additionally, the concept of
consciousness and the exploration of its different states, including sleep and dreams, provide insights into the functioning of our minds.
Understanding Human Development Developmental psychology focuses on the changes that occur throughout a person's lifespan, from infancy to old age. It investigates the cognitive, social, and emotional processes
that shape human growth. Key theories such as Jean Piaget's cognitive development theory and Erik Erikson's psychosocial stages provide frameworks for understanding how
individuals evolve and face various challenges at different life stages.
The Workings of the Mind: Cognitive Psychology Cognitive psychology examines mental processes such as perception, memory, attention, language, and problem-solving. This branch of psychology explores how individuals
acquire, process, and store information, unraveling the mysteries of human cognition. The study of cognitive biases and heuristics reveals the fascinating ways our thinking can
sometimes deviate from rationality.
The Intricacies of Emotions and Motivation Emotions and motivation play significant roles in shaping human behavior. Psychologists investigate the complex interplay between emotions, motivation, and behavior to
understand how individuals respond to different stimuli and situations. The theories of emotion, including James-Lange and Cannon-Bard, offer diverse perspectives on the
physiological and psychological aspects of emotional experiences.
Applying Psychology in Real-World Contexts Psychology extends beyond theory and research; it finds practical applications in various fields. Clinical psychology focuses on diagnosing and treating mental health disorders,
while counseling psychology helps individuals cope with life challenges and improve their well-being. Additionally, industrial-organizational psychology contributes to enhancing
workplace productivity and employee satisfaction.
The Future of Psychology As our understanding of the human mind continues to evolve, so too does the field of psychology. Advancements in technology, such as neuroimaging and artificial intelligence,
provide new avenues for research and exploration. Additionally, emerging subfields like positive psychology and cultural psychology expand our understanding of well-being and
the impact of culture on human behavior.
Conclusion Psychology encompasses a vast and fascinating realm that unlocks the secrets of the human mind. It explores our cognition, emotions, motivations, and behaviors, shedding light
on what it means to be human. Through the lens of psychology, we gain insights into ourselves and others, fostering empathy, personal growth, and improved relationships. As the
field continues to evolve, psychology will undoubtedly shape our understanding of the mind and help address the challenges we face in our increasingly complex world.

when he finished university , he went and worked for the same company his father worked for. he worked there for three years before he had to get out of there and get some distance from his family. while he'd been at university , he'd gotten over the despise for his sister , but being so close to his family was driving him up the wall. he started his own company , building websites and applications for large businesses and began making a name for himself. soon , he was getting offers from google , facebook , twitter. he worked for google for a while , but eventually was drawn back to his own business. wallet overflowed and he was often found among the hollywood elite.
then , he met someone who genuinely inspired him. he'd made applications and websites before , mostly for others , though some of his own and they all had decent success. meeting juliette arias , hearing her story , falling in love , it gave him purpose. he created onlyfans in 2021 , creating it for the purpose of providing a safe space for creators of all content to be paid for their work and have safeguarding in place. from the minute he created the website , he knew what people would use it for , though he marketed it as a website for all kinds of creators to show their craft and get paid fairly. he's gotten quite a bit of heat since and been catapulted into stardom , showing up in talk shows , podcasts , interviews and even being invited for cameos in films and red carpets. with the money rolling in ... he'll take it happily.
