i've always just headcannoned that Stiles has keys, passkeys and codes to everyones stuff. you have a house key, car key, or something needing a code? Stiles has several copies on himself and hidden elsewhere.

like this dude has sticky fingers, and eyes everywhere. he's got the ability to get it into the sheriff's station, the school, hospital and vet. like if it's a mildly important place or is just slightly interesting, chances are high; he's got a key and code to get in

every time they try to change codes or keys, he has copies made a day later. no one is safe. no one.

people try to complain to the Sheriff, in the hopes he'll be able to stop him

he tells them all to suck it up.

while Stiles is the light of his life, he's also a feral gremlin,

the sheriff has been trying to keep him out of his stuff since he could walk

stiles also 100% has house and car keys to all of the pack

it drives argent insane that he can't keep him out

they've tried changing their stuff

it doesn't work

he also somehow got their passwords

A week had passed since the two alphas disappeared. Stiles was getting worried and so are the pups. Chris and Peter were the ones keeping them occupied and feeding them lies on the two alphas whereabouts. Their phones were off. None of the pack members can contact the two. It's definitely getting on Stiles nerves every single day that the two are gone.

One afternoon, the pups were busy with rough housing outside their backyard when the two alphas finally showed their faces.

Stiles: That took longer than it should.

Derek: Stiles...

Stiles: No it's fine. It's not as if you left for two weeks without any way to contact you...

Derek: Stiles please...

It took a while before all of the Hale Pack was inside the house and occupied the living room. Stiles was still in the kitchen but his ears still work. He could still hear whatever Derek and Duke have to say from where he is. The pups sat around the available space the living room could offer. Even Melissa and the Sheriff have to figure out where to sit but opted to stand instead while they wait for Duke and Derek.

Sheriff: So what is this all about? Why is my son so mad at both of you?

Peter: I think I should start this conversation.

Peter explained what happened before the two Alphas left. He and Stiles conclusion on who Derek's father is till they left for two weeks.

Melissa: Well it does explain a lot of things but where have you guys been? None of us could contact you.

Deucalion: We went to get a paternity test.

Sheriff: Oh damn...

Liam: What's the result?

Deucalion: *looks at Peter*

Peter: *immediate realization*
