Melissa Talmadge Cox Melissa Talmadge Cox is not only Buster Keaton's granddaughter, but she is also a talented artist and a member of the board of director of the International Buster Keaton Society Inc. She always surprises us with the way she generously shares her memories of "Grandpa Buster," and we are delighted to welcome her back

This needs more exploring...but I won't conjecture out of respect for Melissa Talmadge-Cox, Natalie's granddaughter...who is a massive resource for BK fans and who has taken the torch from Eleanor to promote BK, but she also loves her grandma Natalie. I think they did love each other very much, but didn't know how to make a marriage work and both were very young...

So I just found this article and it just blew me away. How could you not write love letters? Send pictures? And then she’s like oh and he went to war…um that’s when he needed letters the most! For goodness sake, I have a blog dedicated for my love of this man…I just can’t….I don’t get it.

#WoodlandHillsWednesday We sadly discovered last week, thanks to Mark Keaton, Buster Keaton’s Grand-Nephew, that the Woodland Hills home Buster shared with third wife, Eleanor Keaton, was demolished. The couple were able to purchase the ranch style home after Buster sold the rights to his life story, for what turned out to be a mostly inaccurate biopic, ‘The Buster Keaton Story’, 1957, starring Donald O’Connor.
Buster spent his final happy years in this Hollywood Haven, with visits from family & friends.  It was home to many pets, it had it’s own little orchard, a miniature school house for the ladies (his chickens) & a model railway hot dog delivery service for guests. It’s a piece of history we can now only visit in memory, photographs & the scant footage of it that exists.
