Top 17 Most Mysterious Nakshatras
Purva Bhadrapada: The Dark Magician. Natives' boiling energy and their curiosity about the other worlds make them extreme in their spiritual practices. Depending on their level of maturity, they can fall into harsh malevolent practices. Natives usually have a lot of occult knowledge and most importantly, they can contact otherworldly entities, especially the aliens. They are connected to graveyards and some saints.
Ardra: The Ascetic Monk. Natives' power lies in their intense emotions. Their emotions can make them so tough they can ignore physical pain. They are healers, hermits. They tap into the energy of nature, mostly mountains and forests. They can predict the weather, they are able to bring rain. They can perform extreme spiritual practices.
Ashlesha: The Hypnotic Witch Queen. Sensitivity is natives' power. They can sense anything in their surroundings, hence a strong intuition. They can dive into the human soul and spot any weaknesses. They can read your mind. They are very magnetic. Natives should trust their Vastu/Feng Shui abilities and their healing skills.
Mula: The Exorcist. Natives have a strong root chakra, which makes them invincible. Thus, they are more sensitive to the telluric currents, the caves, the ruins and the ancient temples. They often deal with negative spirits and when they are well prepared, they can expel them. Natives are usually interested in the occult and they often do research in that field.
Shravana: The Wise Wizard. Natives' gift lies in their connection to the Source and their absorption ability. They can get glimpses of their past life memories, which help them in their current lifetime. For example, they can remember some bits of a language they used to speak in a previous life and use it in their job today. They can perceive guiding voices and see spirits. They easily sense their environment.
Shatabhisha: The Druid. Natives' mind is their strength. They are highly connected to nature, hence their healing abilities. They see things people do not: they are excellent at discovering occult secrets through many disciplines, such as medicine or astrology. They can invent new ways in their field, such as healing naturally. They can get involved in secret societies.
Jyeshtha: The Sorcerer King. Natives know the power of the occult too well. If they are scared of it, they cover themselves with protective talismans and do specific prayers. Or, if they do not, they perform strong rituals or they get involved in occult societies in order to gain power... But there is a price to pay.
Magha: The Archmage King. Natives' strength lies in their connection to their ancestors and their knowledge. They can dream of their ancestors and receive their messages. But because they can contact them, they can have out of body experiences, sometimes they can even have a near-death experience. Natives usually chase spiritual knowledge and occult powers and they end up mastering them very well.
Hasta: The Fortune Teller. Natives' power lies in their hands and words. They can be very good at palmistry, tarot card reading, healing (especially with hands)… Their mantras and spells are always highly effective.
Uttara Bhadrapada: The Mystic. Natives' strength lies in their connection to the atmosphere and clouds. That is why they are able to bring rain. They tap into rain and water's energy. Their spiritual practice is deep and their devotion to their Gods make them stronger... And threatening if they choose the wrong side.
Revati: The Psychic. Natives' power lies in their connection to the other worlds. They can have astral traveling experiences; they can contact the dead, the divinities; they can receive messages from beyond and become prophets.
Ashvini: The Healer. Natives' strength lies in their vitality and their connection to the other worlds. When they are in the medical field, they can perform miracles. They can discover secrets on life and immortality. They can be good at channeling spirits.
Bharani: The Ancient Patroness. Natives' power lies in their connection to the other worlds and their raw strength. They can connect to other planes and ghosts. Natives feel linked to the pyramids (in Egypt and/or from other places), some tombs of saints and the primordial feminine energy (shakti).
Purva Ashadha: The Regenerative Healer. Natives' strength lies in their incredible restoring vigor. Their energy is such that they can invigorate anyone around them, as well as crumbling activities. Natives do wonders with a pendulum.
Anuradha: The Seer. Natives’ power lies in their faculty to see and receive light as well as perseverance. In the deepest mud of people’s minds, using a coded chart, natives can find out people’s benevolent nature and their shameful secrets. Natives are hard working and patient. They keep so many secrets. That is why they can be very good at numerology, astrology and other occult sciences.
Dhanishta: The Element Master. Natives' strength lies in the natural elements and directions. They can become experts in Vastu or Feng Shui and fix a home. They are good in alchemy, reading pulses and other more spiritual practices.
Purva Phalguni: The Enchanted Fairy. Natives' power lies in their huge amount of luck. A problem happens, a native smiles and it is gone. They can be interested in the occult, usually the traditional knowledge, such as mantras, astrology, and palmistry.

What career suites you best based on destiny matrix? (part 1/3)
To find out what career suits you best and what can you do to succeed, we have to look at the number under the dollar sign.
1 - Magician
People with magician energy are very talented, ambitious and hardworking. They are early satisfied with mediocre results and salary. They always try for more and they have all the right tools to achieve all of their goals. Negative aspect of this energy is that people might lie and use other people to get benefits or they can spend their life wasting their talents by doing nothing.
The most suitable career:
tbh, they can do anything
Challenges that affect career:
laziness, hoping that everything will be figured out by itself
detachment from colleagues, lying
using people, being selfish
2 - High Priestess
People with high priestess energy are highly intuitive and may I say slow (they need more time to come up with a plan). A career that requires making fast decisions is not suitable for those people. On the contrary, they need a job that will allow them to move at a stable measured pace and use their intuition.
The most suitable career:
healer
psychologist, therapist
artist
Challenges that affect career:
avoiding conflicts
being afraid to show off your skills

beauty industry worker
Challenges that affect career:
pride, sense of superiority
power abuse
being overly materialistic
irrational spendings/hoarding
4 - Emperor

The most suitable career:
analyst
accountant
auditor
lawyer
policeman, soldier
CEO
Challenges that affect career:
being controlling, demanding
inability to find compromises

I gotta talk about this moment even though it's been discussed a million times
Zuko, opening up to someone about his scar for the first time (from what we’ve seen in the show at least, but we can reasonably assume he hasn’t spoken about it like this since he got it) and explicitly stating that whilst he's always associated it with with failures ('the mark of the banished prince'), he's finally ready to take control and change his life for the better. And whilst he has accepted that he can never change his scar, it’s ok because he still has the power to change his destiny.
And despite this assurance, Katara, the healer, still jumps in and offers to heal it anyway, understanding that this is still a burden she could lift from him - 'What if you could be free of it?'
She knows it won't change his life in the same way taking control of his own destiny will, but still, it's like she can't help but try to ease his pain. Even if it's a pain that's long since become a permanent part of him, something that might seem surface level or cosmetic to others - 'It's a scar, it can't be healed.'
And then we have this
'I've been saving it for something important.'
This. Healing Zuko's scar. A wound that has, for all intents and purposes already healed and is not longer a threat to his life, but still burdens him emotionally. That has come to represent all of his trauma. This Katara considers important enough to use her limited and precious supply of spirit oasis water. In the middle of a war. In the middle of a dangerous journey to save the world in which she and her friends might be seriously injured at any time (including in this scene, where Ba sing se is literally under attack as they speak).
And if that weren't enough
'I don't know if it would work'
Now, I don't know the mechanics of spirit water in the atla universe, but it seems to be pretty heavily implied later in the episode when she uses the water to heal Aang, and for a moment thinks that it hasn't worked, that it's sort of a one-time deal.
Which means that she's willing to potentially waste the spirit water just on the off-chance that it might remove the scar. Which in the context of the wider story seems utterly insane.
But Katara thinks it's worth the risk.
And presented with this opportunity, this beautiful, selfless offer to ease his suffering, even on a purely physical, surface level, Zuko wordlessly submits, and lets her touch his scar.
Now, Katara doesn't know quite how significant this touch is (although she's very emotionally intuitive so I'm sure she has some inkling of the gravity of this action) but we do. We know that Zuko doesn't let anyone touch his scar, ever. So what this communicates to us as an audience is that Zuko is allowing himself, for the first time, to put his complete trust in someone. To be completely, 100% vulnerable with them.
And the moment of touch is all the more significant because, in many ways, it isn't even strictly necessary.
Katara's hands are empty, she isn't putting the spirit water to his face, to attempting to heal it here. And while I'd argue this touch could be a practical one - assessing the damage of the scar with her hands to see how to proceed before she uses the water - the moment after, right before they are interrupted, isn't one of practical, medical assessment, but of intimacy.
The way Zuko waits, patiently, eyes closed, and the way Katara pauses, just for a moment, doing what I can only describe as gazing at him, and that slow blink in the middle- Again, not examining his scar or reaching for the spirit water to begin, but just taking it all in.
It's so breathtakingly intimate and vulnerable - a point of connection between these two people who are supposedly so completely different but are, here, somehow so alike in their openness and understanding of one another.
That Katara offers to heal Zuko's scar even when he's said moments before that he's made his peace with the fact that he's never be free of it. And the way he accepts her offer without words because she's right, part of him does want to be free of it.
It's just an absolute masterclass in creating an immediate and powerful connection and bond between two characters in an incredibly short space of time from a start point of complete opposition without rushing it or making it seem implausible.
#I don't know how to end this is just needed to talk about this scene#they really send me into a feral frenzy#because how could this not be endgame when this scene exists???#anyway#zutara#Zuko x Katara#zutara meta#zutara analysis#my meta#atla#avatar the last airbender#my gifs

Medic:
Summary: Reader is a Jedi medic in a clone wars battle. She loses a young patient and has a traumatic time. Anakin comforts her.
Warnings: None, violence, blood.
Word Count: 1,690
You weren't often deployed into battle, you had barely finished your training. But, you supposed, the Jedi were fairly short-staffed at the moment.
You never wanted to be a soldier, had always struggled with wielding your saber, but your intuition with the force was undoubtable, so you had been taken in as a student, and studied to be a medic. What the masters saw in you was a meditative, quick learning mind. And it was true. So you were not suited to the war.
Desperate times however, brought desperate measures. While the troops had gone on the offensive, you had been tasked with setting up the hospital area near the sheltered back of a cave. Not many of you healers were available for this particular conflict, it was a surprise attack by the Separatists, you had barely stopped for the past two days, planning and prepping in a state of emergency. Now that you were here, all you could do was wait for the bodies to come pouring in. Bloodied, burned, dismembered. It wasn’t that you were faint of heart, you knew what you were getting into when you took on this position under Master Che, but the extent of the fighting, the amount of death was overwhelming you.
The anxiety of war was not one which you enjoyed. Especially not when he was out there fighting too.
Anakin was unaware that you had been called up to this particular battle. So he fought and led the fray as he normally would. Cutting down all in his way with a fury and determination which made him indestructible. Or so he liked to think. That was how the two of you had met. A posting at the hospital wing on Coruscant had bought you into his path. He was practically a regular, always getting himself injured in the most ridiculous and reckless ways. Burns from playing with speeder mechanics, from an overenthusiastic lightsaber duel with students twice his age. Large cuts and scrapes from jumping off things, or climbing things, or through things. And each time he would come in with a smile, sit down and let you do what you needed to do. Make you laugh with his stories, entertaining you endlessly and distracting you from your real work.
That was at the beginning, before things got serious with the war.
When it broke out, when the attacks started, he came to you, broken, and not just physically. You patched him up and the two of you found solace in each other. One bright spark in an increasingly dark world.
The sound of explosions and shouts reached you and you shook with anticipation, wiping your sweaty hands on your apron. Then the bodies started to roll in.
It wasn't long before the tent was filled with the wounded and dying. The smell of blood and burning flesh filled your nostrils, making your stomach churn. But you didn't have time to be sick. You had to keep working. You took a deep breath and composed yourself. You had been trained for this, and you knew exactly what to do.
When you saw this patient, you sprung into action. It was a young Padawan, younger even than yourself, with deep burns all over his body. You could feel his pain through the Force, and it only intensified when he saw you approach him. You could sense his fear, his uncertainty, and his desperation for help. You knew exactly what to do. Or you thought you did. Using the Force to steady your hands and calm the Padawan's nerves, you worked with precision, cleaning up his wound so that you could get a good view, then get him stabilised. But then he started convulsing violently. It was all over, and you didn't even get a moment to dwell before you were pushed off of him by your Master, it was useless, the boy had died. You were sent off to help somebody else, so you filed it away for later.
As the night wore on, the wounded continued to pour in, and you worked tirelessly to save as many lives as you could. Blood and sweat mingled on your forehead as you struggled to keep up with the constant flow of patients.
You were jolted out of your thoughts by the sound of someone calling your name. It was Anakin, his face twisted in pain. You rushed to his side, using the Force to assess his injuries. He had a deep cut across his abdomen, and it was bleeding profusely.
You didn't hesitate, you got to work immediately. You used the Force to steady your hands and focused all your energy on healing him. You ripped open his robes without thought or shame, didn't even register a word he said. It was as if time slowed down as you worked, your mind and body working in perfect harmony as you stitched him up. Anakin's pain slowly began to subside, and he looked up at you gratefully. But you didn’t dare to look him in the eye. You couldn’t.
The fighting didn’t start to die down unto the dawn broke and it was forever before you were finished. Finally you were able to excuse yourself, you made your way into the bathroom, desperate for a moment alone, a moment to breathe.
But the universe was not so kind. For the second time that day you heard a familiar voice calling your name. It was Anakin, battered and bruised but alive. He had clearly gone back out into the fight after you patched him up, but that was hours ago. Since then he had acquired an injury on his wrist, which someone else must have bandaged for him. Or perhaps he did it himself... It was roughly done with a part of his sleeve, that man...
He looked so concerned, so panicked by you as you turned around. With urgency he gripped at your arms, "Y/N, what happened to you? Who did this? I thought you would be staying in here, safe!"
"What?" You ask, tired and bewildered by his sudden energy. He was still looking at you in horror so you look down too. You understood his confusion then, you were covered in blood.
It wasn't even a splattering, it was like you had been dipped in it.
You looked at your own hands, they were shaking and trembling. The sight of the blood, the smell of it, were overwhelming you. You felt like you were going to be sick. You had been so busy helping others that you had forgotten to take care of yourself. You had forgotten to eat or drink anything, forgotten to rest. You had been running on adrenaline for hours, and now it was catching up to you. You felt weak and dizzy, and you knew you needed to sit down before you collapsed.
"None of it's mine, I..." Anakin helped you through an alcove, to rocky outcrop for you to sit and knelt down in front of you, gripping your hands and squeezing, trying to keep you in this reality. He could see the exhaustion and trauma in your eyes. He wondered at whoever had cleared you for this mission. He had been battle-worn since he was a child but you... You weren't meant to this, he was supposed to protect you.
He sat next to you, his arm around your shoulders, and held you close. You leaned into him, feeling safe and protected in his embrace. You closed your eyes and focused on your breathing, feeling the tension slowly leaving your body.
After a few minutes of him wiping your hair off your face and whispering things in your ear you were calmed, turning to kiss him of the cheek.
"I'm sorry. I should be better at this by now."
He shook his head, unable to conjure the words. You take his silence for understanding and unconsciously start to play with his fingers, reminding yourself of his injury. Without a word you undo his make-shift bandage and sigh deeply at him.
"This needs stitches."
"I know, I was going to worry about it later."
You smile at him in a way which conveys your affection, your concern, your love, all at once. And he lets you stand.
You reach into the pocket of your apron, quite a feat with the dried blood, and mercifully your personal medi-kit was in a usable condition.
The sight of his blood didn't phase you, this, at least, was familiar. Anakin watched you intently, his eyes soft and tender.
"There was a Padawan earlier. Maybe you knew him? Young, dark hair…" You question him,
"I know. I saw him get caught up in a shell. And in the hospital. I can't remember his name. You saved so many lives today.” His hand comes to cup your cheek.
You nod, still silent.
He could feel the weight of your exhaustion and it made his heart ache. He leant forward, and with an unfamiliarly determined want he said; "If I could, I'd make sure nobody died. I would stop it if I had the power. I would stop everything."
"Well you can't."
"Why can't I?"
"Don't be ridiculous, it doesn't help. No one can control that, no one can control death." Your own words were your solution and the weight of the boys death lifted slightly.
Anakin paused his thoughts when he saw you relax. He knew that he would never be as strong and capable as you were, never so wise. He would always need you by his side to reign in the part of him that wanted those things. You, who had so much care for the world around you yet did not try to control it, so neither should he.
You finished wrapping his hand and held it up to your lips for a kiss.
"Thank you," he whispered.
You smiled at him, feeling your heart swell with love and affection for him. You knew that you couldn't do this without him, that he was your rock in times of trouble. You felt grateful for his presence, for his love, for his strength.

It's Just This Once
Chapter 1
Hey everyone! This is my first post. This work is finished but I will be uploading the chapters weekly. (I don't really know how Tumblr works so if y'all have suggestions or tips let me know)
Pairing: Bucky x Reader
Warnings: Not many. Bucky and his PTSD, my life choices to write this, nightmares, Bucky's regret and self hatred. Idk. There's not even language in this thing its mostly fluff.
Summary: Y/N is an Avenger, she has healing powers and uses them to patch up the rest of the team. Bucky never asks her to use her healing powers on him, except once.
Chapter Word Count: 1,912
Chapter 1: Take the Pain Away
Y/N was working in her little corner of the medical wing of the newly built Avengers Compound. All was right in her little world, well as right as her world could be since reappearing after a five year absence.
Everyone was trying their hardest to go back to normal but adapting to a life without Steve, Tony, and Natasha was far from it. Shortly before Tony and Steve's fallout, Y/N was recruited by Fury to join the Avengers Initiative. He had somehow figured out she was an enhanced and convinced her to join the team. She had hid her abilities so well in the past she had no idea how a man she had never met before found out about them. Y/N had the extraordinary ability to heal others, it had taken an insane amount of time, energy, and focus to master her powers. With the help of Wanda she had also been able to unlock another talent. She had intuition that was insanely on point so she could guide her teammates on their missions. Natasha had taught her some martial arts moves and Steve taught her how to protect herself in a fight. Y/N soon became part of the family and finally found a place where she belonged, but after a few billion people came back from nothingness, her family seemed to narrow down. She had fought in the battle against Thanos and tried, had really tried, to heal Tony with her powers but in the end it wasn't enough. She couldn't help but feel a little responsible for his death. When the battle was over and Steve left to be with the love of his life, he left so many friends behind. If Y/N couldn't heal Tony's physical wounds, maybe she could heal the emotional wounds he and Steve left behind.
Shortly after the battle she became close with the remaining Avengers. She helped guide Sam on missions as the new Captain America, she comforted Wanda after her little outburst in Westview, she even got to know Bucky a bit more. Sam had convinced him to live at the new Compound with him instead of being alone in an old apartment in Brooklyn. Every so often Sam and Bucky would limp into the med bay in need of healing. She had healed Sam several times and Wanda a few but never Bucky. He always said she shouldn't waist her energy on him, and she always replied with, "It's no trouble at all, it doesn't take that much energy." Bucky would brush it off and say his advanced healing would take care of his injuries in no time. She never really pushed it, considering what he's been through with people messing with his body, it didn't surprise her when he didn't want to be helped.
Today was nothing unusual when Sam came into the med bay with an arm around Bucky and the other around his side. Y/N hopped up from the seat at her desk and began walking to the two men.
"What did you do this time?"
"This idiot took a bullet for me." Bucky spoke up as he helped Sam into a bed.
"Hey don't be mad at me for saving your life." Sam snapped back. He was taking off part of his uniform so Y/N could assess the injury properly.
"I have better healing than you, I would have been just fine." Bucky countered.
"I'll be fine! I have the best healer in the world right here, right doc?" Sam shot a quick smirk at Y/N as she started to heal him. A light purple glow emitted from her hands as she closed the wound on Sam's torso.
"Just because I can heal you in seconds doesn't mean you can be reckless."
Sam's smirk faded as Bucky gave a short "Ha" in victory. Y/N noticed Bucky was holding his left arm with his right and had a few bruises on his face.
"I could always heal you too Bucky if you need it."
"It's fine doll, these bruises will be gone in a couple hours." He said as he gestured to his face. Y/N turned her attention back to Sam as she finished up her work.
"All done." She said as she removed her hands. "Go clean up, Wanda and I are making dinner soon."
She grabbed a cloth and wiped some of the blood off her hands.
"You're the best doc. " Sam gave her a quick hug and headed out with Bucky. As they left she saw how tight the muscles in Bucky's were. With all of the experience Y/N had with healing people, she was able to see how much he was hurting. It could just be the stress of the mission so she didn't think much of it.
Later that evening while Y/N was cooking with Wanda, she once again noticed Bucky. At this point she couldn't tell if it was just stress or flat out pain. Sam was tapping away at his laptop sending a report on the mission to Fury. He didn't seem to notice the tight expression Bucky was wearing. Bucky was absentmindedly rubbing his left shoulder where metal met flesh, he looked exhausted.
"You good Buck?"
He glanced up at her removing his hand from his shoulder and said,
"Yeah, I'm fine. " with a half hearted smile.
She hoped that a warm meal would help. Y/N loved to cook, especially with Wanda, she loved seeing people's faces when they ate the food she made. Pretty much everyone else was away from the compound so it was just the four of them. Wanda had suggested they make soup since Autumn came out of nowhere and settled in New York. They set the table and listened to Sam talk about the mission he and Bucky had just endured. Bucky let Sam do all the talking for once and kept quite happily enjoying the warm food. The creases in his features slowly melted away as he finished the soup. Once the story was finished and the dining room was cleaned up, everyone said their goodnights and started off to their rooms, all expect Y/N.
"You're not going to sleep?" Wanda had asked when she saw Y/N going towards the elevator instead of her room.
"I have some work left to finish since I was so rudely interrupted earlier." She had turned her head to Sam with a smile.
"Hey don't come at me." He said with his hands up in a surrendering gesture as he walked to his room.
She gave a small laugh, "Goodnight guys."
Y/N headed down to her lab and picked up where she left off. She was running some lab work on some blood samples when she heard thunder shake the building. It startled her enough for her to nearly drop her test tube. Soon after she heard rain begin to pound on the walls of the Compound. She glanced at the clock as it struck 1:00 am.
"Just a little longer." She whispered as she resumed her work.
Bucky was sitting in his bed when he heard Thunder boom outside his window. He hadn't slept since coming to his room, too stressed from the mission and in too much pain. He knew the rain was coming, he felt it in his bones, but that didn't make it any less unsettling. He truly felt like an old man knowing rain was coming by the way his prosthetic arm felt. The mission had caused a few unpleasant memories to resurface and that made his mind uneasy. All of that combined together resulted in a dull headache and an unbearable amount of phantom pain in his left arm. His shoulder was throbbing and it felt as if he was being stabbed by a hundred needles where his metal arm occupied where his flesh should be. His breathing was laboured and heavy, he was so close to a panic attack it wasn't even funny. The weather hadn't helped either, it made him feel cold and achey. He tried so hard to keep it together but the pain became too much. He needed relief and there was one person he could think of to help. He hated the idea of Y/N using her healing powers on him when she could use them for something much more valuable. He didn't want to inconvenience her with his pain but it was becoming agonizing. He sat and thought it over for a few more minutes when he finally caved and made his way down to her lab. He stood at the door and sighed,
"It's just this once."
Y/N was just about finished when she heard a small knock at the lab entrance. She got up and walked towards the door, she wasn't expecting to see Bucky when she opened it. He stood with his hand clutching his metal shoulder, his hair was unkempt and he had bags under his eyes.
"Hey, I thought you went to bed. Is everything okay?"
"Uh, not really. I hate to ask you this, especially this late, but-"
Suddenly thunder echoed through the lab and Bucky squeezed his eyes shut and his breath began to shake, using his hand to add more pressure to his shoulder.
"My shoulder hurts, and my arm too kinda." He looked down not wanting to meet her eyes.
"Like phantom pain?" She questioned
"Y-yeah, it feels like pins and needles. The vibranium feels heavy."
"Are you asking me to help you?" She asked in disbelief.
"I-if you don't want to that's fine I can manage."
"No, no come in, sit down."
She led him to one of the beds and guided his hand off his shoulder, eager to work on the one person she hadn't helped.
He winced in pain as he moved, his hand letting up the pressure it was omitting on his upper arm.
"Sorry," she stepped back for a second, "I need you to take off your shirt." In the dimly lit lab she could see him blush a little. "It'll be better if I have direct contact to the skin."
He complied, slowly and painfully taking off his blue Henley. She walked around to the side of the bed to begin.
"I'm just going to put my hands on your shoulder, okay?"
He gave a very tight nod and she began. Her hands danced across the mess of scar tissue where metal crept into his skin. She couldn't help but felt bad for what Hydra did to him. His breath hitched but his back slowly became more relaxed. She could feel his heart rate slowing and his breath even out.
"I'm halfway done, are you okay? " she was concerned. She had never been able to do this for Bucky before and didn't know how he'd react.
"Mhmm." he seemed content.
She stopped and moved to his front to place her hands on his collar bone. She tried not to make it too awkward by making eye contact but she glanced up anyway and met his blue eyes. They both quickly looked away and Y/N turned her attention back to his arm. She stopped when she felt she couldn't do anything more to help with the pain.
"Done, does that feel better?"
He immediately brought her in for a hug and whispered a quite,
"Thank you."
She hugged back happily,
"You're welcome."
It gets better I promise. It was originally a one shot but it evolved.

MY Least Favorite stereotypes of the Ilvermorny Houses
Pukwudgie:
I don’t like the idea that they carry around med-kits. That just stereotypes them way too much. It feels like it’s the older Pukwudgies giving tips to younger students on what herbs, teas, healing spells. Older students would also help with mental health exercises and how to deal with different triggers. Not all healers have to be in the medical field, maybe they are good at emotional healing, helping other students with their mental health because they understand their own mental struggles. It could be small things like reminding their friends to eat, take a break, drink some water. They are probably better emotionally healing because their house represents the heart. But just because they represent the heart doesn’t mean they won’t beat down anyone who threatens their loved ones. Ruled by the heart they follow emotion/feelings more than logic. They are protective, might have anger issues, and might even have a self-defensive or fight club. They probably know the signs of someone who is suicidal or on the verge of having a mental breakdown.
Wampus:
Most people think of them as the big dumb jocks who hit first and ask questions later, but this is not the case. The stereotype is that you might envision them with huge muscle and amazing at athletics. As J.K Rowling stated Jacob would be in the wampus house. Even though he is chubby, pudgy, not the fastest or the strongest. To be a warrior you need to be brave, but being brave doesn’t mean having no fears. They get knocked down all the time, and even though they are tired they keep trying. Because sometimes you fight not because you think you can win, but because you need to be able to look back later and say that you fought, and that you tried. There are different ways you can be a warrior; it doesn’t always mean you’re in combat. Sometimes being a warrior means to fight against your own doubts, insecurities, and demons that plague your soul.
Thunderbird:
Their whole stereotype is that they are restless wanderers, always looking for the next adventure to fulfill their high. But having the soul of an adventure can be interpreted in many ways. For most thunderbirds it can be trying out a new coffee shop down the street, doing to a local food festival within their own town. It doesn’t always have to mean you’re traveling across the world, spending money to do extravagant things. It could just be taking baby steps to expand their introverted lifestyle. It means having the simple courage to try new things and be open to new experiences. They are more like daydreamers who encourage each other to try different things without breaking boundaries. Thunderbirds are very Intune with their emotions are likely to trust their gut/intuition which leads to them exploring a different way of doing things. Many have the mindset to take what resonates and to leave the rest.
Horned Serpent:
Since their house favors scholars many think they are just stuck-up book worms which further from the case. They may not necessarily be studious, but they love to learn. Some of them might have some learning difficulties such (ADD, ADHD, dyslexia, math dyslexia). Others gifted burnout kids that still get great grades because they can hack the tests and guess well. Some of them might love learning but hate school because it adds unnecessary stress to their mental health. But they are eager to learn about different places, ideas, aspects and concepts. They want to learn by real world applications more than books, they want the freedom to make mistakes and instead of getting penalized they are able to learn and grow as a person, that way they can pass on their knowledge to others. Being a horned serpent, they are most likely to also be street smart as well as book smart and by Combining the two it helps them and those around them succeed.

Feminists who identity their deep centering Selves with the term witch are not being merely metaphorical, or cute, or popularizing, or "trivializing." I suggest, rather, that the reverse is true: that to limit the term to apply only to those who have esoteric knowledge of and participate formally in "the Craft" is the real reductionism. This is the case particularly since the cult, as Murray demonstrated (perhaps inadvertently), has been strongly invaded by patriarchal influences.
Together with Robin Morgan, who has done so much both to elicit in women the wide and deep intuition of the meaning of Witch and to resist simple vulgarization, I hope that more feminists will give to the study of witches “the serious study that it warrants, recognizing it as a part of our entombed history, a remnant of the Old Religion which pre-dated all patriarchal faiths and which was a Goddess-worshipping, matriarchal faith . . . [reading] the anthropological, religious, and mythographic studies on the subject.” Hopefully, in doing so we will not sacrifice the original vigor and integrity that inspired the "New York Covens" in the late sixties to proclaim:
“You are a Witch by saying aloud, "I am a Witch" three times, and thinking about that. You are a Witch by being female, untamed, angry, joyous, and immortal.”
Many women have understood this identity of the Witch within, the Self who is the target of the fathers' attacks and the center of original movement. Barbara Ehrenreich and Deirdre English did much to spread knowledge among women of the role of the witches as midwives and healers, showing that their suppression coincided with the creation of a new male medical profession. In the early seventies, Andrea Dworkin named the witchcraze for what it is: gynocide. She showed its interconnectedness with other horrors such as foot-binding, fairy tales, rape, and pornography. Others have searched out pieces of the mosaic which are not easy to find.
Such works should be valued for igniting the Spark which inflames the desire to search further. There is much to be done. Working with increased confidence and precision, Hags must continue in the spiritual tradition of such visionaries as Matilda Joslyn Gage, continuing to uncover our past and paths to our future. This will be possible to the degree that we continue with courage in the Journey of our own time/space. Seeing through the fraudulent re-presentations of the witchcraze will help us recognize the tactics of today's Male Midwives, the professional Wizards who have unsuccessfully "succeeded" the Wise Women—the Unhealers of Modern Medicine.

From Clairvoyance to Neuroscience: The Journey of Holistic Healing 🌈🧘♂️
Healing can seem like a vague, mystical concept to many. Is it just about feeling good, or does it hold deeper meanings? As a healer focused on clairvoyance and medical intuition, I believe that healing is about aligning your spiritual, physical, and emotional energies. When done right, it can lead to profound transformations—both in your personal life and professional endeavors. 🌻
What Does It Mean to Be a Healer? 🔮
The word "healer" is often associated with mystery, but in reality, it’s about connecting to energy. Whether you’re dealing with physical ailments, emotional blockages, or professional stagnation, the healing process begins by recognizing where imbalances lie. As a clairvoyant, I’m able to see these imbalances within your body, aura, and even your business.
For example, if you’re a business owner struggling with client relationships or feeling disconnected from your work, it could be due to energy blockages. By addressing these, you can not only improve your personal well-being but also elevate your professional success. 💼
Neuroscience and Spiritual Healing: A Dynamic Duo 🧠🔗
Here’s the part that excites me the most—bridging the gap between neuroscience and spiritual healing. Our brain plays a significant role in how we process emotions, handle stress, and make decisions. When we incorporate neuroscience into spiritual practices, we unlock a whole new dimension of healing.
I’m not interested in just talking about these concepts. I want you to experience them! Through ptic exercises, you’ll learn how to connect the dots between your mind and your spirit, making healing a more tangible, actionable process. ⚙️
What’s Next? 🚀
Whether you’re joining us live or watching the replay, this is your chance to fully immerse yourself in the healing journey. I encourage you to go beyond just listening—let’s get hands-on with exercises that will shift your energy and bring real, measurable transformation to your life and business.
Healing isn’t a one-time event; it’s an ongoing process of growth and discovery. So, are you ready to dive in and unlock your potential? Let's get started and take your healing journey to the next level. 🌟

Character Intro: Nosos (Kingdom of Ichor)
Nicknames- The Dark Plague by the people of Olympius
Crow by Aegle
Scrooge by Apate
Age- 38 (immortal)
Location- The Underworld
Personality- He's a quiet, intuitive, brilliant deity that has an infinity in all things morbid. He has keen interests in things many would consider strange- like death. He's currently seeing someone.
He has the standard abilities of a god except shapeshifting. As the god of illness, plague, & disease his other powers/abilities include pestilence manipulation, infertility manipulation, having supersonic eyesight, necrosis inducement, microbial communication, poison generation/manipulation (toxigenesis), and limited vitakinesis (healing).
Nosos is the eldest child of his parents Nyx (goddess of the night) & Erebus (god of darkness) as well as the eldest of his siblings Apate (goddess of fraud & deception), Keres (goddess of violent death), Arae (goddess of curses & hexes), Charon (Ferryman of the Underworld), Achlys (goddess of the death mist, poison, misery, & sadness), Thanatos (god of death), Hypnos (god of sleep), Nemesis (goddess of retribution), Hemera (goddess of the day), and Aether (god of the upper atmosphere, celestial bodies, & heavenly light).
He lives by himself in a reasonably sized Victorian style house built out of blackwood. Inside the color scheme is pale green, gray, brown, dark green, & black. The flooring is black marble while weeds and thorn branches decorate the windowsills. There are framed vintage medical art & diagrams as well as the heads of several taxidermied animals, including a dragon's skull. There's also wood and leather furniture & there's a constant smell of cleaning solution and rubbing alcohol.
Notable physical features include his long dreadlocs- which is always tied neatly away from his face and his flawless dark ochre skin.
Nosos has a few pets- three crows named Scar, Cloak, & Shadow as well as a hellhound named Ghost- due to his albino fur.
He's fluent in Latin.
Nosos is extremely knowledgeable about all diseases and illnesses that can affect any & all beings of the three realms.
He'll typically start out his day with a session of meditation before going out on a run with Ghost through Shadowstone Park. Nosos will feed his crows their meal of sliced grapes, pomegranate seeds, nightshade berries, and rat meat before leaving.
He and his parents used to be very close. They shared a lot of trauma during the rule of Kronos (Titan god of the harvest, time, & fate). His parents were part of the king's esteemed guardsmen while Nosos served on the council as the High Healer- a learned deity in histories, science, and medicine who provided counsel to as well as handling the health & wellbeing of the king.
Things were more than well during The Golden Age. Shortly after the birth of the king's son Aidoneus- who will later be known as Hades (god of the dead), Nosos started noticing unsettling behavior regarding Kronos. It began with halluccinations of his father Ouranos (primordial god of the sky), then his constant requests of essence of nightshade to help him sleep, followed by his growing maltreatment of his heir and wife Queen Rhea (Titaness of fertility, motherhood, & comfort). Nosos was even ordered to try the meals of the king because Kronos thought his food was at risk of being poisoned. Nosos searched through all available texts to find a cure for the king's mental afflictions- even traveling to the Underworld to seek counsel from it's ruler- Kronos' brother Krios (Titan god of stars & constellations), but he was met with a nonsensical rambling that included the statement, "There's a battle brewing in the stars."
Things only got worse when Kronos ordered all of his servants to be executed. Anytos (Titan god of anonymity & secrets) handled the hangings and beheadings at first while Nosos handled the cleaning of the bodies before they were sent off to the crematoriums. A cataclysmic wave of illness & disease soon plagued Titanius. Weeping sickness amongst the dryads, Blue Fever afflicting the beings of the Underwater realm, and no being (no matter where they lived) was able to escape the grasp of the Black Death- a bubonic plague pandemic that occured all throughout the realms (though the Underworld had the lowest rate of mortality).
Kronos became convinced that all these ailments were the fault of Nosos- that he was conspiring against him. The king ordered Nyx and Erebus to bring their son to him so that he could revoke his immortality before taking his head. Nosos & his parents escaped, where they hid out in the Underworld in the Tartarus region.
He wanted to prove his worth as a deity, so Nosos volunteered in the most well known battle of the Titanomachy- The Fall of Mt. Othrys. His parents participated in the battle too. Before he could actively participate, Nosos suffered a near catastrophic fall when a giant hurled a boulder at him. Any other being falling from such a height would've been killed instantly. Being an immortal deity, Nosos was seriously injured- breaking almost every single bone in his body. The new king of the liberated country/realm now known as Olympius presented him with an Imperial Gold body brace, crafted by the blacksmithing cyclopes. That moment was also when Nosos was introduced to the deity that would eventually become his mentor- Asclepius (god of medicine). When he was nearly healed, Zeus (god of the sky, thunder, & lightning) treated him to a night in a brothel- complete with a few whores dressed as wet nurses. He became enamoured with one that night- a mortal named Anatolia, but she was a married mother of two.
He was so ashamed and embarrased about his lack of conviction in the war that it was many years later that he gathered the courage to face his parents again (who made their permanent residence in the Underworld). By that point Nyx had given birth to three daughters- with her currently pregnant with Charon.
A typical breakfast for him are buttermilk biscuits spread with pomegranate and blackberry jam, burnt strips of bacon, slices of wheat toast topped with black butter, & an egg omelette (added with black olives, red pepper flakes, and spinach). He also likes a big bowl of Earthly Harvest raisin crunch cereal.
A go-to drink for him is an obituary cocktail- a drink made with gin, dry vermouth, & absinthe. He also likes ginger ale, earl grey tea, beer, mojitos, his homemade ash plum-spinach smoothies, nightshade berry juice, water, classic martinis, pomegranate wine, chocolate almondmilk, and dark & stormy cocktails. He doesn't like coffee.
As time went on, Nosos started pulling more and more away from his family till he moved out of the Mansion of Night. His youngest siblings are total strangers to him, but he is aware of them. Nosos feels forgotten, not by his siblings as so much his parents. He doesn't want to seem like a needy petulant child begging for his parents attention, so Nosos just keeps away. Every once in a while he'll stop by briefly for a few minutes while Erebus packs some leftovers for him. It does make him feel a bit better knowing that his parents still want to initiate contact with him- with their e-mails, phone messages, & invitations to family gatherings.
Nosos' sister Apate is one of the reasons he tolerates traveling out-of-realm. She doesn't put any pressure on him to be anything other than what he is and she doesn't believe in the heirarchy that exists among the deities. She even invited him on a night out to a club she was DJing in Crete. He managed the loud music and the sweaty beings through gritted teeth.
He sent Keres a bouquet of black dahlias & a handwritten note to congratulate her on the success of her film Blooddancer.
Nosos' main source of income comes from overseeing the Necrodegmon Institute of Morturary Science, the oldest & most well known mortuary school since Olympius was founded. It's located in the Underworld. He also examines the shades before their official placement. Nosos also models for The Black Label, the menswear brand of his friend Moros (god of doom).
Even though he holds no ill will towards Hades, Nosos does find it disrespectful that he wasn't offered a seat on The Dark Council.
His favorite dessert is his mom's nighshade berry baklava.
Nosos feels an unspoken kinship with not only Apate but with other deities that have been chewed up and spat out by pantheon like Rhea & his mentor. He was disgusted when he learned that Asclepius had his godly abilities stripped away as well as never being allowed to practice medicine again.
The mentor/mentee relationship has now shifted into a geniune friendship since Asclepius' punishment. Nosos will travel to New Olympus to see him at his cottage while they reminisce about the bad ol' times while sharing a blunt and drinking a few beers. They both commiserate on how alone they feel & are, especially since Asclepius' wife Epione (goddess of soothing pain) filed for legal separation and their two youngest kids still live in Kos with her. Nosos does feel guilty about keeping a certain secret from him.
Some of his favorite sweet treats include ash plum sorbet, dark chocolate almondmilk ice cream, and pomegranate sorbet.
After much self reflection, Nosos made the decision on his own to seek out therapy. While in New Olympus, he'll also go to his scheduled appointment with his therapist Pathos (god of emotion). He has walked out several times whenever his percieved failure at battle was brought up until he collasped emotionally- finally pouring out his heart to Pathos. Another topic of discussion has been Nosos' unsuccessful attempts at romantic relationships. He's now coming to terms regarding his actions of love bombing & getting attached quickly despite the other partner's feelings.
He used to date Paean (goddess of physicians) and Iaso (goddess of cures & remedies). Both relationships lasted a few weeks, with a pattern of Nosos pushing for commitment right from the start as well as constantly sending them unwanted gifts.
Now, Nosos' been seeing his mentor's younger sister Aegle (goddess of good health) for a while. He was instantly physically attracted to her when she stopped by for a visit. Wanting to break the cycle of his previous bad behavior, he acted cold and aloof towards her, but at the end of the day when Aegle was getting ready to leave, Nosos asked for her number. He invited her to his parents' ranch where they made out heavily in an empty stable. They slept together for the first time at his place. He likes the fact that Aegle doesn't see his failures when she looks at him. Nosos also enjoys hearing her laugh and catching the citrus scent of her hair. During a late night phone call she told him "I love you." He could only reply by saying "Oh" before hanging up.
In the pantheon Nosos is also friends with Lelantos (Lantos) (Titan god of air, the unseen, & hunting).
He's thinking about having Aegle as his plus one when he goes to the wedding of Moros and Oizys (goddess of anxiety, misery, & depression).
He enjoys listening to folk, rock, grunge, and classical music. Nosos has enjoyed every bit of music Moros has recorded thus far.
In his free time he enjoys watching TV (his go-to being science & medical documentaries as well as true crime shows), reading, taxidermy, sailing (along the River Lethe), hellhorse riding, and cooking.
Nosos' all time favorite meal is a spinach salad topped with black sesame seeds and pomegranate vinaigrette along with a beef and broccoli stew served with steamed brown rice. He also likes his mother's scorched chicken with beef patties & his dad's bourbon barbeque ribs. His favorite take out order is jjajangmyeon. There's a hole-in-the-wall place in the Underworld that makes the best!
"Death is the cure for all diseases."

Balance - A Spiritual Story
In this life and in this work I’ve definitely had to keep finding my center. To some degree we are each the center of our own universe, and certainly the center of our own universal truth as us. In the work I’ve often been given examples of the best for an individual, in metaphoric ways, as a manner of colorful illustration. This story is going to contain that type of metaphoric guidance for your creative enjoyment.
When some of the people closest to us in the world point their personal finger at us, it’s easy to be thrown off course, and believe others more than to go inward and find out what’s true for us from within, and this can be more than tricky. It can throw us off balance for days, weeks, months and even years. If we aren’t careful, we can devote a lifetime to help other people who matter to us, keep up their good opinion of us, and then we lose who we are and are then more invested in balancing our life based on staying in their good graces, rather than living in our mission of our own existence.
Unfortunately when individuals have done this over a whole lifetime, they complete their life in a small, undefined and unfinished way. It’s not balanced, because then we’ve left a room of our hearts, with the paints of our passion, completely naked, while we paint the rooms of everyone else’s desires in the colors they wish from us, and ours is left sad and neglected. We are responsible to paint our room, our life the colors of our soul and if we don’t, even if all the people around us have great rooms of wonderful colors, we will never be fully satisfied or know what it felt like to stand in and live in the room of our fullest expression, and to experience life in our own true colors.
I will continue to paint and color the rooms of my life story and I wish for you to find yours. They may change and need redoing over years, and sometimes there’s stripes, spots and patterns, and all is right if it brings you joy. Life is one big canvas for each of us to paint our balanced story on, in all its glorious color and design. Here you go, a nice big brush for you to be creative with, the only question is for you to answer what's going up on your wall of life right now?

What are Nakshatras and What is Their Importance in Astrology?
Understanding Nakshatras
Nakshatras, also known as lunar mansions, are a fundamental concept in Vedic astrology. Each Nakshatra is a unique 13°20′ segment of the ecliptic, through which the moon passes during its 27.3-day journey around the Earth. The moon spends approximately one day in each Nakshatra, influencing the daily dynamics of our lives. There are 27 Nakshatras in total, and each is divided into four parts called padas. These subdivisions are crucial in understanding the intricate details of astrological predictions and personal horoscopes. For those interested in deepening their knowledge, enrolling in a Nakshatra course online can provide valuable insights and comprehensive understanding of these celestial divisions.
The Significance of Nakshatras in Vedic Astrology
Nakshatras hold a pivotal role in Vedic astrology due to their profound influence on an individual’s personality, behavior, and destiny. They are considered more precise than zodiac signs, offering detailed insights into various aspects of life. Here are the key reasons why Nakshatras are vital:
Personality and Traits: Each Nakshatra is associated with specific traits, characteristics, and deities that govern them. These attributes shape an individual’s core nature and behavioral patterns.
Career and Profession: Nakshatras provide insights into the most suitable career paths and professional inclinations based on inherent strengths and weaknesses.
Relationships and Compatibility: They play a crucial role in determining compatibility in relationships, particularly in marriage, by analyzing the Nakshatras of both partners.
Health and Well-being: Certain Nakshatras are linked to specific health issues and can indicate potential medical concerns or strengths in one's constitution.

Oyuba'din - Chapter 18: Reconciliation
Summary: Jaine comes across an old friend, Commander Tano helps Hunter, and Tech and Crosshair have a heartfelt conversation.
Warnings: curse-related amnesia, anxiety, guilt, vague reference to childhood trauma
Author's Note: sorry this took soooooo long to come out! I was hoping to get back to a regular schedule, but my job proved to be a little more insane than previously thought 😅 but I’m hoping to have some chapters queued up and hoping I’ll be able to post every other Monday! Keep an eye out!
« Previous Chapter Next Chapter »
Jaine was breathing heavily as she scurried through the Temple halls. Everything looked the same as she remembered, but she wasn’t quite sure where she was even trying to go. She’d only been here twice, and it was so long ago.
She tried to listen for the Force, or her intuition, taking turns that felt somewhat random and unpredictable.
Suddenly, as though she weren’t in control of herself, she slowed to a stop. A set of towering doors before her, she pressed her hand against it.
Something about the hall in which she found herself felt familiar. She wasn’t sure she really recognized it, but she just knew she had been here before.
“Jainera? Oh, stars, it is you!”
Someone was watching her, curiosity evident in their eyes.
When Jaine looked up, and her eyes met the soft gray of someone she could have sworn she’d met before.
“Ah, I think maybe you’ve had another…mishap,” they said, smiling gently at Jaine’s confused expression. “It’s no matter; I can always reintroduce myself.”
They extended their hands, taking one of Jaine’s hands between them.
“You’re…you’re a Jedi Healer, right?” Jaine asked, the touch of them beginning to remind her.
“Yes!” they beamed. “My name is-”
“Khawa!” Jaine gasped, a grin forming across her face despite the way her head ached. “You helped me after I’d-”
“Yes,” Khawa smiled sadly. “I only wish I had been able to help you more back then.”
“Yeah, I’m sorry if I seemed stubborn or-”
“Oh! No, no, no! You were the perfect patient!”
“A side effect of being the daughter of a healer,” Jaine shrugged.
“Sure, between that and your clumsiness,” Khawa smirked.
Jaine gasped, falsely scandalized. “How dare you!”
The pair laughed together, the sound warming Jaine’s heart.
“Come with me,” Khawa said, giving Jaine a curious look. “It seems we have much to catch up on.”
-
“All due respect, sir, but are you sure she came this way?” Hunter asked, trailing the padawan nervously.
“Ease your mind, Sergeant,” Ahsoka said, waving him off. “I know the sensory dampeners caused you to lose her trail, but I read her records; I think I know where she went.”
Hunter stopped in his tracks. “The…what?”
“What, the sensory dampeners?” she looked back at him, stopping as well. “Didn’t you notice that your senses have dulled here?”
“Of course I did,” he mumbled defensively. “But I didn’t know such a thing was possible.”
Ahsoka hummed, turning back to continue leading him through the halls. “For those of us with sensitive senses, it can be very helpful.”
Hunter considered this. Races like the togruta and twi’lek were very sensitive to their surroundings, their lekku almost like antennae. He knew how it felt.
“What did you find in her record?” Hunter asked, his attention shifting back to Jaine.
“Considering it’s a sealed record in the library of the Jedi Order, it’s a bit classified,” Ahsoka chuckled.
“Anything you can tell me?”
“We’re headed to the medical bay.”
“Great.”
-
Khawa’s laughter echoed throughout the medical bay, and they wiped away a stray tear that leaked from their eye. “Did- did he really just pick you up like that?”
Jaine rolled her eyes, but couldn’t stop the fond smile that grew across her face. “Yep. Just hefted me over his shoulder like it was nothing.”
“Bet you hated that, huh?” Khawa nudged her arm, winking conspiratorially.
“Oh, no. No, not you too!” Jaine collapsed dramatically, her face to the small table between them.
“So Sinya thinks you have a thing for the sargeant too then,” they laughed.
“Yes,” she groaned.
Khawa gently patted the back of Jaine’s head. “Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but as long as you’re on Coruscant, Sinya will be trying to get you two to hook up.”
“I know,” she lamented. “It’s just not going to happen. And besides, I’m pretty sure he hates me.”
“Oh, I doubt that,” Khawa whispered, lightly tapping Jaine’s arm.
“See, I told you I knew where she’d be,” Commander Tano announced, and Jaine’s head shot upwards.
“Jaine,” Hunter breathed, his voice flooded with relief as he came to kneel next to her.
Khawa made a face at her - somewhere between amusement, satisfaction, and curiosity, before walking to the doorway where Ahsoka was still standing, the two beginning to chatter quietly to themselves.
Jaine knew her pulse was pounding, and that he could hear it, but she couldn’t calm herself; not when he was looking at her like that.
“Hunter-”
“Jaine, I swear to you that we’re all okay,” he breathed, his voice barely louder than a whisper, but filled to the brim with emotion. “You certainly surprised us, but you didn’t hurt us.”
“I burned Crosshair! I threw you and Echo against a wall!”
“We’ve had worse,” Hunter shrugged, his eyes never leaving hers.
Jaine felt the sting of tears pricking at her eyes. “I can’t be the reason you get hurt,” she whispered. “Not any of you.”
The smell of the tears beginning to streak down her cheeks was breaking Hunter’s heart, and her usually earthy scent was marred by fear and anxiety.
“You could never hurt us, mesh’la,” he cooed, his hand cupping her cheek as he wiped the tears from it with his thumb.
“I already did,” she sobbed, not realizing the way she pressed her face into his hand, and definitely not noticing the way Hunter’s heart began to pound against his chest.
“I know you didn’t mean to,” he assured her. “Please, come back to the Marauder with me?”
Jaine swallowed. Hunter’s eyes were looking into her own so deeply, his warm hand against her cheek, and the slight smile as he asked her to go with him.
“Force, this is so sweet,” Khawa whispered to Ahsoka at the other end of the room, causing Hunter to whip his head towards them. Khawa squeaked as Hunter stared them down, and Ahsoka chuckled, pulling Khawa out of the room by their arm, despite their protests.
Jaine felt her face heat up, as though she had just realized the position they were in. She pulled her face away from his hand, awkwardly looking anywhere but at him.
Hunter missed the warmth of her cheek the moment it left his hand, but he pushed that feeling away.
“Please come with me,” he whispered, returning to his feet.
Jaine didn’t speak but nodded a little, accepting the hand that Hunter offered.
He squeezed her hand gently, savoring the feeling of her small hand in his own, trying not to feel hurt when she gently pulled it from his grasp.
-
“Damnit, Tech,” Crosshair hissed as Tech continued to care for his hand.
“Don’t be a child, Crosshair,” Tech said flatly.
“Maybe don’t press as hard?” Echo suggested quietly.
“Stow it, Echo,” Tech snapped, not looking away from his work for a moment. “It’s bad enough she burnt Crosshair’s hand, but now I’ll have to make repairs to the nodes of your chest implant. Maker only knows how much she hurt Hunter and he could still be in danger.”
“In danger?” Wrecker echoed.
“Yes,” Tech explained, the irritation he felt clearly showing through. “If he is with Lieutenant Vale, he could be in significant danger.”
Wrecker laughed, ignoring his brother’s tone. “Jainey isn’t ‘danger’! She’s so little, and she’s too nice to hurt ‘im.”
Tech scowled. “As always, I am the only one thinking clearly. Jaine Vale has already injured three members of this squad. Given her current unstable nature and the…powers she wields without formal training, it is more than likely that our squad will receive more injuries from her. Hunter’s original judgment was correct; she should be transferred out of our squad and, possibly, out of the GAR.”
“Tech,” Echo chided, placing a comforting hand on the shoulder of Wrecker, who was looking a bit like a kicked loth-wolf pup.
“What’s your problem?” Crosshair growled. “What happened that night you went to talk to her?”
Tech, finishing wrapping Crosshair’s hand, stood, straightening his goggles. “She incorrectly assumed I was there because I was having trouble sleeping. She brewed a tea with sedative properties and sent me off.”
He knew he was leaving out facts about that interaction. She was simply just doing her job. He didn’t correct her when she tried to deduce why he was pacing in front of her door so late at night, and it wasn’t as though she was incorrect; he was having trouble sleeping. Granted though that this was mostly due to his own guilt over his misplaced lack of trust.
He also knowingly left out the fact that she went on to explain why he was really there, opening up to him ever so slightly. It was like she had read his mind - something that not even Crosshair, his batch twin and best friend, could do.
He left out that the memory of how he’d felt that night - watching her work, the intimacy of her opening up to him, the tea, the way her voice lilted, the smell of her freshly washed hair that he caught when she sat so close to him - it all brought a buzzing sensation to his mind, like comm static, despite his anger with her now.
Tech especially left out his inappropriate request for a taste of more…physical intimacy, and his complete and utter regret that he’d stopped himself from hearing her answer. Or that the only time his mind was ever blissfully relaxed was in his sleep; that he didn’t dream often, yet that night he’d dreamt of her.
Returning himself to the moment, Tech knew his batch twin would be giving him a heated glare, and he could practically feel the anger rolling off of him.
“She was ‘incorrect’, was she?” Crosshair drawled, scowling at his brother. He knew Tech well enough to know that he wasn’t telling the full story.
Echo and Wrecker looked at each other with matching expressions of confusion, then towards Crosshair.
Crosshair looked at Echo with a face he hoped read as “please get Wrecker out of here”. Despite his anger with Tech, and his confidence that when the chips were down, Wrecker would have his back on the matter of Jaine, Crosshair knew his big, sensitive brother didn’t need to bear witness to the clash between his “baby brothers”.
Echo gave a subtle nod, muttering some excuse to Wrecker, and pushing him out of the room.
“You did not need to do that,” Tech said flatly as the door closed, leaving the pair of them alone.
Crosshair scoffed. “Do what? Spare the big guy from whatever banthashit you’re about to spew?”
Tech spun around to face Crosshair. “I am not-” he started, but upon seeing the utterly exasperated look on his brother’s face, he hesitated.
“Tech,” Crosshair murmured, patting the space next to him.
Tech took a deep breath, then plopped down next to his twin.
“Bic cuyir shi ni, ara'vod,” Crosshair whispered. [It’s only me, twin.]
Tech’s eyebrows shot up as he searched his brother’s face. “Gar su partaylir mando'a?” [You still remember mando’a?]
“Just enough to keep you on your toes,” Crosshair chuckled lightly, bumping Tech’s arm with his own.
Tech pushed back a little, rolling his eyes. The twins fell into a comfortable silence, just being near one another enough to calm their minds.
“You’re not going to ask?” Tech questioned nervously moments later. He was beginning to fidget, and Crosshair noticed. He also noticed how hard Tech was fighting not to fidget.
Crosshair shrugged. “You’ll tell me when you feel like it.” He noted that this was clearly not the response Tech was looking for as he watched his brother scowl at the floor.
Crosshair sighed. “What hap-”
“I was speechless!” Tech practically burst. “I was simply there to admit my own faults and apologize, then she opened the door and I just couldn’t say anything.”
“That…that’s remarkable. Did you note the time?”
Tech’s expression was unamused. “It was late and I couldn’t sleep-”
“Tech, I know this part, remember? I’m the one that talked you into apologizing?”
Tech thought back to that night, desperately trying to remember anything but her sleepy expression or the sound of her humming. Maker, he was right. He must be losing his mind.
“R-right,” Tech mumbled.
“Skip to the part where you couldn’t talk?” Crosshair suggested.
“You seem to have latched onto that idea,” Tech said, eyeing his brother, who barked out a short laugh.
“Moments when you can’t talk are very rare,” Crosshair grinned. “I can’t think of a single time you couldn’t find something to say.”
Tech rolled his eyes, shaking his head at his twin’s antics.
“And to think,” Crosshair goaded. “It was a little medic to finally get you to shut up.”
“Oh, shove it up your ass, Crosshair,” Tech groaned.
“Come on, brother,” Crosshair chuckled, elbowing Tech’s ribs gently. “Tell me what happened.”
Tech sighed again. “I can’t tell you.”
“Sure you can.”
“No, Cross, I can’t tell you,” Tech repeated, pointedly looking anywhere but at Crosshair.
Crosshair scowled a little, searching his brother’s face for answers. “Tech, if you can’t tell me, who can you tell?”
Tech didn’t answer, turning his face from his brother again. A quiet wave of harsh realization washed over Crosshair.
“Don’t do this, Tech,” he whispered. “Don’t push me away. Please, not again.”
Tech stood and began walking towards the door, but was stopped when Crosshair grabbed his wrist.
“Tech, please,” Crosshair practically begged, words spilling desperately from his lips. “Vi nu'cuyir ogir dar. Gar nu'vaabir linibar at haaranovor. Nu'vaabir haaranovor teh ni.” [We aren’t there any longer. You don’t need to hide. Don’t hide from me.]
Meh shi ibac rucuyir veman, ner vod, Tech thought as he collected himself and left Crosshair alone in the medbay. [If only that were true, my brother.]

Paid Readings
Heya!
My name is Zee, I identify as non-binary and I use they/them pronouns. I'm clairvoyant, claircognizant, clairaudient, an energy worker, a spirit worker, and a healer. I identify as a Reductionist Witch, and am a Buddhist and a Norse Pagan. I am also a student of Chinese Medicine, and am in my second year of school.
I am offering my abilities as paid readings! When I do a reading, I first connect to your energy directly. Then, I describe what I am seeing about you - physical features, things that stand out about your energy and emotions, what your aura looks like, and if there are any spirits around. From there it depends on the question of the recipient. If there are no specific questions, I do a General Reading, where I simply open myself up to the Universe and let whatever it wants to show me about you come through - this usually leads to visions, memories, and sometimes even meeting with spirits.
Sometimes, I will feel called to pull a tarot or oracle card, of use some or kind of divination - but for the most part my readings are all intuitive.
You can find examples of some readings that I've done here, here, here, here, here, and here.
Here are some examples of the feedback that I have received on my readings:
How To Get A Reading From Me
1. Check my inbox to see how many slots are available, or if they are closed. I currently am doing 4 readings a week; new slots open on Mondays.
2. Your info
Send me an ask, anonymous or not, with the following information:
-First Name
-Last Initial
-Preferred pronouns
-2 Unique Physical Features
-A Fav Childhood Memory
These are NOT optional. These help me to get a strong read and lock on your energy, so that I can properly see and work with you and your energy. Without them, I cannot give you an accurate reading.
3. Include any questions you would like answered/things you would like to me look at, if applicable. The more info, the better! If you don't have any questions, just specify that you would like a general reading.
Questions I Won't Answer
I don't do legal or medical questions. I don't do specific time-frame requests (i.e. how many days until I meet my soulmate?). I also don't do third-party readings - which basically means doing a reading for somebody else that's not you. I can do like a relationship reading, or reading on the bond/connection between you and someone else, but that's as far as I will read on the other person without their explicit consent. I also currently am not offering services for healings and won't help you deal with malicious spirits, though this can and probably will change in the future.
4. Payment
I am going to be using Ko-fi for payment. (https://ko-fi.com/enerchi). The minimum price for a reading is $5 - though tipping more than that is both encouraged and welcomed. Please make sure that I am able to match your payment to your ask, so that I know you've paid.
Requests that I receive without payment will be left in my inbox for 3 days before being deleted.
The readings that I do are all posted publicly on my blog. If you would like me to do your reading privately, please DM me, and know that the minimum price for a private reading is $10.
Thank you for reading, and I look forward to working with you!
Blessings!
