he has had to very actively encourage luka to treat the place like it was also his. leaving his things around, spending more time in the living room with palmer. he hasn't asked about it yet but palmer has been able to infer that he had a bad roommate prior to coming to them. palmer is quite determined to show him that he can do whatever he wants and palmer will never have a problem with it. which is how the lines became so blurred because it had encouraged movie nights. and movie nights encouraged cuddling and sitting so close that luka understood boundaries are not really a problem with palmer. except for now, when he has to enforce them for the good of the team and his friendship with luka. it's just... so goddamn difficult. palmer laughs and reaches back to push the door to the bathroom open for him. "i don't get it either. i reckon we go nose blind or something silly." he scrunches up his nose and nods back to the bathroom. "it's all yours. i'll jump in after you." biting into his lip, palmer brushes past luka which is an intentional move considering there was no real reason for him to do it. he had plenty of room to get by him without touching him at all. "for the record, you could never stink up our room."
palmer's offer of the spare room had been really nice, it gave him a chance to settle in somewhere that felt a little bit more homely than staying in a hotel or in an airb'n'b. spending so much time with palmer was blurring the lines between them, feelings were cropping up that he very much needed to push down. they couldn't be what his heart wanted them to be. he smiles back at him, nodding his head as he perches on the edge of his bed - letting out a little laugh before tucking his hands under his thighs. "not wrong - is not fun," he mutters, scrunching his nose up in mock disgust. "all smell so bad, not sure how we deal with it," luka shrugs, looking over at palmer as he moves his hair off his forehead. he just gazes at him for a moment, before clearing his throat and shaking his head. this can't happen - as much as he wants it too. he pushes himself to his feet, "should probably shower before i stink our room."
#speaks: palmer lindstrom.#featuring: palmer & luka.#softslust#hello....... he's really just saying this stuff? may as well get on his knees and profess his love like????

I feel like Hugs 33 and Touching 43 are sooo Lars coded, because he doesnât really realize how strong he is, heâs just such a softie :,(
Hugs 33. picking them up +
Touching 43. giving them a piggyback ride
ââ⧠Lars Lindstrom x gn!reader
ââ⧠Pure fluff! This one ended up just a little longer than the others⌠also I want to thank my darling @heresthestorymorningglory for the telepathic link that finally gave me the right idea!
âââ§âââââââââââââââââ§ââ
Gazing up at the stars glittering through the gently falling snow, you lean your head against Larsâs shoulder wish a quiet sigh. âI donât know how Iâll make it back.â
âIt is magical out here at night, isnât it?â Lars breathes with a soft giggle.
âIt really is,â you squeeze his gloved hand lightly with yours, âbut I actually meant the walk back. My legs are frozen and kind of tired.â
Thereâs a pause then; you feel Lars tense. You think that maybe heâs unsure how to help you, and you know how that upsets him, but then he takes a deep inhale of frosty air and blurts, âI can carry you back if you want!â squeezing his eyes tight shut.
The thought of being so close, safe in his arms, floods your cheeks with heat. âOh⌠oh, Lars I couldnât possibly-'
âItâs okay,â he reassures you, breath steadying and eyes blinking open to gaze down at you instead of up at the moon. âI donât mind, and besides, Iâm really good at it.â
âYeah?â
âYeah,â he shrugs, âI used to carry Bianca a lot when she didnât have her wheelchair. She always used to tell me that she loved how strong I am.â
You watch Larsâs cheeks flush with colour, too as he averts is gaze.
âAlright,â you agree casually. âI would love to see how strong you are.â
All the breath leaves Larsâs body at that, and you feel almost guilty for a moment, but you do so love it when he blushes. Youâve already noticed how strong he is, of course â youâve watched him chop firewood enough times to know.
Lars turns on the spot and holds his arms out behind himself. You have to bite your lips together to keep from letting out a whine as you mount his back. Even through all the layers, heâs soft and thick and strong and sturdy. If he wasnât holding you to him so tightly, you might swoon.
âThe stars look even more beautiful from here,â you whisper, hot against the exposed part of his ear, and a shiver runs through his whole body.
As you finally approach the warm lights of the house and his garage apartment, he carefully sets you down, slips off his woolly hat and unfastens the front of his coat.
âMay I?â
He holds his arms out in front of him this time, and smiles at you as you tilt your head, curious. Itâs a handsome smile, lips curling up slightly more at one side, genuine and warm. Itâs almost hypnotising. And the next thing you know, Lars is carrying you bridal style into his apartment.
Once youâre back on the ground, and Lars has shed his coat and the little blanket from around his neck, he smiles at you again, with an extra twinkle in his eye.
âAre your legs too tired to dance?â

how are you feeling about the flyers draft picks/activities? i donât hate luchanko but i wouldâve rather seen them trade up to the 20s for him with a future second and/or 3rd round pick (or laughton or something) + 32. i canât believe they passed on buium so Iâm hoping they knew something we didnât about him. iâm doing my best to trust in danny but iâm skeptical of his first round.
I feel great. I feel incredible. I was pretty uncertain and definitely shocked re: Luchanko at first but I've changed my mind. Danny made the right moves and while I might be upset that we didnât get Buium or Helenius (and I am especially upset that we didn't get Dickinson but that's on the Sharks who I am pissy at rn. I promise in like three days i will be very excited to see him in teal), I see the vision. This is long term.
Here are just some of the first quotes Iâve found on Jett Luchanko:

Guy seems to me like a power-play oriented, playmaking, speed-skating, young Morgan Frost. Suzuki, and apparently Luchanko, are net front danger zone scorers, and Luchanko clearly seems disposed to pass first, playmake, and score in exactly the same zone that Michkov likes to score in. Net front. Behind the net. Michigans. (Watch that video I just linked! Look where he scores from!) Everything I'm reading here seems like heâs tailor-made to playmake for Michkov - and if heâs not? Well, this wasnt exactly a big swing, was it? We traded back and traded away, which was THE THING I SAID WE SHOULD DO, LIKE, A MONTH AGO:
Here's that link, in case you don't believe me.
We might not have traded to a shit team, but we still got the 2025 pick. Everything I said in that post is still applicable. This was "not the draft for big swings." So we didn't take a big swing. Danny took a guy that the Flyers clearly seem to think is a fantastic possible center for Michkov, which is, and should be, their top priority. One of the main criticisms that fans had of the Giroux era was that the Flyers didn't surround him with the talent he needed to succeed, and we don't want to make that mistake this time around?
The problem is that this isn't the draft that's full of that elite talent. Some of them, maybe. The Flyers very clearly wanted to trade up for Lindstrom, but CBJ didn't bite, because they wanted Lindstrom, and I get it. Lindstrom is a fantastic center. So they took the next best center for Michkov, who turned out to be Luchanko. It was what they wanted out of this draft â Michkov's center, or at least a possible one. He wasn't the best player available â clearly, since they traded away from Buium, and gained a 2025 3rd rounder in the process (nice!) â but he is a phenomenal choice for Michkov. And if he doesn't pan out? Well, it's a good thing we didn't trade up for him.
Now, 2025. This is the deep draft. This is the draft that does have that elite talent. And we may have 6 picks in the first and second rounds.
Now that is the draft for big swings. Michkov is coming over this season. We move as few pieces as possible. Who does he work well with on the team? Who doesn't click? How does his play fit, where are the gaps, what do we still need with him on the wing? How does he feel? What and/or who does he need, personally? Three first-round picks in 2025 mean that you have a LOT OF ROOM TO WORK WITH. I assume Luchanko doesn't go to the NHL this season â haven't seen anything to suggest he will, and with the general quality of this draft being one that still needs time, it's fair to assume that he'll stay with the Guelph Storm in the OHL. So when we watch him play in Canada this year and see how he improves and how he communicates with the Flyers, and see Michkov on the ice in orange, we'll have an idea of what we need in 2025. Do we keep the PHI, COL, EDM picks where they are? (My guesses are 14, 25, 32. Quote me!) Or do we package them and trade up? That's a big swing in a deep draft full of huge talents. 25+32 to trade to 20. 20+14 to trade up to 5, or 4. Or maybe 25+32 is enough to get us up front. 10, even. And then once you have that high pick - like we saw today, anyone can fall. We saw it with Michkov last year. Imagine.
I love this draft. I think Danny cooked. I think this was a long-term vision and I'm stoked for Jett Luchanko. Welcome to Philly, bud! I can't wait.

Clouds Hover Over the Alaska Peninsula
Standing wave clouds developed along the Alaska Peninsula in spring 2025, casting striking shadows across the surfaces below. The well-defined clouds built throughout the day on April 7 as rugged terrain lofted and cooled winds blowing out of the north.
The VIIRS (Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite) on the NOAA-21, Suomi NPP, and NOAA-20 satellites captured this series of images between 2:40 and 3:30 p.m. local time (22:40 and 23:30 Universal Time) on April 7. The animation help illustrates how these âtopographically anchoredâ clouds stayed relatively stable and stationary, said Scott Lindstrom, a remote sensing expert at the University of Wisconsin-Madisonâs Space Science and Engineering Center. Lindstrom was alerted to these clouds by staff at the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Juneau, Alaska.
Wave clouds form when prevailing winds encounter a topographic barrier, such as a mountain range. The air is forced to flow up and over the mountains, causing it to cool and any water vapor it contains to condense, forming clouds. The clouds may appear to hover in the sky even though wind is racing through them.
Atmospheric sounding data and ground observations collected that day showed strong, low-level winds blowing over the Bering Sea from the north, Lindstrom wrote in a blog post detailing the phenomenon. Around the time of the images, measurements also revealed a stable inversion layer from approximately 1,000 to 2,000 meters in altitude, above most of the peaks on the peninsula. As a result, he said, the conditions were right for standing wave clouds to form downwind of the ridge crests.
In the hours before the VIIRS sensors acquired the images above, the GOES-18 satellite, operated by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), observed the wave cloud developing its well-defined northern edge. From a geostationary orbit, this satellite continuously monitors Earthâs Western Hemisphere.
However, because GOES orbits over the equator, it has an oblique view of higher latitudes. From its perspective, the clouds looked like they were located farther north over the Alaska Peninsula than they likely were, Lindstrom said, and their shadows were not visible. The case highlights the importance of the complementary nadir (straight-down) observations acquired by polar orbiters, he added, which include NOAAâs Joint Polar Satellite System and NASAâs Aqua, Terra, and PACE.
NASA Earth Observatory images by Michala Garrison, using VIIRS data from NASA EOSDIS LANCE, GIBS/Worldview, Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership, and the Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS). Story by Lindsey Doermann.

Release: May 14, 2020
Lyrics:
All this time, all this time keeps fading
Feeling trapped inside
So afraid of the darkness talking
In my mind
It's been a long time coming
But it wasn't for nothing
Soul-searching for something, for something
Yeah, I just wanna feel alive with you
I'm down on my knees in the dust
I scream from the top of my lungs
I find my way back to a higher ground
Yeah, I just wanna feel alive
Deep in my bones
I know I'm not there but I'm close
I find my way back to a higher ground
Yeah, I just wanna feel alive with you
Yeah, I just wanna feel alive
Try to speak but my voice keeps breaking
Need to say what's wrong
So many smiles you have seen me faking
On and on
It's been a long time coming
But it wasn't for nothing
Soul-searching for something, for something
Yeah, I just wanna feel alive with you
I'm down on my knees in the dust
I scream from the top of my lungs
I find my way back to a higher ground
Yeah, I just wanna feel alive
Deep in my bones
I know I'm not there but I'm close
I find my way back to a higher ground
Yeah, I just wanna feel alive with you

There have been numerous recent cases of security threats to business information holdings inhuman, electronic, and physical form. These threats need effective management to prevent firms from undergoing heavy losses in terms of valuable assets and information. This paper intends to describe some of the human, electronic, and physical holdings under threat and what these possible threats are. It also outlines a security plan to counteract the aforementioned threats, as well as measures to be used to evaluate the planâs effectiveness. Physical information holdings Some of the physical information properties in a firm include, but are not limited to, computers, telephones, internet cables, and hardware. Human information holdings These include employees, shareholders, and customers, among others. Electronic information holdings These include, but are not limited to, customer private details, business sensitive information, software and credit card details. Physical threats Bidgoli (2006) contends that various physical threats exist to an organizationâs information holdings, including water, theft, and fire among others. One particular category of threat is natural threats like floods, earthquakes, and wildfires, among others. Within this category, floods definitely constitute a serious risk to information holding in a firm. This is because water may shortcircuit a computerâs operating system, and thus, destroys its hardware. This may get even worse depending on the geographical location of a firm, as located on hilltops are more secure than those in flatter areas. Other physical threats to informational holdings include liquid leakage, environmental failure, tornados, ice, chemicals, lightning, and wind (Lindstrom, 2003). In addition, Lindstrom (2003) explains that wildfires may bring about a catastrophic effect on information systems in a given organization if they fully or partially destroy the buildings in which computers are stored. Moreover, areas with powerful seismic waves experience frequent earthquakes, thus causing substantial threat to information systems in these areas. In addition to earthquakes, organizational information systems may be threatened by the temperature levels of a location. Certainly, the performance of computers seems to deteriorate under specific temperature levels. Besides this, the amount of humidity in the air may result in corrosion to computer circuits and hardware. Power outages and electricity spikes resulting from thunderstorms may also cause damage to computer systems, especially when there is no regular testing of backup generators (Bidgoli, 2006). Human threats Human error presents a serious threat to a firmâs information systems. Besides, human errors are subdivided into insider threats versus outsider threats, and accidental versus deliberate threats. Insider versus outsider human threats Insider threats are those facilitated by individuals within a firm, such as, employees, and other persons in the organization. For instance, there have been reported cases involving janitorial staff unplugging mainframes in order to clean them, and plugging them back once things were in order (Theoharidou et al., 2005). On the other hand, outsider threats are those caused by people originating outside the firm. For instance, people holding grudges with a company may steal its vital information either within, or in a cyber outside the firm. Theft is another human threat to information holdings in a business whereby criminals might break into a business facility and steal computers and information devices, causing major loss to a business. Vandalism is another form of outsider human threat to information holdings (Corporation, 2011). Accidental versus deliberate human threats Accidental threats are those that happen unintentionally, for instance, there are human errors like resetting a computer by mistake and knocking computers off shelves or desks (Bidgoli, 2006). On contrast, deliberate threats are those that happen intentionally. Information holdings may also face sabotage, whereby an individual deliberately steals, alters or destroys informational resources. For instance, anybody with a grudge against a firm, such as a former or current disgruntled employee, might pose the threat of sabotage against its critical systems. Another form of human threat to information holdings is vandalism, which causes huge losses to a business (Ray, 2004). Electronic threats The electronic threats that an organizationâs information property may face are classified into a number of categories. These divisions are based on the manner in which the threat is carried out against the information holdings. Some of these threats include access attacks, reconnaissance (reckon), malware, and Denial of Service (DoS) attacks (Colwill, 2009). Read the full article

Prioritise Pleasure part 2
Lars Lindstrom x afab!reader
ââ⧠1.5k words - part 1 - masterlist
Summary: Lars is feeling bold and wants to take things a step further
Authorâs notes: You donât need to read part 1 for this to make sense, but it would add to the juiciness. When I wrote part 1, I never really intended to end it the way I did, and I couldnât get the bath out of my mind, so here it is. If youâre left wondering when you get to the end of this one, yes, there will be a part 3! Shout out to the wonderful @heresthestorymorningglory for the encouragement and Goosecord for keeping my ideas horny!
Warnings/content: nsfw, fingering in the bath, unintentional edging, nipple play

âââ§ââââââââââââââââââââââ§ââ
Lars turned his gaze down to the bubbles floating around him when you dropped your towel. The orgasm youâd given him only half an hour ago might have brought you closer than youâd ever been, but you hadnât seen one another naked yet, and more than anything else, Lars was respectful.
He did peek cautiously through one eye as you stepped into the water, though, just to make sure you didnât slip as you stepped into the tub and settled yourself between his thighs.
His eyes squeezed shut, head spinning at how quickly everything had moved tonight. He never expected you to really want to touch him like that, and he never imagined he would end up naked with you, either.
But he liked it. And to his own surprise, he wanted more.
âYou can, uh⌠you can⌠lay on me if you want,â he breathed shakily, shifting himself up to give you room to get comfortable. âA-against my chest?â
You nodded and laid back, sighing as the silky water enveloped you, Larsâs chest just as warm and soft against your back.Â
Your head dropped to rest comfortably against his shoulder and you could feel his every movement. Youâd cuddled plenty before, building up his confidence and tolerance with touch the more you got to know one another, but never skin to skin, never so intimately, and you could tell he was forcing his breath even.
âM-may I⌠touch you?â he uttered, knuckles white as he gripped the edge of the tub so tight he could have cracked the enamel.
âMmhm,â you hummed, serene and relaxed, nodding your head back against his shoulder as though it was the easiest decision in the world, and it calmed him a little.
Slowly, the fingers of his left hand uncurled from the edge of the tub, the other still holding on tight as if for dear life, and he shakily placed his palm to your shoulder.
You sighed dreamily at the gentle pressure, and Lars squeezed his eyes shut tight again, finding himself breathless.
You let him stay there for a while, taking this at his own pace and getting used to so much of you pressed flush against so much of him.
When his breathing eventually evened and slowed, you slid a hand up out of the water and placed it carefully over his, squeezing gently.
He flinched at first, which wasnât unusual, and he soon relaxed into the sensation, so you pulled his hand lower, down to your chest.
Lars tensed.
âAre you ok with this?â you whispered, unmoving.
âYes,â he choked out.
âLars?â
âHmm?â he answered, a high pitched, cracked hum.
âWhere do you want to touch me?â
You smirked, picturing the embarrassed glow on his cheeks. But Lars was feeling bold.
âI, uh⌠I want to make youâŚyâknow-â
âCum?â
Under a heavy breath, Lars whined out, âYou have to stop saying that so casually.â It made him feel dizzy when you spoke like that.
âAre you ready?â
There was a pause then, where Lars tried hard to focus on the fact that you must want him to touch you too, but it was hard to do that when his head was swimming with thoughts about whether youâd thought about this before, whether heâd be any good at it, whether he could manage to keep his hand on you long enough to find out.
But he found his way through it eventually, and gave a simple, âYes.â
âAlright. Do you trust me?â you asked gently.
This time his reply was immediate. âYes.â
You pulled his hand lower, beneath the water, resting his palm against your stomach while you spread your legs over his and planted your feet on his shins, your knees surfacing above the water as you settled into position for him.
âYouâre sure you want to do this?â you checked in one last time, feeling him nod eagerly behind you.Â
He knew if he spoke heâd embarrass himself with a moan, or just sound impatient, and he wanted this to be perfect for you.
Lars held his breath as you dragged his hand down to the apex of your thighs, his thick, long fingers instinctively stroking your folds as soon as it arrived there.
You hummed, and Lars gasped at your response â and the way you felt under his fingertips, silky and warm, even beneath the water.
You guided his fingers up slightly until they were positioned right over your clit, where he quickly learned the pressure and speed you seemed to like and found his rhythm, eyes wide at the way you melted against him.
He might be nervous to do this with you, but he knew for sure he was excellent at taking good care of you, and wasnât this just another way to do that? To fulfil your needs like a good boyfriend should?
âDoes that feel good?â he cooed, confidence soaring despite the heat in his cheeks.Â
You hummed out something like a yes, and his fingers, massaging in slow, gentle circles, pressed a little firmer, moved a little faster.
You jolted up at the delicious change of pace, water sloshing around the tub as you dropped back to him and rocked your hips up into his touch.
âYou like that?â he asked, so incredibly innocently, yet with such an undertone of impatience â the impatience he tried hard not to let out â that your blood boiled with desire.
âYes- YES!-â
As you cried out he all but stopped, stroking through your folds again so slowly it was almost painful. Each time his fingertips grazed your sensitive nub, you shuddered and he slipped his fingers away again.
âLars- please-â you tried, but he just chuckled.
You never had Lars down as a tease, but his fingers felt so good you could hardly complain. And was it teasing, really, or was he just enjoying this new sensation as much as you were?
You briefly wondered if heâd ever practised this on Bianca, but the question was answered by his inexperience as quickly as youâd formulated it.
âH-how do I- uh-â
You knew what he wanted and placed your fingers tenderly over his again, guiding him to your entrance this time.
âOh!â he gasped. âYouâre⌠you feel so⌠wet.â
He dragged your slick around gently before carefully pushing a finger inside.
âIt doesnât hurt, does it? I can take it out if-â
âNot at all,â you reassured him, hardly able to finish the sentence without a quiet moan escaping.
Lars pumped his finger just once, still careful despite your encouragement. It seemed to feel good, so he tried it again, and again, until he was fucking into you hard and fast, relishing in the way you gripped his wrist beneath the water and how you were grinding against the heel of his palm as he pumped his finger.
Your free hand reached behind you, pushing your fingers up to mess up his perfectly combed, soft, thick hair, feeling his mustache brush against your neck as he planted tender kisses along the sensitive flesh there.
âIâve got you,â he whispered, hot against your ear, voice husky and thick with lust. You could feel his erection pressing into your back and wondered if he might want to take this another step further before the night was out or whether that would be too much for him.
But for now, you were on the verge of seeing stars, intoxicated with his strong hands and tender kisses and the way he was touching you almost expertly despite never having touched anyone like this before.
His finger curled up inside you as the hand clutching the rim of the tub began to grope at you instead, kneading, squeezing, massaging everywhere he could reach, and ending with his thumb roughly stroking over a nipple.
âOh- yes, thatâs it- oh, Lars!â
Water splashed out of the tub as you thrashed against him. He tried to keep you still with the hand pressed to your chest as he worked you through your release, but he was feeling weak himself.
A needy little whine escaped his throat as you dropped back. His cock was leaking steadily into the water now; the friction of you writhing against him in pleasure had simply been too much, along with the knowledge that his finger was buried inside you. And the way youâd moaned his name.
Everyoneâs favourite word was their own name, after all.
He put his own pleasure aside though, hoping you hadnât noticed, fighting the urge to rut against you as you had come undone for him.
âAre you okay?â he panted. âI didnât hurt you did I?â
You shook your head, breathless.
âDid I make you-â
âCu-â
âFeel good,â Lars jumped in before you could say it again. He might not last if you said a dirty word right now.
âIncredible,â you chuckled.
There was a comfortable silence as you laid together in the gradually cooling water, the bubbles that had once covered Larsâs modesty slowly melting away around you.Â
Lars was comfortable, at least, despite the tension growing in his lower belly. And the heat, and the need.
âLars,â you tried quietly, and he whimpered. âDo you need something?â
âHmm?â
âCome on, donât be shy,â you soothed. âItâs getting cold in here. Letâs grab a towel and make a fire. Warm up together. What do you say?â
Lars didnât have anything to say. He just swallowed hard.
