A partnership opportunity.
“Hello members of the congregation, guests, and all of our friends watching right now. We hope you enjoyed our usual Sunday service broadcast! Before we go, we have a brief message we think you’ll enjoy!”
“Please welcome the current head of our Templar Order, Brother Julius! Brother Julius is accompanied by Senior Templar May Artemisia.”
Tumblr media
“Hello everyone. I do hope you’ve been having a blessed Sunday. I’ve taken a bit of time out of my schedule to discuss something some o you may find very interesting.”
“Perhaps you recall my recent appearance on a Mayor Lowell Presents episode where I spoke of Augustus The Third’s Cathedral. If you need a reminder, feel free to look here.”
Tumblr media
“We’ve recently had a few breakthroughs in our research and believe we have narrowed down it’s location. Several of our brave Templars have been undertaking expeditions through the tunnel systems. Several of these groups have begun to find more evidence of the Cathedral’s location. We’ve even found what we believe to be a relic that would have been lost during it’s transportation to the Cathedral’s vault.”
“On that subject I’d like to announce a partnership with Apricus University. I’ve personally begun a program that will allow students a chance to help with our research. The possibility of finding a long lost Cathedral and all the relics within it must be rather exciting no? Not to mention you’ll get University credit and a lovely note on future resumes.”
“We invite any interested students or staff to visit us in Delta Town. You’ll be directed to my office. If accepted into the project you’ll be allowed to read a variety of approved material from our own personal vault, and some of my notes.”
“Interested parties not associated with the University may also be accepted but should be prepared for a longer interview process.”
“I hope to meet with some of you soon. Thank you again for your time. May Creation’s light shine upon you always.”

Leo let raph keep the homeless baby
If you can't read the text, they are in Alts.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As much as Leo would love to keep Misa around, which is more than you'd probably think, she hates the thought of something bad happening or Misa getting hurt more if they don't return her to her own Universe.
While she's there, they'll be looking after her of course, but she will have to go "home" eventually. (Even if it pains them to leave a child alone) So Leo will not be allowing Raph to keep the baby.
(@littlemissartemisia I usually don't @ people, but considering this is an ask about your AU it seems reasonable to mention you! Sorry if you don't like it, just tell me if so!)

OK, so. I'm not sure if it just isn't in my circles, but I haven't seen enough people talking about Chronos' design in Hades II and I need to point out an interesting design choice or I'm going to implode. Okay? Okay.
So what do y'all know about Kintsugi? For those who don't know, Kintsugi is an art form wherein pottery that has been broken or shattered is repaired with gold.
Tumblr media
Here is an example of a piece, notice how the gold is filling in the cracks of the pottery, not just covering them up, rhe gold is taking the place of the broken ceramics. That is the point of Kintsugi, to highlight the fractures with the gold and show that, yes, once this was broken, but the gold made it whole again and better than before.
Now, what's some baseline knowledge about Chronos? King of the Titans, ruler of Time, ate his kids, and was torn asunder by his children with his own sickle. This is where that design choice comes in.
Tumblr media
At first, I just assumed it was just a nice little flourish in the design, he has scars from his dismembering and the scar tissue was a gold hue because of his divine blood. But no, Chronos, over however many eons he spent in Tartarus filled in his missing flesh with gold, like a piece of shattered pottery.
It just... it just works on so many levels to me. Given his personality and self-importance, he treats his body like its a piece of fine pottery repairing it as such. It also helps to show off his overwhelming nature, these wounds that took all Six of the original Olympians, hundreds of Giants, and the Hecatoncheires to inflict meant absolutely nothing in the end, only making it so that he may be more glorious still, illuminating his wounds and showing that he is truly invincible and unstoppable.
God Supergiant is so good at character design.

💚: *Yawn...* Oh! How embarrassing of me...
💚: *Giggle* Weird seeing me in pink, huh? Well, I wouldn't want to wake up in a bad mood, so I surround my room with things I like. And pink just so happens to be one of my favorite colors~
💚: *Sigh* I absolutely love satin nightgowns! They're so breathable and comfy... it makes me feel like I'm sleeping on air.
💚: Hm? Are you looking at my perfume collection, prefect~? No matter what anyone says, you can never have too much perfume. You must have one for everyone occasion!
💚: My roommate? Well, Artemisia is... an odd one, but I'd be lying if I said she wasn't kind. She was practically my only option for a roommate since we're some of the only girls in the dorm. Though, I'd much rather be Artemisia's roommate than any of the boys' roommate.

Yapping below!
This is kind of a momentous occasion, isn't it? I mean, Constance was the first twst oc I EVER MADE, and now I'm finally celebrating her birthday.
It may sound weird, but I get kinda sentimental thinking about it. I made Constance a LONG while before I had made my tumblr, and now she's kinda become the posterchild of my blog, lol. I'm not mad, though. I actually kinda wanted this.
Constance holds such a dear place in my heart, and I'm so glad I get to share her story and my other ocs stories with all of you 💚
Happy birthday, Constance!

HL Theory: Ancient Magic MADE The Blackwood Mazes
Tumblr media
Ancient magic is a versatile Magic capable of a lot of element bending we see in game! The creation of storms, creating structures out of nothing, and bringing stone to life- it seems endless in what it can do. But we only see some of its story- the Keepers story.
To start off this theory, before we get into the meat and bones of this theory we need to explain WHAT the Blackwood mazes are- considering you don’t go to them in any quest, nor are they easy to find since there are only five and they randomly spawn in the map. It’s entirely possible to go an entire playthrough without finding even one- SO on the off chance there’s someone out there who just doesn’t know what they are;
Tumblr media
(Image transcript:
There are 5 known entrances to the Hedge Maze, they look like Gates Arches made of plants and appear randomly. They're actually the entrances to the Blackwood Maze, a simple random maze in which you'll always find a Legendary Chest with a random Legendary Grear Piece in the center. The Hedge Maze can be entered more than once. If you find this location, read the book on the pedestal of plants next to the entrance (it may not be there or it may be inside the maze. This book, in four parts, is A Horticultural History of the Blackwood Maze, it will tell you the whole story. Go through the entrance, find chest, collect Loot, Hedge Maze will disappear. Credit: game-maps.com)
Tumblr media
So who IS Blackwood? Well if you haven’t read the books from the maze, let me summarize his life for you. (Skip this next bit in BLUE if you don’t want to read my retelling: Spoilers ahead.)
If you play through the mazes and get all the books, it will tell a cruel story of a Hufflepuff wizard from the Fifteenth Century named Eunon Wood, born a Muggle Born. He could allegedly control Blackthorn bushes with his mind, angering his Muggle family. He went to Hogwarts and fell in love with Artemisia Black, who was disowned from her own proud family for being a halfblood who felt both of their ostracisations came from Muggle impurities. Eventually they were married, and all the Muggles in their families were invited, Eunon’s only coming for his new wife’s treasure- a single golden medallion cursed with the Gemino curse- which multiplies when touched infinitely, crushing whoever touches to death. Eunon created a huge maze, his magnum opus, supposedly inspired by the Greek wizard Daedalus. All the guests were invited to try and win the maze and its riches inside, the wizards and witches staying back, recognizing the trap. None who entered came back. Eunon wasn’t done, however, as the maze remained, enticing as many as a thousand Muggles to unknowingly end their lives for the promise of treasure. Yet the Blackwoods soon raised a daughter, who became a Squib, Lysandra, who was nothing but disappointment to her family. She ended up reporting her mother to Muggle witch hunters, who burned her mother alive. Eunon and his daughter disappeared from their hom in Stonehaven, and so did the maze- which began reappearing around Scotland for short amounts of time, killing many more ensnared by its tricks. This brings is to present day, where history books have been left at the places of the maze, presumably by wizards and witches as warning, since at the end of the books it explains that wizardkind has indeed tried to tame the mazes.
This story leaves a LOT to be said- and raises a lot of questions, like WHY could only Eunon control the plants? Where is Stonehaven? Why does the MC have the capability to go through all the maze locations without any issues?
Let’s start with the easiest to answer: we know- or at least have an inkling of where Stonehaven used to be- and its on the map.
Although there are 5 Blackwood mazes that spawn naturally in the game, there’s actually a 6th one that is always present:
Manor Cape’s Maze
Tumblr media
There’s a special maze with different mechanics then any of the others- however it still has the indistinguishable Blackwood Maze arch, and its very clearly a hedgemaze, meaning this is definitely tied to the mysteriously spawning mazes across the map.
Tumblr media
There’s only ONE time the maze- which is implied to be all the same maze despite appearing in different locations- has ever been completely stationary, and that’s at Eunon’s own wedding, which, very likely, would have had at least part of it at his own home- like an after party. Which would be perfect for a maze game. Manor Cape is WHERE the wedding happened- and thus, where Stonehaven used to be.
Now for why Eunon could control the plants:
A simple theory could be a unique ability, something we’ve seen before. Eunon could simply be incredibly good with plants, much like Parseltongue is an unexplained phenomenon sourced to the descendants of Salazar Slytherin. Sometimes wizards and witches Just Can, even to the surprise of other wizards and witches. …But let’s be honest. That wouldn’t really be an entirely satisfying answer now would it? This is a game about an entirely different magical phenomenon, Ancient Magic. So it probably wouldn’t be too big a leap to say that this is the result of Ancient Magic, right? But what evidence do we have to prove that? Well, once again, now knowing Manor Cape was Stonehaven, and the mansion his home, we are given the answer on a silver platter. Around the manor are a pair of statues- one directly in the front-
Tumblr media
And one more off the path, but still on the property, leading to a now desolate secret cellar that can be accessed by lightning a fire in front of the statue.
Tumblr media
Now there’s an interesting detail about this secret cellar- to unlock the door that leads up into the mansion, you need Alohomora Level III. Now maybe I play this game too much- (lets be real- I Do) but Level III is usually reserved for secrets in game- especially in key areas like Hogwarts. And Manor Cape is a key area, where we fight and ultimately defeat Harlow. An interesting detail- considering other then leading up into the manor we already had access too, it does nothing for us to open.
But back to the statues. Why are they important? Well we’ve seen both of them before in the add-on Dark Arts pack’s Arena, and around the map before, that can at the very least confirm that these two statues are tied to each other, since we can see them in more then one place together.
Tumblr media
And that’s not all. We’ve seen these kinds of hooded statues tied to places with Ancient Magic before.
Tumblr media
At Isadora’s house in Feldcroft- someone we KNOW from the main quest is an Ancient Magic user. They’re also mysteriously inside her house as well.
Tumblr media
They can ALSO be found in the DADA tower at Hogwarts, which also from the main quest, we know is tied to Ancient Magic- possibly even built from it- as well.
Other places less prominent in which these statues appear are Henrietta’s many puzzles at Hogwarts and of course her Hideaway at the Coast, and the Korrow Ruins, otherwise known as Fearglas Castle from the Hagrid ride at Universal.
Of course, just a few statues isn’t enough to prove Eunon was an AM user, however, if we look at how AM behaves, we can argue it makes sense.
AM is clearly an elemental power capable of controlling the natural environment and world- we can visably see this when Percival Rackham uses it to create storm clouds in Feldcroft to make it rain, along with creating and controlling the local plant life- creating flowers and restoring the health of the fauna. So RIGHT THERE ALONE we can CONFIRM AM can CONTROL plants- and when doing so, although the energy of Ancient Magic cannot be seen, its constructs, such as the storm, and the plants, CAN.
Tumblr media
This brings us to our last and final question, why can the MC, where everyone else has failed, solve the mazes and find the treasure?
I think the answer can be found simply by referring back to the previous questions. If Eunon Wood was an Ancient Magic user, and the mazes are made by Ancient Magic, its entirety possible that the mazes, which are implied to “still follow the commands of its dark master”, just recognizes US as Eunon. We can traverse the mazes freely simply because we have the same skill as Blackwood himself. They can’t attack us because we can command it- Albiet unknowingly.
Maybe I’m just a crackhead who spends too much time thinking about this game- but then- YOU read this- so who’s the crackhead now? I’m kidding lol.
I hope you enjoyed my first ever theory on this game, and do be sure to offer your own ideas in the comments if you have any. I’m not perfect and I’m sure there’s something I missed somewhere! I hope this was as fun to read as it was to work on, and thanks for reading! 🥳

Prayers•
Prayer 1
Welcome beloved Artemis, our keen-eyed queen, I beg you hear me now. I pray you guide me that I might find the way. I pray you strengthen me that I might persevere along it. Make my discernment as yours that I might find worthy aims. Make my instinct as yours that I might seize worthy opportunities. Welcome sister of Apollo, golden huntress, we honor and thank you.
Prayer 2
Fleet-footed Artemis, keen-eyed daughter of Zeus and gentle Leto, sister of bright Apollo, we see your shadow in the woods, the curve of your bow, the flex of your arm, we hear the wind whisper as your arrows seek their mark–deadly your art, flawless your aim. Huntress you are, O Artemis, slayer of the stag and the boar, slayer of men and of women, death by your hand is death unforeseen. Maiden are you, goddess, and friend of maidens; ever-youthful one, your favor falls on the young, watching over young girls as they brave the world’s wonders, comforting the mother in the throes of her labor, keeping in your care the newborn babe. Artemis, shining maid of the wilderness, who takes pleasure in games, in contest and in merriment, who leads the nymphs in their carefree dance, whose clear voice we hear in the songs of young women and the hunter’s cry. Artemis, strong and tall, I praise and honor you.
3rd Prayer
I praise bright Artemis, fair as the budding branch, fair as the spotted fawn, brave as the young bear. From crafty Hephaistos you took the artful bow, the sharp-barbed shafts; from father Zeus you claimed your calling. Far-shooting Artemis, through the thick of the darkened wood you make your way, trailing boar and hare, swiftly and silently, your aim ever flawless, ever kind.
Prayer 4
Artemis, light-bringer, mountain-dweller, graceful one who runs through thorn and thistle with never a scratch, goddess unparalleled, friend of mothers in their travels, friend of maidens, friend of the pretty nymphs, in old Arcadia you roamed the wilderness, in Tauris you took the blood of men, in Ephesus you wore the mural crown. The fire of youth is in you, goddess, the bold and valiant spirit that marks a child as yours. Free-hearted Artemis, worthy daughter of Leto, I honor you always.
5th Prayer
I praise you, Artemis, free-hearted child of Zeus and blessed Leto, courageous goddess who roams the wildwoods with silver bow at hand. Artemis of many names, Artemis of many lands, your temples stood shining and tall, in cities and in villages. In the long days of summer the maidens dance in your honor; in Brauron were the little she-bears under your care. Artemis, the mountains are yours to wander, fleet-footed and firm of step; the wilds of the world are dear to you, O guardian of wood and of beast. Goddess who takes joy in dance and song, companion of the laughing nymphs in all their play, of all young maids you are the swiftest and the strongest, the fairest and the first, in skill and grace the greatest.
Websites/sources in comments.
————————-
Artemis who is the light, and the arrow in the bow, and the bullet in a hunting gun, and the same string In a lyre and a bow. May we all praise the wise huntress, Who is gentle to young girls and the bringer of Swift death from her golden bow.

terms like rosboy and azurgirl but related to ambiguity for anon! i used grey/silver to represent ambiguity, since that's the color i most associate with ambiguity.
there aren't really any naturally grey flowers, so instead of naming these after flowers like other rosboy/azurgirl-style terms, i named them after artemisia ludiviciana, a type of sage with silver leaves!

“Quite graceful isn’t she?”
Tumblr media
“Well yes but...” Holding on to the side of the ice rink as she slowly got used to the skates “How do people do this so easily?”
Tumblr media
“Relax Sister May, you’re doing well!” Granted it was amusing to watch the younger Templar flail about as she began to skate further away from the walls.

Boy oh boy this has been a long one! Sorry it's taken so long. Rotation 9 began all the way back on March 20th which means it's taken me around six and a half months to get through everyone. During this time I have also been plagued by a bad IBS flare up that leaves me fatigued so my guess is that's why things took much longer than normal.
While all households collectively aged a year and three quarters when you put it all together we've lived through 17 and a half years of sim time for a total of 70 sim days. Thank you for joining me on the journey! I'm going to be taking the rest of the month of October off from long form writing while I build SBL back up and engage in Simblreen antics. Rotations and Growing with Glenn will start back up in November.
Now, on to the noteworthy stuff! Main points followed by chapter summaries below the cut. Time to celebrate my sims achievements!
Five Sims Promoted - One max career!
Nine Skills Maxed
Eight New Builds
Seven Birthdays
One Wedding
Four Household Adoptions
York Household, Chapter 9
Calista and Aaron made their first nectar but mostly they were in parent/grandparent mode. Deanna was dumped by Paris and had a bad bug but still passed her first term of university. The youngest York aged up, realised they were trans, and she has renamed herself Artemisia, or Emi or Emisia to her friends and family.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
2. Chopra Household, Chapter 6
Rahul worked from home all week to help with his young family. Mercedes and Savannah aged up to children and have started school. Savannah is still feeling the effects of her motor delay while Mercedes may have a speech delay but turns out to be gifted. Viola aged up into a wild toddler and the household is due another shake up as Cassandra discovered she is pregnant for the third time!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
3. Romero Household, Chapter 1
Marta helped her fiance Keira learn about Dia de los Muertos as they paid respect to those in the forever save who couldn't attend the wedding. Keira began her job at the Marine Life Institute and Marta met some of her neighbours after barista shifts. Then the couple were married at Willow Creek church and honeymooned in Sulani. They are currently looking at options for having kids.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
4. Pancakes Household, Chapter 9
Eliza got promoted to level 9 of the corporate career. She and Bob decided that rather than have another pregnancy they would adopt so infant Tiana joined the family. Ginger got another fur sibling as dog Strawberry joined the household. Fergus aged up to a materialistic teen and after a week of working on their grades and cheer skills Onyx finally got their horse, named Maelstrom.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
5. New Goth Household, Chapter 4
Alexander and Milton retrieved Bella's old journals for Milton to begin reading, and the family celebrated Harvestfest with the Chopras. Alexander and James talked about having kids, and James admitted he would like to adopt a teen rather than having an infant. Milton went through a bear phase and Ariadne was adopted by the couple.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
6. Villareal Household, Chapter 6
Joey released his first video game and became a one star celebrity. Devin filmed a pirate film and her regular TV series. Luna spent most of her time trying to patch things up between her younger brother Max and his wife. Alfred broke many dollhouses and Rilian got a kiddie pool to play in.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
7. Nishidake Household, Chapter 7
It was a speedrun for this family but both Charlie and Kaori have finally reached the rock climbing skill needed to attempt to make it to the mountain summit. Clover learned to not eat trash but continued to knock the bin over for fun.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
8. Woods Household, Chapter 2
The murder mystery took a backseat this time. The couple met the Moonwood Collective and Samir ranked up to a Veteran werewolf. Reece started his biology degree and hosted some meditation sessions. The pair have also discovered they are fated mates.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
9. Knightstone Household, Chapter 9
It was festive season for the aliens in Chestnut Ridge. While Adam worked on his skills angling for that final promotion he managed to publish three books. Suzanna had a tough time with coworker Faye but reached a truce for the sake of their careers. She also finished a third collection, the My Sims trophy collection. Silas grew closer with fellow aliens Ruth and Tyree and showed off a Red Coral at show and tell. Pollock aged from an infant into a toddler and continued to learn.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
10. Foster Household, Chapter 9
Winter ended in Sulani. Harvey managed to get promoted but didn't catch any new types of fish this time. Kayleigh sold enough paintings to become a global Superstar and was our first sim to reach the top of her career! The focus was mainly on Carson who was navigating a crush while figuring out his identity as an asexual. Clumsy flirting eventually led to him officially being Ariadne's boyfriend though.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Woah that was a lot huh? I need to rearrange my navigation for this save before rotation 11 starts but any pressing thoughts? Any bits you loved or hated? How was the new bold and colour coded dialogue? Did it make it any easier to follow when multiple people were talking? Any things you wish will or won't happen next time?

Note
Do you think all of the S28 have crests/animals like how the Malfoys have their peacocks and the Averys have barn owls?
Yes, I do! Most of the Sacred Twenty Eight seem too stuck on their high horse to not have something like a crest/animals to represent them. I went with animals for this since I've got significantly more thoughts for that than on the crests, but I would imagine these also show up on some variant of a family crest as well. I got a bit of help from a friend with this one but,,, here are our thoughts lol
Abbot - Doves
The Old English derivative "abbod" is a reference to the head of monasteries and the Old French "abet" means "priest".
Avery - Barn Owls
Black - Black Ravens
This is canon, as seen on the Black family tree, but ravens are the specific corvus due to their symbolism.
Bulstrode - Marsh Frog
The Old English "bula" means "bull" and "strōd" means "overgrown marsh", yet bullfrogs are not native to the area.
Burke - Porcupines
Derives from the Norwegian name "Børke", which originated from the Old Norse "birki", meaning "birch forest", a location commonly populated by porcupines.
Carrow - Stoat
The Welsh surname "Caeriw" means "dweller at the fort on the hill", an area that stoats can be found. They are also a breed of mustelid that highly resemble a weasel, which highlights their Slytherin traits in reference to the phrase "weasel out of something", meaning to be cowardly.
Crouch - Lamb
The Old English term "crūc" means "cross", an item from a religion associated with lambs in direct correlation to their saviour. I especially love this for the religious context and it symbolically means innocence, purity and sacrifice. Especially the latter works great with how Crouch Senior sacrifices his son for the sake of his career but also how Artemisia Crouch (Barty's mother) sacrifices herself for her son (who she believes to be innocent as far as we're aware), something that she would have never done if she had not married into the Crouch family.
Fawley - Hare
The names originate from the Old English terms "fealu", meaning "fallow", or "colour", "fealh", meaning "ploughed land", and "lēah", which means "woodland clearing". The hare is a woodland creature with earthy tones, suiting each origin.
Flint - Otter
The Old English name means "stream", an otter's habitat.
Gaunt - Serpent
The Middle English term meant "slender", an apt description of a snake and a reference for their status as Slytherin's heirs.
Greengrass - Red Deer
An animal that takes residence in grassy areas.
Lestrange - Fox
The name derived from "foreigner" in French, which leads one to believe that they were perceived as outcasts, presumably to the Muggle world, as would likely be subsequently associated with the occult, of which foxes are part. Traits symbolised by the animal also follow Slytherin's creed.
Longbottom - Hedgehog
The Old English words "lang" and "botm" mean "valley bottom", where hedgehogs may be found.
Macmillan - Lion
Often depicted on the Macmillan family crests.
Malfoy - Albino Peacocks
This is once again another canon one. Lucius Malfoy even owns an albino peacock and it scares Yaxley when he arrives along with I believe Severus for a meeting in June or July 1997? Something along those lines.
Nott - Salamander
The surname may be a variant of "Cnut", which is an English variant of the name Knud, the king who brought England and Denmark together, and salamanders are animals found in Denmark whose features pair with Slytherin traits.
Ollivander - Cow
The name originates from the Greek "olive wand", and as the known Ollivander pairs wands and wizards, the animal was chosen from Hera's sacred cow, combining professions and origins.
Parkinson - Bat
The name "Parkin" meant "little stone" in Middle English, and whilst it is a wider stretch than others, caves are typically comprised of rock, where bats can be located.
Prewett - Lion
The name is a variant of "Prewitt", which meant "valiant", suiting both the animal and the House of Gryffindor.
Rosier - Bee/Swan
My friend suggested bees, as they are pollinators of roses, I personally like the swan. The swan is most commonly a symbol of love, similar to how the red rose is, but it is also a symbol of beauty, something I think the Rosiers value a lot. This also fits with my headcanon that the Rosier family has a lot of Veela blood in it, as the Veelas transform into a bird-like creature when angry. They're described as cruel-beaked bird-like harpy-esque creatures and as someone who's witnessed an angry swan, I think it all adds up lol.
Rowle - Eastern Osprey
I headcanon the Rowle family to have roots in Denmark (hence names like Thorfinn) and the Eastern Osprey is a bird fairly commonly seen in Denmark.
Selwyn - Goat
The name originates from the Latin "Silvanus", Roman god of the forest, where goats could be seen.
Shacklebolt - Horse
The name obviously refers to breaking shackles, thus freedom, which is often represented by horses.
Shafiq - Persian Leopard
Derives from "shafaqa", meaning "compassion". Felines are widely loved in the culture and leopards symbolise power, beauty, and wisdom.
Slughorn - Slug
Ignoring the obvious reasons the Slughorns would be represented by slugs, slugs are also known to symbolise adaptability which we see with the one Slughorn we know of. Snails in general often symbolise tests of personal strength and we've also seen Horace Slughorn deal with many tests of personal strength, first when he tells Tom Riddle about the horcruxes and later when he tells Hari about the memory of it.
Travers - Heron
The name meant "to cross" in Old French, typically crossing a body of water, an exodus that herons are known to populate.
Weasley - Weasels
Yaxley - Bison
The name comes from "gēac" and "leah" in Old English, respectively meaning "cuckoo" and "woodland clearing". As yaks are not as popular in Europe, bison bear a close resemblance.
There was a lot of overlap with what we thought for a handful of families, though most of the explanations are by @literallysleepy! Hopefully, you guys enjoyed them as much as I did,,,,

How is Skrik? And the other little dudes? I'm still not very on Instagram
I lost access to the insta where I shared updates for them so I don't post there anymore!! Skrik and the gang are doing great though!
Little Ghosti is rather dirty and grubby these days (he's stuffed with cotton wool so I have no idea how to clean him up) but he's happy with his friends. Skrik goes on the odd adventure too, and the Tiny Ghosties haunt my bookshelf with Lady Mossy and Mushy the Mushroom Knight. (Lady Mossy may or may not be in a relationship with the yautja. I'm not sure... He's touchy so I don't like to pry). Doctor Artemisia keeps everyone happy and in good health too.
I mostly use instagram for my motorcycle journey posts these days anyway :)
