None of y’all will be able to guess what just happened to me.

My dog just kicked, not one, but TWO fleas into my eye.

One of them just hopped out into the sink thankfully and that’s how I figured out what had happened. He (my dog) scratched, I felt something in the eye, washed it out and then see a guy hopping around in the sink and I’m like hmmm good thing these guys got jumping legs on them. I send him down the drain.

I go fleas are ewww let me rinse out the eyes some more. Ngl I seriously considered how bad a saltwater rinse would hurt. But yh I rinse my eye and go about my business and then suddenly…ATTACK to the eye again. I’m like don’t tell me there was something else. So I turn on the light and look in the mirror, pulling my eyelids every which way to get a good look. I think I see something at my lashes, but it was one of those situations where blink (ha!) and it’s gone.

Then I see it again in the bottom crook of my eyelid and I’m like you’ve got to be kidding me! I go tell my brother and he tries to wash my eye out with his shower hose and all we manage to do is get water in the good eye and on our feet.

I head back to my room and fail at pouring water into my eye with a cupped hand so I resort to sticking my eye in a cupped hand of water. Eventually I look up and catch something dark at my bottom lash. I actually have to fight this sucker free and that’s been my night!
