Moon-Mars synastry

Moon-Mars aspect might be one of my favorites in synastry (especially the trine, sometimes the conjunction) when both people (but especially mars) are emotionally mature and are good at communicating. Both people are intensely involved with one another. There's likely an incredibly strong physical attraction towards one another to the point where when they do finally come together, they can't keep their hands off of each other. Their connection can become pretty sensual. It is likely the mars person feels for the moon intensely at first, but doesn't want to scare the moon person off with how much they desire them so they wait until they show receptivity. Mars person always wants to be touching or to be near the moon person and the moon person secretly loves it. The moon person is incredibly magnetizing to the mars person, and the moon person is super attracted to how the mars person asserts themselves. They love how the mars person takes initiative in the relationship and feels pretty inclined to quickly accept and respond to the mars person's gestures. Mars person can put a lot of effort in to satisfy the moon person on multiple levels and are super protective of them. On the flip side, a common challenge between the two is that during arguments/disagreements, the mars person can be incredibly short with the moon person and/or stonewall them by not telling them what the problem is. Her touch was light, careful, dragging over the shape of his shoulders and upper back, pressing into his deltoids, tracing the curve of his biceps. She’d even had the nerve to ask him to flex.

He’d flexed.

“Long head of the triceps brachii connects here,” she murmured, her fingertip brushing the inside of his arm. “Crosses the shoulder joint and anchors along the infraglenoid tubercle of the scapula.”

Her voice was calm, clinical. Completely professional.

Meanwhile, Dante was ready to dig his own grave.

He bit the inside of his cheek, trying to keep his breathing steady, staring at the floor like it owed him something.

She was close. Too close. Her breath brushed over his skin every time she leaned in. He could smell her shampoo. Could feel her knees brushing his thighs as she shifted.

And she didn’t have a damn clue what it was doing to him.

“Relax,” she said gently, noticing the tension in his shoulders.

Dante forced out a laugh. “Yeah. Easy for you to say, doc. You’re not sittin’ half-naked while someone pokes around like they’re lookin’ for buried treasure.”

She giggled, actually giggled, and pokes his arm lightly.

“I appreciate you letting me do this, you know.”

He swallowed hard. “Yeah. Anytime.”

He meant it. Even if he was dying inside.

She moved lower, fingers drifting across his sides. “Okay. Let’s take a look at the abdominal region.”

His breath hitched.

She didn’t notice.

Not when she shifted again, this time kneeling directly in front of him, her thighs brushing his legs, face level with his stomach. Not when she leaned forward and pushed his arm aside to get a better angle. Not when her fingers found his lower ribs and followed them down.

Dante froze.

Her hands were warm. Gentle. Focused.

They slid over the ridges of his abs, tracing the line of the rectus muscles, fingertips dragging with maddening slowness toward his navel.

He couldn’t move. Couldn’t breathe.

He’s wrestled with demons all his life, but this time, the ones inside him were winning. His body betrayed him, hardening in his jeans so fast it hurt, blood rushing south like it had a death wish.

Dante cursed under his breath.

“Did that hurt?” she asked, immediately concerned.

“No,” he said too quickly. “No, I’m fine.”

But he wasn’t. Not even close.

His palms were sweating. His jaw was locked so tight it ached. And if she moved her hand even an inch lower...

“Hey, uh.” His voice cracked. He cleared his throat. “Maybe we… stop there?”

“Trust me,” he cut in, voice strained, “you don’t.”

There was a pause.

Then her eyes flicked down.

It only took a second, a second to realize what she was looking at.

Dante cursed softly and dropped his head into his hand. “Shit.”

“I-I didn’t mean-” she stammered, voice small. “I wasn’t trying to make you-”

“I know,” he said quickly. “I know you weren’t. It’s not your fault.”

She didn’t move. Neither did he.

The air between them felt thick. Quiet. Loaded.

“You’re…” She hesitated. “You’re really warm.”

He laughed, hoarse. “Yeah, well. That happens when you’re turned on.”

She inhaled sharply.

Dante groaned, pressing his palm over his face. “God. Sorry. I’m sorry.”

“Why are you apologizing?” she whispered.

He looked at her.

She wasn’t laughing. She wasn’t pulling away. She was just...staring. Flushed and breathless and maybe just as rattled as he was.

“Because,” he said, more quietly now. “Because I’m your friend. And I didn’t wanna make this weird.”

She didn’t say anything for a moment. Then:

“…Have you ever…?”

He blinked. “Ever what?”

“Done this,” she said softly. “Been with someone.”

Dante swallowed, throat dry. “No.”

Her eyes searched his.

He shrugged, suddenly very interested in the floor. “Didn’t wanna fuck it up, I guess.”

“You wouldn’t,” she said immediately. “You wouldn’t.”

Something in her voice made him glance back up.

She looked nervous. Hesitant. But not scared.

Not running.

He didn’t answer with words.

He just leaned in: slow, scared, shaking and let his forehead rest against hers.

Walking quickly over to you with a concerned look, you feel her touch against your shoulders immediately relaxing the tensed muscles from your neck down.

“That bad today, kid?” She asks and you nod quickly before attempting to stand up straight. “I’ve been trying….so hard to stay moving, release dopamine…oxytocin…whatever the fuck else I can think of to help. But at this point? My uterus is staging a civil war and my legs feel like jello” you say through gritted teeth.

You see Robby out of the corner of your eye and you immediately stand up straight. The last thing you need is your sturdy, mature, sweet yet stern, silvering but sexy attending to notice your discomfort. You couldn’t handle it today. His head swivels quickly and his eyebrows shoot to his hair line. Before you can even put up a hand to motion to him ‘I’m ok’, he’s on the move, straight to you.

“Hey…you ok?” He asks with genuine worry. Both you and Dana notice his eyes taking over you in investigation trying to assess for any physical abnormalities. His hand gently grasps your chin, tilting your head up so he can look at your pupils.

“Robby stop…I’m fine. It’s just…ah - ssssss” you wince again when another wretched wave of cramps move through your offending uterus. His hand moves from your chin to gently grasp your cheek and his other hand moves to test your temperature on your forehead.

You left out a ‘pfft’ and roll your eyes up at him. “It’s my period…relax. It’s just kicking my ass today” you finally say after getting momentarily overwhelmed by his touch.

At this point, Dana’s smirk has almost wrapped around her entire face. Shes clearly not needed here anymore. She pats you on the shoulder, kisses the side of your head and walks off towards the nurses station.

He takes a long beat, too long. Long enough to make you squirm. And finally after what seems like a solid 5 minutes; it was only 45 seconds…he speaks.

“It’s not that I wouldn’t…but with you? Fuck…while you’re bleeding? I need the space to play.” He says into your ear and your entire body freezes. You let out a shaky breath and look over at him, finding a bit of confidence in how he’s talking to you.

“My favorite hobby as a kid, besides playing Doctor? Finger painting” he says matter of factly, like he’s just telling you a random fact about his life. The sides of your lips quirk up into a naughty smirk and you can hear your mind screaming at you to make a choice. You take deep breath and blow it out just as quickly.

“Are you gonna wear your smock, good boy?” You say in a soft voice. The grip Robby has on your wrist tightens and you can hear the low growl brewing in his chest.

“Don’t” he says sharply. And his eyes squeeze shut for a moment. He lets go of your wrist and takes a deep breath, letting his chest expand and deflate slowly. “You call me that again, and I will become less and less responsible for my actions” he says low and gravelly.

“Promise?” You say cheekily. Just as he’s about to respond another cramp rips through your uterus, feeling like a contraction. “Jesus” you seeth and bend forward, clapping a hand on Robby’s shoulder for support.

His hands go to your hips immediately and the heat radiating from his hands seeps into your skin. “You think you can last another hour?” He asks, gently massaging your sides through this wave of pain.

“I don’t have much of a choice, Doc” you say with a tad bit of sass. “Why? You have a plan?” You ask, finally letting out a long breath you didn’t know you were holding. Your shoulders relax slightly and you’re able to drop your hand from where you had it anchored to his body.

“I thought you did….fuck and nap the cramps away? Or was I hearing things…” he says like he just made plans to get coffee.

You stand there, mouth slightly agape before letting out a short, shocked, laugh.

“Alright, my little artist…you really wanna do this?” You ask with seriousness in your tone. His smirk grows as he starts to nod, “I’m running out of reasons why not…”

“And besides…I’m a doctor…and you’re in pain. I took an oath, it would unethical of me not to” he says before leaning down to place the softest kiss on your lips. Just enough. Barely there. Kiss? Minimal. Effect? Maximum.

Your arms flourished in goosebumps and you actively shivered. He chuckles and runs his arms up and down yours to help your nervous system calm.

Becoming the guardian of Megumi and Tsumiki at the age of eighteen was no easy feat, still being a kid himself he grew with them and sometimes acted more like an older brother than a father but that didn't stop his (sometimes overbearing) affection.

When he first introduced you to Megumi you coulda swore the kid was raising Satoru and not the other way around. His level of maturity was off the charts which Satoru tried to take credit for (lies). Megumi liked having you around for the main reason of his guardian having someone else to bother, constantly stating how he likes you more than him. The boys bickered pretty often and it always made you laugh.

Satoru loved to watch you and Megumi interact, seeing a nurturing side to you warmed his heart to the core. Megumi began seeing you as a guardian as well when he witnessed you taking care of Tsumiki in the hospital, which was a part of his daily routine he didn't really like to talk about. And for that they both appreciated you immensely.

"Megs!" You called out to the navy haired boy as he walked with his peers, turning around at the nickname. He stopped in place waiting for you catch up. "I brought you lunch, I didn't want you to be starving after training."

His hand accepted the bento box with a nod of acknowledgement.

Similar to Satoru; Suguru adopted his girls young, bringing Mimiko and Nanako into his care not long after graduating. He had such a soft spot for the girls and never failed to cater to their every need.

As the girls grew into their teen years Suguru had even more trouble saying no to them, practically bending to their every request and spoiling. He allows them to drag him into various malls and restaurants and of course he carries their many bags with a smile on his face.

The girls took to you very quickly when you entered the picture, happy see their dad smile more than usual and excited to have a woman's presence around the house.. You really played the mother role well, giving them tips on makeup and taking time to do their hair. You were the one they came to when they got their periods and it was times like those were Suguru was glad you were around to educate them on the things he couldn't. Nanami wasn't exactly Yuji's dad but he was the closest thing the boy had to a father figure, allowing him into his home under his protection. Despite his sometimes stoic personality Nanami cared for the boy deeply and wanted to see him succeed in life. Although it did take a bit of effort for him to bring his walls down and get out of his comfort zone when it came to his interests.

When you and Nanami started dating his softer side to him began to grow, taking more time to spend with the two of you and relish in the presences of his loved ones.

As much as he didn't want to admit it he loved that you and Itadori kept him on his toes and brought new found excitement into his life. The fact that you and the pink haired boy had similar personalities always made him chuckle to himself, the two of you were like peas in a pod and that made it even harder to say no.

"Y/N, tell Nanamin that we have to go see the new Human Earthworm 4!"

"I just don't see the appeal in those types of movies, they're too hard to follow ." Nanami didn't bother looking up from his newspaper while you and Itadori baked cookies.

Midorimais such a tsundere, so relationship with him would be so interesting! I can imagine him being more on the reserved side, even a little bit closed off at the beginning.

A relationship with him is bound to be as straightforward and honest as it could be. From him, but he also expects it back. He is mature enough to known what and how to say something-- withouth sugar coating it.

This guy is obsessed with astrology, you cannot tell me he won’t be obsessed with any other divination tool. Especially if his s/o reads tarot cards or is into witchcraft, he would be a bit conscious at first- but would immediately immerse into this world too. Asking for a tarot reading on the game/ himself. Or a good luck charm he can carry with himself.

Definitely the type to check his and your horoscope compatibility. If there’s anything to compare, he will. Blood type? Done. Whole astrology chart? Done. Life path number? Done. He doesn’t necessarily follow it to a T, meaning that he might consults the results, but ultimately he will make the choice by what feels right. On the note of astrology/divination, if his s/o doesn’t believe in it, that’s fine. I think he could get past it. I've also been cooking something else up for the past few days, so please look forward to it!

The reason why Allen and Deuce's behaviour towards each other is so different in comparison to how they act with other people is actually quite simple.

These two have a ridiculous amount of kinship. Their experiences, wishes for the future, worries, opinions and morals are essentially the same despite being different, which allows Allen and Deuce to have an absolutely blind understanding and extremely easy communication with each other. Additionally, their experiences are reversed (former honor student with great self-control who's now a lowkey delinquent & former delinquent with little self-control aspiring to be a model student), which adds to them being able to efficiently help and understand each other entirely on a very deep, personal level.

Deuce is able to open up A LOT more to Allen than to anyone else due to their special intimacy. While everyone knows Deuce as a hardworking guy with regrets who wants to better himself, Allen has access to much deeper feelings because of how much Deuce trusts and relates to him. This not only sets Allen (who is my Yuu) apart from the canon Yuu, but also explains why the relationship timeline below talks about Deuce's feelings and struggles on a much more intense level than the game does.

But how did they reach this point? And how did their relationship get so intense? Here's a little bit of a relationship timeline!

PROLOGUE

Allen and Deuce met on their first day of school when Allen was chasing Ace. For Deuce, it was pretty much love at first sight and he immediately knew he'd love to get to know this mysterious, mildly intimidating boy — Allen radiated an aura of intelligence, confidence, extreme toughness, ethereal beauty and utter determination. Deuce was pretty much just staring at him like "...woah".

Allen displayed a lot of these very characteristics (+ maturity) during the prologue and Deuce was already admiring him a ton. This guy really had all the attributes that made Deuce nervous around someone, huh...?

Due to Deuce's extreme determination to not get expelled, Allen immediately sensed that something was off. Teens (including Allen himself) weren't usually this keen on going to school... And Deuce, too, had his suspicions about Allen due to how this mature, composed and witty boy dressed like a rebel.

BOOK 1

When Deuce first displayed his delinquent characteristics, Allen not only comforted him, but also opened up about his own tendencies and the fact that he used to be a model student before he became a lowkey delinquent himself. Deuce was a bit impressed that Allen was just like him in a way, so his kinship towards him immediately grew. However, the second Allen offered to help him with his impulse control and talk more about these topics, it was absolutely OVER for Deuce — not only was Allen pretty and smart, but also similar to him and willing to give him a safe space despite barely knowing him.

For Allen, this was a fairly unusual gesture as well. He's often apathetic and doesn't usually offer to help people nor relates to others. However, seeing that Deuce struggled with the exact same thing as him in a different way, Allen didn't even have to think about it and immediately knew that he wouldn't regret talking more to a rare person with similar experiences and thoughts. Maybe they could help each other in a way...?

Shortly after these events, they already started talking about their experiences together. However, it was mostly Allen asking questions about Deuce first, trying to keep his own past in wraps. Deuce's past and his regrets felt familiar to Allen, and he admired Deuce's aspirations to become a model student. He did, however, sense that something was off.

As they hung out more during Book 1, Allen's secret suspicion that Deuce tried too hard to be someone he naturally wasn't slowly confirmed itself already. Deuce expressed a dislike towards hard topics from class and struggled heavily with his homework, yet kept saying that he had to do well. What came off as someone being ambitious and working hard to others was the beginning of self-destruction in the eyes of burnt-out former honor student Allen, and he decided to keep an eye on Deuce. Additionally, Allen offered to tutor him, which Deuce excitedly accepted.

BOOK 2

Between Book 1 and Book 2, Allen's brain decided to randomly let him relive the pain he had experienced as a bullying victim back in his world in great detail. That exact night, Deuce came to Ramshackle after a fight with Ace, wanting to ask Allen if he could stay over. This was when a violently crying Allen opened the door... and Deuce's suspicion that something was wrong with Allen was confirmed, too. When Deuce asked him about what had happened, Allen decided to finally open up about his past — after all, the other boy had done the same — and it only made Deuce's feelings grow. Allen assumed that he was being perceived as weak for crying, but to Deuce, it only made him even stronger. Enduring all that unjustified hatred and still carrying on with confidence... it was nothing short of admirable to Deuce. Additionally, he felt both saddened and incredibly angered hearing how Allen was severely bullied and almost driven over the edge because of something he couldn't control. This boy was so beautiful and special... why did he have to suffer? Was he doing better these days...? That night, Deuce made a silent promise to himself that he'd protect Allen.

The two kept spending lots of time with each other, talking and developing more and more trust with every sentence. They were so similar... two delinquents perceived as scary who both wanted to prove others wrong, be admired, craved meaningful relationships, hated bullies, had experiences with anger issues, wanted justice to prevail, and struggled with school in some way... and this wasn't even everything yet. Additionally, Allen started showing Deuce some effective ways of handling impulsiveness that worked on himself, too, and Deuce was intrigued. The two also didn't hesitate to rant together, which allowed both of them to let off steam and be angry in a safe environment while being fully understood by the person in front of them.

Allen also helped Deuce with his studies more often. However, Deuce sometimes kindly declined his offers and simply asked Allen to supervise him instead, wanting to learn and study by himself in order to prove himself that he could indeed achieve better grades through his own effort. Allen silently watched out for Deuce not pushing himself too hard because he could sense that what looked like hard work on the outside was tied to something much deeper on the inside...

When Deuce walked in on an annoyed Allen one day, he found out that the blonde boy had "messed up" a drawing and blamed himself for not being a good artist. Deuce comforted him and thought that Allen's art was genuinely amazing, but what the boy said next shattered Deuce's heart. "I don't care if I'm good... apparently I can only be someone if I'm the best at something. And I'm far from being best at anything. I'm doomed to be a nobody, I guess." Never in a thousand years did Deuce expect the current Allen — the seemingly perfect, confident, calm, tough and effortlessly beautiful Allen who often had a sly smirk on his face — to think about himself like this. After asking if this was the only thing Allen felt insecure about, the boy decided to open up further and tell Deuce how he also despised his own appearance. The blue-haired boy was genuinely shocked because to him, Allen was the most beautiful person he had ever seen, and he couldn't care less about Allen's rather unique body either. How could he show Allen that he was actually stunning...?

In return, Deuce also opened up about his own insecurities to Allen on a deep level — something he had never done before out of fear of being made fun of. While the Ramshackle student wasn't surprised, it still hurt him to hear just how lowly Deuce thought he was... What sounded like a motivated "I don't have a lot going for me, but I'm doing my best!" to everyone else had always been a "It hurts to have nothing other than negative traits going for me and I hate myself for the fact that I don't improve at anything no matter how hard I work" in Allen's eyes, and here was the direct confirmation. If only Deuce could see that all those 'negative' traits he had were actually admirable and useful...

The two ended up having an extremely heartfelt talk that mostly consisted of them showering each other in genuine compliments and admiration. Deuce had never been able to see the things he hated about himself in such a positive light... and his heart was yet again beating like crazy.

BOOK 3

When finding out that Deuce had made a contract in order to get better grades, Allen got even more concerned due to the boy's desperation and decided to finally have a heart-to-heart talk with him about how hard he was pushing himself. Allen knew that being a model student was a role Deuce was forcing himself into too hard and that it was prone to go wrong, especially considering how Deuce's natural self was quite different from it. Since part of Allen's trauma stemmed from being an honor student himself, overworking himself a ton, and having to deal with a ridiculous amount of highly unrealistic expectations and passion, he didn't want the same to happen to his friend — but if Deuce neglected himself and paid attention to nothing but his honor student persona, it was prone to happen one day. Allen told Deuce that there was no shame in accepting help, and the Heartslabyul student eventually saw that relying on himself only wouldn't help with improving his grades. As a result, Deuce started accepting Allen's offers to assist him fully, and Allen immediately came up with some original study methods and mnemonic bridges tailored specifically for Deuce. Additionally, Allen wasted no opportunity to tell Deuce yet again that he didn't have to change the core of his being in order to become the person he aspired to be, and that Deuce's "negative traits" were actually helpful assets.

Whenever Deuce wasn't busy at the Mostro Lounge, they would study together. Allen made sure that it was enjoyable and fun for the already stressed Deuce and paid great attention to his wellbeing. Every time Deuce was about to fall back into his old behaviours due to the stress and feeling of betrayal stemming from the entire Octavinelle situation, Allen reminded him of the impulse control methods or introduced Deuce to new ones. At other times, they would find a secluded place where Deuce could safely let off steam... Slowly but surely, the Heartslabyul freshman was able to get his anger under control.

The second it was obvious that Allen needed a new temporary residence, Deuce immediately knew that he wanted to share a bed with him. He accidentally mentioned this thought to Ace, who then teased Deuce about a possible crush on Allen. Deuce obviously denied everything and said that Allen was merely his best friend, but deep down, he knew that Ace was completely right. When Ace later suggested that Allen shared a bed with either him or Deuce and Allen denied in order to stay at Savanaclaw, Deuce's heart ached a little and he simply laughed it off.

By now, Deuce and Allen were much more touchy, too. Allen usually hated it when people touched him, but Deuce was an exception due to how close him and Allen already were at this point. And every time Allen touched Deuce, a firework went off within the Heartslabyul student's heart...

BOOK 4

Allen didn't understand why he was suddenly feeling empty at the knowledge that Deuce left for home during the holidays. He was merely a friend, right? Why did his two-week departure sadden Allen...?

The second Deuce read Allen's SOS message, he immediately packed his things and stormed off. He would've done the same for other friends, but certainly not reacted this impulsively... and knowing that Allen was in a tricky situation literally freaked him out. When his mom asked Deuce why he was leaving for school in the middle of the holidays, the teenager explained everything to her... and finally admitted that he loved Allen. Dylla was the first person to know about Deuce's massive crush and immediately pulled him into a hug.

Deuce was extremely fidgety and nervous during the entire travel back to NRC and Ace couldn't miss it. When he said that "Allen was merely in a difficult situation, you should chill", Deuce verbally lashed out at him and went on about how great Allen was. Ace then brought up his suspicion that Deuce liked Allen as more than a friend again, and Deuce simply replied with "So what if I do?!" this time. Needless to say, the rest of the ride was packed full of teasing and jokes at Deuce's cost...

The minute Allen and Deuce reunited, they shared a lung-crushing hug and felt their hearts race like crazy. Deuce was incredibly happy to see that Allen was doing okay, and Allen suddenly felt much happier...

The fact that plenty of people over age of 12-14 hate Nesta and Tamlin, but adore Feyre and Rhysand, just goes to show they don't fucking need complex, ambiguous characters. It makes me laugh out loud every time Tamlin's violence is considered an unforgivable sin, but Rhysand and Cassian's violence is always, ALWAYS justified by necessity or the best of intentions. The level of hypocrisy is just off the charts.

Don't tell me it's just an entertaining read when it constantly brings up serious, painful topics. You can't judge SA, abuse, war, slavery, misogyny, racism and all that when your story, at best, simply demonstrates it, and at worst is supported by characters who fight with it only in words. If this reading rots the brains of mature, established people who are in relationships, what does it stuff the minds of younger readers with?

Sorry, but don't let them read "Lolita". These pudding-brains will foam at the mouth to prove that Lolita is an ungrateful slut, Humbert sincerely loved and cared for her, and Nabokov needed to add more “spicy” to the story. Don’t give them “The Collector”, because they will say Miranda is evil bitch who does not appreciate Frederick’s love, and he loves her so much that he doesn’t even fuck her, such a sweet man. John Fowles, fuck youself, why didn't they have a happy ending? And never, I beg you, never let them read the manga "Kill the Stalker" and "Who is the Prey", where real violence in all its manifestations blooms and smells. They will see just a tough love and will make excuses for it.
