you get to resurrect one of these Death Note characters so that they may go back to the past and "fix" it... you can try to tell them what you think they should do, but, oh no, the super convenient magical Death Note loophole that has allowed this resurrection to happen doesn't leave you with a lot of time to explain!! it's ultimately up to them!!

So many people on the money vs Character creation screen commenting "money can be exchanged for good and services" and like yes, of course!

But also rn money can't buy you out of chronic pain, chronic fatigue, life threatening allergies, or degenerative conditions

Which, as suspected, seem to be the main driving force behind the character creation screen choice (along with non human mod. Forgot about that restriction in the first poll xD) though some people have written in that they would take the money over getting rid of their chronic pain so this definitely warrants more questions in the follow up polls xD

Traits of the mysterious lake entity:

Underwater

Associated with shadow, seaweed, and unnatural chill

True form obscured; seaweed and shadow could be an extension of their form or a tool it's manipulating

Lures victims from a large distance by influencing them with a want or urge; does not need active line of sight

Lure magic is Charisma-based and requires a CHA saving throw to break out of, rather than the more common Wisdom-based charms and influences

Immune to Necrotic damage

Is repelled by Turn Undead

Not very strong

Kills its victims via compelled drowning, or hypothermia if drowning takes too long
